Cleveland Doctor Forced To Leave Country on Donald Trump’s Order

I find it hard to believe that a nation of immigrants is refusing entry to other immigrants, based for the most part, on the immigrant’s religion. But for Donald Trump and his Republican backers, this is exactly the outcome they are after.

Hours after landing in New York on Saturday, a doctor at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic was forced to leave the country based on an executive order issued by President Donald Trump that bans visitors from seven predominantly Muslim countries for 90 days.

Her flight to Saudi Arabia took off minutes before a federal judge in New York put a temporary stay on turning back people in such situations.

Suha Abushamma, 26, is in the first year of an Internal Medicine residency program at the clinic and held an H-1B visa for workers in “specialty occupations.” Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, she holds a passport from Sudan, one of the seven countries from which Trump barred visitors.

On Saturday evening, Abushamma was forced to make a choice by Customs and Border Protection agents: She could leave the country voluntarily and withdraw her visa — or she could be forcibly deported, which would have prevented her from coming back to the United States for at least five years. The latter also would have resulted in a permanent black mark on her immigration record.

She asked for a delay but was refused, she said in a FaceTime interview with ProPublica while she was flying over the Atlantic on her way back to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is not one of the countries on Trump’s list, but because Abushamma’s passport is from Sudan, she was told she is covered by the executive order.

“I’m only in this country to be a doctor, to work and to help people — that’s it,” she said. “There’s no other reason.”

London’s Mayor – Donald Trump is “Ignorant” About Islam

On Monday, Donald Trump made an exception to his “ban all Muslims” from entering the United States policy. The exception to Donald’s rule is the newly elected Muslim mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

But after Khan criticized Donald for not having a basic understanding of Islam, we should all expect Donald to call Khan a name or two, revoke the exception that would have allowed Khan to visit the United States and reinforce his “ban all Muslims” policy.

It’s what any sensible 3rd grader would do.

“This isn’t just about me,” Sadiq Khan said Tuesday, according to The Associated Press. “It’s about my friends, my family and everyone who comes from a background similar to mine, anywhere in the world.

“Donald Trump’s ignorant view of Islam could make both our countries less safe — it risks alienating mainstream Muslims and plays into the hands of extremists,” he added.
London elected Khan on Friday, making him the first Muslim mayor of a major Western capital.

Khan, a Labour Party member and former human rights lawyer, is the son of Pakistani immigrants.

London’s Muslim Mayor – Trump will Stop Me from Visiting America

Although Donald Trump’s “ban all Muslims” policy has not gone over well with sensible Americans, much of the Republican Party – even some in Congress – have endorsed and signed on to his nonsense. And now the first Muslim mayor of London and one of America’s biggest ally is speaking out.

“I want to go to America to meet with and engage with American mayors,” Sadiq Khan, London’s new mayor told Time magazine in an interview conducted after he won the mayoral race over the weekend.

“If Donald Trump becomes the president, I’ll be stopped from going there by virtue of my faith, which means I can’t engage with American mayors and swap ideas,” he added.

Khan, whose opponents sought to characterize him as a radical, accused his rivals of taking a page “straight out of the Donald Trump playbook.”

“Conservative tacticians thought those sort of tactics would win London and they were wrong. I’m confident that Donald Trump’s approach to politics won’t win in America,” he told Time.

Terrorist Group Features Donald Trump in Recruitment Video – Video

American Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump is showing his love for the country and how he will “Make America Great Again,” by doing the work of the terrorists.

In an newly released terrorist recruitment video by terror group al Shabaab, a clip of the Republican candidate proposing a ban on all Muslims entering the United States is prominently featured. Trump’s call for the ban is then followed by a terror leader, telling “Muslims of the West,” to “either leave or you fight!”

Before Trump’s appearance in the nearly 52-minute video, the al Qaeda-linked Islamic extremist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a 2011 U.S. drone strike, is shown lecturing: “Muslims of the West, take heed and learn from the lessons of history. There are ominous clouds gathering in your horizon. Yesterday, America was a land of slavery, segregation, lynching and Ku Klux Klan. And tomorrow, it will be a land of religious discrimination and concentration camps.”

Trump then appears in a clip from a stump speech, saying, “Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the [censored] is going on.” The crowd enthusiastically cheers Trump’s words.

Footage of Al-Awlaki again appears. “The West will eventually turn against its Muslim citizens,” he says. He adds that American Muslims have two choices: “You either leave or you fight.” Al-Awlaki extols Nidal Hasan, the former U.S. Army psychiatrist who killed 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009.

Trump’s “Ban All Muslims” Comment Gives him Bigger Lead in South Carolina

A recently released Fox News poll shows Donald Trump’s “Ban all Muslims” anti-constitution comment has helped him among Republicans in his run for president. The poll shows for example, that Republicans in South Carolina not only stuck with Donald Trump even after his anti-Muslims statement, the poll shows Trump actually getting more Republicans in South Caroling jumping on board.

That poll, released by FOX News on Wednesday night, was taken in a 72-hour period of time when Trump made the comments calling for a ““total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

“It looks like his comments help him in South Carolina,” the FOX News report said. “Support for Trump increased eight points after his statement — from 30 percent the first two nights vs. 38 percent the last two nights. The shift is within the margin of sampling error.”

Trump has 35 percent of total support in the poll with neurosurgeon Ben Carson receiving 15 percent of support and Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio receiving 14 percent of support each.

Bush, Christie and the other jokers somehow managed to rake in a massive 3 percent a piece.

Mohammed Ali Responds to Trump’s “Ban All Muslims” Proposal

“I am a Muslim and there is nothing Islamic about killing innocent people in Paris, San Bernardino, or anywhere else in the world,” Ali, who some consider the greatest boxer ever, said in the statement. “True Muslims know that the ruthless violence of so called Islamic Jihadists goes against the very tenets of our religion.”

Ali also asked Muslims to “stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda.”

“I believe that our political leaders should use their position to bring understanding about the religion of Islam and clarify that these misguided murderers have perverted people’s views on what Islam really is,” he said.

Mohammed Ali was of course responding to Republican leader Donald Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States. In other words, Trump is essentially pushing a religious test to come to America. Something that clearly violates the constution, but is apparently supported by much of the Republican Party.

Muslim Congressman Gets Death Threat After Trump’s “Ban All Muslims” Statement

The same day the leader of the Republican party, and current Republican presidential leader, Donald Trump, proposed banning all Muslims from entering the United States, even Muslims born in America and those overseas fighting in America’s wars, one of the only two Muslims in Congress called Trump’s comment “asinine.” That same day, the congressman, Rep. Andre Carson, received a death threat.

Rep. Andre Carson, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, denounced Trump’s comments, saying, “Today, Donald Trump once again proved he lacks the judgement to serve as Commander in Chief of this great nation. It is unbelievable that a candidate for President of the United States has made such an asinine comment.”

Carson’s office said the Congressman received the death threat and it was immediately forwarded on to Capitol Police.
