Mika Brzezinski – “Donald Trump is Completely Unhinged” – Video

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski offered a stunning and blistering piece on Friday’s Morning Joe. In a commentary, she admitted a lot of people – including his close advisors and congressional Republicans – are afraid to say the obvious: that Donald Trump “is completely unhinged and getting worse by the day!”

“He’s not well. That’s the bottom line. There’s no way anyone who knows Donald Trump, but has not bought in some way, could watch him last night and not come away with the feeling that the President of the United States is completely unhinged and getting worse by the day.”

Laura Ingraham on Jeb Bush – “there has to be something wrong with you”

The Bush family cannot do anything wrong, no matter what the rest of the country thinks, no matter what the rest if the world thinks. And that sentiment was demonstrated in a recent interview when Jeb Bush said his brother George was absolutely right to invade Iraq, and that he, Jeb, would have done the very same thing too, even “knowing what we know now.”

In an interview on Fox, Jeb – a potential candidate for the Republican nomination for president in 2016 – acknowledged that even “knowing what we know now,” he would invade Iraq just as his brother did back in 2004.

“I would,” Jeb said. “And so would have Hillary Clinton, just to remind everybody.”

But as I mentioned above, the vast majority of Americans and the world disagree with the Bush family on this one, even some in the higher echelons of the Republican party. Laura Ingraham – another candidate for the Republican nomination for president in 2016 – concluded that Jeb Bush must be insane.

“You can’t still think that going into Iraq, now, as a sane human being, was the right thing to do,” Ingraham said on her radio show. “If you do, there has to be something wrong with you.”

But it should come as no surprise that “knowing what we know now,” Jeb would still invade. In another bombshell recording, Jeb told a group of donors that his brother George, the same former president who authored the failed foreign policy of the Iraq war, was one of his top foreign policy advisers.

This is not a joke people. These Bush (es) just don’t get it. Although everybody see the fault in starting a war based on lies, Jeb is prepared to walk in his brother’s footsteps again even given what we know now.

Maybe Laura Ingraham is right. Maybe there is something insane about that family.

My Year In Review

Every time my birthday  rolls around it seems like it was just yesterday I was a year younger; time really does seem to fly. Though going from 18 to 19, it seemed like a lifetime.

It’s amazing that a year ago I was enjoying my summer with my girlfriend of three years. My memory is a little foggy but I’m pretty sure I spent the afternoon with her, as was the norm with me and her. We exchanged gifts, considering our anniversary landed on the same day; I got her a key necklace with a heart as it’s main part, she also got me a necklace in the shape of a heart with our names inscribed in it. I’m not sure where that necklace went to..

I entered college that September at William Paterson University. Man oh man that was quite an experience. In a period of four months I watched my relationship crumble, learned that college isn’t easy, and that it’s a dog eat dog world. I left in late November, partly due to the fact I just wasn’t ready to be in college and because they locked my account since I apparently wasn’t a “legal” US citizen (don’t mind my SSN, bank account, drivers license, etc).

My parents were supportive of me leaving WPU, my dad was too caught up arguing with the school over their actions, but I felt alone in my world. I didn’t want to be the kid sitting around doing nothing with his life but also didn’t want to instantly jump into college again. So, I did what any sensible 18 year old would do, I became a certified bartender.

Being a bartender seemed like a cool idea, of course from a business perspective, paying an 18 year old to handle alcohol is a “no-no”. With that plan failing I just started looking around for whatever was out there. The job hunt had it’s many lows but, every now and then it provided me with a job and timeless memories.

I knew though that I couldn’t survive working as a promoter for clubs or working part time in a retail store. I took a deep deep breath and registered back up to go to college. Brace yourself Bergen County College, I’m coming for you!

One year, 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, has felt like a lifetime to me. My world has flipped upside down more than once and has undergone a change in every way. I’ve changed my friends, my style, my attitude, my view on life, and much much more. The 18 year old teen who walked cautiously into college a year ago has been replaced by a 19 year old who feels like he’s ready to take on the world.

Mitt Romney, Donald Trump, Birthers – All The Same, All Insane

Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee to run for President of the United States in November 2012 and even with that very important task handed to him by the Republican voters and the party leaders, Romney has chose to align himself with the likes of Donald Trump, a guy who also considered running for president on the Republican ticket and based his exploratory campaign on Birtherism – the belief that President Obama is not a natural born American citizen.

Even after President Obama issued both his short form and long form birth certificate, (something no other president in the history of this nation ever had to do), Donald Trump is still pushing his foolish unproven theory about the President’s birth. At a recent interview about an upcoming fundraiser, Trump acknowledged that Romney was lucky to have The Donald raise money for his campaign, then he dived into his Birthers rant;

“Look, it’s very simple,” said Trump, who has spent the past 13 months questioning Obama’s constitutional eligibility to occupy the White House (and only doubled downwith his stubborn skepticism after Obama produced a long-form birth certificate, certifying he was born on Aug. 4, 1961, in Hawaii, and then hilariously roasted him at the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner. “A book publisher came out three days ago and said that in his written synopsis of his book,” Trump went on, “he said he was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia. His mother never spent a day in the hospital.”

Trump will join Romney in a fundraising event. Expect Trump to continue exploiting the uninformed and willfully ignorant in the Republican base to maximize Romney’s donations. And expect the gullible Birthers and Republicans to donate heavily.
