Fox News’ Tells Generals – Put Your Stars Down And Walk Out On Obama – Video

The only ‘news’ from Fox News is the ‘News’ that comes after the word “Fox.” If that word wasn’t included in the name, then they would more appropriately be called ‘Fox Opinions’ instead.

Here is an example explaining why I make that statement. What “news” network would advice the Generals in any administration to “put their stars down and walk out?”

President Obama is not George Bush and should never be confused with Bush. George Bush had a reputation of being a numskull, incapable of formulating an independent thought, the marbles in his brain were the toys of Dick Cheney. Barack Obama on the other hand is the total opposite, and has been accused by some in his own circle as taking his time when making decisions. Getting all the information first and thinking things through completely.

Over the last few days, some former workers in the President’s circle have been making the rounds, promoting their books about their time in the administration and insights they gained while working with the president. And like any other smart book salesperson, these former White House workers are telling the media exactly what they want to hear – perceived faults of the president – in hopes of bringing more attention and publicity to their books.

Leon Panetta has been extremely critical, blaming the president for the rise of ISIS and being a vocal opponent to the president’s “no boots on the ground” strategy. The media loves hearing this stuff and Panetta is feeding off their love of Obama-hate. Talking about positive attributes of the President apparently makes bad television, so Panetta has been making the rounds, his criticisms getting repeated airplay on television, his book sales undoubtedly rising.

So needless to say, Fox News found “news” in Panetta’s claims and decided to share it with their loyal fans. Their discussion focused on Leon’s critical statements and the statements of couple other Generals on the president’s “no boots” strategy in fighting ISIS. They all want the president to put “boots on the ground” to fight ISIS in Iraq and Syria and his decision not to do so is upsetting to them.

One of the ferns on the Fox couch expressed how frustrated the Generals must have been, when they told the President to put boots on the ground and he refused..

“You know what’s curious about the books that come out, is it’s pretty clear that in this administration the president of the United States ultimately decides what to do. But we’ve heard from Gates, we’ve heard from Pinata, they’ve given him great advice and he doesn’t take it. You’ve got to figure if you’re them and you’re sitting in a meeting and you make the case – and Hillary Clinton had a book that came out too – you make the case why you should do certain thinks a certain way and he says ‘no, we’re not going to do it that way,’ you just got to figure they’re sitting around the table going, [hits himself in the forehead] ‘no, not again!'”

And then this piece of news from another guest was the response.

“Why would they sit around the table Steve, they should just lay their stars down and walk out!”

First, a congressman claimed he is advising generals in the Obama administration to quit, now Fox is doing the same. Could you imagine the size of the posse they would have sent to take you to the gallows if you, as a liberal, had suggested that the Generals in the Bush administration should have quit? Especially in a time of War?

Fox News Mocks Ray Rice’s Victim and Domestic Abuse – Video

You just know this was going to happen. The hosts at Fox News were able to find the humor in the Ray Rice situation, where Rice was videotaped punching and knocking out his then fiancée in an elevator. You know if anyone can mock and make a joke about this situation and domestic abuse, it’s the good old folks over at Fox!

Responding to the video, Fox host Brian Kilmeade on Monday blasted the victims of domestic violence, criticizing Palmer (now Janay Rice) and other women who don’t break up with their partner after a domestic violence incident, saying they send a “terrible message.”

Kilmeade then proceeded to provide mocking advice to Palmer, quipping, “I think the message is, take the stairs.” Co-host Steve Doocey gamely joined in, “The message is, when you’re in an elevator, there’s a camera.”

Jon Stewart Slams Fox News for Their Dumb “Reporting” on Mike Brown Shooting

The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart was back to form last night when he took on the crazies at Fox News for their stupidity and their comical reporting on the tragic events in Ferguson MO over the last few weeks, when an unarmed teenager was massacred by police.

Now there were many areas where Fox’s stupidity prevailed, but Stewart zeroed in on Bill O’Reilly’s decision to break his vacation to comment on Mike Brown’s shooting, and Stewart also focused on Sean Hannity – the stupidity is abundant with this guy folks – and Hannity’s idiotic statement saying, that if he found himself in the same situation as Mike Brown, he would just raised his shirt to show the cop that he didn’t have a gun.

“You really do have no f*cking idea, do you?” Jon said. “If only Michael Brown, instead of holding his hands over his head, had reached down to his waist and lifted up his shirt to show the gun he did not actually have, well, this whole tragedy could have been avoided.”

Stewart then went on to explain the difference between Blacks and Whites in this country, and how they are treated. To illustrate, he shared that a white “The Daily Show” producer clad in “homeless elf attire” once went out in New York City to tape an interview, accompanied by a black correspondent for the show dressed in a well-tailored suit. The black correspondent was the one stopped when entering the building.

“Race is there, and it is a constant,” Stewart said. “You’re tired of hearing about it? Imagine how f*cking exhausting it is living it.”

Fox Host Abruptly Ends Interview After Lawyers Correctly Accused her of Pushing Misinformation – Video

This is exactly what we expect from the Fox!

In an interview that aired on Saturday, Fox Host Jeanine Pirro  interviewed the lawyers of one of the witnesses to the Michael Brown murder. The obvious attempt by Fox News was to paint the witness, Dorian Johnson, as a liar. But the Fox host began the interview with a lie, claiming that the autopsy disputes any possibility that Michael Brown was shot in the back.

The lawyer, Freeman Bosley Jr. began his answer by informing Pirro that the autopsy report conducted by Dr. Baden supports his client’s eyewitness report.

“The autopsy report for the most part confirms that. The autopsy report conducted by Dr. Baden basically states that there were six shots fired, one of them did hit Mike in the arm, they’re not quite sure whether it was from the back or from the front. So that’s consistent with what my client said. Now he did say that he thought Mike Brown was shot in the back but it shows that he was shot in the arm.”

Of course, the lawyer was correct, so the Fox host cuts him off. But for the record, Dr. Baden did say that the bullet wound in Mike Brown’s forearm could have been fired from the back, or behind Mike Brown, but this fact was totally ignored by the Fox people as Pirro continued insisting that Baden said “all six shots were fired from the front,” a blatant lie!

But the lawyers were strong in their beliefs and what the facts, and they were not going to the deterred by Fox’s misinformation. In fact, they called out the host for feeding into the misinformation and that was when all hell broke loose!

“You know, there was a lot of misinformation that was put out there that might have fired up people for no reason,” the Fox host said, probably realizing that she was guilty of feeding misinformation to her audience.

“Yeah, it’s misinformation, and you shouldn’t be running with that,” Bosley replied. “Because if you take another look at the autopsy report, it shows that one of those shots could have been from the back.”

Another lawyer for Dorian, James Williams, added his input that there were indeed “lots of misinformation, a lot of attempts to distract from the truth.”

“The truth here is that these two unarmed young men were running down the street away from a police officer, when he chased them and gunned them down. He didn’t try to apprehend them without using deadly force. They were doing nothing other than walking in the middle of the street.”

All this distraction about whether or not he was shot in the back or the back of the arm is of no moment. But it consistent with Dorian Johnson’s testimony.”

“We can’t both talk at the same time.” Pirro said, after a few failed attempts to continue her misinformation campaign. “I’m asking the questions. Mr. Wilson, if you don’t want to listen to the question then there’s no point in continuing with this conversation.”

The mic and the camera for the lawyers were cut and Pirro brought in her next guest.

Fox News Suggests Police Was “Justified” in Murdering Michael Brown – Video

The innuendos and falsehoods included in their broadcast to their uninformed audience on Sunday morning was enough to win Fox News an award for the most nonsense said in a 3 min segment. And they have tons of segments to choose from.

On Sunday’s edition of Fox & Friends, co-host Tucker Carlson seemed utterly amazed that “40 FBI Agents” are investigating the incident in Ferguson. “That is such a shocking number,” the idiot said, as he complained about the federal investigation into Brown’s execution.

“What’s the point of that?” Carlson asked. “You don’t need FBI agents to investigate a killing, that’s what the police department is for!”

Of course Carlson refused to see the ignorance of his statement and he refused to acknowledge that this same police department brought out tanks, snipers and flash grenades to battle citizens who were peacefully protesting the killing of an unarmed teenager in the streets.

Carlson wanted that police department to investigate the killing, a killing that involves one of their own – a police officer – who pulled the trigger, pumping multiple rounds into Brown’s body. The same police department that protected their ‘brother’ by not even releasing his name for almost a week! They, Carlson argues, should be the ones investigating the crime!

But as abhorrent as that argument was, his co-host totally took the cake.

Juliet Huddy, sitting between the two ferns, contributed her two cents by insinuating that maybe, just maybe the officer was “justified” in emptying his clip into the human being until he laid dead, lifeless in the street. Now, we are not sure if the police officer – later identified as Darren Wilson – emptied his clip, but according to multiple eye witnesses and the police protected autopsy, Brown was shot multiple times. And eyewitnesses indicated that some of those shots hit Brown in his back as he ran away for his life.

Huddy however, thinks there could be some justification for this.

Her two cents came as the two ferns besides her argued that the Justice Department had other motives when they asked the police department not to release the video showing someone, allegedly Michael Brown, robbing a convenience store. “Releasing the video would incite more protests,” the Justice Department said, but of course, the ferns believed the nonsense swirling around in their heads.

Huddy then dropped this nugget!

“But the thing is that the crowd immediately went out there when they found out that this man was shot — a young black man was shot by a white cop,” she said. “They went out there, they were furious about it.”

She continued:

“Had that tape been out there, had crowd realized that this man might have been robbing a store, there might have been something else criminal going on there, you know, to lend credence to the fact that maybe in some way — we don’t know this — but maybe this officer was justified, maybe this was a bad guy, maybe he wasn’t the ‘gentle giant.’ I’m not saying that’s what it was.”

Karl Rove Cries Shame on Republicans and Conservatives For Continuing Impeachment Talks – Video

Ya hear that Sarah Palin? Karl Rove is talking to you and your ilk!

But then again, we are talking about Karl Rove here. He’s just another partisan right winged Republican whose statements should be taken with a grain of salt.

Rove, the former advisor to George Bush, went on Fox News’s On the Record and cried shame on all those Republicans who are talking about impeaching the President. Rove is angry with these Republicans because they have lost the impeachment talking point, and he feels that President Obama and the democrats are now taking advantage of it. Rove said that the White House is “suggesting a constitutional crisis” in an effort to “fatten the accounts of Democratic fundraising groups.”

This however, is what Rove is saying this week. Next week, it is very likely that he would be the leader of the impeach Obama posse.

Fox News’ Advice to Women – “Don’t talk too much” and Wear a “colorful top”

“Not to raise their voices” and not to talk too much. That ladies, is Fox’s advice to you. According to these brainiacs, keeping your mouths shut is the secret to success.

Fox News host and proud card carrying member if the Knuckle dragging community, Steve Doocy introduced Sylvia Ann Hewlett’s book, Executive Presence, by advising that women should wear “well-cut jeans with a colorful top,” while an on-screen graphic told them “not to raise their voices.”

Co-host Anna Kooiman, however, argued that “women shouldn’t be so focused on what we look like, and what we’re wearing, but what our mind can do.”

“Also a little thing that you think is important is your presentation and your voice,” co-host Brian Kilmeade added. “Keep it low, don’t speak loud.”

“For women,” Doocy emphasized.

Hewlett explained that a lot of women from the South were taught to “fill the air with words… but oftentimes that undermines you, just rambling.”

“Don’t talk too much,” Doocy recommended.

Fox’s Megyn Kelly Attacks Another Warmonger on Fox – Video

Like Dick Cheney, John Bolton was a big pusher of the original plan that led to America’s invasion of Iraq. And like Dick Cheney,  Bolton now blames Obama for Iraq.

But when Bolton made a stop to the Republican safe zone of Fox News, where blaming Obama is the foundation of their very existence, Bolton found out that there is a hot seat in Rupert’s building and soon realized that he was sitting in it. Dick Cheney found himself in that very seat a few days ago.

Enter Megyn Kelly.

The conversation focused on the worsening conditions in Iraq and the decision to invade in the first place. When Bolton said that past decisions are “irrelevant to the circumstances we face now,” Kelly got animated.

“I know, you keep saying that but it actually is relevant to a lot of people out there who are wondering, ‘How did we get here?’ Is it not relevant to ask, ‘How did we get here?'” she asked.

“Well, it’s very interesting, but the decision-maker has to look at the environment we have now,” Bolton responded, saying it’s for that reason he is opposed to President Obama’s plan to send 300 military advisers to Iraq.

Kelly wasn’t done talking about Bolton’s role in the military misadventure.

“You know that a lot of people are out there tonight saying, ‘Well, weren’t you one of the people who was in favor of going into Iraq in the first place and Is that why you don’t want to discuss the past ten years and whether they were worth it?'” she asked.

Bolton said he would be “happy to discuss the past 10 years and we can start 10 years before that if you want,” but he stressed that it’s “not the question that America faces today.”

Members of Fox News Now Denouncing Their Network’s Coverage of Bergdahl

I don’t think they got the memo. Apparently, Juan Williams and Shep Smith were not aware that a smear campaign was on the way against a member of the military, Army Sargent Bowe Bergdahl, who was recently released as a prisoner of war after being held in captivity by the Taliban for five years.

Earlier this month, Shep Smith expressed his displeasure about the way his network and the Republicans were attacking the soldier.

“If you desert or commit treason, you have to be proved to have done so. We can’t just decide because some people come on television and yakety yak, and we’ve got a report of this and a report of that and that’s what happened. As the Army said, as the Pentagon said, you bring them home. You bring them home first, and then you investigate.”

And now, Juan Williams is doing the same. In a recent broadcast, Williams spoke his mind on the unfair malicious defamation of everything Bergdahl that Fox and the Republicans are perusing.

“You don’t make judgements at the opportunity to bring that young man home….But the idea is we don’t leave people in the enemy’s hands. The enemy saw him as an American soldier. This young man suffered. He was caged, Chris. His parents suffered. And yet people want to argue about the father’s beard. They want to say they shouldn’t have a parade. Let the military decide. The military is best positioned not us sitting here on this panel and not all the political people on the Republican side who have flip-flopped, flip-flopped, Chris in the most craven way. Unbelievable…”

Glimmers of hope from these two on a stinking [or sinking] ship that is The Fox. Hopefully they’ll jump ship before they’re pulled to the bottom by all the venom the rest of the cast spews!

Jon Stewart to Fox – If Bowe’s Father Was on Duck Dynasty, “you’d like him just f*cking fine” – Video

The hypocrites over at Fox News. Remember them? They are the ones who formed the Republican coalition around Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty a few months ago when they thought he was being unfairly treated by the left winged media.

Fox News and the Republicans loved Phil Robertson and his Duck Dynasty crew. The defended them as brave capitalist, patriotic Americans, even inviting a member of the show to the president’s State of the Union Address… beard and all. But yesterday, Fox stooped to a new low when they picked on the father of Bowe Bergdahl calling him a Taliban because of his beard. A beard he grew in support of his son who was held in captivity by the Taliban.

Said Fox host Brian Kilmeade, “I mean, he says he was growing his beard because his son was in captivity. Well, your son’s out now. So if you really don’t — no longer look like a member of the Taliban, you don’t have to look like a member of the Taliban. Are you out of razors?”

Jon Stewart had something to say about that new level of hypocrisy.

“Well, that got ugly fast,” Stewart said. “First of all, who the f*ck are you to judge what a guy does if he thinks it might help him get his son back? And I don’t want to complicate your hatred of facial hair there, friend, but my guess is if you gave Bob Berg-dahl a bandana and a duck, you’d like him just f*cking fine.”

Former Bush Official on Fox – Obama Did The Right Thing to Free Sgt. Bergdahl

John Bellinger, a Former Bush administration official, just secured his walking papers from the so called “news” network, almost guaranteeing that he will never to return to The Faux again.

What has Mr Bellinger done? He went on Fox News and, get this, spoke the truth!

After all the Fox noise about the Obama administration securing the release of a five year American prisoner of war, and the Republicans unbelievable hatred for this member of the military, Mr. Bellinger went on the propaganda machine and informed the clueless at that network that Obama did the right thing, and furthermore,  George Bush would have done the same thing too.

Gasp!

“I’m not saying this is clearly an easy choice,” Mr Bellinger said, “but frankly I think a Republican, a president of either party, Republican or Democratic, confronted with this opportunity to get back Sgt. Bergdahl, who is apparently in failing health, would have taken this opportunity to do this,” he added. “I think we would have made the same decision in the Bush administration.”

Fox News Attack Soldier’s Father – You “look like a member of the Taliban” – Video

It has been no surprise that Fox News and the Republicans are against of the release of the American soldier kept prisoner by the Taliban for five years. But attacking the soldier’s father because he grew his beard in support of his captured son?

Really?

“You wonder why, given the fact that a couple of years ago they had already discounted him as a deserter, why would the president of the United States embrace his family in the Rose Garden?” Fox News host Steve Doocy opined.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade accused Bowe Bergdahl’s father, Robert Bergdahl, of making “some anti-American tweets and statements” because he had said he was working to free the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, and that “God will repay the death of every Afghan child.”

“Really?” Kilmeade asked. “I mean, he says he was growing his beard because his son was in captivity. Well, your son’s out now. So if you really don’t — no longer look like a member of the Taliban, you don’t have to look like a member of the Taliban. Are you out of razors?”
