New York Police Intentionally Runs Over Occupy Wall Street Protester – Video

If this isn’t criminal, I don’t know what is.

The New York Police Department has come to a new low, and that is something we thought was almost impossible for this police department to do.

In even more evidence that the rights of American citizens to organize and protest are being trampled on, the video below shows a New York police officer riding his bike over the leg of a man. The officer then parks his bike on the screaming man’s leg, then tried to fend off other protesters trying to help the man.

Later reports confirmed the man’s leg was broken because of the incident.

This ladies and gentlemen, is the police’s definition of “protect and serve!”

An Emergency Call From Occupy Wall Street

At 7AM tomorrow – Friday, the owners of Zuccotti Park, formerly “Liberty Plaza Park” – where the Occupy Wall Street movement has set up headquarters – plan to clean the park. This move, according to the occupiers, is just another effort by the Bloomberg administration to end the protest.

Occupy Wall Street  Released the following:

EMERGENCY CALL TO ACTION: Keep Bloomberg and Kelly From Evicting #OWS
Posted Oct. 13, 2011, 2:14 p.m. EST by OccupyWallSt

EMERGENCY #OWS EVICTION DEFENSE:
Prevent the forcible closure of Occupy Wall Street

Tell Bloomberg: Don’t Foreclose the Occupation.
NEED MASS TURN-OUT, SHOW UP NO LATER THAN 6 A.M.

This is an emergency situation. Please take a minute to read this, and please take action and spread the word far and wide.

Occupy Wall Street is gaining momentum, with occupation actions now happening in cities across the world.

But last night Mayor Bloomberg and the NYPD notified Occupy Wall Street participants about plans to “clean the park”—the site of the Wall Street protests—tomorrow starting at 7am. “Cleaning” was used as a pretext to shut down “Bloombergville” a few months back, and to shut down peaceful occupations elsewhere.

Bloomberg says that the park will be open for public usage following the cleaning, but with a notable caveat: Occupy Wall Street participants must follow the “rules”.
NYPD Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has said that they will move in to clear us and we will not be allowed to take sleeping bags, tarps, personal items or gear back into the park.
This is it—this is their attempt to shut down #OWS for good.

PLEASE TAKE ACTION

1) Call 311 (or +1 (212) NEW-YORK if you’re out of town) and tell Bloomberg to support our right to assemble and to not interfere with #OWS.
2) Come to #OWS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT to defend the occupation from eviction.

For those of you who plan to help us hold our ground—which we hope will be all of you—make sure you understand the possible consequences. Be prepared to not get much sleep. Be prepared for possible arrest. Make sure your items are together and ready to go (or already out of the park.) We are pursuing all possible strategies; this is a message of solidarity.

Click here to learn nonviolent tactics for holding ground.

Occupy Wall Street is committed to keeping the park clean and safe—we even have a Sanitation Working Group whose purpose this is. We are organizing major cleaning operations today and will do so regularly.

If Bloomberg truly cares about sanitation here he should support the installation of portopans and dumpsters. #OWS allies have been working to secure these things to support our efforts.

We know where the real dirt is: on Wall Street. Billionaire Bloomberg is beholden to bankers.

We won’t allow Bloomberg and the NYPD to foreclose our occupation. This is an occupation, not a permitted picnic.

Bill Donohue To Rick Perry – Drop Jeffrees Before The End Of The Week

“Where did they find this guy? When theological differences are demonized by the faithful of any religion – never mind by a clergyman – it makes a mockery of their own religion. [The] Rev. Jeffress is a poster boy for hatred, not Christianity.”

That was  Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League. Donohue was discussing the recent remarks made by Robert Jeffress at last week’s conservative Voters Values Summit, where Jeffress endorsed Rick Perry and buried Romney’s faith, referring to it as “non-christian” and earlier as a “cult!”

Speaking with The Christian Post, Donohue said that he disagreed with Jeffrees comments. “That’s simply an ignorant statement,” Donohue said, “Mormons have been around for a long time, so I wouldn’t consider them a cult any longer.”

When asked who he would vote for if Romney is the Republican nominee, Donohue said he would vote for the person most qualified to lead the nation. He then said he cannot vote for President Obama because of his “abortions-on-demand” stance. He then acknowledge that Romney had the same “abortions-on-demand” beliefs, but confessed that Romney would actually get his vote.

“Romney’s positions on abortions are disturbing to me too, Donohue said, “He supported abortion-on-demand when he was governor of Massachusetts but has now said he changed his position. It is concerning that his mother is a supporter of abortion-on-demand and he has made statements that he would do what his mother tells him to, but I would rather have someone who is willing to change his views on abortion than someone who won’t.”

Asked if Perry could run a successful campaign with the Jeffrees’ endorsement and controversy hanging over his head, Donohue said Perry would have to distance himself from Jeffrees first, and the sooner the better… like, by the end of this week!

Today is better than tomorrow, but if he doesn’t do something by the end of the week – and we are almost there – then I think his campaign will be in serious trouble.

Well it’s Friday, and Perry is still holding on to Jeffrees’ endorsement. We’ll see what happens by days end.

Florida Republican Files Bill To Use Firing Squad On Death Row Inmates

Apparently, following in Rick Perry’s footsteps by killing people through lethal injection is just too slow and burdensome for a Republican Representative  in Florida. Who needs to waste time injecting three different levels of poison in a human being, putting them to sleep and stopping their heart beat, when you can just line them up and shoot?

Well, that’s exactly what the bill Brad Drake proposed will allow done to Death Row prisoners in Florida;

Saying it’s time to stop letting convicted killers “get off that easy,” a Florida state lawmaker wants to use firing squads or the electric chair for those on death row.

Rep. Brad Drake filed a bill this week that would end the use of lethal injection in Florida executions.

Instead, those with a death sentence would choose between electrocution or a firing squad.

Drake, a Republican, said the idea came to him after having a conversation with a constituent at a Waffle House over the legal battles associated with last month’s execution of Manuel Valle .

Valle’s lawyers tried to stop the execution by arguing that a new lethal drug cocktail would cause him pain and constitute cruel and unusual punishment.

So, to stop lawyers from arguing “cruel and unusual punishment,” Drake wants to line ’em up and shoot, or just fry ’em in the electric chair! Yay for morality!

Herman Cain Lied Again – His Economic Adviser Is Not An Economist

So what do we know about Herman Cain’s 999 plan?

  • Well, if you turn it upside down, it magically transforms from 999 to 666 –  the mark of the beast! A fact that was originally tweeted by EzKool over 3 weeks ago, and is now being quoted by Michele Bachmann in the last Republican Presidential debate.
  • We also now know that it is not the price of one of his large pizzas, another fact tweeted by EzKool over a month ago, and was also used by Jon Huntsman in the last Republican Presidential debate.
  • And we know that for some reason, Herman Cain wouldn’t name his economic advisers… well, that was until the last debate where Mr. Cain dropped the name Rich Lowrie of Cleveland as one of his leading economists…

“My advisers come from the American people. Now, I will have some experts. One of my experts that helped me to develop this is a gentleman by the name of Rich Lowrie out of Cleveland, Ohio,” Cain said during the debate. “He is an economist, and he has worked in the business of wealth creation most of his career.”

As it turns out, Rich Lowrie is not an economist.

Herman Cain says his much touted 9-9-9 plan is the product of extensive testing and thinking, but the only man he cites as involved with its research — Rich Lowrie of Cleveland — is not a trained economist.

Instead, Lowrie — who’s the only economic adviser Cain has been willing to mention by name — is a wealth manager for a division of Wells Fargo and according to his LinkedIn page holds an accountancy degree from Case Western Reserve University. Lowrie also spent three years on the advisory board of the conservative third-party group Americans For Prosperity.

We are now back to square one. Herman can’t even tell the truth about who his economic advisers are. It could be Bugs Bunny for all we know.

Occupy Wall Street – Why They Protest. Video

I’m sure by now you’ve heard the criticism by those in the media that Occupy Wall Street have no leader, no point, no focus. The critics all seem to agree that Occupy Wall Street protesters and all the other occupiers nationwide, will be better served if they had one specific goal.

Well the Occupiers heard these unwarranted suggestions from the media, and decided to answer. No, the movement is not about one main goal, it is about the 99% of Americans, and the many injustices we all face.

The Embarrassment That Is Herman Cain

“Speak!”

And with that command from the host of the radio show – Neal Boortz, Herman Cain opened his mouth and did as he was told. Then, the interview started.

The radio interview was conducted a few hours before last night’s Bloomberg Republican debate. After being told to speak, Herman Cain began embarrassing himself and just about everyone else listening.

Just moments into the interview, Cain “joked” about moving up from the “back of the bus” when asked about his sitting position between Romney and Perry at the round table debate. He then agreed with Boortz when he suggested that the Democrats sent Al Sharpton, Cornel West and Harry Belafonte out to “rope” Cain and “bring him back into the corral,” both men knowing that a corral is a place where animals are kept. The implication being that blacks are kept in corrals.

The interview then went to the term “authentic black,” when host Boortz asked the Republican presidential candidate what it meant.  Mr. Cain answered that he did not know what “authentic black” meant, but began talking about his great grand parents being slaves. Boortz  then asked Cain if it was possible his great grand parents belonged to a plantation owned by the Boortz’s family. Cain saw humor in the question and answered that his great grand parents who were slaves, “hung out” in other places in Georgia.

Yes, there were many a times in this interview where Cain successfully embarrassed himself, including when he agreed with Boortz that President Obama didn’t participated in the civil rights movement, both men seemingly oblivious to the fact that the president was born in 1961 and may have been little too young to participate in the famous marches and protests. He had to learn how to walk first.

Then, to top it all off, Herman continued playing his perverted race card,  confirming Boortz’s  suggestion that President Obama doesn’t know about the black experience in America, and was more than happy to continue to pile onto Boortz’s dumb statement.

Judge for yourself from the entire interview below.

Comparing Wall Street Protesters To Wall Street Bankers – Cartoon

A side by side comparison between the Wall Street Occupiers and the Wall Street Bankers. One side is using their freedom of speech to protest greed and corruption, the other side use greed and corruption to destroy our economy.

Which side ends up paying the price?

Mitt Romney Flip Flops On Occupy Wall Street

Yesterday, we pointed out a the hypocrisy that is Eric Cantor. Today, we could call it hypocrisy, but Mitt Romney has invented a special art when it comes to flip-flopping, so we’ll call it Romney’s flip-flop, but it amounts to the same thing… Republican hypocrisy.

The video below speaks for itself, as Ed Shultz of MSNBC pointed out that in a matter of six hours, Romney completely changed his position on the protesters at Occupy Wall Street.

Report: President Obama Modeled “ObamaCare” From “RomneyCare”

In a newly released ad by Rick Perry, Mitt Romney was asked whether he would take the same health care law he enacted in Massachusetts and apply it nationwide. Mitt Romney is heard saying, “Yes,” he will.

Well in newly released documents, it seem Romney got his wish. The documents show that President Obama used Romney’s plan, even employed some of Romney’s people to model the Affordable Health Care program he signed into law over a year ago.

MSNBC reports;

Newly obtained White House records provide fresh details on how senior Obama administration officials used Mitt Romney’s landmark health-care law in Massachusetts as a model for the new federal law, including recruiting some of Romney’s own health care advisers and experts to help craft the act now derided by Republicans as “Obamacare.”

The records, gleaned from White House visitor logs reviewed by NBC News, show that senior White House officials had a dozen meetings in 2009 with three health-care advisers and experts who helped shape the health care reform law signed by Romney in 2006, when the Republican presidential candidate was governor of Massachusetts. One of those meetings, on July 20, 2009, was in the Oval Office and presided over by President Barack Obama, the records show.

“The White House wanted to lean a lot on what we’d done in Massachusetts,” said Jon Gruber, an MIT economist who advised the Romney administration on health care and who attended five meetings at the Obama White House in 2009, including the meeting with the president. “They really wanted to know how we can take that same approach we used in Massachusetts and turn that into a national model.”

In an apparent move to get the conservative vote, Romney flip flopped saying he would not apply the Massachusetts Health care model nationwide. He now believe that each state should implement their own plan.

If Romney wins, the debates between him and President Obama regarding RomneyCare and ObamaCare should be very interesting.

Byran Fischer Calls Mitt Romney “Tacky, Impolite and Rude!”

Bryan Fischer, the head of the American Family Association, have repeatedly attacked Mitt Romney‘s Mormon religion. Given the opportunity to respond to Fischer’s constant claims about his beliefs, Romney used a small part of his speech at the Values Voters Summit last week to briefly address the situation. Although the Republican presidential hopeful did not call Fischer by name, Fischer came out swinging after hearing what Romney said.

So what did Romney say at the podium that ruffled the feathers of Mr. Fischer?

We should remember that decency and civility are values too. One of the speakers who will follow me today has crossed that line I think. Poisonous language doesn’t advance our cause. It’s never soften a single heart or change a single mind. The blessings of faith carry the responsibility of civil and respectful debate. The task before us is to focus on the conservative beliefs and the values that unite us. Let no agenda narrow our vision or drive us apart.

Bryan Fischer was besides himself. How dear Romney say these things about him? Below is Fischer’s response, as recorded on his radio show;

It was just an odd thing to me, it was just bizarre because I did not think that Mitt Romney would fall for the bait. I mean, the Left was trying to goad him into attacking me and I didn’t think he would do it – I thought he had too much class for that. What he did was completely and utterly lacking in class. It was tacky, it was impolite, it was rude, he insulted his host in the presence of the guests; the host who had made it possible for him to speak to the pro-family community. I just thought he had more class than that.

When I came out into the main lobby outside of the room where we were meeting, I was just besieged by the media, just inundated, enveloped with media. I had never experienced anything like that before and the only reason was because Mitt Romney attacked me. So they wanted to know what I thought about that and I explained that I thought it was pretty tacky, I thought it was unpresidential of him to do that. And they said “when Governor Romney was referring to your ‘poisonous language,’ what was he talking about?’ I said “I have absolutely no idea.”

Jesus used poisonous language. He was the one who referred to the Pharisees as a brood of vipers. I’ve never said that about anyone. I mean, Jesus used far more incendiary and inflammatory language than I have ever used.

No Worries In Bachmann Camp. Everything Is Under Control *wink wink*

The Michele Bachmann campaign has hit a bump in the road… a rather big bump indeed. A bump so big, that the beleaguered congresswoman may not be able to power her herself over it, and the media is taking note.

Appearing on CNN’s State Of The Union, Bachmann was asked about her disappearing acts in recent polls and debates, and if her campaign for the Republican presidential nomination is coming to an end. The candidate saw things differently, denying that her campaign was in any trouble. If fact, listening to Bachmann, you will be lead to believe her campaign is going according to plan;

“I think we are doing a good job getting our message out on job growth and on turning the economy around. That’s what we’re working on.

We’re not focusing on the day-to-day. Because as you have seen with many of the other candidates, candidates go up, candidates go down and what we’re very concerned about is making sure that the message gets out there, because it is not about any one of us, it is about turning the economy around and creating jobs.”

In must be something in the water. The Latest poll released on Monday and conducted by Washington Post/Bloomberg has Bachmann coming in at fifth place. She received a grand total of 4% of respondents wanting her to win.

But have no fear Teaparty fans, everything is under control. Again, Bachmann on State Of The Union:

“We’re just starting a kick-off today of four days here in New Hampshire and we’ve got a wonderful experience in Iowa and we’ve been in South Carolina, Florida, we’ve worked very hard and we have very strong numbers in those states and we’re looking forward to continuing that.”

And at the end of September, Bachmann appeared at the evangelical Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., and likened herself to the “comeback kid.”

“She’s in a position where delusion is presenting itself as the only opportunity, and it exists only in her mind,” said Chris Ingram, a Republican strategist not working for any of the GOP candidates. “Whenever you’re in the position to start referring to yourself as the comeback kid, that’s an acknowledgement that things aren’t going real well.”

Yes folks, everything is under control!
