Megyn Kelly Says Trump Bought Her “Gifts” for Favorable Coverage on Fox

According to Megyn Kelly’s new memoir, Settle for More, Donald Trump was mad at her long before she asked those pointed questions at the first Republican presidential debate.

In the book, Kelly said Donald Trump tried offering her various “gifts” to influence her coverage of him. These gifts, Kelly said, came months before Donald announced his plan to run for president. She refused them all, setting up herself up for the wrath of the now president-elect Trump.

“Months before announcing his candidacy, [Trump] had tried hard to curry Ms. Kelly’s favor. He sent her notes, including a laudatory comment scrawled across her picture in The New York Times Magazine. (When Vanity Fair reported this, Mr. Trump denied it; Ms. Kelly includes proof, a picture.) Ms. Kelly and her husband declined an invitation to Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump’s fabled estate in Palm Beach, Fla. Then Mr. Trump tried, repeatedly and unsuccessfully, to persuade her to let him pick up the tab for the weekend she spent with two girlfriends at the Trump SoHo hotel.

“This is actually one of the untold stories of the 2016 campaign,” Ms. Kelly writes. “I was not the only journalist to whom Trump offered gifts clearly meant to shape coverage. Many reporters have told me that Trump worked hard to offer them something fabulous — from hotel rooms to rides on his 757.”

Megyn Kelly Rips Into Donald Trump for Being a Racist – Video

Here is another reason for Donald Trump, leader of the Republican Party, to attack Megyn Kelly.

Megyn Kelly on Thursday night said Donald Trump is “out of line” for calling the Mexican heritage of a federal judge, who is overseeing a fraud lawsuit against Trump University, a conflict of interest.

“You tell me – I’m a journalist here at Fox News and I’ve been doing legal commentary here for 10 years – this is out of line,” Kelly told guest Bill Bennett on her show “The Kelly File.”

“Yeah it’s out of line,” Bennett responded. “It’s a shame too, because it was a good day, it was an important day for Trump.”

Trump escalated his fight against U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel by telling the Wall Street Journal that the judge had “an absolute conflict” presiding over the case because of his “Mexican heritage.”
Trump cited his stance on illegal immigration, saying, “I’m building a wall. It’s an inherent conflict of interest.”

Kelly, a former attorney, came to the judge’s defense, noting the judicial code of conduct prevents the judge from personally responding to Trump.

Fox News Slams Donald Trump’s “Sick Obsession” with Megyn Kelly

I think so too. I think Donald Trump has a sick obsession with Megyn Kelly. He Reminds me of a 10 year old boy infatuated with the new girl in the class, but he can’t figure out how to express those feelings so he goes into bully mode trying desperately to get her attention.

My apologies to 10-year-olds for comparing you to Donald Trump!

“Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land,” the network said in a statement Friday evening.

The statement from spokeswoman Irena Briganti went on to praise Kelly as “an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America” and said the network will “continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump’s endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults.’”

“As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it’s especially deplorable for her to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job,” it added.

Donald Trump Hits Megyn Kelly Right on Time for Debate Night

And the media gets played again like a pawn falling even further into Trump’s trap and generating even more talk-time for the Republican front-runner. All Trump had to do? Say something stupid or say something stupid about someone. In this case, and on the same day as the last Republican debate for 2015, Trump resorted back to dump on Megyn Kelly of Fox News.

Donald Trump Wants a Boycott of Megyn Kelly’s Show

They say the boy who fights the girl the most is the one head over heels in love with you. If that is true, Donald Trump is in deep for Megyn Kelly.

Since the first Republican debate where Kelly asked some very appropriate questions about previous Trump statements about other women, Trump has made it his personal duty to attack the Fox News host every chance he gets, with everything he has. At one point, his attacks became so intense, Kelly was forced to take an unscheduled vacation.

Trump’s most recent attack came today, telling his followers to boycott Kelly’s show.

Big Man Trump Continues to Beat Up on Megyn Kelly

The Republicans love him! He is currently leading in all the Republican presidential polls and it doesn’t matter what nonsense he says, it doesn’t matter who he disrespect, the next poll will come out and Donald Trump will increase his lead.

Since the Fox News Republican debate where Megyn Kelly made the unthinkable mistake of acting as a debate moderator and asking questions, Donald Trump has been on a personal rampage, beating up on Megyn Kelly like she stole his manhood or something, even causing her to take an unplanned vacation from Fox News.

Well Megyn came back and on her first show, Trump apparently made it his duty to watch and he offered his well needed and highly favored comments via Twitter.

Then moments later, the Republican big man decided to beat up on the woman a little more with this tweet! And I’m sure when the next polling comes out, Republicans would love Trump even more!

Michael Savage on Donald Trump – “he’s already made America greater.” – Audio

Michael Savage is so in love with Donald Trump, he’s even having dreams  about the 2016 Republican presidential  candidate.

While explain one of those dreams to his radio audience, Savage admitted that Trump is “getting into my subconscious.” He then said that Trump has made him more proud of himself, because now he can finally say “‘I worked hard, I achieved success, and I’m proud of it.’ I don’t have to hide it when he’s around in my mind. He’s already elevated the psyche of America, he’s already made America greater.”

Savage then gave Trump an assist in attacking Fox’s Megyn Kelly, calling her a “blondie” and “Marsha Washington,” saying that her debate questions helped Trump among women voters — “even black women” — because “they don’t like women putting men down. Most women in America are dying for a man, they are dying for a man to stand up, and I got to tell you something, he seems to be the only man in the campaign.”

Ted Nugent Sides with Donald Trump’s Attacks on Megyn Kelly

Ted Nugent, a board member on NRA and defender of right-wing Republican politics, told WIBX’s Keeler in the Morning that he is not a fan of Megyn Kelly, but he sometimes tune to Fox to watch her, and he usually watch her while sitting “naked on the couch.”

Nugent’s sexist comment is no surprise and comes days after Megyn Kelly asked Trump about sexist comments he has made about women in the past. Trump, the Republican frontrunner for President in 2016, later explained that when Kelly asked the question, “she had blood coming out of her wherever,” a clear reference to menstruation.

“I’m a big fan of Donald Trump because I believe in bold, aggressive, unapologetic truth. Period,” Nugent said. “And I’m not a fan of Megyn Kelly, although I often turn on Fox just to look at her. Sometimes when I’m loading my [gun ammunition] magazines. I like to just look at her. And I usually sit naked on the couch dropping hot brass on my stuff.”

Then he commented on Kelly’s question to Trump about his sexist behavior.

“I’m afraid the gorgeous, stunning, otherwise professional and tuned-in Megyn Kelly absolutely fell of the cliff of political correctness when she proposed that obnoxious, meaningless, nonsensical, biased question for Donald Trump.”

“Megyn Kelly absolutely broke all of our hearts as only a Megyn Kelly could when she went into the status quo world. She isn’t status quo, but she started acting, and sounding, and looking like one, and I don’t believe she is. I think she is playing some games, either that or she’s getting bad advice, either that or she’s just getting stupid. Either way, Donald Trump is the good guy, currently Megyn Kelly ain’t.”

Donald Trump – Megyn Kelly “should really be apologizing to me” – Video

You might have heard that Donald Trump was involved in a Republican debate last week. And yes, questions were asked at the debate as is normal. But the donald is trying to set a new standard. He wants to dictate what questions are asked and if the questions do not pass his smell test, then he wants an apology for wasting his time.

Megyn Kelly of Fox News has been on the receiving end of the donald and all the venom the donald is capable of spitting. Her apparent mistake was asking the donald about past sexist remarks he has made. You might have heard that donald is running for president of the United States and is presently leading in a crowded Republican field.

Well Megyn’s questions didn’t fall on Trump’s good side and he chastised her greatly for using the debate to question him. Even calling her a “bimbo” and suggesting that her menstrual cycle was responsible for her questions.

But Trump is not stopping there. He now wants Megyn Kelly to apologize to him for asking a “stupid” and “unfair” question.. On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Trump had the nerve to not only appear on the show, but also to utter these words – “She should really be apologizing to me, you want to know the truth. And other candidates have said that.”

I think this is an experiment in politics, something no one has ever tried before. Donald Trump is trying to see just how far he can go before Republicans in his party revolt and kick him to the curb. The only problem is this Republican party has an unusual high tolerance for ignorance and bias, so instead of the revolt, Donald Trump might find himself gaining more favors among the Republican voters, as has been the case since he began his experiment months ago!

Donald Trump Blames Megyn Kelly’s Menstrual Cycle for His Attacks on Her

The ironic thing is, Trump’s attacks on Megyn Kelly is in response to a question she asked during the Fox News debate about his attacks on women. And to that question, Trump attacked Kelly, while insisting that he doesn’t attack women.

His latest attack on the Fox News host came on CNN when Trump credited Kelly’s menstrual cycle for her debate question. Speaking to CNN’s Don Lemon, Trump said, “you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.”

And for this sexist attack, you can bet Trump gained a few more votes from Republican voters. They love these attacks on women. The GOP’s war on women is alive and well!

After the interview, Trump doubled down on his blood statement in a tweet. But this time, he suggested “nose” as the other place where blood poured out of Kelly’s body.

Donald Trump Retweets Sexist Tweet Attacking Fox’s Megyn Kelly – PIC

Yep. That should do it. That should teach Megyn Kelly a lesson – never ask Donald Trump a legitimate question at a Republican debate.

After his personal sexist attack in the Fox News host for asking him to comment on his past sexist statements, Donald Trump took to Twitter and retweeted a tweet calling Kelly a “Bimbo.”

Megyn Kelly’s Hillary Clinton Talking-Point gets Shut Down On Air – Video

Yes, Fox News is the direct right arm of the Republican party, so when Barack Obama or Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton is mentioned on the network, negative connotations usually follow.

Enter Fox News host Megyn Kelly, and her recent episode bashing Hillary Clinton for announcing her intentions to run for President but, according to Kelly, avoiding reporters. Kelly’s guest, a regular Fox News contributor named Leslie Marshall, was invited to discuss Kelly’s concerns and she totally shutdown those concern as premature.

“So far, brilliantly done” Megyn says, referring to Clinton’s presidential announcement and her listening tour. “I mean, if she didn’t want to speak to the press, she managed to avoid them, she made them look like idiots and she’s pursuing this method that Valerie Jarrett said got Barack Obama elected.”

Marshall calmly explained to Megyn that it is still early in the process. That Clinton announced her candidacy just days ago and that the 2016 election is still a good ways off. Marshall practically guaranteed Kelly that as time went on, Clinton will be interviewed. But this was not accepted by Kelly and she continued pushing the talking point that Clinton was avoiding the press.

In the end, Marshall clearly won this debate as common sense prevailed. To quote Marshall, “She will have scheduled interviews, she has to, she can’t avoid it.”
