Showdown At The Fox Corral Between Sean Hannity And Keith Ellison

Congressman Keith Ellison went on Sean Hannity‘s Fox News program also known as the Republican channel last night and had what amounted to a showdown at the O.K Fox News Corral… the political version that is.

The Democratic congressman was introduced and already, from the introduction Mr. Ellison had something to say. He referenced a video clip Hannity showed, where Hannity depicted President Obama talking about the Sequester. But Hannity did not allow the president to talk uninterrupted.  Apparently there were other comments and music being played in the background while Mr. Obama spoke.

Congressman Keith Ellison couldn’t wait for Hannity to complete introducing him to the misguided uninformed viewers of Fox. He lashed out at Hannity and controlled the fight for the next six minutes. Ellison called Hannity  “the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen,” and accused the Fox host of engaging in “yellow journalism.

He also referred to Hannity as “deceptive,” said that Hannity had violated “every journalistic ethic I’ve ever heard of,” and called him “immoral.” And that was just the start. There was a time when the confrontation reminded me of what Piers Morgan experienced when he tried to interview the gun loving Alex Jones.

Watch the confrontation below.

The Romney’s Are Just Like Us – Let’s All Brag about Our Horses

Mitt Romney is just like us. I remember the last time I was caught on camera discussing my horses, so I can definitely understand Mitt Romney’s almost secret conversation with Sean Hannity of Fox News when Hannity – unaware that his conversation with Romney was being recorded – asked the following question:

“What kind of horses do you have?” asks Hannity.

“She has Austrian warmbloods,” says Romney, “It’s a dressage horse … for the sport she’s in.” “Me? I have a Missouri Fox Trotter. So mine’s like a quarter horse, but just a much better gait — it moves very fast.”

The New York Times reported in December that Romney acquired “six-figure warmblood horses for his wife.” The story was corrected to say that the horses were warmbloods, not thoroughbreds.

We totally understand Romney. We’re all elitists like that!

Sean Hannity Thinks President Obama Is Not “That Smart”

So Called, FOX "News" Sean Hannity

An enraged Sean Hannity reacted to a controversial Politico article about Rick Perry’s intelligence by questioning President Obama’s intelligence for almost eight minutes.

The Politico piece had a blunt title: “Is Rick Perry Dumb?” Writer Jonathan Martin spent nearly 1,800 words pondering the question, essentially concluding that, while Perry is not an “ideas man,” he has a sharp and potent political mind and should not be underestimated. Hannity was incensed, though, seeing a clear case of liberal media bias.

“The question of intelligence is one the mainstream media never bothered to ask about President Obama,” he said. He then brought on Tucker Carlson and Democratic cable news mainstay Steve McMahon on to discuss just that.

Eventually, Hannity stated “Every liberal’s a genius that drives the economy into a ditch,” he concluded , “…I don’t think he’s that smart.”

Americans Are Just Tired Of The Conservative Lies

It was bound to happen. You can only lie to people for so long, and the American people are beginning to say ENOUGH! A recent poll shows that top conservative radio talk shows are loosing their audience in droves!

The just-released Arbitron repor treveals that a lot less people are listening to right-wing talk radio.With a lull in ratings since November, RushLimbaugh had a 3.0 share of listeners for his radio time slot, which is a 33% slide from October and from last April, reports Crain’s Business.

Meanwhile, The Sean Hannity Show was reported to be down 28% from its peak numbers in the fall.

And let’s not forget the massive exodus from the Glenn Beck show. So bad was this exodus, that Fox News has decided not to renew his contract. But this report shows that the entire Fox network is loosing viewers;

Glenn Beck suffered the biggest drop, losing 30% of his audience compared to the first quarter last year.  But he wasn’t alone.  Top ranking O’Reilly lost 14% of his audience, Sean Hannity, up a spot from 2010, lost 19%, and Bret Baier, who pushed Beck out of the top three, lost 13%.

Greta Van Susteren, who has been bleeding viewers to Anderson Cooper this month, is down 22.86%.

All in all Fox News actually lost 21% of its primetime audience during the quarter.

What’s the old saying? You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t continually lie and expect Americans to continually buy into the dumbness. Well–that’s not exactly what they say but you catch my drift.

Anthony Weiner Featured New York United States

The Wrestling Match Between Anthony Weiner, Sean Hannity and Michele Bachmann

You have to hand it to Anthony Weiner, Democratic Representative from New York. He appeared on a FOX show hosted by Sean Hannity and got double teamed by the host and his other guest, Michele Bachmann.

What made this video most enjoyable was seeing the obviously transparent ways the right winged host, who is supposed to practice  “Fair and Balanced” journalism,  attacks Mr. Weiner. Needless to say, Weiner didn’t get to say much, but he eventually realized what was happening and advised the host;

Sean, make it three on one next time. Make it three on one or four on one next time. I’m ready for you.

The “Fair and Balanced” host shot back with a personal attack on his guest, telling Mr. Weiner, “You’re a star, just don’t look in the mirror.” Mr. Weiner replied with a laugh, saying “I love these balanced debates.”

How this  ‘organization’  is  allowed to bear the name “news”  in its title is still beyond my understanding.

Bill O'Reilly Politics Republican Sarah Palin tax cuts

Alan Grayson Slams Fox News and The Right Winged Propaganda Machine

Alan Grayson points finger and calls names in this presentation in the House of Representatives, showing why some on the right insist on continuing the tax cuts for the rich. Grayson stated the obvious, that the truth of the matter is, Congressional Republicans are all going to benefit from those tax cuts.

Alan came prepared with huge cardboard cut-out of different so-called “pundits,” detailing what they make and how much more they are sure to get if the Republicans get their way and extend the Millionaire Tax cuts.

He then came up with a better use of that extra cash these rich folks don’t need – using it to create jobs – over 3 million jobs at $30,000 a year Grayson says, is the better way to get this economy moving again.

Names like Fox News contributors, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and Bill O’Reilly and even the former President himself will benefit tremendously from having these millionaire tax cuts extended. In Mr. Grayson’s own words;

They want tax cuts for the rich because they want a tax cut for themselves. What do I mean by that? Let’s take a look at the people who are really in charge, the ones who actually run the Republican party.

Let’s start with this gentleman here, the man with the cigar, Rush Limbaugh. Doesn’t he look happy? According according to Newsweek, he makes $58.7 million a year, and extending the tax cuts means he’ll have another $2.7 million. Mega dittos, Rush, and mega money. Let’s look at the next one.

Here’s Glenn Beck, according to Newsweek Glenn Beck makes $33 million a year as a pundit and extending the Bush Tax Cuts means a cool $1.5 million for Glenn bBeck’s ongoing imitation of Howard Beale from Network. Now let’s look at the next one.

Sean Hannity. Newsweek says that Sean Hannity, this man of the people makes $22 million a year from his act on Fox. And that means the Bush Tax cuts mean an extra $1 million. $1 million for Sean Hannity. Maybe he can afford some anger management classes. Let’s take a look at the next one.

Bill O’Reilly. He makes a modest $20 million a year from his gig on Fox. That means that the Bush tax cuts give him not quite seven figures, nearly $914,000 of extra cash. It’s easy to see why Bill O’Reilly wants to see the Bush tax cuts extended. And I have to say, he’s no pinhead when it comes to that.

And Now, Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin has made $14 million this year from cashing in on her fame. In fact, she’s done a better job of turning fame into cash than anyone in American history. $14 million. So she wants the Bush tax cuts extended so she can make an extra cool $638,000. As she was — as she would gesture (shoulder shrug.)

Alan Grayson did not win his re-election in November, but he is not laying down in these last few weeks of his term in Congress. He is going out with a bang, and in the process, pointing out some very significant truths along the way!
