Chris Matthews Confronts Donald Trump on the Birther Issue – Video

Following the last Republican debate of 2015, Donald Trump was interviewed by Chris Matthews of MSNBC. And at the end of the interview, Matthews wanted to clear the air and have Donald Trump explain his feelings about President Obama’s place of birth. But Donald, the unofficial father of the birther conspiracy, refused to participate.

“Is Donald Trump honest when he says that Barack Obama isn’t a legitimate president?” Matthews asked.

“I should not tell you this, but I do watch you a lot,” Trump said. He then repeatedly said that he didn’t want to answer that question because “once I answer the question they don’t want to talk about the economy, they don’t want to talk about all the other things.”

When Trump was told that he would have to answer the question in the general election, Trump said he would answer it then.

Matthews ended the interview by telling Trump that the birther nonsense is “a blemish. I think it’s your original sin. I’m an American, I think the president should be respected! I think there’s a little ethnic aspect to it, I don’t like it!”

And the media gets played again like a pawn falling even further into Trump’s trap and generating even more talk-time for the Republican front-runner. All Trump had to do? Say something stupid or say something stupid about someone. In this case, and on the same day as the last Republican debate for 2015, Trump resorted back to dump on Megyn Kelly of Fox News.

Ben Carson Goes After Ted Cruz – Cruz “spent his time schmoozing for big money”

Ben Carson was once considered the front-runner in the Republican race for the presidential nomination in 2016, but Carson has seen his support erode, mainly because of a political onslaught of attacks from Donald Trump. Ted Cruz, has no doubt gather up much of Carson’s support and has effectively taken second place behind Trump. Now, Carson is resorting to the politician in him and going after Ted Cruz.

In comparing himself and his work to that of Ted Cruz, Carson argued that unlike Cruz, he spent his life making life-or-death operating calls instead of attending swanky parties and raised campaign cash in an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.

“There’s no question as I haven’t spent a lot of time schmoozing and asking for big money and going to cocktail parties, but I’ve spent many a night in the operating room — cold, sterile place with a little child’s life on the line working very hard to preserve that,” Carson said.

“You know, it’s a very different kind of experience,” he said. “Lots of 2 a.m. in the morning calls and making snap decisions on what needs to be done.”

Of course, Carson’s attack came after The New York Times released audio of Cruz criticizing both Donald Trump and Ben Carson’s ability to be commander-in-chief.

“Who is prepared to be a commander-in-chief?” Cruz says on the audio. ?Who understands the threats we face? Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button? Now that’s a question of strength, but it’s also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for voters.”

Petition to Ban Donald Trump from United Kingdom Passes Half a Million Signatures

While Donald Trump gains more love and support from Republicans here in America, his prospects in the United Kingdom grows more and more grim.

A recent petition to ban Trump from entering the United Kingdom because of racist statements the Republican presidential candidate has made in recent days, has now grown to well over 500,000 signatures. The original goal was to get 100.000 votes in the hopes that Parliament will take up the motion. With over 500.000 people signing the petition, we now wait for the government to decide whether Trump will ever welcomed to the U.K ever!

In case you haven’t seen the petition, here it is!

Ted Cruz Opens HUGE 10 Point Lead on Trump in Iowa

So Ted Cruz’s decision not to attack Donald Trump is apparently paying off. While Donald wait for Cruz to throw the first punch, Cruz is quietly chipping away at Trump’s inevitability, slowly corroding the banks of Trump’s credence. While Trump cast a blind eye in Cruz’s direction, Cruz is forever nipping at Trump’s heels.

Ted Cruz has soared ahead of Donald Trump in a new Iowa poll, opening up a 10-point lead in the critical first-in-the-nation voting state.

The Des Moines Register and Bloomberg Politics poll released on Saturday finds Cruz commanding 31% of likely Republican caucus-goers in the state, 10 points ahead of Trump, who received 21%.

For Cruz, the poll represents a massive 21-point jump from a survey conducted by the two outlets in October.

Cruz and Trump will face off Tuesday in Las Vegas at the next Republican presidential debate, sponsored by CNN.

“We have more work to do, but we can definitively say the message is working,” Cruz’s Iowa state director, Bryan English, told CNN in a statement.

Major News Outlets Apparently Boycotting Bernie Sanders’ Campaign

Bernie Sanders is one of the Democratic Presidential candidate running alongside Hillary Clinton. He gets the bigger crowd at campaign events and the Democratic base is energized about his campaign. But you will never know that if you watch the major news where Sanders’ name is not even mention. It’s as if he’s not even running.

MediaMatters looked into this and confirmed that a Bernie Blockout is in effect.

Does that ratio seem out of whack? That’s the ratio of TV airtime that ABC World News Tonight has devoted to Donald Trump’s campaign (81 minutes) versus the amount of TV time World News Tonight has devoted to Bernie Sanders’ campaign this year. And even that one minute for Sanders is misleading because the actual number is closer to 20 seconds.

For the entire year.

That’s the rather stunning revelation from the Tyndall Report, which tracks the various flagship nightly news programs on NBC, CBS and ABC. The Report’s campaign findings cover the network evening newscasts from January 1 through the end of November.

The results confirm two media extremes in play this year, and not just at ABC News. The network newscasts are wildly overplaying Trump, who regularly attracts between 20-30 percent of primary voter support, while at the same time wildly underplaying Sanders, who regularly attracts between 20-30 percent of primary voter support. (Sanders’ supporters have longcomplained about the candidate’s lack of coverage.)

Obviously, Trump is the GOP frontrunner and its reasonable that he would get more attention than Sanders, who’s running second for the Democrats. But 234 total network minutes for Trump compared to just 10 network minutes for Sanders, as the Tyndall Report found?

Andrew Tyndall provided the breakdown by network of Sanders’ 10 minutes of coverage, via email [emphasis added]:

CBS Evening News: 6.4 minutes

NBC Nightly News: 2.9 minutes

ABC World News: 0.3

But how can they be? ABC News, for instance, clearly devoted more than 20 seconds to covering the Democratic debates, which featured news of Sanders, right?

As Tyndall explained to me, the number “counts stories filed about the Sanders campaign or from the Sanders campaign. Obviously he is mentioned in passing in other coverage of the Democratic field overall, specifically his performance in the debates.”

So in terms of stand-alone campaign stories this year, it’s been 234 minutes for Trump, compared to 10 minutes for Sanders. And at ABC World News Tonight, it’s been 81 minutes for Trump and less than one minute for Sanders.

Charles Barkley Slams Trump, his “Loser” Supporters and CNN – Video

It was just a matter of time before NBA Great, Charles Barkley, makes his feelings known on the upcoming presidential election and the cast of characters involved. In his regular commentary routine for NBA games on TNT, Charles Barkley unloaded on Donald Trump, his supporters and CNN!

“This Donald Trump thing has been fascinating, sad, funny … it’s all over the place,” Barkley said. It’s been sad to watch him insult people and then see his numbers go up. He started out by insulting Hispanics … now to lump all the Muslims together, that’s even more insulting.”

“Then you have these losers who love that because they’re afraid to look in the mirror and see why their life sucks. So they have to blame other people. Your life sucks for reasons because of you, not because of Hispanics. … It’s been said to watch every time he insults people, his poll numbers go out … (Trump) and (fellow GOP condtender) Ben Carson, to be honest with you.”

And he had a thing or two to say about CNN, sister-station to TNT

“To be honest with you, CNN has done an awful job this election,” Barkley said. “They have followed ratings and sound bites this entire cycle. Think about it. I love CNN. They’re part of our company, but they’ve been kissing butt chasing ratings. They’ve become like Fox News for the Republicans, to be honest for you. They follow every single sound bite just to get ratings for these debates. And it’s been sad and frustrating that our company has sold its soul for ratings.”

Barkley says he’s always voted Democrat, but he’s a supporter of GOP candidate John Kasich.

“For the first time i was thinking … i made a final decision to vote for a Republican,” Barkley said. “But (Kasich) has not been able to get any traction whatsoever, so to be honest, at this point I have no idea who I’m gong to vote for. I’m going to support (Ohio) Governor Kasich, but he’s got to be relevant and unfortunately he hasn’t been able to gain any ground.’

Billionaire Mark Cuban – Donald Trump is “trying to F*ck the Country” – Video

On an appearance on Larry Wilmore’s “Nightly Show,” Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, likened Donald Trump to a guy who “will say whatever it’ll take to get laid.” but in Trump’s case, Cuban said Trump is trying to do more than just getting laid. He’s trying to “F*ck” to country!”

“He’s like that guy who walks into the bar, and will say whatever it’ll take to get laid. Only in this case he’s not trying to f*ck some girl. He’s trying to f*ck the country,” he said.

Cuban said he actually like Trump and admitted they are friends. But like most people, Cuban said Trump is that “stupid” friend who say “stupid sh*t” every once in a while.

“Everybody’s got that friend that they pick on, that one guy that you know has a good heart and wants to do the right thing but does some of the stupidest shit all the time,” he said. “I actually like him and get along with him, but he’s kinda gone off.”

Let’s Get This Straight: Donald Trump Will Not Be President

He won’t even be the Republican nominee in 2016.

Yes, I know, the New York Times just published a poll that has Trump high atop the GOP field and gaining strength as the one candidate who will keep us safe. He’s everywhere on cable and network news and is a constant topic of conversation on social media. Even Hillary Clinton has stopped dismissing him as a joke and is responding to his absurd claims. This is necessary for now because Trump will not go away on his own. He has to be shown the door and that will happen. It will be messy, but it will happen.

Why am I so sure about the Donald? Because he’s essentially an excellent salesman but a political fraud who knows how to sell himself, and he’s attached himself to a message and a persona that insulates him from criticism for saying outrageously xenophobic, racist, sexist, anti-Semitic and just plain wrong things on a daily basis. What he has done marvelously well is to tap into the country’s fears about terrorism and he has accused the president of not only not doing enough, but of purposely allowing us to be vulnerable.

Trump doesn’t need to repeat the lie about Obama not being a citizen because he has better ammunition: the president is the problem, the other, the un-American, them. He’s also been able to reduce Jeb Bush to a quivering mass of jello, make fun of Marco Rubio’s youth, calls Ben Carson a know-nothing, and says that of course Chris Christie knew about the GW Bridge lane closings despite the fact that not one shred of evidence has been credibly produced that he did.

My question, then, is this: Is this what we want in a President? The answer is no.

The simple reason is that not even Donald Trump can continue to run his campaign this way. As soon as Trump stops saying vile things, he’s finished, because the truth is that he really has no platform, no singular idea other than hate, no economic plan, no foreign policy, no domestic policy and a lifetime of conflicting views on issues on which most Republicans will not ever compromise.

Right now he gets a pass at the debates because of the sheer number of GOP candidates still in the race. Come January, the real campaign begins and I’m assuming that Trump is not going to be prepared for it. Voters will want real answers for their economic problems and they’ll want details as to how Trump is going to carry out his plan to throw out 11 million people from this country and what it would take to barricade us so that other people can’t come in.

They’ll want to know what he wants to do with taxes, legal issues, health care and business policy. He’s said some things about these, but the media and the people will demand answers.  And he either won’t have them or he’ll give vague answers or he’ll do what he’s doing now about national security–he’ll try to fake it. This isn’t the midterm or the early semester quiz. It’s the final exam and Trump is going to fail.

In addition, as the GOP field narrows, Trump is going to need to say even more because there will be fewer voices to take up precious airtime. This is where he will falter because he will need to become less radical and say fewer provocative things. Trump has built his campaign on those two pillars. Once he stops, his reason for running will be gone. The Republican Party is hoping that this happens in January before he can do real damage. I’m not sure the party will get its wish, but ultimately the balloon will deflate.

I’ve certainly been caught off-guard by Trump’s durability and political stamina. It’s delayed the ascent of a viable candidate and will only hurt the GOP for as long as his campaign lingers.

But rest assured my fellow Americans, Donald Trump will not be elected president in 2016. And for that, we can be thankful.

Trump Supporter Goes Nuts – Says Obama “Lies”, Trump Tells the Truth – Video

CNN brought on a group of Trump supporters and asked them a few questions based on stuff Trump has said, from his stance on immigration to his most recent remarks that all Muslims should be banned from entering the United States. It was obvious that these supporters were deep in Trump’s camp, and painfully obvious that they saw nothing wrong with any of Trump’s statements.

But Susan Demelus of New Hampshire, who is a state Republican Representative, needed to express herself about the “liars” in politics. And according to Miss Demelus, President Obama is the biggest liar of them all.

“We’ve got people in positions of power who I KNOW FOR A FACT are liars. Liars!” she said. “I watch the TV — My president comes on the TV and he lies to me! I know he’s lying. He lies all the time. I don’t believe any one of them, not one. I believe Donald.”

She continued;

“I’m telling you, he says what I’m thinking! Never been involved in politics, never had an interest in any of it. Now suddenly, he is resonating. He is resonating with the people and he’s speaking our minds. Our minds!”

Trump’s “Ban All Muslims” Comment Gives him Bigger Lead in South Carolina

A recently released Fox News poll shows Donald Trump’s “Ban all Muslims” anti-constitution comment has helped him among Republicans in his run for president. The poll shows for example, that Republicans in South Carolina not only stuck with Donald Trump even after his anti-Muslims statement, the poll shows Trump actually getting more Republicans in South Caroling jumping on board.

That poll, released by FOX News on Wednesday night, was taken in a 72-hour period of time when Trump made the comments calling for a ““total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

“It looks like his comments help him in South Carolina,” the FOX News report said. “Support for Trump increased eight points after his statement — from 30 percent the first two nights vs. 38 percent the last two nights. The shift is within the margin of sampling error.”

Trump has 35 percent of total support in the poll with neurosurgeon Ben Carson receiving 15 percent of support and Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio receiving 14 percent of support each.

Bush, Christie and the other jokers somehow managed to rake in a massive 3 percent a piece.
