Karl Rove on Guns – “Repeal The 2nd Amendment” to Stop Gun Violence

Karl Rove, like many other Republicans, have been a staunch advocate for more guns. The idea these people always put forward in times of shootings and massacres, is the only solution to end gun violence is to have more guns on the streets. Well after the most recent shootings in South Carolina where 9 people died at the hands of a racist 21-year-old, Karl Rove appears to have had a change of heart.

Appearing on Fox News’, Rove was interviewed by Chris Wallace and was asked about the recent gun violence in South Carolina, and his response appeared to be a step away from his usual more guns is the answer stance, and a step towards more common sense gun policies.

WALLACE: How do we stop the violence?

What do you think?

ROVE: I wish I had an easy answer for that, but I don’t think there’s an easy answer

What do you think?

We saw an act of evil. Racist, bigoted evil, and to me the amazing thing is that it was met with grief and love. Think about how far we’ve come since 1963. The whole weight of the government throughout the South was to impede finding and holding and bringing to justice the men who perpetrated the [Birmingham] bombing.

What do you think?

And here, we saw an entire state, an entire community, an entire nation come together, grieving as one and united in the belief that this was an evil act, so we’ve come a long way.

What do you think?

Now maybe there’s some magic law that will keep us from having more of these. I mean basically the only way to guarantee that we will dramatically reduce acts of violence involving guns is to basically remove guns from society, and until somebody gets enough “oomph” to repeal the Second Amendment, that’s not going to happen.

Karl Rove Cries Shame on Republicans and Conservatives For Continuing Impeachment Talks – Video

Ya hear that Sarah Palin? Karl Rove is talking to you and your ilk!

But then again, we are talking about Karl Rove here. He’s just another partisan right winged Republican whose statements should be taken with a grain of salt.

Rove, the former advisor to George Bush, went on Fox News’s On the Record and cried shame on all those Republicans who are talking about impeaching the President. Rove is angry with these Republicans because they have lost the impeachment talking point, and he feels that President Obama and the democrats are now taking advantage of it. Rove said that the White House is “suggesting a constitutional crisis” in an effort to “fatten the accounts of Democratic fundraising groups.”

This however, is what Rove is saying this week. Next week, it is very likely that he would be the leader of the impeach Obama posse.

Karl Rove to Rand Paul – Beating up on Bill Clinton Not Good For 2016

When you’re looking for a sensible Repunlican to speak the truth to their brain dead masses, Karl Rove is usually not the man.

As a matter of fact, when it comes to speaking the truth, it is hard to find anyone in the Republican Party to carry that banner. So when someone from that party step to the plate and make a sensible statement, well, there will be a lot of snow in the northeast.

Guess what? There is a lot of snow in the northeast and Karl Rove said something that actually made sense.

In a recent interview on Fox News, Rove was asked to comment on Rand Paul and his constant bludgeoning of a 20 year old story involving Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. Rove’s response amounted to the most sensible thing I’ve heard from a Republican in a very long time.

“I’m not sure he [Rand Paul] has a strategy,” Rove said. He then went on to explain that each candidate running for president in 2016 must focus on the “bigger picture” instead of personal issues and he concluded that Rand Paul’s focus on Bill Clinton’s past is not in the best interest of the nation.

Palin Hits Rove At CPAC – Rove Hits Back On Fox

So much infighting going on in the Republican party right now, one can get whiplash trying to keep up. The latest battle was launched by failed Republican vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin as she delivered her 2013 CPAC speech. On a roll with her criticizm of everything from President Obama to Bloomberg’s Big Gulp Soda ban, Palin got carried away and attacked some in her own party.

One of these attacks referenced, though not by name, Karl Rove and his failed attempts in the last election to get more Republicans elected. In her attack, Palin said;

“If these experts who keep losing elections and keep getting rehired and getting millions — if they feel that strong about who gets to run in this party, then they should buck-up or stay in the truck. Buck up or run. The Architect can head on back to the great Lone Star State and put their name on some ballot –- though for their sakes, I hope they give themselves a discount on their consulting services.”

Of course, Karl Rove was not going to take this laying down. Rove went on Fox today and pushed back in an interview

“I’m a volunteer and I don’t take a dime with my work from American Crossroads and pay my own travel expenses out of my own pocket and I thought she was encouraging volunteer grassroots activity and I’m a volunteer,” Rove said. “Second of all, look, I appreciate encouragement I ought to go home to Texas and run for office and, it would be news if I did to have her support. But I don’t think I’m a good candidate — a kind of balding, fat guy. And second, if I did run for office and win, I would serve out my term and I wouldn’t leave office midterm.”

A definite zing to the failed governorship of Sarah Palin, who left office half way through her first term.

Knowing Sarah Palin like I know Sarah Palin, expect her to quickly run to her Facebook page or even an appearance on Fox to respond to Karl’s attack. Expect it in 3,2,1…

Bill O'Reilly Birthers Republican United States White House

Karl Rove Caution G.O.P Leaders on Birthers Conspiracy

They’re all still bat crazy, even if Karl Rove is attempting to sound like the voice of reason. In a recent interview with Bill O’Reilly, Rove cautioned the Republican leaders against their quick embrace of the Birthers. The Republican strategist put it this way;

Republicans had better be clear about this.

We had a problem in the 1950’s with the John Birch Society, and it took Bill Buckley standing up as a strong conservative and taking them on.

Within our party, we’ve got to be very careful about allowing these people who are the birthers and the 9/11-deniers to get too high a profile and say too much without setting the record straight.

He then implied that the White House is behind the Birthers conspiracy, calling it a trap. When asked by Bill O’Reilly if he believes a recent poll by Public Polling that indicate as much as 51% of Republicans are Birthers, Rove said;

I don’t know, but whatever it is, it ought to be less, because we need the leaders of our party to say “Look, stop falling into the trap of the White House and focus on the real issues.”

Asked again by Bill-O  if the strategy of the White House was to keep the conspiracy going, Rove answered, “sure it is.”

… because if we are where we are, which is we have a group of people out there who keep repeating this, and we’ve yet to get into a place where candidates are being asked about this in debates — look, don’t you think in the Fox debate or one of these debates that’s gonna be televised, candidates are going to be asked about this?

If  Rove is right, and this is a plot by the White House to keep the Republicans focused on where the President was born instead of the “real issues,” then it is a genius of a plan.  With over half of Republicans in this nation believing the President is a secret Kenyan agent sent to America as a child on a mission to become President, then destroy America from within by installing his Moslem beliefs, then I say keep the conspiracy going White House. It’s working brillantly!

Let the rest of this nation look upon the Republican Birthers as the fools they  are!
