Rick Perry Drops The Birthers. Now Embraces Call For Obama’s Transcript

Rick Perry is in a bad position with the voters. He came into the race for the Republican nomination a few months ago leading the field, but has seen his lead evaporate every time he opens his mouth. In an effort to boost his brand with the far right-wing of his party, Perry embraced the birthers movement, which questions whether President Obama was born in America.

Pay no attention to the birth certificates the President already provided debunking these nut-jobs and their conspiracy theories.

Needless to say, Perry is now looked upon as an absolute joke among thinking Americans, so he’s decided to drop the birthers and is looking for acceptance of another group – those who believe that President Obama got into Columbia and then  Harvard because of affirmative action. He simply could not have been accepted on his own merit.

In another interview, with  Adam Smith of the St. Petersburg Times, Perry discarded the birthers and has now embraced another of Trump’s baseless claims, now centered around Obama’s education;

Adam: Jeb Bush said the other day, the Republican candidates should categorically reject the notion that Barack Obama was not born in America. This came after you expressed doubts about that… what would you say to him?

Perry: “I don’t think I was expressing doubts. I was just having some fun with Donald Trump. So I…

Adam: Are you comfortable that he’s an American citizen?

Perry: “Oh yeah. It’s fun to… ya know lighten up a little bit.. ”

Adam: So you have no doubt he’s an American citizen?

Perry: “I have no doubt about it. But here’s the more interesting thing. Let’s lay out our income taxes. Let’s lay our our college transcripts. Mine’s been on the front page of the paper. So if we’re going to lay out all these things, let’s lay them all out. So, whether it’s college transcripts or income tax, lay them all out. Let the people take a look at them.”

Tune in next week, to see Perry jump on the “deathers” bandwagon – those asking to see the dead body of Osama Bil Laden as the only proof that the President was able to get America’s number one villain!

Mitt Romney Weaves A Tangled Web Of Lies And Deceit

Oh Mitt! Why are you so filled with deceit? You criticized Rick Perry in a previous debate for providing “magnets” of “extraordinary government benefits” to undocumented immigrants in this country, but as it turns out, you too Mitty Romney are guilty of doing the very same thing you accused Perry of.

Perry provides the undocumented with education benefits, and you Mr. Romney, provides them with health care.

The Massachusetts healthcare law that then-Gov. Mitt Romney signed in 2006 includes a program known as the Health Safety Net, which allows undocumented immigrants to get needed medical care along with others who lack insurance.

Uninsured, poor immigrants can walk into a health clinic or hospital in the state and get publicly subsidized care at virtually no cost to them, regardless of their immigration status.

The program, widely supported in Massachusetts, drew little attention when Romney signed the trailblazing healthcare law.

What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!

Mitt Romney Is A Gangster – Manhandles Rick Perry

There’s no doubt about it. How else would you explain his actions last night, when in the middle of a heated discussion with Rick Perry – where punches were almost thrown – Romney initiated contact with his rival by putting his hand on Perry’s shoulder? That’s a no-no. People have died doing stuff like that. In the middle of an argument, you just don’t touch your opponent.

I know people in Brooklyn who got a good beating just for looking at a rival during an argument.

The issue? Undocumented  immigrants, or as the Republicans like to call them – illegal aliens. Rick Perry and his sinking poll numbers, needed to bring everything he had to the debate. He needed to knock Romney off his pedestal. So what did Perry do? He brought up a story that Rudy Giuliani tried in the last presidential debate. A story about Romney hiring “illegals” to work on his lawn.

Yes, it was a weak attack. When Rudy Giuliani brought it up in the last presidential election, the accusation had more of an effect. People wanted to know what was happening with Romney, the landscaping company he hired and the undocumented workers they sent to cut his lawn. And many people believed Giuliani’s attack caused irreparable damage to Romney, thus contributing to his failed campaign.

But that was 2008 and Romney was ready this time around. As the words began falling from Perry’s mouth, Romney began replying and a shouting match ensued.

“I’m speaking, I’m speaking!” Romney said, as the two yelled back and forth. At this point, Romney did the unthinkable and made contact. “Are you just going to keep talking?” Romney asked Perry, standing  just a couple of feet to his left. “Are you just going to keep talking?”

“Have at it!” Perry replied, obviously upset that Romney had the nerve to touch him.

Romney then dug into Perry again, calling him “testy” because of  his dismal past debates, to which the audience began applauding, signaling their approval of the way Romney manhandled Perry. In my imagination, I could see Romney gesture off stage, then cousin Vinnie appeared heading towards Rick Perry with one goal – to take him out, and I’m not talking a dinner date. But that didn’t happen, at least not in last night’s debate. I cannot guarantee the thought did not cross Romney’s mind though.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Gangster was in the house last night, and he is leading the way for the Republican nomination!

Imagine that!

Poor Rick Perry – His Son Lost His Job Because Of President Obama

Excuse me while I pass the tissues around. We’re all collectively crying for Rick Perry and his unfortunate family, as they suffer the consequences of the Obama Administration.

According to Anita Perry, Rick’s wife, her poor banker son lost his job because of President Obama’s regulations. So yes, the Perrys are just like us. They have first-hand experience of what if feels like to suffer from the effects of this wretched economy.

At a campaign stop for her husband in South Carolina, Mrs. Perry spoke with a voter, sharing his story about losing his job. Mrs. Perry, who couldn’t wait to tell the world about how terrible the Obama Administration is, and how all the regulations on corporations are causing so many others to lose their jobs as well, jumped in with her story;

“My son lost his job because of this administration,” she said.

Except for one thing…

Seems the young Perry – his name is Griffin btw – contrary to what Anita implies, didn’t actually lose his job at Deutsche Bank. He quit, but because he wanted to help his poor poor dad on the campaign trail. You see, Griffin’s dad is running for President.

Anita goes on explaining her son’s plight,

“He resigned his job two weeks ago because he can’t go out and campaign with his father because of SEC regulations,” she said. “He has a wife… he’s trying to start a business. So I can empathize.”

Yes, she empathizes…!

I remember when my dad was running for president I too had to quit my job…. oh wait… wrong lifetime.

With a show of hands –  how many of the millions of unemployed in the audience quit their high-paying corporate job to help their dad run for President? Hmmm…I’m not seeing any hands.

Yes, the Perrys are suffering just like us, and it’s all Obama’s fault!

Bill Donohue To Rick Perry – Drop Jeffrees Before The End Of The Week

“Where did they find this guy? When theological differences are demonized by the faithful of any religion – never mind by a clergyman – it makes a mockery of their own religion. [The] Rev. Jeffress is a poster boy for hatred, not Christianity.”

That was  Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League. Donohue was discussing the recent remarks made by Robert Jeffress at last week’s conservative Voters Values Summit, where Jeffress endorsed Rick Perry and buried Romney’s faith, referring to it as “non-christian” and earlier as a “cult!”

Speaking with The Christian Post, Donohue said that he disagreed with Jeffrees comments. “That’s simply an ignorant statement,” Donohue said, “Mormons have been around for a long time, so I wouldn’t consider them a cult any longer.”

When asked who he would vote for if Romney is the Republican nominee, Donohue said he would vote for the person most qualified to lead the nation. He then said he cannot vote for President Obama because of his “abortions-on-demand” stance. He then acknowledge that Romney had the same “abortions-on-demand” beliefs, but confessed that Romney would actually get his vote.

“Romney’s positions on abortions are disturbing to me too, Donohue said, “He supported abortion-on-demand when he was governor of Massachusetts but has now said he changed his position. It is concerning that his mother is a supporter of abortion-on-demand and he has made statements that he would do what his mother tells him to, but I would rather have someone who is willing to change his views on abortion than someone who won’t.”

Asked if Perry could run a successful campaign with the Jeffrees’ endorsement and controversy hanging over his head, Donohue said Perry would have to distance himself from Jeffrees first, and the sooner the better… like, by the end of this week!

Today is better than tomorrow, but if he doesn’t do something by the end of the week – and we are almost there – then I think his campaign will be in serious trouble.

Well it’s Friday, and Perry is still holding on to Jeffrees’ endorsement. We’ll see what happens by days end.

Rick Perry Said It – Mitt Romney Is A Flip Flopper

If Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry could say this about his Republican opponent Mitt Romney, who am I to disagree? I am not going to disagree, as a matter of fact, I am going to help Perry get the word out.

Definition of a flip flopper – See Mitt Romney.

Robert Jeffress – Jews, Gays, Mormons And Islam Came From The Pit Of Hell

On Friday at the conservative Values Summit, Pastor Robert Jeffress, while introducing his candidate  Rick Perry, accused Mitt Romney of not being a real Christian. Jeffress went on to warn the audience that voting for Romney will be endorsing a cult, referring to Romney’s Mormon religion.

In his introduction of  Perry, Jeffress said;

“Do we want a candidate who is a good, moral person, or one who is a born-again follower of the Lord Jesus Christ? In Rick Perry, we have a candidate who is a committed follower of Christ.”

Later, Jeffress told CNN that although Romney is a good man, his Mormon religion would be a problem, saying “I think Mitt Romney is a good, moral man. But I think those of us who are born-again followers of Christ should always prefer a competent Christian to a competent non-Christian like Mitt Romney.”

But this message that Mormonism is wrong is not something new to Robert Jeffress or his congregation of over 10,000 people. Jeffress also feel the same way about the followers of Islam, Jews and of gays. Jeffress calls these different religions and groups of people “wrong,” saying ” it is a heresy from the pit of hell!”

I think part of the problem is we’re in this consumer mentality as a church where we have the idea that our job is to build as big of a church as we possible can. And if we get into that idea and fall into that trap, then we say then we can’t say anything that’s going to offend people, why, if we preach that homosexuality is an abomination to God we better not preach that because that’s going to offend the gays or people who know gay people, if we tell people what the Bible says that every other religion in the world is wrong: Islam is wrong, it is a heresy from the pit of Hell; Mormonism is wrong, it is a heresy from the pit of Hell; Judaism, you can’t be saved being a Jew, you know who said that by the way, the three greatest Jews in the New Testament, Peter, Paul, and Jesus Christ, they all said Judaism won’t do, it’s faith in Jesus Christ.

Five Republican Presidential Candidates Withdraw From Univision Debate

Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Jon Huntsman and Rick Perry all pulled their names from a debate sponsored by the Spanish language network Univision. Their reasoning falls right in line with what would be expected from a 3rd grader – they didn’t like the way Univision handled a story concerning fellow Republican Marco Rubio’s brother-in-law, so these five requested their names be removed from the debate.

Seriously…!

According to reporting by CNN, the five are claiming that Univision had a story about Rubio’s brother-in-law’s drug conviction, and told Mr. Rubio that they would not broadcast the story if Rubio agreed to appear on “Al Punto,” (Univision News program.) Universion has denied this claim, calling it “absurd” and according to Isasc Lee, President of Univision News;

“Univision did not offer to soften or ignore the report about an anti-drug raid that involved the family of Sen. Rubio. We would never make such an offer with any protagonist in a news report and we did not make an offer in this case.”

But that statement was already too late. The Fab Five had already based their decision to withdraw their names on zero facts and that was all they needed.

It is hard to believe that these five Republican presidential candidates would prefer listening to unfounded rumors, instead of meeting and answering the questions important to the Spanish community. Well, maybe not hard to believe… we are talking about Republicans here.

Rick Perry Does The Moonwalk – New Poll Numbers

The Texas disaster that is Rick Perry continues with his unintended withdrawal from the Republican presidential nomination process, as new poll numbers shows him now tied with Herman Cain for the number 2 slot behind the new leader of the pact, Mitt Romney.

A Washington Post/ABC News poll out Tuesday shows businessman Herman Cain has tied Perry for second place behind frontrunner Mitt Romney. Romney is at 25 percent while Cain and Perry each get 16 percent.

But the trajectory is an indicator of the men’s fortunes. The Texas governor has fallen 13 percentage points since the last poll while Cain has risen 12 in the last month.

As for the rest of the pack, Texas Rep. Ron Paul reaches double digits with 11 percent while former House speaker Newt Gingrich and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann are holding at 7 percent. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum is at 2 percent while former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman is holding at 1 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,002 people from September 29th to October 2nd.

Watch Herman Cain Calls Out Rick Perry – “Just Plain Insensitive”

If you haven’t heard about Rick Perry and the name of his hunting grounds, then you must have been living under a rock – and we’re not talking about the infamous rock with the name “Niggerhead” written on it, and positioned at the entrance to the 1,070 acres property where Rick Perry and his friends hunted back in the 80’s either.

Herman Cain so far, is the only Republican presidential candidate to discuss this latest Perry slip-up. Will the other candidates use this opportunity to attack the leader of the Republican pact? We’ll have to wait and see.

This word on the property that Perry owned a lease to, and brought friends to, would normally be enough to end any previous presidential ambition. However, we’re not in normal times, so don’t be surprised if Perry’s poll numbers among these Teaparty/Republicans increase simply because of this scandal. After all, this is the group that praise killing people and suggested that the uninsured die if they get sick.

Democrats Already Have Chris Christie In Their Cross-hairs

Just in case Chris Christie decides this week to join the Republican circus and get the usual instant promotion to ring-master, Democrats have already begun getting their hunting gear prepared. All that’s needed now is confirmation that Christie is running…lol, and the hope that Rick Perry provides his inappropriately named  hunting grounds in Texas.

On the Sunday talk shows, Maryland governor Martin O’Malley and Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick were taking some pot shots at Chris Christie just to start the ball rolling.

Maryland Gov. and DGA Chairman Martin O’Malley on “Face the Nation;”

I think at the end of the day what this race is going to come down to is effectiveness. When it comes to being effective at creating jobs, improving schools, and expanding opportunity, his record in New Jersey has not been a record of governing for effectiveness. His bond rating has been downgraded by two of the bond rating agencies, his unemployment in New Jersey is one of the higher unemployment rates in the country at 9.4%. Last year, New Jersey created no new jobs and his schools, because of the choices he’s made to cut education funding, have actually been declining in their national ranking.

So that’s not a record of leadership and governance and effectiveness. So whatever the entertainment value is, it’s not effective governing.

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick on “Meet The Press;”

Look, you know, he’s been governor for, what is it, a year and a half, two years? … I think unemployment in New Jersey is higher even than, than the national average. It’s some unfinished work in New Jersey in order to have proof points for the case he wants to make. I think the point is that the president is not leaving the outcome of this election up to pundits, pollsters, or some view of what the current or future field will be in the Republican Party. It’s about getting out and appealing to people where they live, where they are, where they feel, and making sure that they understand he’s trying to do what he can to help them out.
