Mike Bloomberg – Ted Cruz “says some of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard”

In an interview on CNN, former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg, was asked about Climate Change and the Republican’s position on the issue – you know they say the science behind Climate Change is false, and although records are being broken on a yearly basis suggesting a warming trend, Republicans insist this warming is a figment of our imagination.

The former mayor mentioned two current Republican presidential candidates, Ben Carson who made a living in the Science field, and Ted Cruz, once called the smartest student in his class by a Harvard professor.

After dismissing “right-wing crazies” who reject mainstream climate science, Bloomberg was asked by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour what he made of the GOP field.

The billionaire media mogul, who has championed the issue of climate change, first criticized retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

“There’s one of them who was a surgeon, unfortunately at Johns Hopkins, who doesn’t believe in science,” Bloomberg said. “Somebody said that’s like a business executive that doesn’t believe in profits.”

Bloomberg then said that Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas had said some of the “stupidest” things about climate change despite his intellect. He noted that Cruz’s intelligence had been praised by Alan Dershowitz, a prominent attorney who was once Cruz’s Harvard professor.

“You’ve got a guy like Ted Cruz — who I think Dershowitz said was the smartest law student he ever had — and he says some of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard,” Bloomberg said. “The only explanation — the only explanation — is he doesn’t believe it; he’s just saying it.”

Ted Cruz Suggests President Obama Prefer Muslims Over Americans – Video

Ted Cruz has figured out a way to get another rise in the polls from the clueless Republican base with another dumb attack on the President. In talking to one of the original Obama Haters, Sean Hannity on Fox News, Cruz talked about the recent terrorist events in Paris, and his completely foolish views that the president prefers Muslims over Americans.

HANNITY: Senator, [Clinton] couldn’t say [“radical Islam”] during the debate Saturday, couldn’t say it today. Bernie Sanders thinks climate change is a bigger national security threat.

I want you to respond to that. And as you are, we have new footage, by the way, from inside the Paris cafe of some of the refugees (sic) attacking these innocent men, women and children. So what’s your answer to her and Bernie Sanders and Barack Obama when they say these things?

CRUZ: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, the modern Democratic Party, has a blindness to radical Islamic terrorism, and they’ve endangered the safety and security of this country, the safety and security of millions of Americans.

You know, have you noticed that the one time President Obama and Hillary Clinton are willing to use military force is when using it benefits radical Islamic terrorists? Go back to the beginning of the administration, Libya. Listen, Qaddafi was a bad man. He had a terrible human rights record, but he had voluntarily handed over his nuclear weapons efforts. He was aiding the United States in going after radical Islamic terrorists. He was targeting the terrorists. And what did Obama and Clinton do? They led NATO in bombing Qaddafi and doing everything they could to drive him out of power. And the consequence was they handed Libya over to warring tribes of radical Islamic terrorists. One of the reasons Benghazi happened, four Americans were murdered—It wasn’t just Hillary Clinton’s malfeasance on that night. It was the failed foreign policy that had handed that country over to radical Islamic terrorists.

They did the same thing in Egypt. Mubarak, again a flawed man, a dictator with a terrible human rights record, but he consistently stood as an ally with America against radical Islamic terrorists. What did Obama and Clinton do? Pushed Mubarak out and pushed the Muslim Brotherhood, which finances radical Islamic terrorism…

Ted Cruz – For Bringing Syrian Refugees to U.S Before he was Against it – Video

At a time when everything is recorded – sometimes in High Definition – you would think that people, especially those wishing to be president of the United States, would at least be more consistent in their positions.

Yes, positions change, views evolve, but when they do, at least acknowledge that evolution and embrace it, and don’t act as if you’ve always maintained your new way of thinking.

That is what Ted Cruz is doing these days in the debate about whether Syrian refugees should be allowed in the United States. Back in February, Ted Cruz – whose father is a Cuban refugee – was all for bringing Syrians here. In an interview on Fox News, Cruz looked into the camera and made the case that the refugees should be welcomed.

“We have welcomed refugees — the tired, huddled masses — for centuries, he said. “That’s been the history of the United States. We should continue to do so.” He added: “We have to continue to be vigilant to make sure those coming are not affiliated with the terrorists, but we can do that.”

But of course that was then. Now, Cruz thinks it’s “lunacy” to bring “the tired, huddled masses” from Syria here.

“It is nothing less than lunacy,” Cruz said as recently as last Saturday. “It makes no sense whatsoever for us to be bringing in refugees who our intelligence cannot determine if they are terrorists here to kill us or not. Those who are fleeing persecution should be resettled in the Middle East in majority Muslim countries.”

And when the president basically quoted what Cruz said in February and said it was “shameful” that governors are now against bring refugees here, Cruz took it personally and dared the president to “come back and insult me to my face!” Total insanity if you ask me.

Cruz Threatens Obama – “Come Back and Insult Me To My Face”

This is no longer in the realms of “freedom of speech.” This irresponsible statement by Texas senator Ted Cruz is a direct threat and it should be taken as one! What exactly is he planning to do to the president if Mr. Obama was in his presence?

Now I understand that a direct threat to the President of the United States will give Cruz much favor with the so-called “patriots” in the Republican party, but it sounds like the Secret Service need to pay Cruz a visit!

Cruz was responding to Obama’s recent criticism of Republicans suggesting there be a religious test for Syrian refugees seeking entrance to the country, a plan he called “shameful” and “not American” while in Turkey for the Group of 20 summit.

“If you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries. But I would encourage you, Mr. President, come back and insult me to my face,” Cruz said, staring directly into the camera.

Cruz got even more schoolyard, challenging the President to a debate any place, any time.

“Let’s have a debate on Syrian refugees, right now. We can do it anywhere you want. I would prefer it in the United States and not overseas,” the Republican presidential candidate said. “We’ll do it on any station.”

Ted Cruz’s SuperPac Slams Marco Rubio as The Absentee Senator – Video

ab·sen·tee
ˌabsənˈtē/
noun
 1. a person who is expected or required to be present at a place or event but is not.

A superpac affiliated with Ted Cruz is slamming Marco Rubio in a new ad as an absentee Senator who has done nothing since being elected to congress. But, according to the ad, Marco looks good on TV!

I’m not going to say how Rubio looks on TV, but the part about him being awol from his job in the senate is a documented fact. And now, the man who can’t even do his job in the senate, is running to be the next president of the United States!

Laughable!

Ted Cruz – A President Must Begin His Day “on his knees” Before God – Video

It’s always amazing to me how religious these Republican politicians become around election time. Senator Ted Cruz is obviously trying to win the Republican’s nomination for president, so pandering to the religious base in his party is a necessary part of his game plan.

Speaking in an interview with conservative Pastor Kevin Swanson at the National Religious Liberties Conference, Ted Cruz told the crowd what they wanted to hear and in so doing, Cruz hopes to get a rise in the polls.

Swanson asked Cruz, “How important is it for the President of the United States to fear God and what does that mean to you?”

“Any president who doesn’t begin every day on his knees isn’t fit to be commander-in-chief of this nation,” Cruz stated.

The pastor said “amen” and the audience applauded in approval.

Republican Senator Calls Out Ted Cruz for Lying to GOP Base – Audio

In a recent interview with Sirius XM’s Pete Dominick, former Oklahoma senator Tom Coburn called out his fellow Republican senator, Ted Cruz, as a liar who sells the Republican base a bag of bull, that they keep buying.

In th interview, Coburn explained the bag of bull – something he called “the Cruz effect.”

“I call it the ‘Cruz effect! Look, when you tell people you can accomplish something that you can’t, for example, shutting down the government over the Affordable Care Act. When, in fact, you promise people in your speeches and your talk that we can do this, and by dinghy, we’re gonna get rid of the Affordable Care Act, and all we have to do is shut down the government.

“Well, that’s one thing to tell ’em that. It’s a whole other thing to be able to accomplish that, and build a coalition that once you shut it, that it doesn’t get opened up ’till you win.

“So what happens to that is, once you’ve told people that, and you’ve put your finger — ‘everybody that doesn’t believe exactly like I believe, you’re not a patriot, you don’t care about the country’ — what you do is you create greater disappointment in the hinterlands, because you gave them a false hope, knowing that you couldn’t accomplish it, but it was about yelling, and screaming, and waving the flag. And so what happens is, there becomes less confidence in the Congress and its ability to do its job.

“You know, I came out of the Senate with one of the most conservative ratings ever in the history of the Senate. You know, it was like 98.8% in terms of conservative. And yet, I compromised all the time to accomplish things that were good for the country.”

Classless Ted Cruz Jokes about Joe Biden as Biden Mourns Loss of His Son – Video

The Vice President of the United States just suffered another one of life’s tragedies with the loss of his 46-year-old son Beau Biden to a brain tumor. And while the rest of the country respectfully allowed the Bidens to mourn their loss, Republican Ted Cruz, a current presidential candidate for 2016, jumped at the opportunity to tell a cruel “joke” about the Vice President.

Cruz, speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of roughly 650 Republicans at a Livingston County GOP dinner, told a series of jokes about Democrats, including the poorly timed jab at the vice president.

“You know, Vice President Joe Biden,” he said as a few chuckles emerged from the crowd, setting up the joke for him.

“You know the nice thing. You don’t need a punchline. I promise you it works. At the next party you’re at, just walk up to someone and say, ‘Vice President Joe Biden,’ and just close your mouth. They will crack up laughing.”

A little later, a reporter asked Cruz why he would do such a horrible thing as joke about the vice president while he is getting ready to bury his son. Instead of using the time to realize his mistake and offer a sincere apology, Cruz is caught on camera running away from the reporter like the classless fool his truly is.

Ted Cruz’s Daddy – “Kiss this country goodbye” if Hillary Clinton is Elected – Video

Ted Cruz is the same Republican who organized the last shutdown of the American government, a move that cost this country $24 billion according to Standard & Poor’s. Standard and Poor’s also said the shutdown equaled $1.5 billion a day for the 16 days shutdown the doors to some government agencies stayed shut. If the shutdown had continued, as Ted Cruz clearly wanted it to, America would be no more.

Cruz’s daddy – who had no criticism about his son’s government shutdown – is now all of a sudden saying “you might as well kiss this country goodbye” if Hillary Clinton is elected in 2016. Again, this man had nothing do say when his son cost this country $24 billion!

Speaking to a Teaparty group in Georgia, Rafael Cruz said,“If we did it then, you bet we can do it again. And let me tell you, if we have someone like Hillary Clinton elected in 2016, you might as well kiss this country goodbye, this country’s gone. We are fighting for the survival of America.”

Again, this man had nothing to say about the destruction of America when his son shut down the government and cost the nation $24 billion in 16 days!

Republican Peter King on Supporting Ted Cruz – “I will jump off that bridge when we come to it”

Republican Representative Peter King does not hide he feelings well, especially when it comes to his fellow Republican, Senator Ted Cruz.

Earlier this week, King went on CNN to discuss, among other things, Senator Cruz and his wish to be the next Republican presidential nominee. Asked by Wolf Blitzer if he can support Cruz for president, King replied, “I hope that day never comes. I will jump off that bridge when we come to it.”

“You’re leaving open that possibility after you said what you said?” Blitzer asked.

“It’d be very difficult,” King responded. “Maybe he can go on the road to Damascus, he can have a complete conversion. But the way it is right now, it’d be very difficult to support Ted Cruz.”

King appeared on Blitzer’s show after releasing a statement calling the Texas Tea Party favorite a “carnival barker.” Cruz announced early Monday morning that he was officially entering the 2016 presidential race.

“Ted Cruz may be an intelligent person, but he doesn’t carry out an intelligent debate,” King said. “He oversimplifies, he exaggerates.”

King also accused Cruz of leading the GOP “off the cliff” in 2013 for inciting the federal government shutdown. At the time, King blamed Cruz and his “acolytes” for the shutdown, saying it was “madness” for the party to follow his lead.

Ted Cruz Confirms – He is Signing up For Obamacare – Video

Amazing. He is one of the loudest critics of the new healthcare law, the law that now provides healthcare to millions of Americans, but Cruz now confirms that he will in fact, sign up for Obamacare. It’s the all for me, none for you mentality!

“We will presumably go on the exchange and sign up for health care, and we’re in the process of transitioning over to do that,” Cruz, a Republican and Obamacare hater, told The Des Moines Register.

Cruz, who once depended on his wife for health insurance, will now look to Obamacare to save his sorry ass!

So, What is Jon Stewart Saying about Ted Cruz’s Announcement for President? – Video

Like you may have heard, Ted Cruz formally announced his intentions to run for president in 2016. I’ll wait for the laughter to stop.

Waiting.

Waiting.

Ok, I can’t wait anymore. We don’t have all day you know.

Moments after Cruz made his announcement in front of a reported 10,000 students at the Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University, another report stated that these students had to attend the event to avoid being fined. But with such a demand for mandatory attendance, some in the audience could have been angry and could have missed Cruz’s speech. They were there physically, but mentally…?

Well we are here to help. So let’s take it to Jon Stewart for his two-cents on this two-cents Republican candidate.
