Rick Perry on Trump’s Build-a-Wall Plan – “I know you can’t do that”

It is the corner stone of Donald Trump’s campaign, it is the the low hanging fruit of the Republican party… it’s easy pickings
The idea that Donald Trump will “build a wall” along the Mexican border and that “Mexico will pay for it,” was all they needed to hear and the base loved it, propelling Trump to the top of the Republican party.

But Former Texas Governor Rick Perry, a Trump supporter by the way, is breaking away from Trump and his “I will build a wall” nonsense. In a recent interview, Perry stated that Trump will nor be building any wall… at least not a real wall in the physical sense of the word.

“I’m for Donald Trump, and he says we’re going to build a wall, the Mexicans are gonna pay for it,” Perry told Snapchat’s Peter Hamby on “Good Luck America.”

Hamby remarked, “It’s not going to happen.”

“Well, it’s not,” Perry said, explaining, “It’s a wall, but it’s a technological wall, it’s a digital wall.”

Perry, who is supporting Trump, commented, “There are some that hear this is going to be 1,200 miles from Brownsville to El Paso, 30-foot high, and listen, I know you can’t do that. ”

Rick Perry – More Guns in Movie Theaters Will Stop Shootings in Movie Theaters – Video

It’s the usual argument from these NRA gun-loving Republicans. Adding more guns to the equation will result in less gun violence. They said it when there was a mass shooting in a Colorado movie theater, they said it when there was a mass shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut, they said it when there was a mass shooting at a church in South Carolina and now that there’s yet another shooting at another theater in Louisiana, they’re calling for more guns again!

On Sunday, one of the Republican’s professional presidential candidate Rick Perry, went on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday and proclaimed their usual mantra – if there were more people with guns in the movie theater in Lafayette Louisiana, then the mentally deranged man who opened fire last week killing two movie goers and then killing himself, would have never happened.

“I think that it makes a lot of sense to send a message across this country,” Perry said. “If we believe in the Second Amendment, and we believe in people’s right to protect themselves and defend themselves, and their families.”

He added,

“I believe that, with all my heart, that if you have the citizens who are well trained, and particularly in these places that are considered to be gun-free zones, that we can stop that type of activity, or stop it before there’s as many people that are impacted as what we saw in Lafayette.”

Meanwhile, the Republican governor in the state where the last shooting occurred, Bobby Jindal, refused to admit that guns or the lack of adequate gun laws could have contributed to the last shooting in his state. “There will be an absolute appropriate time for us to talk about policies and politics,” Jindal says, as he secures the approval of the NRA in his quest to become president.

Rick Perry Calls Mass Shooting at Black Church in South Carolina an “Accident” – Video

And he is running for President of the United States!

“This is the M-O of this administration,” the Republican presidential candidate said in an interview with Newsmax. “Any time there is an accident like this — the president is clear, he doesn’t like for Americans to have guns and so he uses every opportunity, this being another one, to basically go parrot that message.”

The “accident” Perry was referring to is the intentional, calculated shooting of 9 black people in a South Carolina Church by a racist 21-year-old. The former Republican governor of Texas also chalked up the massacre to the need for more prescription drugs.

“Also, I think there is a real issue to be talked about,” Perry continued. “It seems to me, again without having all the details about this, that these individuals have been medicated and there may be a real issue in this country from the standpoint of these drugs and how they’re used.”

Rick Perry’s Republican ID Card is Ready – #MugShot

Rick Perry, one of the potential Republican candidates to run for president in 2016 got his official Republican ID card today – his mug shot.

Perry’s mug shot is compliments of an abuse of power indictment, a corruption charge and on his way to get his Republican ID taken, Perry promised that he “will fight the charges” with every fiber of his body. Perry also called the indictment “a political act.”

“This indictment is fundamentally a political act that seeks to achieve at the courthouse what could not be achieved at the ballot box,” Perry told a crowd in Austin Texas before he got his fingerprints and mug shot.

Not sure why he’s smiling…

Rick Perry – So What if Kids are Killed in Gaza, People “Lose Their Lives in War!” – Video

Innocent women and children are being slaughtered in Gaza, some of them killed when Israeli bombs dropped on their schools, hospitals and UN sanctioned “safe zones.” But if you listened to Rick Perry, there is no problem here. War is war and innocent people die!

In an appearance on CNN, host Candy Crowley asked Perry,“When you look at 1,700-plus civilian deaths in Gaza — the large majority of which are civilians we are told — what is your thought about that, what is your reaction to that?”

Without any form of emotion, the gun tooting Republican governor from Texas responded;

“War is a horrible thing. There are individuals who lose their lives in war.”

“But when we have a fairly good understanding that Hamas is actually using their citizens as shields, at that particular point in time, it loses a lot of the the power, if you will, from my perspective. When you look back at Hamas’ statements that they will not be satisfied until Israel is wiped off the face of the Earth, then you start understanding the mentality a little bit better of a terrorist organization like Hamas.”

Here in America, crazy Republicans have gone into Churches to disrupt services, and in Dr. Tiller’s case, a crazy Republican even killed the man while he worshiped in Church because he didn’t share their ideology. They’re apparently accustomed to these safe zones being attacked, so Perry’s statement come as no surprise.

Macho Man Rick Perry Wants The Federal Government to Pay for His National Guards

Big Bad Rick Perry. He don’t need no freakin’ gov’ment! If these little children want to cross the border in his state, then Big Bad Rick Perry knows exactly how to handle these young little rascals whose only hope is to survive. He’ll send in the National Guards… 1000 of em!

Now Rick Perry already knows that the National Guard can not do anything to these children. He’s already admitted that in numerous interviews. But Big Bad Perry is trying to send a message, a photo-op for those other children thinking about crossing the border –  Look, we have the National Guards at the borders.

“It’s just like a law enforcement effort in your neighborhood,” Perry said, explaining his reasons for ordering up the Guards. “Where you see a parked patrol police car on the corner, and the bad guys see it and don’t commit a crime.”

That message, that photo-op is going to cost the state of Texas $12 million dollars a month.

But according to news reports, Big Bad Perry apparently didn’t think this thing through. Who’s going to pay for the 1000 National Guards ordered by Perry to waste time at the border? A $12 million a month price tag?

Reports say that macho man Perry is now running to the Federal Government to ask for help paying for his vary expensive photo op.

Perhaps realizing the threat, President Obama dispatched a team to the border last week to determine whether a federally organized National Guard deployment was necessary.

No matter what (President Barack) Obama decides to do, Perry has said he intends to ask the federal government to pay for his deployment of 1,000 troops, estimated to cost $12 million a month.

BIG Government Rick Perry Wants The National Guard at The Border – Video

Big government indeed. Rick Perry, governor of Texas, is requesting more and more from tax payers and ultimately the Federal Government. He wants the National Guard to come in and patrol the border not because they can make arrests, they can’t, but because he wants the visual.

According to the backward thinking of Big Government Rick Perry, who was interviewed on Fox News by Brit Hume, cutting into the already depleted budget to pay a few thousand of National Guardsmen to patrol the border for the perfect picture moment, is how we will stop the children from coming over the border.

“They need to be right on the river. They need to be there as a show of force because that’s the message that gets sent back very quickly to Central America,” he said.

Hume challenged Perry, asking what purpose troops could actually serve.

“They’re not, under the law, allowed to apprehend any of these children that are crossing, are they?” he asked.

“The issue is with being able to send that message because it’s the visual of it, I think, that is the most important,” Perry responded. “If you don’t stop the bleeding. If you don’t staunch this flow of individuals that are coming up here, this is only going to get worse.”

Hume continued to press Perry.

“But the question I’m trying to get at with you is this: if these children, who have undergone these harrowing journeys to escape from the most desperate conditions in their home countries, have gotten this far, are they really going to be deterred by the presence of troops along the border who won’t shoot them and can’t arrest them?” he asked.

“I think we’re talking about two different things here,” Perry responded.

The governor then added that the “most humanitarian thing that we can do” is to take care of the undocumented immigrants, quickly process them and return them to their families.

President Obama – The Real Problem with Immigration is Congress

Following his meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry, President Obama  issued a statement saying that there are no real differences between what he an Perry wants in regards to the border security and immigration issues in South Texas. The President stated that the real stumbling block is getting Congress to act on getting things done.

“The problem here is not a major disagreement around the actions that could be helpful in dealing with the problem. The challenge is, is Congress willing to act to get this done,” the president told reporters. “The question is are we more interested in politics or are we more interested in solving the problem.”

The president urged Republicans to put politics aside and act on his request for $3.7 in emergency funding to cope with the influx of unaccompanied minors flooding across the border.

“Congress has the ability to work with all parties involved to directly help this solution,” Obama said. “This supplemental offers them the ability to work immediately to get this done.”

Rick Perry Snubs Obama – Refuse To Shake President’s Hand on Tarmac

President Obama invited Rick Perry to meet him at the airport in Austin Texas, but Perry apparently had better things to do. Politicking.

In his refusal letter to the administration, Perry pointed out that he didn’t want a “quick handshake,” but instead, wants a “substantive meeting” to discuss the immigration issues in South Texas.

“I appreciate the offer to greet you at Austin-Bergstrom Airport, but a quick handshake on the tarmac will not allow for a thoughtful discussion regarding the humanitarian and national security crises enveloping the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas,” Perry wrote in a letter on Monday to the president, according to the Austin American-Statesman. “I would instead offer to meet with you at any time during your visit to Texas for a substantive meeting to discuss this critical issue. With the appropriate notice, I am willing to change my schedule to facilitate this request.”

This refusal to meet the president regardless of the reasoning will play beautifully in the conservative arena. And especially since Perry is considering a run for the White House in 2016, his diss of the president is sure to attract a few more votes.

Politicking.

Rick Perry Approves of Bundy’s Fight Against the Law

How can we as a nation move forward, when our leaders are siding with criminals instead of the law as interpreted by our courts.

It is okay if Sean Hannity on Fox News insist that Cliven Bundy is correct in refusing to obey multiple court orders, but when Republican governors take that very same position, then the criminals have won.

Texas Republican Governor Rick Perry is now convinced that taking up arms against government employees trying to enforce a court order, is the right thing to do.

In a recent interview on Fox News, Rick Perry said that Cliven Bundy were force into picking up arms against BLM workers because the Bureau of Land Management were acting outside the law. Yes, the same law that authorized them through a court order to take the steps they took when they began confiscating Bundy’s cattle.

Said Perry;

Well, here’s here’s the bigger issue…I have a problem with the federal government putting citizens in the position of having to feel like they have to use force to deal with their own government. That’s the bigger issue.

Rick Perry Says Enacting Obamacare “is a criminal act”

So when Congress passed the bill in both the House and Senate, and when President Obama signed it into law, and when the United States Supreme Court ruled the law constitutional, they all broke another unknown law and committed a criminal act, according to the brilliant mind of Rick Oops Perry!

Republican insanity!

At a campaign event for Republican New Jersey Senate candidate Steve Lonegan, Perry blamed Democrats for the current government shutdown because they were unwilling to defund or delay the Affordable Care Act.

“If this heath care law is forced upon this country, the young men and women in this audience are the ones who are really going to pay the price,” the governor told a crowd at the Bendix Diner in Hasbrouck Heights, according to The Star-Ledger. “And that, I suggest to you, reaches the point of being a felony toward them and their future.”

“That is a criminal act, from my perspective, to put that type of burden on them — to mortgage their future like that,” he added. “America cannot stand that.”

For his part, Lonegan insisted that he approved of the tactics being used by House Republicans, saying, “We’re shutting down unnecessary parts of government? Good.”

Lonegan’s Democratic opponent, New Jersey Mayor Corey Booker, blasted the Republican businessman in a statement on Tuesday.

“Steve Lonegan today underscored why he has no business representing New Jersey in the U.S. Senate,” Booker said.

“It was bad enough that he reemphasized his allegiance to the extreme right wing of the Republican Party and their efforts to hold the American people hostage by shutting down our government. But in an event today with [Perry], Lonegan also trivialized the furloughing without pay of more than 30,000 New Jersey federal workers.”

Rick Perry’s Wife – Abortion is “a Woman’s Right!”

Anita Perry

Texas first lady Anita Perry told an interviewer on Saturday that she thinks abortion is “a woman’s right.”

Perry’s husband, Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), has helped push through a slew of laws restricting and eroding access to abortion in the state. He is on record deriding the idea that the right to privacy extends to abortion, has signed a pledge urging opposition to abortion “without exception and without compromise,” and explicitly stated that his goal is to make abortion in Texas “a thing of the past.”

Apparently, his wife does not agree. When asked at an interview at the Texas Tribune Festival if she thinks the governor’s administration “got it right” on abortion policy, Anita Perry immediately responded, “Well, that’s really difficult for me.” And while she clearly expressed personal opposition to abortion, she twice referred to that choice as “a woman’s right.”

INTERVIEWER: Your view is: governor’s got it right, the administration has it right.

ANITA PERRY: Well, that’s really difficult for me Evan because I see it as a woman’s right. If they want to do that, that is their decision. They have to live with that decision.

INTERVIEWER: Mrs. Perry I want to be sure that you didn’t just inadvertently make news. Are you saying that you believe that abortion is a woman’s right — to make that choice?

PERRY: It is not mine. It is not something that I would say for them.

INTERVIEWER: Do you believe that the state is attempting to say for them? And that if the governor and the administration had its way it would say for women that it is not their right?

PERRY: I think it goes back to the states and Texas has decided that no that is not what we want in the state.

INTERVIEWER: But your personal point of view is that it’s a person’s decision within the law to make that choice?

PERRY: Well I don’t really think that’s making news. I mean, I think that yeah, that could be a woman’s right. Just like it’s a man’s right if he wants to have some kind of procedure.
