Role Models – This Republican Say “Stand Up to Obama” like Assad and Putin Did

Lee Bright

In the clip below, listen to South Carolina State Senator Lee Bright describe his role models while calling out his party leaders for not being more like dictators Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin, when it comes to opposing our democratically elected president, Barack Obama.

Lee “Bright” is currently running for the US Senate. His opponent is another Republican wingnut, Lindsay Graham. In the audio, “Bright” said;

Republicans need to learn to start playing offense and quit playing so much defense. You look at, of course I hate to use examples, you look at Assad and you look at Putin, when people stand up to Obama, you see that he backs up and his lines in the sand become erased.

If Boehner had the courage that Putin and Assad had, we’d be living in a different America, but we don’t have the leadership and we’ve got to continue to try to get folks to Washington that are going to take the fight to the liberal agenda.

Rand Paul: Dick Cheney Invaded Iraq – Made Millions For His Company – Video

“There’s a great YouTube of Dick Cheney in 1995 defending President Bush #1 and the decision not to invade Baghdad in the first Gulf war, and he goes on for about five minutes. He’s being interviewed, I think, by the American Enterprise Institute, and he says ‘it would be a disaster, it would be vastly expensive, it’d be civil war, we would have no exit strategy.’

“He goes on and on for five minutes. Dick Cheney saying it would be a bad idea. And that’s why the first Bush didn’t go into Baghdad. Dick Cheney then goes to work for Halliburton. Makes hundreds of millions of dollars, their CEO. Next thing you know, he’s back in government and it’s a good idea to go into Iraq.”

Guess who said those words? That’s right, it was Rand Paul. Those words are just part of what the Republican/Libertarian said about his former Republican vice president. Rand Paul, a Republican prospect to run for president in 2016 opened his mouth in the video below and guess what…? The truth jumped out.

The video below was brought to light by Mother Jones.

Paul had more to say about Cheney. See the video below.

Teleka Patrick’s Body Possibly Found in Indiana Lake

The body of Teleka Patrick, a Kalamazoo physician who has been missing since last December, may have been found in a lake in northern Indiana.

Although authorities have yet to positively identify the body, her family confirmed to the local NBC affiliate that they believe it to be Patrick.

“Our family was informed that a body was found that may be our daughter Teleka Patrick. We are waiting for official confirmation from the Kalamazoo Sheriff’s Department and have no comment at this time. Thank you for your continued prayers — we ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time,” they said in a statement.

On December 5th, Dr. Patrick, 30, disappeared after a shift at Borgess Medical Center where she is a resident. Dr. Patrick is a first-year resident in psychotherapy. Her purse and cell phone were found inside the hospital and her credit cards, ID, and keys were found inside of her car found abandoned in a ditch on Interstate 94 in northern Indiana. Homeless Man Gets $37,000 From Bank’s ATM

How does a homeless man get $37,000 from an ATM? You’ll need three things – a bank card, a bank account with at least $100 in it and a whole lot of patience to request $700  cash advances 33 times.

Let me explain.

Lt. Todd Bernard of the South Portland Police Department said Friday morning that officers were first called to the bank branch at 1 a.m. Thursday.

“We got a call that he was sleeping in the [ATM] vestibule, and we had to move him along,” Bernard said. “Then at around 5:30 a.m., we got another call that he was back there and taking an unusually long time at the ATM by a woman who was trying to use it. She thought it seemed suspicious.”

When they arrived a second time, police officers found the same man inside filling a shopping bag with cash from the ATM. Police say he had more than $37,000 in cash in the bag when they arrived.

Bernard said the man, who will not be identified unless charges are filed against him, had an ATM card and about $100 in his account. But he was using the “cash advance” feature on the machine and repeatedly requesting $700.

The ATM obliged an estimated 53 times before police intervened. Bernard said the cash advance option on an ATM is for people who have a pre-approved line of credit with a bank, which the homeless man did not have.

Officers returned the money to the bank.

“It is illegal. He is taking money that doesn’t belong to him, and the bank at this point has elected not to prosecute, although the case is still under investigation,” Bernard said. “That ATM has been taken out of service and is being checked out to determine why it malfunctioned.”

Once Again It’s On – The Jay Z Medallion Controversy

The first time he was spotted with the medallion, they said he hated white people. The medallion it seems, represents the ‘Five-Percent Nation’ – a fraction of The Nation of Islam that believes that black men are superior beings, Gods, creators of the universe.

Well a year later, Jay was seen at a Nets game, sporting the same medallion and again, the controversy is in full effect.

This is how the New York Post began their reporting on Jay’s wardrobe.

Black people are the fathers and mothers of civilization, white men are the devil, the Christian god is nothing more than a ghost and only a small percentage of people understand the world.

These are just some of the beliefs behind the bling — the gaudy Five Percent Nation medallions worn by Jay Z and Carmelo Anthony.

And here I am, thinking he was a ranking member of the Illuminati.

#GunsUp – Two Year Old Toddler Kills 11 Year Old Sister

And here’s another story to prove that we love the guns and apparently hate the children.

An 11-year-old girl was killed by a 2 year-old in Philadelphia Saturday after the children were left unsupervised with a gun in the room.

The children were playing in a bedroom when the toddler pointed the cocked handgun at his sister Jamara Stevens and fired, hitting her in the arm around 10 a.m. Saturday, police told NBC10 Philadelphia.

The bullet traveled through the girl chest and struck her heart, police said. She was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead, the station reported. The little boy was found with a burn and traces of gun powder on his arm.

Tiffany Goldwire was in the home with her four children, ages 14, 11, 7 and 2, the station reported.

Police believe her boyfriend came over and brought the gun, which was left with the children in the room when she went to the bathroom, according to NBC10.

No charges were filed Saturday. Police did not immediately return a message Sunday for an update.

White House Considering Ending Selfies With The President

You can thank Samsung for this one. Because of the mini controversy that erupted when the selfie above was taken, the White House is now considering a ban on all selfies with the president.

Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz took the selfie with Obama Tuesday during the team’s visit to the White House. The pic appeared spontaneous at the moment, but it was revealed a day later that the act, taken with Ortiz’s Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone, was actually a public relations stunt orchestrated by the Korean telecom conglomerate.

“Maybe this will be the end of all selfies,” White House Senior Adviser Dan Pfeiffer said about the incident Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “(Obama) obviously didn’t know anything about Samsung’s connection to this.”

“Someone who uses the President’s likeness to promote a product… that’s a problem with the White House,” Pfeiffer added. “We’ve had conversations with Samsung about this and have expressed our concerns.”

How to Make a Republican Stop Talking About Obamacare? John Fugelsang Demonstrates

Now, I cannot promise that following Fugelsang’s example would stop the Republican from talking about Obamacare for ever, but at least it will shut them up for a little while.

John Fugelsang joined Republican fast talker Heidi Harris on the Ed Schultz Show to discussed the fantastic numbers who signed up for healthcare through Obamacare. After hearing “Mrs Harris” spit out the usual talking points as proof that the 7.1 million signups were fake, it was Fugelsang’s turn and needless to say, the facts from Fugelsang outweighed the talking points from Miss Harris.

“The interesting thing here about this is that this is a Republican designed healthcare plan by the Heritage Foundation,” Fugelsang said. “Implemented by a Republican Massachusetts governor, upheld by a Republican Supreme Court. And these guys need it to fail before it can start helping save Republican lives. If the GOP had been behind healthcare reform, if they cared enough, if they valued saving lives over here over blowing up people over there, we might not see this happen. We might see a real public option, real reform, instead of this moderate messy improvement that Obamacare is. I often wish that the GOP had been this concerned about fact checking back in the WMD days. Millions of Americans are now insured.

“Tune into Hannity to see why this is bad.”

SNL Spoofs Fox And Friend or Fox and Friends Spoof SNL – Video

This was a very simple task for Saturday Night Live – a parody of Fox’s Fox and Friends. Why was it a simple task you asked? Because Fox and Friends itself is a parody and anyone wishing to make a joke out of the Fox show already had most of the material written. They just had to come up with the actors.

In this skit, the Fox and Friends characters were really actors from Saturday Night Live, unlike the real actors playing the role on Fox. Get it? Watch as the actors talk about Obamacare, President Obama and their interview Neil deGrasse Tyson.

I bet you can’t tell the difference between the real Fox and Friends actors and the pretend actors of SNL.
