Donald Trump – “I Don’t Know” If Ted Cruz is a Natural Born Citizen – Video

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was asked straight up about his closest competitor, Ted Cruz, and whether he thought Cruz – who was born in Calgary Canada – is a Natural Born citizen. Trump for a change, answered honestly.

“I don’t know,” Donald Trump answered, when the question – do you have any doubts that Ted Cruz is a natural born American citizen – was posed by Fox News’ Chris Wallace.

“I really don’t know. It depends. Does “Natural Born” mean born to the land? Meaning born on the land? In that case, he’s not. But nobody knows what it means. And it hasn’t been adjudicated. And it hasn’t gone to the Supreme Court.”

Trump concluded by saying that if Ted Cruz is the Republican nominee, he will have a “lawsuit over his head” from the Democratic contender.

Alan Grayson already has a lawsuit lined up and waiting just in case Cruz is the Republican nominee.

No, Ted Cruz’s “Natural Birth” Status is Not Settled Law – Video

Seems to me there’s too much controversy surrounding Ted Cruz’s birth to take his presidential ambitio1n seriously.

Although some may say Cruz, who was born in Canada, is a Natural Born U.S citizen base on a Harvard Law study, a more recent and in depth study from Boston University suggests otherwise.

John McCain – Ted Cruz’s Canadian Birth Might Be an Issue

Canadian born Ted Cruz recently renounced his Canadian citizenship and is now trying to be an American president.

In addition to Donald Trump and others – even some in Cruz’s own Republican party – the questions are swirling. Can someone born in another country be a Natural Born U.S citizen.

John McCain is rightfully questioning how Ted Cruz, who held dual citizenship and thus, considered himself a Canadian a little over a year ago, can now run for president of the United States.

In an interview Wednesday on Phoenix radio station 550 KFYI’s Chris Merill Show, McCain said he “doesn’t know” whether Cruz’s birth in Canada makes him eligible to be president. Cruz, whose father was born in Cuba, asserts that he is a U.S. citizen because his mother was an American.

“I know that came up in my race because I was born in Panama, but I was born in the Canal Zone which is a territory. Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona when it was territory when he ran in 1964,” McCain said.

“That’s different from being born on foreign soil. I think there is a question. I’m not a constitutional scholar on that, but I think it’s worth looking into. I don’t think it’s illegitimate to look into it.”

Asked if the Supreme Court might have to weigh in on the “natural born citizen” issue, McCain said, “It may be, that may be the case.”

Donald Trump’s Spokesperson Brings up Ted Cruz’s Canadian Birth – Video

Yesterday, Donald Trump stated a fact for a change, that Ted Cruz is a Canadian by way of birth who recently renounced his Canadian citizenship when he decided to run for president here in America. And today, Trump’s spokesperson continued the Cruz is a Canadian talk, although she is not fully closing the door on the slight chance that Cruz could legally run for President of the United States.

Donald Trump’s national campaign spokeswoman on Wednesday hinted that the fact that Ted Cruz was born in Canada could hurt his presidential run, despite having previously defended Cruz on the issue.

“There’s a ton of voters who are a little uncomfortable voting for someone outside of the country,” Katrina Pierson told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “And the fact that Sen. Cruz has sort of left this issue off the table for so long has created some of the controversy.”

Donald Trump Goes After Ted Cruz – “He was born in Canada”

Yea, I know. It’s laughable. I don’t care what interpretations some put on it, saying because Cruz was born to an American mother in another country, then he is a Natural Born American citizen. It’s a bogus argument and still extremely debatable. And I for one, don’t buy it. If you were born in Canada, you’re Canadian PERIOD

The only fact in this saga however, remains the same. Ted Cruz was born in Canada, and that fact has not escaped Mr. Birther himself, Donald Trump!

“Republicans are going to have to ask themselves the question: ‘Do we want a candidate who could be tied up in court for two years?’ That’d be a big problem,” Trump said when asked about the topic. “It’d be a very precarious one for Republicans because he’d be running and the courts may take a long time to make a decision. You don’t want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head.”

Trump added: “I’d hate to see something like that get in his way. But a lot of people are talking about it and I know that even some states are looking at it very strongly, the fact that he was born in Canada and he has had a double passport.”

Carly Fiorina says “Obamacare was repealed” #LiesToldToUs – Video

Republican presidential candidate, Carly Fiorina – remember her? She’s one of the borderline floor scrubbers in the Republican polls – is trying to punch upwards, waaaay upwards, trying to hit Ted Cruz – one of the top Republican leaders in the polls. I don’t know why Cruz and Trump are at the top of the Republican list, but they are and Carly has her eyes set on Cruz.

In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Carly placed Cruz squarely in her cross-hairs. When asked if Ted Cruz “would doom the Republicans’ chances in November” because he was responsible to shut down the government, Carly answered that Cruz did what he thought was politically beneficial for him in the government shutdown. And in her answer, Carly dropped the nugget that Obamacare was repealed.

NOTE: Obamacare was not repeal!

“Ted Cruz is just like any other politician,” Fiorina said. “He says one thing in Manhattan, he says another thing in Iowa.”

“He says whatever he needs to say to get elected, and then he’s going to do as he pleases… I think the American people are tired of the political class that promises much and delivers much of the same.”

Ted Cruz Brings Out the Crazies – Steve King and Michele Bachmann Joins Campaign

Ever wonder why Canadian born Ted Cruz is polling high in the Republican presidential nomination process? Well wonder no more.

Ted Cruz has figured out just how crazy the Republican base is. Heck, look at the HUGE support they’ve dropped in the lap of Donald Trump. So with that in mind, Cruz is pandering to the side of the Republican party he can identify with – the crazies. And to pacify their thirst for pure insanity, Cruz is actively campaigning with the likes of Michele Bachmann, Peter King and Louie Gohmert to name a few.

Lawmakers like Reps. Steve King of Iowa and Mo Brooks of Alabama are attending campaign rallies with Cruz…So far, Reps. Jim Bridenstine of Oklahoma, and Louie Gohmert and John Ratcliffe of Texas have been surrogates for Cruz at Republican debates. And Bridenstine recently hosted an event in Tulsa and did an Internet ad for the campaign pushing back against Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s attacks on Cruz’s national security credentials. Other lawmakers who have endorsed Cruz include Texas Reps. Randy Weber, Brian Babin, Michael Burgess and John Culberson. Reps. Jody Hice of Georgia, Sam Graves of Missouri and Dana Rohrabacher of California are also behind Cruz.

Canadian Born Republican Presidential Candidate Tells World America’s Secret – Video

In case you missed the last Republica.n debate, and I won’t hold it against you if you did, Republican candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio got into a heated back and forth to prove how tough they will be against terrorism and immigration. And in the process, Ted Cruz blurted out some info abiut the NSA and data collection that was should have remained classified.

“What [Rubio] knows is that the old program covered 20 percent to 30 percent of phone numbers to search for terrorists,” Cruz said, clearly annoyed that he was being challenged by Rubio. Then he shared this indo. “The new program covers nearly 100 percent. That gives us greater ability to stop acts of terrorism, and he knows that that’s the case.”

Realizing what Cruz had just done on a nationally and internationally televised debate, Marco Rubio quickly interjected.

“Let me be very careful when answering this,” Rubio responded, “because I don’t think national television in front of 15 million people is the place to discuss classified information. So let me just be very clear. There is nothing that we are allowed to do under this bill that we could not do before.”

Ben Carson Goes After Ted Cruz – Cruz “spent his time schmoozing for big money”

Ben Carson was once considered the front-runner in the Republican race for the presidential nomination in 2016, but Carson has seen his support erode, mainly because of a political onslaught of attacks from Donald Trump. Ted Cruz, has no doubt gather up much of Carson’s support and has effectively taken second place behind Trump. Now, Carson is resorting to the politician in him and going after Ted Cruz.

In comparing himself and his work to that of Ted Cruz, Carson argued that unlike Cruz, he spent his life making life-or-death operating calls instead of attending swanky parties and raised campaign cash in an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.

“There’s no question as I haven’t spent a lot of time schmoozing and asking for big money and going to cocktail parties, but I’ve spent many a night in the operating room — cold, sterile place with a little child’s life on the line working very hard to preserve that,” Carson said.

“You know, it’s a very different kind of experience,” he said. “Lots of 2 a.m. in the morning calls and making snap decisions on what needs to be done.”

Of course, Carson’s attack came after The New York Times released audio of Cruz criticizing both Donald Trump and Ben Carson’s ability to be commander-in-chief.

“Who is prepared to be a commander-in-chief?” Cruz says on the audio. ?Who understands the threats we face? Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button? Now that’s a question of strength, but it’s also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for voters.”

Ted Cruz Opens HUGE 10 Point Lead on Trump in Iowa

So Ted Cruz’s decision not to attack Donald Trump is apparently paying off. While Donald wait for Cruz to throw the first punch, Cruz is quietly chipping away at Trump’s inevitability, slowly corroding the banks of Trump’s credence. While Trump cast a blind eye in Cruz’s direction, Cruz is forever nipping at Trump’s heels.

Ted Cruz has soared ahead of Donald Trump in a new Iowa poll, opening up a 10-point lead in the critical first-in-the-nation voting state.

The Des Moines Register and Bloomberg Politics poll released on Saturday finds Cruz commanding 31% of likely Republican caucus-goers in the state, 10 points ahead of Trump, who received 21%.

For Cruz, the poll represents a massive 21-point jump from a survey conducted by the two outlets in October.

Cruz and Trump will face off Tuesday in Las Vegas at the next Republican presidential debate, sponsored by CNN.

“We have more work to do, but we can definitively say the message is working,” Cruz’s Iowa state director, Bryan English, told CNN in a statement.

Trevor Noah on Ted Cruz – “He reminds me of Pepe La Pou, The Skunk” – Video

It’s as if he couldn’t wait to get back to business as usual, and the terrorist attack in San Bernardino was taking him off his game. So right after the shooting, Ted Cruz made sure to remind his faithful followers to come out to his gun supporting event and to show their love for guns!

“Fourteen people just lost their lives in a shooting, and Ted Cruz’s first thought is, ‘Oh, that reminds me, gotta send out my invites to my gun party,’” Trevor Noah said on “The Daily Show”. “Yeah, that seems like something you’d only do if you were an asshole.”

Later on in his piece after a continued barrage of slams on Cruz, Noah said this; “You know what, Ted Cruz reminds me of Pepe Le Pou, the skunk! Because you know, when he thinks he’s being charming, he’s just being even more creepy!”

That was followed by a video clip of Ted Cruz talking about how happy he was that he didn’t have “17 daughters,” and how easy it was for him to get “rubbers” for sex.

Noah summerized that maybe Ted Curz is the perfect leader for America, because he has shown both Democrats and Republicans that they do have at least one thing in common – their hate for Ted Cruz!

Alan Grayson Questions “Canadian Born” Ted Cruz’s Eligibility to Run for President

Karma is amazing, eh?

Barack Obama was born in America to an American mother. But that didn’t stop Republicans like Donald Trump, from claiming that Mr. Obama is not a citizen of the United States and thus, ineligible to hold the office of President.

Ted Cruz was NOT born in America. He was born in Canada and the last time I checked, Canada was a totally different country. But Republicans, including Donald Trump, have apparently accepted Cruz’s Canada birth as acceptable enough to run for president in America.

But one congressman is questioning Cruz’s eligibility, and he is filing a lawsuit to prove his point.

Alan Grayson, a Democrat, told Fox News Radio Cruz does not meet the constitutional requirement that the president be a natural born citizen.

Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta, in 1970 to a Cuban-born father and American-born mother, and had American and Canadian dual citizenship as a result.

Cruz did not acknowledge his dual citizenship publicly until 2013 when the Dallas Morning News published his birth certificate, but renounced it in 2014, saying at the time “as a U.S. senator, I believe I should be only an American.”

“The Constitution says natural born Americans, so now we’re counting Canadians as natural born Americans?” Grayson said during an interview with Alan Colmes on the radio network. “How does that work? I’m waiting for the moment that he gets the nomination and then I will file that beautiful lawsuit saying that he’s unqualified for the job because he’s ineligible.”

Colmes told Grayson he thought it was interesting that many of the people who were concerned about President Barack Obama having a Kenyan-born father — his mother was American and he was born in Hawaii — don’t share the same concern about Cruz.
