Bill DeBlasio on Rudy Giuliani – His “Political Trick” is “Absolutely Pitiful”

The current mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, called out the ignorant rhetoric of former mayor Rudy Giuliani today, calling Giuliani’s dumb political claim that the President doesn’t love America, “absolutely pitiful.

“Rudy Giuliani decided to attack the President’s love of his own country, his patriotism, his devotion to the United States of America. It’s absolutely – I think it’s pitiful,” Mayor de Blasio told reporters.

“I find it a cheap political trick for Rudy Giuliani to question the President’s love of the country. That is just – that is stooping very, very low, even for him,” de Blasio said.

De Blasio and other Democrats were responding to the former mayor’s comments on Wednesday night.

“I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that this President loves America,” Giuliani said at a dinner for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who’s considering a run for the White House.

Obama, Giuliani told those gathered at Manhattan’s 21 Club, “doesn’t love you. He doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up: To love this country.”

Cold Weather – Kentucky Police Issues Arrest Warrant for Frozen’s Queen Elsa – Video

Makes perfect sense to me. Since Queen Elsa came on the scene, the weather has progressively gotten worse. I agree with the Kentucky police here. I think Elsa has something to do with the weather!

In a Facebook post, the Kentucky police wrote, “Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song ‘Let it Go!’ As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous.”

The warrant was covered by the local news.

Look, It’s George Bush… Oops, I Mean Jeb

I mean come on! Do you really think that because Jeb went on television and tried his best to throw Georgie under the bus by saying he’s his own man, that he’s really that different to Georgie?

“I recognize that as a result, my views will often be held up in comparison to theirs,” Jeb Bush said, speaking about his father and his infamous brother, Georgie. “But I am my own man.”

If you really think so then just take a quick look at Jeb’s advisors. They’re the same group of misfits that advised Georgie to lie us into a war in Iraq.

The Washington Post said, “the 21 names announced by his campaign-in-waiting as supporters and advisers on foreign policy did not provide much indication of what direction Bush would take.

“The list represents the full spectrum of views within the Republican foreign policy establishment — from relative moderates, including former secretaries of state George P. Shultz and James A. Baker III, to staunch neoconservatives such as Iraq war architect Paul D. Wolfowitz.”

Yea Jeb, you’re not George,  *wink wink*

MSNBC to cancel The Reid Report

It’s coming through the grapevine that the show hosted by Joy Reid on MSNBC, The Reid Report, will be canceled and that Mrs Reid was notified of the network’s decision on Thursday.

Media watchers have long speculated whether the “Lean Forward” network will shake up its struggling daytime lineup, especially after 1 p.m. ET host Ronan Farrow’s eponymous show fell to a stunning 11k viewers in the ages 25-54 demo just a few weeks ago. While Farrow has been the subject of most cancellation rumors, The Reid Report has frequently been named as well.

No word yet on when Reid’s last show will be broadcast.

Conservatives’ Only Weapon against ISIS? Call them “Radical Islamic Extremists” – Video

These conservatives have paraded around the conservative news media calling the President, among other things, “weak” for holding a three-day summit on ISIS and not using the words, ” radical Islamic extremists” while talking about the group. The president has already described them as terrorists, but conservatives think that using the term, “radical Islamic extremists” would force ISIS to magically change its mind about their brutality and live in peace and tranquility like Monks.

So when one of these conservatives came on Shepard Smith’s show armed with his talking-points that Obama is not doing enough against the terrorist group, Smith wanted a little more beef than just talk. So he pushed back and asked for specifics. But of course, there were none as the talker came only armed with… talk!

The talker is former George Bush Ambassador for Special Political Affairs, Ambassador Stuart Holliday. His mission was to continue parroting the talking point that Obama is weak for not calling ISIS names like “radical Islamic extremists,” a talking point conservatives parroted into a nifty little analogy – that Obama’s three days summit on ISIS terrorists is like holding a fire drill in the middle of a fire. But when Shep asked the talker what else should be done, Holliday had no ideas. Nothing!

Walmart Will Raise Its Minimum Wage to $10 an Hour

Well, it’s a start!

On Thursday, Walmart announced that it will raise all of its full-time and part-time employees’ pay to at least $9 an hour starting in April. The lowest wage will rise to $10 an hour by February of next year.

In a press release, it said it is also raising pay for the compensation range for each position, and all told says that about 500,000 employees will see a raise from the changes. It also says the raises will mean its average hourly wage for full-time workers will increase from $12.85 to $13 an hour and the average for part-time workers will increase from $9.48 to $10 an hour.

It also promised that workers “will have more control over their schedules.” The wage increases will cost more than $1 billion this fiscal year.

In announcing the changes, CEO Doug McMillion acknowledged some of the criticism that the company has sacrificed customer loyalty because of its pay practices. “We have work to do to grow the business. We know what customers want from a shopping experience, and we’re investing strategically to exceed their expectations and better position Walmart for the future,” he said. “We’re strengthening investments in our people to engage and inspire them to deliver superior customer experiences.”

Rudy Giuliani – We Didn’t Take Over Iraq, So Obama Does Not “Love America”

What did Rudy Giuliani say this time that got his name plastered all over the internet? Based on absolutely nothing, the former mayor of New York and current September 11th fame-seeker said, that the president of the United States does not love America.

Yea, he said that.

This of course, is based on Giuliani’s expert expertise on all things Islam and his uncanny ability to associate Islam with terrorism. As far as Giuliani and the rest of the Republican party are concerned, Islam and terrorism are the same, and with this association made and the fact that President Obama fails to see the connection, well, Giuliani figures that the president just don’t love America.

He was addressing a group of supporters at a private event when he came to the conclusion that the president hates this country. And present at this private gathering was none other than Gov. Scott Walker, a potential 2016 Republican candidate.

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

With Walker sitting just a few seats away, Giuliani continued by saying that “with all our flaws we’re the most exceptional country in the world. I’m looking for a presidential candidate who can express that, do that and carry it out.”

“And if it’s you Scott, I’ll endorse you,” he added. “And if it’s somebody else, I’ll support somebody else.”

After the event, Giuliani then explained and doubled down on why he made the remark. Apparently, when George Bush invaded Iraq on false pretense and sanctioned thousands of troops to die needlessly, Giuliani now thinks their deaths should have been justified with America “taking land.” Who knows? Maybe we were supposed to take over Iraq or something.

“What country has left so many young men and women dead abroad to save other countries without taking land? This is not the colonial empire that somehow he has in his hand. I’ve never felt that from him. I felt that from [George] W. [Bush]. I felt that from [Bill] Clinton. I felt that from every American president, including ones I disagreed with, including [Jimmy] Carter. I don’t feel that from President Obama.”

Fox News Calls Rev. Al Sharpton a “Sleazy Assclown” on Air – Video

Yea, yea, I know. This is Fox News, so we should expect name calling to pass as news.

On his broadcast on Wednesday, Sean Hannity showed a clip of Obama’s former Senior Adviser David Axelrod, correctly saying that in the past six years of President Obama’s presidency, there have not been any “major scandals.” Yes, that is a correct statement but this is Fox News and like expected, on cue, Sean Hannity began naming all the man-made hysteria Fox News pushed as “scandals.” These include “scandals” like Benghazi, Healthcare.gov, the IRS so-called scandal, Fast and Furious, etc., etc., etc.

Among the panelists was Geraldo Riveria, who timidly began saying the things Hannity named were not real scandals, but it was another panelist named Bernard McGuirk who stole the show with his personal attack on the Rev. Al Sharpton, criticizing the amount of times he visited the White House as “the real scandal.”

“You know, they didn’t go anywhere so they weren’t ‘scandals’ per say, they were scandalous,” Bernard said, dismissing Hannity’s list. He went on to name a few more so-call “scandals” that Fox News harped on in the past, like the apparent “flirting” by Obama in South Africa when he attended Nelson Mandela’s funeral and another apparent “flirting” edition by the president in California.

Then Bernard said this: “But I would say this. Speaking of scandalous, the biggest scandal of the whole administration is the fact that he has Geraldo’s – to borrow from Joe Biden – Geraldo’s butt-buddy Al Sharpton, that sleazy assclown Al Sharpton to the White House…,” to which Sean Hannity is heard saying, “that’s true, 85 times.”

This is news! This is Fox News!
