Will and Jada Smith Being Investigated By Child Protective Services

Only a matter of time. With all the sexually suggestive pictures of the couple’s kids blasting the internet, pictures showing the Smith’s children in somewhat awkward positions with adults, it was like daring Child Protective Services to investigate.

Well, Child Protective Services are investigating.

The Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services has reportedly opened an investigation into an incident involving a controversial photo of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter, Willow Smith, says Radar Online.

“The investigation was formally opened last week and is being taken very seriously by the department,” a source told Radar. “Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been extremely cooperative with officials. Of course, they aren’t happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand.”

20-year-old actor Moises Arias posted an image on Instagram of himself in bed with Willow Smith. Willow Smith can be seen wearing jeans and a shirt in the black and white image while Arias is shirtless with his lower half not fully visible. After he posted the photo, the image cause quite the uproar with many drawing conclusions about the extent of the pair’s relationship. Arias is a family friend of the Smiths and very close friend to Willow’s brother, Jaden Smith.

Jada Pinkett Smith spoke out at photographers at LAX days after the controversy began, telling them that there was nothing provocative about the image and people took the photo out of context.

“Here’s the deal,” Jada Pinkett Smith said on May 7. “There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it. You’re acting like covert pedophiles and that’s not cool.”

According to Radar’s source, social workers will also speak separately with Willow about the incident.

FBI Begins Investigation into Bundy Militia Gunmen

They came armed with pistols, rifles and machine guns and they paraded about town as if they were filming a scene for a movie about the Wild Wild West.

Their goal was simple – do whatever they had to do, including putting their women on the front lines so they could be killed when the shooting began – all to make sure Cliven Bundy continued breaking the law.

Well an investigation has begun, and these militia members could soon realize that this is not a movie about the Wild Wild West, but a land of rules and laws.

Las Vegas TV station KLAS reported Thursday that the FBI has begun interviewing Clark County sheriff’s officials in what the news station describes as a “formal investigation into alleged death threats, intimidation and possible weapons violations” on the part of the Bundy militia.

Sheriff Doug Gillespie confirmed to KLAS that FBI agents asked him whether he saw Bundy supporters point guns at metro police officers during last month’s showdown, but declined to share what he told the agents.

Federal authorities with the Bureau of Land Management ended their round-up of Bundy’s cattle on April 12 over safety concerns. Hundreds of protesters, some armed, had gathered at the site to support the rancher. Those militias continued to maintain an armed presence on roads around Bundy’s ranch well after the federal authorities withdrew.

Christie’s People Clears Christie Of All Wrongdoings in BridgeGate Scandal

The investigation was done by his own people. They found nothing wrong and that’s their final answer.

With his office suddenly engulfed in scandal over lane closings at the George Washington Bridge, Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey two months ago summoned a pair of top defense lawyers from an elite law firm to the State House and asked them to undertake an extensive review of what had gone wrong.

Now, after 70 interviews and at least $1 million in legal fees to be paid by state taxpayers, that review is set to be released, and according to people with firsthand knowledge of the inquiry, it has uncovered no evidence that the governor was involved in the plotting or directing of the lane closings.

The review is the first of multiple inquiries into a scandal that has jeopardized Mr. Christie’s political future. It will be viewed with intense skepticism, not only because it was commissioned by the governor but also because the firm conducting it, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, has close ties to the Christie administration and the firm’s lawyers were unable to interview three principal players in the shutdowns, including Bridget Anne Kelly, the governor’s former deputy chief of staff.

Investigation Finds President Obama Was Born In Hawaii

This case is closed. CNN has done what many other organizations have done, and they have found the same answer – that President Obama was in fact, born in Hawaii. The Birthers must be crazy!

The revelation, although everyone with a brain knew it to be true, must have come as a shock to the Birther community. The group, presented by every conceivable form of proof legally available, maintains that they know for a fact, that the president was born in Kenya. What proof do they have? …….um, well they’re still working on that.

So CNN has joined the long list of reputable news organizations to debunk this conspiracy. Is this going to make a difference to the Birthers? Nope. No one ever accused them of wanting anything to do with facts!

Presenting part 1 of CNN’s investigation.

Wisconsin’s Governor To Be Investigated For Violating State Law

Seems dismantling the unions of Wisconsin is not the only thing giving Governor Scott Walker a headache these days. CREW – Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a non-partisan watchdog group – has ordered an investigation of  Mr. Walker’s use of state troopers to visit the home of Democratic Senate Leader, Mitt Miller.

According to CREW;

Today, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a  non-partisan government watchdog group, asked the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board to investigate whether Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker violated state law by sending the Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) to the home of Democratic Senate Leader Matt Miller. CREW also submitted open records requests to the Office of the Governor, Office of the Senate Majority Leader and the WSP seeking records regarding the use of the troopers.

“Governor Walker has many tools at his disposal to fight the state’s public employees, but using troopers to track down a political opponent crosses the line,” said CREW Executive Director Melanie Sloan. Sloan continued, “The governor’s conduct is especially egregious in light of a Wisconsin law specifically barring troopers from taking part in any dispute between an employer and employee over wages, hours, labor, or working conditions — the subject of the governor’s bill.”

I guess paying attention to existing laws to protect American citizens is not Scott Walker’s strong point. Trying to dismantle them seems to be what he’s more concerned about.
