President Donald Trump said his attorney Rudy Giuliani, who has been leading efforts to overturn the results of the Nov. 3 general election, has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Trump wished the 76-year-old former New York mayor well in a tweet on Sunday, saying “we will carry on!!!”
.@RudyGiuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!
Wanna work for Donald Trump? Then you must know how to lie… or as Rudy Giuliani puts it, you must “learn all the facts.”
But how can you learn facts when Donald Trump and his administration is built on lies and corruption? And I’m not just saying that because of my inability to see anything favorable about Donald Trump, I’m calling it as it is. Donald Trump and his administration has lied and misled the American people every chance they get!
But I digress.
After going on television last week to tell the Americans that Donald Trump knew about the Stormy Daniels payment and has in fact, paid back the $130,000 in hush money his lawyer paid to the porn star, money paid days before the election to keep the porn star quiet about her sexual relationship with Donald Trump – Giuliani, who spoke with a commanding authority of the facts last week is now changing his tune. Apparently, he only knows half the truth… or half the lies depending on how you look at it.
This week, Donald Trump’s newest lawyer backtracked his claim that Trump knew about the hush money payment.
WOW! Not only did the FBI break all standard rules and precedents when it comes to interfering in a presidential election, but the agency – or someone in the agency with knowledge of the workings of the FBI – apparently held secret meeting/s with the Trump campaign telling the campaign of the plan to re-open a review in the Clinton Email scandal, before the rest of the world knew.
Trump campaign adviser, Rudy Giuliani confirmed this earlier today.

With people like this advising Donald Trump, are there any questions as to why Trump says the dumbest things?
Top Donald Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani claimed Sunday that Democrats could steal a close election by having dead people vote in inner cities, while vice presidential candidate Mike Pence said the ticket will “absolutely accept the result of the election.”
“I’m sorry, dead people generally vote for Democrats rather than Republicans,” the former New York City mayor told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.” “You want me to (say) that I think the election in Philadelphia and Chicago is going to be fair? I would have to be a moron to say that.”
If you can turn to anyone in this world to defend a degrading statement about women like Donald Trump’s, “grab em by the pussy,” you can count on Rudy Giuliani. After the last presidential debate ended, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews interviewed Rudy to see if he would do what everyone expected. Giuliani did not disappoint.
Asked if he would stand up for a defendant who confessed on tape to “grabbing women by their crotch,” Giuliani tried to change the focus to Bill Clinton before answering that he is “absolutely comfortable” with defending such a person.
Show of hands. Who among us is surprised by this latest statement from the Republican presidential nominee’s top adviser, Rudy Giuliani? Who? Anyone? No one? Now that’s just sad that we all know the lowdown, dirty life-form Rudy identifies with. His sexist, racist ways are no secret.
Top Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani referred to the Republican nominee as “a man who has this kind of economic genius,” contrasting the GOP hopeful with Hillary Clinton, referring to the Democratic candidate as “a woman” who only produces work for the FBI.
Speaking of reports that Donald Trump claimed a $916 million loss on his 1995 income taxes, Giuliani said: “Don’t you think a man who has this kind of economic genius is a lot better for the United States than a woman — and the only thing she’s ever produced is a lot of work for the FBI checking out her emails?”
Rudy Giuliani has said and done some stupid things in the past. And today was no exception. In an interview on Fox News, the former Republican mayor of New York offered his proof that Hillary Clinton is seriously ill, “go online” he said, “and take a look at the videos for yourself.”
“She doesn’t need to campaign,” the former New York City mayor, who has emerged as one of the Republican nominee’s most visible surrogates, said on “Fox News Sunday.” “She has the New York Times, she has the [New York] Daily News, she has ABC, she has CBS, she has NBC. She has an entire media empire that constantly demonizes Donald Trump and fails to point out that she hasn’t had a press conference in 300 days — 200 days, 100 days, I don’t know how long — and fails to point out several signs of illness by her.”
Fox News host Shannon Bream noted that the Clinton campaign has said “there’s nothing factual” to claims about her health.
“All you’ve got to do is go online,” Giuliani replied. “Go online and put down ‘Hillary Clinton illness’ and take a look at the videos for yourself.”
The irony of Giuliani, the mayor of New York City during the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, citing Internet videos to prove a conspiracy theory was not lost on some viewers.
The Clinton campaign has pushed back against conspiratorial claims about her health in recent days after fake medical records for the former secretary of state surfaced on right-wing websites.
“As Secretary Clinton’s longtime physician, I released a medical statement during the campaign indicating that she is in excellent health,” Lisa Bardack said in a statement released by the Clinton campaign on Thursday. “I have recently been made aware of allegedly ‘leaked’ medical documents regarding Secretary Clinton with my name on them. These documents are false, were not written by me and are not based on any medical facts. To reiterate what I said in my previous statement, Secretary Clinton is in excellent health and fit to serve as President of the United States.”
Former NYC Mayor and staunch Republican Rudy Giuliani, attacked Hillary Clinton in a radio interview with John Catsimatidis (AM 970) today, saying that the former Secretary of State “got away with murder” in the Democratic Debate and further saying that the debate “was like a love-fest.”
Giuliani claimed that “Bernie Sanders virtually applauded Hillary for destroying her emails,” and stated that he has “a list of 13 criminal statutes that Hillary allegedly violated with her conduct,” referencing Hillary’s decision to use a personal server for her emails when she was Secretary of State. Maybe he couldn’t get that list to Anderson Cooper in time for the debate.
Did you know that Republicans are fixated Hillary’s emails… and Benghazi!?!
Must use taxpayer’s dollars to conduct phony investigations into Clinton. Must.Pull.Her.Poll.Numbers.Down!
In other words, it’s all fine and good. Let Donald say whatever he wants to say, let him do whatever he wants to do. As long as the Republican party benefits in some way, then no harm done.
“I think it’s getting very interesting and unlike a lot Republicans I think Trump is making it interesting,” the Giuliani said on the Cats Roundtable on AM970 The Answer on Sunday morning, adding he didn’t agree completely with his comments on Mexican immigrants.
“I think Trump has enlivened the race,” Giuliani stated.
Giuliani added that more people will watch the first Republican debate in August because Trump is in it, and the larger audience will help any candidate that performs well.
“I think Trump is helping them in a way, unlike other Republicans. First of all that debate, in the first week of August on Fox — because Trump is in that debate it’s going to get three times the audience. Which means, if anyone of these people performs well, they’ll be three times as many people who get effected by it than if Trump is not in the race.”
You just can’t keep this racist out of the lime-light. Just days after attacking President Obama for “not loving America,” the former mayor of New York went home to Fox News and this time, attacked a 17-year-old dead black teenager named, Mike Brown.
Of course Mike is not around to defend himself and we will never get his side of the story, but that is not necessary for the likes of Rudy Giuliani who repeated the talking points of Officer Darren Wilson, the man who killed Mike Brown. And although it is a known fact that Darren Wilson did not have any information about Brown robbing a convenience store, Giuliani used this insignificant detail to justify killing the teenager.
“A man committed a robbery, attempted to assault a police officer, and the police officer, to save his life, shot him,” Giuliani told Fox News on Thursday. “The police officer did his duty. The police officer should be commended for what he did. He did exactly what you should do.”
I feel for Starbucks. I think I’ll go get me a cup. I’m appreciating the coffee even more now that its CEO has taken a stance against Rudy Giuliani’s foolish comment.
The Starbucks (SBUX) CEO called out former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for questioning President Obama’s “love” for his country.
“As an American, I find Rudy Giuliani’s vicious comments about President Obama ‘not loving America’ to be profoundly offensive to both the President and the Office,” Schultz said in a statement.
Giuliani caused a political stir this week with his remarks about Obama at a dinner event featuring Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, in a speech first reported by Politico. He said he didn’t believe Obama “loves America.”
In an interview with CNN on Thursday, Giuliani followed up by saying he believed Obama “was brought up in an atmosphere in which he was taught to be a critic of America.”
I watched this clip a few times and saw nothing but a bitter old and ignorant man who, when given a chance to apologize for a dumb statement he made – a statement he knows is not true – chose to double down on his ignorance.
“I’m right about this, I have no doubt about it,” Giuliani said, referring to a previous statement that President Obama doesn’t love America or Americans. “I do not withdraw my words” he said proudly.
“To say that he doesn’t love america, I mean, that he could view foreign policy as a Democrat might view it and through a different lens than you or a Republican might see it, you can understand the differences between you,” Megyn Kelly of Fox News said to Giuliani. She then asked, “but to condemn his patriotism? To question his love of America?”
Another chance for Giuliani to come to terms with how dumb his statement was, but of course, he again doubled down saying he is not questioning Obama’s patriotism, but that he cannot find any instances where the president showed love for the country or where Mr. Obama called out America’s exceptionalism.
Maybe Giuliani hasn’t seen any instances where the president highlighted America’s exceptionalism because Giuliani doesn’t listen to the president. Exactly one month ago in his State of the Union Address, America was on full display throughout the president’s speech. Here is just a small sample of what the president had to say.
“I believe this because over and over in my six years in office, I have seen America at its best. I’ve seen the hopeful faces of young graduates from New York to California, and our newest officers at West Point, Annapolis, Colorado Springs, New London. I’ve mourned with grieving families in Tucson and Newtown, in Boston, in West Texas, and West Virginia. I’ve watched Americans beat back adversity from the Gulf Coast to the Great Plains, from Midwest assembly lines to the Mid-Atlantic seaboard. I’ve seen something like gay marriage go from a wedge issue used to drive us apart to a story of freedom across our country, a civil right now legal in states that seven in 10 Americans call home.
Just about every speech by Mr. Obama highlights America’s exceptionalism. But pointing this out to the likes of Mr. Giuliani would be a waste of time. Sometimes when someone shows their ignorance, you just have to let them wallow in it.
