Colin Kaepernick Protest Sports Steve King

Republican Steve King Says Colin Kaepernick’s Activism is “Sympathetic to ISIS” – Video

The very premise of the question irks me. According to Newsmax host, Steve Malzberg, the constitutional right of an individual stops when that person goes to work or put on a uniform.

In an interview with Iowa’s Republican congressman, Steve King, Malzberg argued that he disagrees with the coach of The 49ers who said that Kaepernick has a constitutional right to protest.

“No, not on the field. Not in uniform!” Malzberg exclaimed. “You know I can’t sit here with my fist in the air in a form of protest over something while I do my show. I’ll be fired! My boss would say you can’t do it!”

Malzberg then states that “there is no constitutional right for a freedom of expression when you’re in uniform and working for a football team.”

Of course Steve King totally agreed that the constitutional rights of Americans stop at employment. “I would fire them,” King said, of anyone who want to work for him while exercising their constitutional right to protest. King then went out on a limb to blame Kaepernick’s “Islamic girlfriend” for the changes in Kaepernick and for him asserting his constitutional right to protest.

Ted Cruz Brings Out the Crazies – Steve King and Michele Bachmann Joins Campaign

Ever wonder why Canadian born Ted Cruz is polling high in the Republican presidential nomination process? Well wonder no more.

Ted Cruz has figured out just how crazy the Republican base is. Heck, look at the HUGE support they’ve dropped in the lap of Donald Trump. So with that in mind, Cruz is pandering to the side of the Republican party he can identify with – the crazies. And to pacify their thirst for pure insanity, Cruz is actively campaigning with the likes of Michele Bachmann, Peter King and Louie Gohmert to name a few.

Lawmakers like Reps. Steve King of Iowa and Mo Brooks of Alabama are attending campaign rallies with Cruz…So far, Reps. Jim Bridenstine of Oklahoma, and Louie Gohmert and John Ratcliffe of Texas have been surrogates for Cruz at Republican debates. And Bridenstine recently hosted an event in Tulsa and did an Internet ad for the campaign pushing back against Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s attacks on Cruz’s national security credentials. Other lawmakers who have endorsed Cruz include Texas Reps. Randy Weber, Brian Babin, Michael Burgess and John Culberson. Reps. Jody Hice of Georgia, Sam Graves of Missouri and Dana Rohrabacher of California are also behind Cruz.

Watch Rand Paul Run, Trying to Escape The Dreamers – Video

So Steve King and Rand Paul were at a fundraiser in Iowa, eating burgers and meeting supporters. No problem here, politicians do that all the time. But then something strange happened, two Dreamers were ushered to the table to meet the Republicans and when they identified themselves as “Dreamers,” Rand Paul stuffed his mouth with his last bite and sprinted way out of town!

Reminded me of Usain Bolt!

Steve King was forced to explain his controversial “calves the size of cantaloupe” comment, but Paul, the man who is vowing to be Republicans’ fearsome leader and be the President of this country in 2016 was no where to be found.

Steve King to President Obama – Please Don’t Make us Impeach You

Republicans are determined to somehow bring legal charges against President Obama with their proposed lawsuit. And although John Boehner has said multiple times, that it is not the intention of the Republicans to impeach the President, Boehner has said many things in the past that turned out to be false. And we’ve seen from recent incidents that Boehner has no control over the people in his party. So although he may try to convince the American people that impeachment is off the table, Boehner’s words mean absolutely nothing.

Here’s an example of someone who apparently has more pull than Boehner. Steve King went on Fox News and practically begged the president not to take executive actions on immigration reform. King warned that if such actions are taken by the president, then the I-WORD would surly come into play.

In an interview on Sunday, Fox News host Chris Wallace asked King what Republicans would do if the president decided to take executive action to stop the deportation of 11 million undocumented immigrants.

“None of us want to do the thing that’s left for us as an alternative,” King explained. “But if the president has decided that he’s simple not going to enforce any immigration law or at least not against anybody except the felons — which essentially he has done already, this is a broader group of people — I think Congress has to sit down and have a serious look at the rest of this Constitution, and that includes that i-word that we don’t want to say.”

The Iowa Republican added: “And I only say that now because I want to encourage the president, ‘Please don’t put America into a constitutional crisis. Please don’t do that. There’s too much at stake in this country to be decided that you can take over the Constitution and write it at will.'”

“You’re saying that if he were to do that, impeachment would be on the table?” Wallace pressed.

“I think then we have to sit down and take a look at that,” King insisted. “If that’s not enough to bring that about then I don’t know what would be. We’ve never seen anything in this country like a president who says I’m going make up all the immigration law that I choose.”

Republican John Boehner Called Republican Steve King “an asshole!”

Hey, I’m just reporting what the man said.

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) claims in a recent article for Texas Monthly that House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) called Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) an “asshole” in July after King compared undocumented immigrants to drug mules with “calves the size of cantaloupes.”

In the article, Castro reflects on his first year in Congress and expresses his disappointment in the House’s inability to pass immigration reform last year.

Castro himself calls King one of the “less tactful Republicans,” who “seemed to even go out of their way to express disdain for immigrants.” Boehner condemned King’s statements in a July press conference, calling them “deeply offensive and wrong.”

In his piece, Castro offers a candid opinion of Boehner and the circumstances under which the comment was made:

The Democratic caricature of the speaker is that he’s an overly tan, overly emotional cat-herder who has lost control of his flock, but in person, he comes across as approachable and down-to-earth, and you can see how he earned the trust of his colleagues and became their leader. On a day not too long after Boehner’s political body check of Steve King for his immigration comments, the speaker was milling around the aisle walkway in the middle section of the House floor where the Democratic and Republican territories meet. Another Texas Democrat and I were standing a few feet away, and as the speaker passed us we thanked him for denouncing King’s offensive comments. He slowed his stride and then paused to turn toward us. “What an asshole,” he said. My thoughts exactly, Mr. Speaker.

Boehner’s office declined to comment on Castro’s account.

Republican Steve King Compares Himself to Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson

And amazingly,  his comparison was made in a fund-raising email.

According to the Des Moines Register, King’s email said that the Duck Dynasty situation “illustrates the left’s unspoken rule that tolerance is a one way street. Conservatives are to be tolerant of liberal ideology; however, the left need not be tolerant of conservative Christians.”

King continued:

I have been in similar situations to the one Phil Robertson finds himself in now. I have learned to navigate their intolerance while holding firm to our values. Whether it’s the Robertsons or anyone who finds themselves in the crosshairs of the media or a leftist hyperventilater sitting across the table at the local diner, employ this strategy:

Don’t back down. If you are right and you are standing on principle, whatever you do, don’t back down. The second you back down, they win.

Don’t apologize. John Wayne said, “Never apologize. It’s a sign of weakness.” I agree, unless we are wrong and we are not wrong.

Double down. Americans recognize courage and conviction. If the left attacks our conservative beliefs, I say, “If you don’t like that, here’s some more.”

Never waiver from the truth. This includes taking on all the left’s false premises before they become the perceived truth. The left is not held accountable to the truth — it is our duty to expose them. Objective truth is a shield protecting us from the left.

Tolerance has never been a two-way street with the left. Time and time again conservatives are lambasted for stating their opinions, the opinions derived from faith, family, and an understanding of history. Once again the left encourages a double standard to advance their agenda.

As you know, I have not and will not back down. And like other conservatives who stand their ground, I’m always a top target of the left.

King went on to explain that with Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) retiring and Col. Allen West no longer in the House, he is the “last one standing” when it comes to major conservative targets up for re-election.

Republicans Suggest Impeaching Obama If Nation Defaults

President Obama has tried just about every conceivable angle, to convince these Republicans that a “balanced approach” is what’s needed to address the nation’s debt. That balanced approach being, spending cuts plus raising revenue. But Republicans have been defiant. They have maintained their original “no compromise” position on allowing some of the loopholes for the wealthy to end, and in effect, kept the stalemate going on how the debt ceiling should be raised.

And now this… Republican Steve King of Iowa, has turned the tables on the President. King is now suggesting that President Obama should be impeached if the nation defaults. Let that marinate!

So Republicans have refused to work with the President and Democrats on any plausible solution towards avoiding a default, but at the same time, they’re now calling for the President’s impeachment if we do?

Picture this:

The ship called The Economy just sank, and Republicans are safely in the only life boat. President Obama is in the water trying to save as many as he can. Both his hands are already full, but there’s still more to be saved. He turns to the Republicans and asks for their help…and they throw him an anvil.

Then from within the safe confines of the life boat, Steve King shouts out, ” and make sure you save everybody… and don’t let that anvil sink!”

Republican Steve King – The Lying Christian

As an elected congressman or woman for that matter,  one of your primary responsibilities to the people who vote you into power is to be honest.  However,  Republican congressman Steve King from Iowa went on “The Last Word” with Lawrence O’Donnell and claimed that he lies to his constituents to keep the peace.

Only in America can a congressman come on television, say he’s a Christian, profess to know the truth about an issue, then deliberately withholds this truth from his constituents for fear of pissing them off! The issue in this case is whether or not President Obama is a Christian or Muslim.

Ladies and gentlemen,  please allow us to introduce to you the Lying, Christian, Republican Congressman from Iowa, Mr. Steve King.
