Newt Gingrich – Get Used to Trump’s “Brilliant or Stupid” Tweets – Video

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich went on Fox News Sunday and told Chris Wallace that Americans better get used to Trump’s Twitter usage, regardless of if his tweets are “brilliant or stupid.”

“We might as well get used to it,” Gingrich said. “This is who he is and how he’s gonna operate. Whether it’s brilliant or stupid, he beat 16 rivals, then he beat Hillary Clinton (with the help of Russia of course) and he beat the elite media. He ain’t giving it up.”

Newt Gingrich – White People “don’t understand being black in America” – Video

In his conversation with Van Jones, former Republican House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, came to the shocking truth that black Americans live with every day – black lives do not matter  to white America and white Americans could care less about blacks being gunned down every day by police.

“It took me a long time, and a number of people talking to me through the years to get a sense of this. If you are a normal white American, the truth is you don’t understand being black in America and you instinctively under-estimate the level of discrimination and the level of additional risk,” Gingrich said.

He continued, speaking about his childhood: “It was still legally segregated, which meant the local sheriff and National Guard would impose, by force, the taking away of rights of Americans. We’ve come a fair distance, now we have a black mayor of Atlanta, and have had a series of them in fact. We have John Lewis who went from marching on Selma to a Democratic whip in Congress. But we’ve stalled out on the cultural, economic, practical progress we needed.”

That lack of progress, Gingrich said, “creates the kind of alienation where it begins to become legitimate to think about, whether it’s in songs or slogans or whatever, the shooting of policemen. If we were to continue in this direction of alienation on both sides, you could really be a very coarse and dangerous society in 10 or 15 years.”

For GOP, it’s NEWT to The Rescue – Call the Coroner

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that for the Republican party, the way to move forward is only accomplished in reverse.

Since Boehner jumped ship on the Republican speakership of the House and McCarthy’s candidacy for the same position ended in a belly flop, eyes turned to the only other logical party insider to fill the post, Paul Ryan. Ryan however, has been adamant that he does not want the job.

But this group of misfits in the House of Representatives need a leader, and word on the street is, Newton Gingrich is serious about the gig… again!

“If you were to say to me 218 have called you up and given you their pledge, obviously no citizen could ever turn down that kind of challenge,” Gingrich told radio and Fox host Sean Hannity. “This is why George Washington came out of retirement — because there are moments you can’t avoid.”

“Moments you can’t avoid” would be putting on a blindfold and going for a stroll along the edges of the Grand Canyon. Okay, so you can avoid doing that by choosing not to put on that blindfold or walking along the edges of the Grand Canyon. But if Republicans choose Gingrich as Speaker of the House, then like the blindfolded fool walking along the edge… well, somebody should call the Coroner.

Former Republican House Speaker Accused of Sexually Abusing Another Male

Oh these Republicans have balls!

It is common knowledge that while Newt Gingrich masterminded the impeachment of President Bill Clinton for having an affair with Monica Lewinsky, Gingrich himself was busy having an affair of his own. And it is common knowledge that while Clinton was being impeached for said affair, another Republican leader, Rep. Bob Livingston of Louisiana, had to step down from being House Leader because he too was involved in multiple affairs.

Balls, right? Yea, I know.

But that’s not the end of if. Apparently, the biggest balls of all go to the next Republican who took over as House Speaker and became the longest-serving Republican House speaker in U.S. history, Dennis Hastert. It is now being revealed that Hastert had a secret of his own, and his secret was big… very big. Big enough that Hastert felt it was necessary to pay $3.5 million to a blackmailer to keep the secret… secret.

What was Hastert’s secret? Was it sexual in nature? Hell yea! He is a Republican after all. But unlike the sexual nature of his predecessors Newt and Livingston, Hastert’s sexual secret involved another man who might have been underage when Hastert had sex with him.

“It goes back a long way,” said one official discussing the recent seven-page indictment against Hastert.

On Friday, federal law enforcement dropped the anvil when they revealed that Hastert paid $1.7 million of the $3.5 million to a male he’s accused of sexually abusing when the boy was his student in Illinois.

And if they can all do it over, I’m sure Gingrich, Livingston and Hastert would all impeach Bill Clinton again for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Balls!

Newt Gingrich Compares Hillary Clinton to Kim Kardashian

If she decides to run in 2016, Hillary Clinton, the potentially first female president of the United States, could blow the Republican candidate out if the waters. So naturally, Republicans have been relentlessly attacking the former Secretary of State, even though she hasn’t made a decision to run.

This latest attack is compliments of Newt Gingrich. In Tuesday’s episode of “Crossfire,” Gingrich accused the former First Lady of lacking the qualifications for the presidency.

“You have to understand the problem Bill has,” Gingrich said. “Bill is to politics what Fred Astaire is to dancing, he is just automatically amazing and he wants to have Ginger Rogers out there dancing. Instead [with Hillary Clinton] it’s a little bit like watching Kim Kardashian get kicked off the stage by Prince because she couldn’t dance.”

Gingrich was referring to a February 2011 concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where Prince called Kardashian onto the stage. When the reality star did not start dancing, Prince booted her off, yelling, “Get off the stage!”

And when it comes to politics, Gingrich is not sure that Hillary Clinton has the right moves.

“I think there’s a big problem, because I don’t think, as a candidate, that [she] dances very well,” Gingrich said.

Newt Gingrich and Wolf Blitzer Spar Over Ted Nugent’s Disrespect for Obama – Video

I had lost all hope for Wolf Blitzer. No, I had lost all hope for CNN. The network was quickly travelling down the same road as Fox News, catering to sensational “journalism” and leaving the American people factless.

Tonight however, Wolf Blitzer gained some of that respect back. Not because he stood up for a Democratic President, but because he stood up for what was right. Which means that Newt Gingrich stood up for what was wrong. Hey, he’s a Republican.

The controversy surrounds a statement Ted Nugent made, where he called the President of the United States a “subhuman mongrel.” In an interview with Guns.com, Nugent said;

“I have obviously failed to galvanize and prod, if not shame enough Americans to be ever vigilant not to let a Chicago communist-raised, communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel like the acorn community organizer gangster Barack Hussein Obama to weasel his way into the top office of authority in the United States of America.”

The name calling by itself is not a news maker considering that it came from Ted Nugent. What made this statement especially horrendous was when it was amplified by the poor judgement of an official trying to be the next governor of Texas. GOP gubernatorial nominee Greg Abbott invited Nugent to speak at a campaign event and that is where the ‘subhuman mongrel’ controversy erupted.

Wolf Blitzer, like much of the rest of the country – not counting Republicans and the Teaparty – thought a gubernatorial nominee regardless of party, should not be associating himself or a campaign event with the likes of Ted Nugent. Blitzer invited Gingrich on his show to talk about the Nugent/Abbott association and that is where the sparring took place.

For Mandela, The Process Was Not Ideal, But the Outcome is Undeniably

What kind of world are we living in, when the man responsible for freeing millions of people from an oppressed system, is denounced and dismissed as if ending such a horrible system as apartheid is a common, everyday routine.

When Nelson Mandela died at the age of ninety five, people from around the world recognized the importance of the man and the life he lived. But here in America,  a certain group couldn’t get pass the fact that Mandela, at a certain point in his life and in the struggle for freedom from apartheid, took a considerably unpopular path along the way. That small path in all his 95 years was enough to labeled him a terrorist. And it is this small path the naysayers focus on.

These naysayers, mostly in the Republican party, expressed their views when Ted Cruz and Newt Gingrich spoke positively about Mandela on Facebook. Some of their views got so unbearable, Newt felt the need to respond.

Mandela was faced with a vicious apartheid regime that eliminated all rights for blacks and gave them no hope for the future. This was a regime which used secret police, prisons and military force to crush all efforts at seeking freedom by blacks.

What would you have done faced with that crushing government?

What would you do here in America if you had that kind of oppression?

Some of the people who are most opposed to oppression from Washington attack Mandela when he was opposed to oppression in his own country.

After years of preaching non-violence, using the political system, making his case as a defendant in court, Mandela resorted to violence against a government that was ruthless and violent in its suppression of free speech.

As Americans we celebrate the farmers at Lexington and Concord who used force to oppose British tyranny. We praise George Washington for spending eight years in the field fighting the British Army’s dictatorial assault on our freedom.

Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give me death.”

Thomas Jefferson wrote and the Continental Congress adopted that “all men are created equal, and they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Doesn’t this apply to Nelson Mandela and his people?

Some conservatives say, ah, but he was a communist.

Actually Mandela was raised in a Methodist school, was a devout Christian, turned to communism in desperation only after South Africa was taken over by an extraordinarily racist government determined to eliminate all rights for blacks.

I would ask of his critics: where were some of these conservatives as allies against tyranny? Where were the masses of conservatives opposing Apartheid? In a desperate struggle against an overpowering government, you accept the allies you have just as Washington was grateful for a French monarchy helping him defeat the British.

Finally, if you had been imprisoned for 27 years, 18 of them in a cell eight foot by seven foot, how do you think you would have emerged? Would you have been angry? Would you have been bitter?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Smacks Down Newt Gingrich on War On Women

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s (R) awkward attempt to link Vice President Joe Biden to the GOP’s policies against womens’ reproductive health was smacked down hard by Democratic National Committee chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) on Tuesday.

“Democrats like to complain about a Republican ‘war on women,’” Gingrich said on Crossfire, before mentioning Biden’s visit to a Japanese e-commerce company, DeNA, in which Biden asked a group of women working there if their husbands “like them working full-time,” if they were married, and if they were allowed to work from home.

“How do you explain Biden’s inability to stay in touch with reality?” Gingrich asked Wasserman Schultz, who expressed amazement that Gingrich would link the “war on women” term with Biden, the author of the Violence Against Women Act, which was been staunchly opposed by Republicans even after passing in the House in February 2013.

“Your party spent two years holding back on bringing the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act to the floor,” Wasserman Schultz responded. “Your party has nominated, consistently, the likes of [Pennsylvania Gov. Tom] Corbett in Pennsylvania, who famously said, ‘Well, if women don’t want to have an ultrasound when they have an abortion, they can just close their eyes.’”

Schultz also pointed out that another Republican, Virginia Attorney General nominee Mark Obenshain, introduced legislation four years ago that would have required pregnant women to report a miscarriage to authorities.

“If you want to talk about the war on women — and that’s just a couple of examples –” Schultz said, before getting cut off by Gingrich.

“I understand your version of reality,” Gingrich shot back, before being interrupted himself by co-host Stephanie Cutter.

“That’s not a version of reality, Newt,” Cutter chimed in. “Those are facts.”

Breaking News: Newt Gingrich Finally Told the Truth

For a change,  someone in the Republican party spoke the truth, and that’s because the topic was not President Obama. If the topic wad the president, then the same old Republican lies and talking points would have been told.

But in this case, Newt Gingrich was talking about the gradual but speedy dismantling of his party and the fact that they have failed to learn past lessons. And on that topic, Gingruch actually said something noteworthy.

“We are caught up in a culture where as long as we are negative, as long as we are vicious and as long as we can tear down our opponent, we don’t have to learn anything.”

Gingrich also finally admitted that while his party has focused on tearing down the president and his policies, they have offered zero alternatives for the American people.

If Gingrich keeps this up, Republicans would surely revoke his membership card. Truth is apparently not allowed in that party and anyone who insist on telling it, walks alone.

So, You Say You Wanna Be President

Word is out that VP Joe Biden is looking to throw his hat into the ring for president in 2016. Not for nothing, but if I were to go with the present mood of the country, I’d have to say that Hillary Rodham Clinton (Stop! We all know she’s running lol!) stands a better chance of becoming the Democratic nominee than the beloved Joe. And it won’t be because Mrs. Clinton is the better politician, or the more experienced legislator or even better liked than Biden. It’s what she isn’t that’s more likely than not going to give her a clearer shot as successor of the Obama Administration.

I don’t think the country has experienced this much diversity since John Fitzgerald Kennedy became the first Irish Catholic American to hold court in the Oval Office. That major feat seems like small potatoes compared to the election of a Barack Hussein Obama to the White house.

Thirteen years into the 21st century and America is slowly showing signs of embracing its diversity, the main reason why its so attractive to others born outside its perceived borders. Whichever way you may wish to see it, for better or for worse, President Obama and his Administration have successfully ushered in The New Vanguard in American politics.

THE ERA OF THE ‘NEW VANGUARD’ IN AMERICAN POLITICS

In the 2009 appointment of his Cabinet members, Obama’s choice of seven women (including Hillary as his Secretary of State), nine racial and ethnic minorities and only eight white men among its 21 members–whose overall age averaged 54 years–made his the most diverse Cabinet in history according to political analysts. It’s predicted that his new Cabinet selections, once completed, will also reflect more accurately what America looks like today.

As it should.

It doesn’t help the resistance to this change, that Americans–particularly the young voters who came of voting age within the last ten years or so–have witnessed the slow, embarrassing decay and deterioration of an antiquated Republican Party. It offers such a clear juxtaposition of how we no longer want our politics to look and act as opposed to what we do want.

Virtually unknown, seemingly untainted and un-corrupted by Big Money lobbyists, grass-rooted, youthful, innovative, broad-minded, humanist, energized and unafraid…these are the adjectives being applied to NewPolitician_5.0!

And just to be fair, Clinton and her people should not consider her a shoe-in for the candidacy in four years (remember how that worked out in ’08? Not so good.) There are quite a few politically aspirant stars out there who have cut their teeth on this new political vibe and are looking to go supernova in the American political galaxy. Gays and Lesbians, Latinos, Asians, young white and black men and women, the secular, the handicapped, Little People and even Mormons!…anyone can step up to the plate at any inning and upset her whole game, hoping for the opportunity to represent America, as seen through their eyes. Whether they’ll be the political trailblazers that these difficult times call for, well–only time will tell.

As it should.

Words Of Wisdom From Newt Gingrich – Debt Ceiling Fight is “A Dead Loser” For GOP

Appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Newt Gingrich had something to say about congressional Republicans’ new threat to damage this nation’s recovering economy – fighting President Obama tooth and nail on the debt ceiling fight coming in a couple of months. Congressional Republicans have indicated that they are willing to shut down the government if necessary, to force President Obama and the Democrats to see things their way. And to this idea, Gingrich said;

“But he also knows — they’ve got to find, in the house, a totally new strategy,” Gingrich began. “Confronting — for example, everybody’s now talking about, okay, now comes the debt ceiling. I think that’s, frankly, a dead loser.”

Gingrich explained that “in the end… the whole national financial system is going to come into Washington by television and say ‘Oh, my god, this will be a gigantic heart attack. The entire economy of the world will collapse. You guys can’t be responsible,’ and they’ll cave.”

The last time Republicans threatened to force a U.S. government default by refusing to raise the debt ceiling, which allows the government to pay out money that congress has already spent, the result was the first credit rating downgrade in U.S. history. Another such debacle would be disastrous, but Republicans see this threat as fair game to extract political concessions.

I’m pretty sure that will be the first and only time we use Newt Gingrich and “words of wisdom” in the same sentence.

Breaking News: Newt Gingrich Tells The Truth – Republicans Can’t Compete If Hillary Runs in 2016

Yes, it’s unbelievable. Newt Gingrich opened his mouth and something miraculous happened… the truth jumped out.

The amazing revelation happened today on NBC’s Meet The Press. Gingrich was talking about the perils of his party and the prospects of them winning in 2016, when he said this;

“If [the Republicans’] competitor in ’16 is going to be Hillary Clinton, supported by Bill Clinton and presumably, a still relatively popular President Barack Obama, trying to win that will be truly the Super Bowl. And the Republican Party today is incapable of competing at that level.”

But that wasn’t the only truth Gingrich spoke today. He kept his mouth opened long enough and more truths to jumped out. This time, Gingrich explained that the reason his party lost the November election was not only because of Mitt Romney was a loser, but also because his party is a loser’s party that refused to adopt to the changing political climate in America.

Gingrich explains;

“We didn’t blow it because of Mitt Romney, we blew it because of a party which has refused to engage the reality of American life and refused to think through what the average American needs for a better future.”

The suggestion was also made that Gingrich should run again for president in 2016. But if Gingrich continues to tell the truth, the Republican party will quickly show him the door. There’s no room for truth tellers in that party, and Gingrich should know better!
