Now I’m not sure what tests Pat Robertson conducted, or how many Kenyan towels he personally checked for the AIDS virus, but Robertson is going out informing his audience that yes, you can in fact get AIDS from a Kenyan’s towel.
And you thought human beings were the most advanced species.
Robertson was responding to the concerns of a missionary who wanted to travel to Africa to help the people. The person expressed concerns about the present dangers and diseases like ebola, but stated that they are not concerned because they will be doing God’s will. But the person did not want to be presumptuous. They wanted to make sure that they were doing the right thing and not testing God.
Pat Robertson answered, “Not in Kenya. You might get AIDS in Kenya, the people have AIDS. You got to be careful, the towels can have AIDS.”
Republicans. They are past the stage of no return.
Since President Obama took office, Republicans have been on a rampage trying to prove the impossible, that President Obama was born somewhere else, any where else than right here in the good ole US of A!. They even created a name for themselves – The Birthers! And although the President has provided both his short form and long form United States birth certificate – an apparent requirement now that this particular president is in office – these Republicans are still convinced that the birth of the President in the state of Hawaii did not happen.
So on goes the clown car.
One of the brains in the party has taken it upon himself to start a petition to deport the president, my guess is they want to deport him back to the land of his birth – Hawaii!
The 20 page petition was started by Larry Klayman, founder of the conservative group Judicial Watch, the same man who now heads Freedom Watch. Klayman submitted his deportation petition to the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement because, they obviously have nothing better to do with their time than to cater to the willfully ignorant.
Without any proof whatsoever, the Republican brain Klayman argues in his petition that the Birth Certificate the president produced from Hawaii was fake. He also contends that the President’s Social Security number is also fake. Again, no proof necessary, just a petition based on nothing but his words, his hate and his emotional state of mind, (and you thought Republicans had no emotions).
Barack Hussein Obama has relied upon a birth certificate from the State of Hawaii which is clearly a forgery — that is, not a valid birth certificate — and indeed also a rather sloppy forgery with easily-detected, unmistakable errors and defects.
It is a fair inference that Barack Hussein Obama would not have relied throughout his life upon a forged birth certificate if a genuine birth certificate showing a live birth in U.S. territory existed. No one would present a birth certificate that document analysis exposes to be a forgery if they could just as easily present their actual, genuine birth certificate. As a result, claims that an undisclosed birth certificate exists and a more recent document must face serious credibility questions as to why a forgery was being used — a crime and document fraud under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA) — unnecessarily…
The irony is, these Birther folks calling for the President’s deportation, are the same ones who will happily cast their vote for Ted Cruz. Cruz, a potential Republican presidential candidate for the 2016 election, was actually born in Calgary Canada. That is another country, and is listed on his birth certificate as his place of birth. But Republicans consider Cruz okay because, he’s a Republican and although he is of minority descent, he looks the part. His color is passable.
Yep! These Republicans have passed the point of no return indeed!
MSNBC host Joy Reid brought on another MSNBC host, Chris Jansing on her show to discuss the U.S.-African Leaders Summit and the importance of the summit being successful under President Obama’s watch. Reid went to Jennings and asked for her input on the success of that Summit and I’m sure she was shocked by Jensing’s Teaparty/Birther answer.
“And the fact that he’s from Kenya,” Jansing said. She continued, “and the fact that when he was elected there were great expectations from Africa continent that he would do great things for them…”
Malik Obama, the step-brother of U.S. President Barack Obama, said he will run for governor of the western Kenyan county of Siaya, where he may face a sibling of Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Obama, 54, will compete as an independent candidate during the March 4 national elections, he told a public gathering yesterday in Kogelo, about 310 kilometers (193 miles) west of the capital, Nairobi. Obama, who shares the same father as the U.S. president, said he will use his relationship with his half- brother to address issues such as poverty and unemployment.
“Siaya county is facing a lot of problems from poor infrastructure to poverty due to bad leadership,” he said. “I will change this if elected.”
Donald Trump dropped his “big” breaking news yesterday, saying that he would donate $5 million dollars to a charity of President Obama’s choice if Mr. Obama shows his college papers and passport. A foolish gesture indeed and one not worthy of a response from the President of the United States.
But on last night’s appearance on The Jay Leno show, the President mocked the donald’s proposal, saying;
“This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya. We had constant run-ins on the soccer field… He wasn’t very good and resented it. … When we finally moved to America I thought it would be over.”
The crazy woman who started the whole Birther movement, Orly Taitz, appeared on The Lawrence O’Donnell Show last night. She was given a chance to apologize for the lie she successfully began, convincing almost half of all Republicans into believing that President Obama was born in Kenya, but instead side-stepped the question, creating a showdown between her and O’donnell. And let me just say that my opinion of her as a crazy person is not mine alone, even O’ Donnell admitted to that fact after the interview abruptly ended, saying
“She’s crazy! I invited a crazy person on the show to see, if a crazy person faced with the thing that the crazy person was trying to get for 2 and a half years, could say something responsive, something new to the document that was released today. Something she’s never seen in her life. And she wants to play with all of her other kids toys, all of her other crazy documents.”
Well Lawrence, why would you expect anything else from a crazy person? She’s crazy for crying out loud!
This case is closed. CNN has done what many other organizations have done, and they have found the same answer – that President Obama was in fact, born in Hawaii. The Birthers must be crazy!
The revelation, although everyone with a brain knew it to be true, must have come as a shock to the Birther community. The group, presented by every conceivable form of proof legally available, maintains that they know for a fact, that the president was born in Kenya. What proof do they have? …….um, well they’re still working on that.
So CNN has joined the long list of reputable news organizations to debunk this conspiracy. Is this going to make a difference to the Birthers? Nope. No one ever accused them of wanting anything to do with facts!
Gail Collins wrote an article back on April 2nd calledDonald Trump Gets Weirder, in which – among other things – she referred to Birther Donald Trump as a Birther. Mr. Birther Trump found this reference offensive, or as he wrote in his birther response, “very derogatory.” The Birther then tried to justify his beliefs–no facts required– that President Obama was born in Kenya.
We now present the facts, as a birther sees them;
To the Editor:
Re “Donald Trump Gets Weirder,” by Gail Collins (column, April 2):
Even before Gail Collins was with the New York Times, she has written nasty and derogatory articles about me. Actually, I have great respect for Ms. Collins in that she has survived so long with so little talent. Her storytelling ability and word usage (coming from me, who has written many bestsellers), is not at a very high level. More importantly, her facts are wrong!
As far as her comments on the so-called “birther” issue, I don’t need Ms. Collins’s advice. There is a very large segment of our society who believe that Barack Obama, indeed, was not born in the United States. His grandmother from Kenya stated, on tape, that he was born in Kenya and she was there to watch the birth. His family in Honolulu is fighting over which hospital in Hawaii he was born in-they just don’t know.
He has not been able to produce a “birth certificate” but merely a totally unsigned “certificate of live birth”-which is totally different and of very little significance. Unlike a birth certificate, a certificate of live birth is very easy to obtain. Equally of importance, there are no records in Hawaii that a Barack Hussein Obama was born there-no bills, no doctors names, no nurses names, no registrations, no payments, etc. As far as the two notices placed in newspapers, many things could have happened, but some feel the grandparents put an ad in order to show that he was a citizen of the U.S. with all of the benefits thereto. Everybody, after all, and especially then, wanted to be a United States citizen.
The term used by Ms. Collins-“birther”-is very derogatory and is meant in a derogatory way. Had this been George Bush or almost any other President or Presidential aspirant, they would never have been allowed to attain office, or would have been thrown out of office very quickly.
For some reason, the press protects President Obama beyond anything or anyone I have ever seen. What they don’t realize is that if he was not born in the United States, they would have uncovered the greatest “scam” in the history of our country. In other words, they would become the hottest writer since Watergate, or beyond.
Open your eyes, Gail, there’s at least a good chance that Barack Hussein Obama has made mincemeat out of our great and cherished Constitution!
DONALD J. TRUMP
New York, April 7, 2011
So there you have it. All the facts needed to prove that the President of these United States was actually born in Kenya. No more questions need to be asked, no more proof necessary. If Mr. Birther Trump says so, then so it is.
I wonder if Birther Trump seen this video explaining “The Event!”?
President Bill Clinton, one of the 43 previous men who carried the banner of President of the United States, who was never accused of being born anywhere else other than the US during his tenure, expressed his displeasure of criticism, by some, of the 44th man to carry the torch – President Barack Obama. One criticism that Mr. Clinton referred to, was the suggestion that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya. Mr. Clinton calls this “ludicrous.”
“If I were them, I’d be really careful riding that birther horse too much. Everyone knows it’s ludicrous.”
Appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America, the ex President then suggests to Bianna Golodgrya the reason why President Obama is not giving in to the wishes of the Birthers, by putting out a version of his birth certificate to satisfy their needs, instead of the version his native Hawaii government allows:
“I think one of the elementary rules of combat is you don’t want to get in your opponent’s way if he’s shooting himself in the foot.”
If you’re a Birther or believe in the Birther Theory, then you’ll believe this video that shows how in 1960, the Kenyan government formulated a plan to get Barack Obama elected as President of the United States in an attempt to turn America into a Muslim, socialist society. This is the story you’re running with?
Alright then–for all you non-believers who want to convince the rest of America that;
Hawaii is not part of the United States and is also part of the plot by producing that phony official “birth document” that the government claims is issued for all Hawaiians births,
Obama was not raised by his American white mother and later by her parents after she died but rather by a Muslim terrorist training camp in Kenya,
Obama’s father–and possibly his grandfather –were members of the Mau Mau Rebellion looking to destroy English rule in Kenya,
The President is not a Christian but in fact a Muslim secret agent preparing to indoctrinate this country’s government under Sharia Law, even though all the proof to the contrary has been available to you on record–
Then this video should provide you with all the counter-proof you’ll need to further dispute this asinine theory until at least 2012 elections roll around when you can oust the infidel now residing in the Oval Office, the 44th President of the United States and the first African-American to be elected in this otherwise ever-enlightening nation, President Barack Hussein Obama.
Can anyone not be disgusted and disappointed by the constant political distractions of the birthers and their baseless accusations against the President’s citizenship? Now imagine if you had first hand knowledge of the president’s birth in Hawaii, and were friends with his parents, imagine your disgust and disappointment with the birthers then!
That best describes the sentiment of the new govornor of Hawaii, Gov. Neil Abercrombie. In an interview with The New York Times, the Democratic governor says;
“It’s an insult to his mother and to his father, and I knew his mother and father; they were my friends, and I have an emotional interest in that. It’s an emotional insult. It is disrespectful to the president; it is disrespectful to the office.”
The group insists that President Obama is not a legitimate president, because one of the criteria for the presidency, as per the constitution, was not met by Mr. Obama. The requirements are:
president must be a natural-born citizen of the United States
be at least 35-years-old
been a permanent resident of the U.S. for at least 14 years
Two separate fact checking groups, Politifacts and FactCheck.org have checked the Birther’s claims, and found that they are all nuts. Well, not that they’re nuts, but the two groups found no evidence that the president was born in Kenya, as is claimed by these Birthers. In fact, they have checked and verified the authenticity of the President’s birth certificate.
In another attempt to beat these birthers in the head with even more facts, Govenor Abercombie is trying to take the verification process a step further. He wants to change the rules in Hawaii in an attempt to put an end to all the noise surrounding the president’s birth certificate. The governor is asking the head of Hawaii’s health department and the state’s Attorney General to release more information for the nay sayers, regarding the President’s August 4, 1961 birth.
But like it was when the president’s certificate of live birth was released by the state’s health department, birthers will still find reason to believe the misinformation intentially implanted in their small brains if Abercombie’s request is granted.
These birthers will not believe Mr. Obama is a citizen, even if they were all standing in the delivery room when the future president was pushed out!
Another marvelous example of a reporter/journalist “keeping them honest.”
Anderson Cooper of CNN‘s 360 has done this before, and is doing it again. He has brought another elected official on his show, and given him a chance to explain his position, or sink trying.
On the program, stamped November 30th, Mr. Cooper brought Texas State Representative, Leo Berman to discuss a bill that Mr. Berman said is needed because “we have a president that the American people don’t know whether he was born in Kenya or some other place.”
The conversation immediately goes into the reasons why Mr. Berman, an elected Representative in Texas believes the President is not a citizen of the United States. And like other times when false views are presented on his show, Anderson Cooper brought the facts and totally shows how dumb this Berman character and his birther believes really are.
Other so-called journalists should take a page from Mr. Anderson and his interview skills. News agencies are more concerned these days with ratings, rather than point out when their guest are wrong on basic issues.
