Birds Of A Feather Flock Together – Cain May Endorse Newt

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Herman Cain recently “suspended” his presidential ambitions because of allegations of sexual misconduct from various women. And Newt Gingrich is a known womanizer, cheating on his first two wives, even serving one of them divorce papers while she laid in a hospital bed battling cancer.

So is it any surprise that Herman Cain may endorse Newt Gingrich? Nope. It is expected.

A top adviser to Herman Cain says the former presidential candidate plans to endorse one of his ex-rivals, most likely New Gingrich, this month in order to have an impact before the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 3.

“He wants to play ‘who to endorse’ for a while,” said the adviser, who spoke on condition of anonymity in order to speak bluntly. “Then he’ll probably be endorsing somebody in a couple weeks — before the caucuses…. I’d say he’s going to endorse Newt Gingrich,” the adviser said.

Five women with Cain and three with Gingrich. Eight women between these two men. Yep, keep an eye on these two birds!

Herman Cain Drops Out – “It Hurts My Wife, It Hurts My Family, It Hurts Me”

Herman Cain went on television today, hand in hand with his wife Gloria. He stood on a stage and talked about the reason he decided to run for president in the first place, which was  “…because the people in Washington refused to do their jobs.”

Cain began his speech by dropping one-liners that got his supporters cheering. One-liners like “people are  more powerful than the media and message is more powerful than money.” And it was these type of statements that gave viewers the initial impression that Herman was about to announce the continuation of his candidacy.

Then Herman he dropped the bomb.

“I’ve made mistakes in life, everyone has.” Cain said, as he began laying out the disappointing path for his supporters. He called the four recent sexual harassment claims against him, and his 13 year extra-marital relationship “false and untrue accusations,” saying that  “false and untrue allegation continues to be spin in the media and the court of public opinion.”

Mr. Cain continued…

“That spin hurts. It hurts my wife, it hurts my family, it hurts me and it hurts the american people because you’ve been denied solutions.”

It hurts because my wife, my family and I…, we know that these false accusations are not true.

And, “I am at peace with my God. I am at peace with my wife”,  this followed by the crowd  chanting “Gloria!, Gloria!”, “…and she is at peace with me. And I am at peace with my family and I am at peace with myself.”

“As of today, with a lot of prayer and soul-searching, I am suspending my presidential campaign. I am suspending my presidential campaign because of the continued distraction, because of the continued hurt to me and my family.”

But like we all suspected, Herman Cain’s candidacy was never about winning the White House. Like Newt Gingrich, Cain was more interested in making money through book sales and donations. So what better way to ensure the continued stream of donations, than launching his new endeavor –  The Cain Solutions, a new website, launched after Herman dropped out of the race, where visitors to the site can continue donating to the Cain Train wreck.

Huntsman – Romney Is In The Hip Pocket Of Wall Street

Anyone who is in the hip pocket of Wall Street because of all the donations they are picking up, like Mr. Romney, is in these days not going to be the change agent who is going to fix the too-big-to-fail banking system.” Per MSNBC,  Huntsman’s comments were delivered to an audience of about 80 people.

Huntsman went even further in his attack on Romney. Presumably referring in part to endorsements that Romney has received from Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) and Congressman Charlie Bass (R-N.H.), Huntsman said, “You should be wary of any candidate who carries the endorsements of every member of Congress, because it means they’re going to be a status quo president.”

And I totally agree with you Jon Huntsman. Being in the hip pocket of Wall Street is about the only thing consistent with Mitt Romney.

Where Are Mitt Romney’s Government Records In Massachusetts? – Destroyed

While calling for more transparency from the Obama Administration, Mitt Romney – the sure thing to eventually win the Republican nomination for the 2012 presidential election – just about admitted today in an interview that he had his campaign workers  destroy emails and other records from his time as governor in Massachusetts. The idea was to keep his political opponents from knowing how he governed. Y’ know… “transparency.”

They even went as far as buying back old hard-drives from the computers used in his administration.

Romney and his campaign have so far denied this, with the candidate saying this weekend in New Hampshire that his staff took the highly unusual step of purchasing their work hard drives because they might contain “confidential and private” information…

But in a fairly stunning admission today during an interview with the editorial board of the Nashua Telegraph in New Hampshire, Romney suggested that his administration deleted emails because they didn’t want “opposition research teams” to have access to them.

In the interview, Romney said, “…well, I think in government we should follow the law. And there has never been an administration that has provided to the opposition research team, or to the public, electronic communications. So ours would have been the first.”

Teaparty To Bachmann – It’s Time For You To Go!

Michele Bachmann has worn out her welcome among her most loyal supporters – the Teaparty movement. She never had the support of the regular, normal thinking American, and now that President of the Teaparty group The American Majority Ned Ryun wrote, “It’s time for Michele Bachmann to go,” her already dead campaign just died again.

American Majority explains their reasons for burying Bachmann’s campaign, saying that although the congresswoman is the most vocal for the Teaparty movement and although she is the self-appointed leader of the Teaparty caucus in the House of Representatives, “she is a back-bencher!”

“I think it’s pretty obvious that Michele Bachmann is about Michele Bachmann… ”

“Let’s face it: she’s a back-bencher and has been a back bencher congressperson for years… This is not a serious presidential campaign.”

The group also accused Bachmann of trying to solidify her base now to get support for her new book. The group calls this obvious move by Bachmann, “a rightward shift,” saying, “(it) will come as the campaign works to hold on to its more conservative base of support in advance of the release of Bachmann’s new book next month.”

Surprise, Surprise!

Of course, Bachmann wouldn’t be Bachmann if she couldn’t find a conspiracy in this Teaparty message. She accused fellow Republican presidential hopeful Rick Perry of being the originator of the message. Bachmann told CNN, “If Gov. Perry has something to say to me, he can come out to the debates and say it. But this is egg on the face unfortunately for the Perry campaign.”

The Picture Mitt Romney Doesn’t Want You To See

This cannot be the image the Romney campaign wants the voters to see, so that’s why we’re showing it.

LOL.

Here we find the multi-million dollar Republican presidential candidate, from his time at Bain Capital. Romney is doing what Romney does best, no, not flip-flopping, but basking in the royal favor of his Wall Street buddies. And what could be better than having them stuff your pockets with cold hard cash!

No wonder Wall Street is giddy with excitement over the idea of a Romney presidency

Poor Rick Perry – His Son Lost His Job Because Of President Obama

Excuse me while I pass the tissues around. We’re all collectively crying for Rick Perry and his unfortunate family, as they suffer the consequences of the Obama Administration.

According to Anita Perry, Rick’s wife, her poor banker son lost his job because of President Obama’s regulations. So yes, the Perrys are just like us. They have first-hand experience of what if feels like to suffer from the effects of this wretched economy.

At a campaign stop for her husband in South Carolina, Mrs. Perry spoke with a voter, sharing his story about losing his job. Mrs. Perry, who couldn’t wait to tell the world about how terrible the Obama Administration is, and how all the regulations on corporations are causing so many others to lose their jobs as well, jumped in with her story;

“My son lost his job because of this administration,” she said.

Except for one thing…

Seems the young Perry – his name is Griffin btw – contrary to what Anita implies, didn’t actually lose his job at Deutsche Bank. He quit, but because he wanted to help his poor poor dad on the campaign trail. You see, Griffin’s dad is running for President.

Anita goes on explaining her son’s plight,

“He resigned his job two weeks ago because he can’t go out and campaign with his father because of SEC regulations,” she said. “He has a wife… he’s trying to start a business. So I can empathize.”

Yes, she empathizes…!

I remember when my dad was running for president I too had to quit my job…. oh wait… wrong lifetime.

With a show of hands –  how many of the millions of unemployed in the audience quit their high-paying corporate job to help their dad run for President? Hmmm…I’m not seeing any hands.

Yes, the Perrys are suffering just like us, and it’s all Obama’s fault!

Michele Bachmann – Missing In Action For The Month Of September

John McCain couldn’t walk and chew gum at the same time and apparently, neither could Michele Bachmann. Consumed with her presidential desire, Bachmann has been missing in action for the entire month of September, deciding not to do her primary job of representing the people of Minnesota.

After Standard and Poor’s downgraded the U.S. credit rating in August, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) called for Congress to return immediately from its recess to restore the nation’s AAA rating.

But when lawmakers eventually returned to Washington in September, Bachmann did not.

The House held 60 votes during the month of September, and the Minnesota Republican missed them all.

Bachmann spent the month on the presidential campaign trail, where she sought to build on her August victory in the influential Iowa straw poll. She tried to attend President Obama’s address to a joint session of Congress on Sept. 8, but weather delays caused her to miss the speech.

The people of Minnesota should definitely have something to say about this. This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase taxation without representation.

Michele Bachmann Campaign Running On Fumes

And we are not talking about the exhaust fumes Sarah Palin likes to smell either. No, Michele Bachmann’s campaign is so broke, they can’t even pay attention…

Okay, okay…, back to the facts.

The New York Post reports;

Insiders are whispering that the Tea Party darling’s financials are grim and she may be out of the race before she makes it to the Iowa caucus in February, even though she has a strong base in the state. Sources tell us say Bachmann’s skeletal staff are holding their collective breath until the deadline to disclose her fundraising report on Oct. 15.

Meanwhile, we hear a computer vendor has called her campaign headquarters threatening to shut down the power due to an outstanding bill. Sources say she had about $400,000 at the beginning of September, but also stacks of bills.

“She does not like to ask for money. She should have been focusing on big donors about three months ago,” a source said. “She’s only cultivated low dollar donors with direct mailings and that’s hurt her.” But at a rally in Virginia yesterday, Bachmann declared that she does not intend to back out of the race. “We intend to be the comeback kid in this race,” she said. Her rep said, “None of that is true.”

Michele Bachmann’s Migraines Leaves Her “Incapacitated.”

On Monday, The Daily Caller filed a report claiming that Michele Bachmann suffers from severe migraine headaches that have led to hospitalizations in the past, and leaving her “incapacitated.”  The online publication did not list their source for the information, but apparently, there are some truths to the report, as Bachmann herself rushed to set the record straight.

She did not deny the story, but said in a statement, “let me be abundantly clear – my ability to function effectively has never been impeded by migraines and will not affect my ability to serve as commander-in-chief.”

The report from The Daily Caller states,

The Minnesota Republican frequently suffers from stress-induced medical episodes that she has characterized as severe headaches. These episodes, say witnesses, occur once a week on average and can “incapacitate” her for days at time. On at least three occasions, Bachmann has landed in the hospital as a result.

In her statement, Bachmann says that her episodes are easily controlled:  “Like nearly 30 million other Americans, I experience migraines that are easily controlled with medication.”

Bachmann is running neck and neck with Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination to run against President Obama in 2012.

Although it’s unfortunate to hear of Bachmann’s suffering, one has to wonder how she would handle the rigorous demands of the Office of The President, when she can’t handle the two-week-work, one-week-off schedule of the House of Representatives.

Gingrich Campaign Falling Apart

This is a big LOL! moment. The Huffington Post is reporting that Republican Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has a major problem – his campaign staffers are heading for the door in droves.

WASHINGTON — Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich’s campaign manager, senior strategists and key aides in early delegate-selection states all resigned on Thursday, a mass exodus that leaves his hopes of winning the Republican nomination in tatters.

Rick Tyler, Gingrich’s spokesman, said he, campaign manager Rob Johnson and senior strategists had resigned, along with aides in the early primary and caucus states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Other officials said Gingrich was informed that his entire high command was quitting in a meeting earlier in the day. They cited differences over the direction of the campaign but were not more specific.

Maybe they all saw something shiny on the outside and decided to go investigate. How easily they get distracted.

Gingrich said he is determined to continue his campaign. At this rate, he may be doing it all by himself.
