TMZ is reporting that a lawsuit has been filed by the 21-year old’s mother, naming Jay Z as the daddy!
According to the suit, Jay hooked up with the boy’s mother before he was famous and way before Beyoncé came into the picture. The claim also say that Jay Z has previously submitted fraudulent information to the court. No information was provided on what this fraudulent information was, but there are reports that Jay is refusing to take a paternity test.
Maybe this release was timed to take the focus away from another video showing Jay Z being beaten in an elevator by his sister-in-law Solange, who knows?
What we do know however, is that this video/movie will never be released.
In an exclusive statement to The Associated Press, Jay Z, Beyonce and apparently Solange, have all agreed to put the infamous elevator incident behind them and move on.
“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” the statement said. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
The statement continued;
“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continued. “At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
The first casualty of the Jay Z, Beyonce, Solange Knowles incident has now been announced. According to reports, the hotel employee who released the video showing Jay Z getting his assets punched, kicked and scratched to TMZ has been fired.
According to the hotel, the person was fired for “breaching the security polices of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video.”
Celebrity website TMZ shared the video on Monday, which appears to be from the night of the Met Gala and shows Solange attacking Jay Z while Beyoncé watches. There is no audio, but many theories have been floated for why the fight happened.
The Standard Hotel said after the video aired Monday that it was “shocked and disappointed.” On Wednesday, the hotel added that it would turn over “all available information to criminal authorities.”
Neither Jay Z, Beyoncé, or Solange have publicly commented on the video, but Beyoncé posted a slew of Instagram photos with her and her sister showing affection for one another.
Boy, something must have really pissed off Beyoncé’s sister. As soon as the elevator door closed, the 27-year old Solange lunged at Jay Z, swinging legs, arms, fists and feet at her 44-year-old billionaire brother-in-law. The entire episode was caught on surveillance camera as the group left the Met Gala after party in New York last Monday.
As the younger sister of Beyoncé is finally restrained, Beyoncé is seen standing next to her battered husband while Solange continued trying to get more of the Jay!
The group finally exits the elevator, Jay Z captured holding the side of his face.
Is “The Married Carters’ Holy Grail” tour coming to a city near you? Well, if God so loved the world, then yes. Yes, it is.
According to Page Six, Mr. and Mrs. Carter will be hitting the road together, and baby Blue is coming along for the ride. The hip-hop power couple is reportedly scheduled to embark on a 20-stadium tour in June, before closing out their quick run in July.
Together, Beyonce and Jay Z have more than a half-dozen collaborative songs together, including Beyonce’s smoking hot “Drunk In Love.” Both Jay Z and Beyonce are fresh off their own solo tours. While Jay Z’s “Magna Carter” tour ended in January, Beyonce’s “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” recently ended in March
The first time he was spotted with the medallion, they said he hated white people. The medallion it seems, represents the ‘Five-Percent Nation’ – a fraction of The Nation of Islam that believes that black men are superior beings, Gods, creators of the universe.
Well a year later, Jay was seen at a Nets game, sporting the same medallion and again, the controversy is in full effect.
This is how the New York Post began their reporting on Jay’s wardrobe.
Black people are the fathers and mothers of civilization, white men are the devil, the Christian god is nothing more than a ghost and only a small percentage of people understand the world.
These are just some of the beliefs behind the bling — the gaudy Five Percent Nation medallions worn by Jay Z and Carmelo Anthony.
And here I am, thinking he was a ranking member of the Illuminati.
Cold: Denitra Green allegedly drove away as her cohort stole Jay Z tickets from a seller they’d connected through on Craigslist. The seller clung to their car and was dragged, disfigured and then run over
A Houston man was disfigured and nearly killed when the women he was selling Jay Z tickets to sped away as he leaned into their car, leaving him clinging desperately to the door handle.
The unnamed victim begged Denitra Green and Cessica Darden, both 20, to stop the car but police say Green continued speeding away while Darden kicked at his hands in an attempt to get him to fall off.
As Darden’s baby sat in the backseat, Green continued to drive after the car ran over the man’s nearly lifeless body.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Darden had told the victim they’d need to meet in a parking lot, with her in the car, because she was unable to leave her young child.
Court documents indicate that the man held on to the speeding vehicle at the back seat, right beside where Darden’s child sat.
‘[Darden] kicked his arm so hard, they broke it,’ the victim’s attorney Andino Reynal told KTRK. ‘It was a clean break. He’s going to have to have surgery. When the arm broke, he came off the car and the car ran over his legs.’
The man broke a leg, an arm, tore a knee cap, and suffered disfiguring facial wounds.
‘He was begging them and instead of stopping, they drove faster,’ Reynal said.
He will in all likelihood live out his life with diminished use of his right hand and one of his legs.
The man remained in the hospital Thursday in the wake of the devastating December 15 incident and faces plastic surgeries and the possibility of never regaining the use of some fingers thanks to extensive broken bones and horrific road rash.
Horrific: The unidentified victim will require plastic surgery and may never fully regain the use of his right hand or one of his legs. He suffered a broken arm, leg, and horrible road rash on his face
Horrified witnesses gave the police the car’s license plate number.
The victim was also able to provide the contact information the women had used leading up to their meeting.
But they were led to the suspects by way of something far more shocking: police went to the December 19 concert and found them in seats matching those for which the victim had been selling tickets on Craigslist.
The witnesses and victim would later identify Green in a lineup. She was then arrested.
Police said the women admitted to the crime and showed no remorse even after being shown pictures of the grisly injuries they allegedly caused the man.
Green has now made her $30,000 bond. As of Thursday evening, Darden remained at large.
Scene: The victim told police that Darden wanted to meet him while inside the car at this Houston Starbucks because she had her baby with her
Jay Z’s most mentioned brand is Mercedes Benz, though he also holds a candle for Lexuses, Maybachs, BMWs, Bentleys, Range Rovers, and Porsches (in that order). In terms of designer labels, his change in taste over the years is apparent: His love of Gucci remains restrained but consistent, he was forced to take a hiatus from Versace during its shaky early-aught designs, and his new favorite designer—mentioned for the first time, nine times on his latest album—is Tom Ford. Also, in case you are one of the many people who enjoy Jay Z’s music but are unfamiliar with the 9-mm handgun market, Glock and Kel-Tec are gun brands.
Most obvious is Jay Z’s love-hate relationship with luxury champagne brand Cristal. The beverage is practically worshipped in most of his songs up until Cristal’s infamous snub to the hip-hop community in 2006. From then on the rapper name-dropped the bubbly only to remind us it’s “racist.”
But enough from us—take a look for yourself. Below, the luxury-filled life of Jay Z, charted.
Speaking off-the-cuff, without prepared remarks at Wednesday’s March on Washington 50th anniversary event, actor Jamie Foxx called on his peers in the entertainment industry to pick up where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other civil rights leaders left off. Foxx said it was up to him, “Will Smith, Jay Z, Kanye, Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington” and others to continue the struggle for equality.”
“I will tell you right now that everybody my age and all the entertainers, it is time for us to stand up and renew this dream,” Foxx began. He said he as “affected” and inspired to action by the Trayvon Martin case and the Newtown shooting and urged others to join him in speaking out.
Foxx told a story about a dinner he had with the legendary Harry Belafonte–complete with an expert impression of the singer’s voice–and his 19-year-old daughter. When Belafonte reflected on marching with “Al, Jesse and Martin” he and his daughter did not at first know he was referring to Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King.
“What we need to do now is the young folks pick it up now,” Foxx told the crowd, “so that when we’re 87 years old, talking to the young folks, we can say it was me, Will Smith, Jay Z, Kanye, Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington, the list goes on and on.”
A number of top-level celebrities are reportedly following in Stevie Wonder’s footsteps and plan to boycott Florida in protest of the state’s “Stand Your Ground” laws. The list, which was first reported by AURN’s April Ryan and credited a “a source close to Wonder,” includes the likes of Madonna, Usher, Kanye West, Jay Z, Rihanna and Rod Stewart.
Wonder announced his intention to boycott any state with “Stand Your Ground” laws after George Zimmerman after a jury acquitted George Zimmerman in the 2012 killing of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman did not invoke the “Stand Your Ground” defense in the trial, though it did figure into the police’s decision not to not arrest Zimmerman for weeks after the incident. Additionally, the “Stand Your Ground” defense appeared in instructions to jurors, and a juror cited the law in explaining the not-guilty verdict.
“I decided today that until the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again,” Wonder said at a concert in Quebec City. “As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world
