Mitt Romney Visits Pacquiao Before Fight. Pacquiao Gets Knocked Out In 6th Round

We’re not implying anything here, but since losing the presidential election in November, Mitt Romney has been popping up all over the place trying to appear human, trying to appear normal. The multi-millionaire Republican who tried to convince Americans that he was “just like us” was recently seen pumping his own gas and pushing a shopping-cart at COSTCO. And more recently, Romney was seen attending a Pacquiao fight.

Manny Pacquiao – an unbelievably skilled boxer who has won world titles in eight weight divisions – went through his normal preparation for last night’s match against Juan Manuel Marquez, except last night before his match started, Pacquiao had a visitor – Mitt The Loser Romney.

”Hello Manny. I ran for president. I lost,” Romney told the fighter, according to Pacquiao publicist Fred Sternburg. “I wish you good luck tonight,” Romney said, displaying his usual strange smile. “Have a great night. Good to see you.”

Romney and his wife then took their ringside seat and watched as Paquiao got laid out in the sixth round, like wet clothes being laid out to dry.

“I threw a perfect punch,” Marquez later said. “I knew Manny could knock me out at any time.”

Yes, that was true and it was definitely expected that Pacquiao would win last night’s match without breaking a sweat. But something was different last night and even Pacquiao felt it.

“I thought I was getting him in the last couple of rounds,” Pacquiao said. “But I got hit by a strong punch. I never expected that punch.”

My two cents: Pacquiao just felt the effect of the punch in the sixth round. The punch was actually thrown before the match when he agreed to meet with the Republican loser.

President Obama And Mitt Romney Will Dine On Thursday

‘I do think he did a terrific job running the Olympics,’ Obama said. ‘And you know, that skill set of trying to figure out how do we make something work better applies to the federal government. There are a lot of ideas that I don’t think are partisan ideas but are just smart ideas about how can we make the federal government more customer-friendly.’

That was President Obama a week after winning re-election, as he answered a reporter’s question about a promise he made to meet with his Republican rival after the election. Well sources are quoting Romney aides, stating that a lunch between the two is set for Thursday.
Obama aides reached out to Romney shortly before Thanksgiving to start working on a date for the meeting.

‘It was a gracious invitation from the president, which Mitt Romney was glad to accept,’ a top Romney aide said.

Bobby Jindal – “I Think [Mitt Romney] Is Absolutely Wrong” On That Gift Statement

I think it’s pure political ambition. I think Bobby Jindal saw an opportunity to be against the looser Romney and he jumped on it. It was just a week ago before the election when everything Mitt Romney said was automatically endorsed by Jindal, but now, Jindal is leading the opposition against  the former Republican presidential candidate.

Asked about Romney’s latest statement that he lost the election because of Obama’s “gifts” to different ethnic groups and women, the Republican governor of Louisiana couldn’t disagree more.

“No, I think that’s absolutely wrong,” he said at a press conference that opened the RGA’s post-election meeting here. “Two points on that: One, we have got to stop dividing the American voters. We need to go after 100 percent of the votes, not 53 percent. We need to go after every single vote.

“And, secondly, we need to continue to show how our policies help every voter out there achieve the American Dream, which is to be in the middle class, which is to be able to give their children an opportunity to be able to get a great education. … So, I absolutely reject that notion, that description. I think that’s absolutely wrong.”

I think Bobby Jindal is trying to get some recognition for 2016. Move over Chris Christie!

Romney Supporter Claims That God Will Punish America For Re-Electing President Obama

Remember when Mitt Romney appeared to be leading in all the polls and Republicans began celebrating their imminent victory? Then  hurricane Sandy happened across the east coast and Americans gravitated back to the president after seeing the way he handled the aftermath of the storm. Republicans immediately began blaming the hurricane for Obama’s new-found popularity, some even saying that Sandy as an act of God, stopped Romney’s rise in the polls.

Well it seems that Republicans cannot make up their mind which way they want to go. Before the election, they blamed God and the hurricane for slowing Romney’s rise to the presidency and now, they’re claiming that God will punish America for re-electing President Obama.

Yesterday, John Hagee opened up the “Hagee Hotline” to answer questions from parishioners about the election; questions like “do you believe [President Obama] is the precursor to the Anti-Christ?”  Hagee never really answered the question, simply predicting that an economic crash is coming that will result in the rise of a global economic czar who will, in fact, be the Anti-Christ.

But as for the election, Hagee warned that “America chose a leader who is for men marrying men” and who is “pro-abortion” and who has “attacked freedom of religion” and so this nation is “about to face the consequences of our choices” because “God will hold America responsible for that choice”:

Mitt Romney’s “Gift” Statement Shows That Republicans Still Don’t Get It

On Wednesday, both the President and Mr. Romney spoke in length about the presidential election that took place a week before. But the style of the two men and the things they had to say showed the vast contrast between them, as one extended an invitation to the other to move the country forward, while the other man continued in divisive politics guaranteed to divide this country along racial and social lines.

Can you guess who would like that division? If you said Mitt Romney, you’d be correct.

In his first press conference since winning reelection, President Obama was asked whether he had followed up on a statement he made in his victory speech about inviting Mitt Romney and finding a way to work together. The President replied that he was giving Romney some time to come to terms with the outcome of the election, but would make that invitation in the future.

The President;

“I do think he did a terrific job running the Olympics, and that skill set of trying to figure out how do we make something work better applies to the federal government.

There are a lot of ideas that I don’t think are partisan ideas but are just smart ideas about how can we make the federal government more customer friendly. How can we make sure that we’re consolidating programs that are duplicative; how can we eliminate additional waste. He presented some ideas during the course of the campaign that I actually agree with. So it would be interesting to talk to him about something like that. There may be ideas that he has with respect to jobs and growth that can help middle-class families that I want to hear. So I’m not either prejudging what he’s interested in doing, nor am I suggesting I’ve got some specific assignment. But what I want to do is to get ideas from him and see if there are some ways that we can potentially work together.”

But around the same time that Mr. Obama was promising to work with the Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney was busy with a conference call of his own. Speaking to his donors, Romney continued the same politics of division his campaign embraced in the final weeks of his run for president. Explaining why he lost the election, Romney attempted to remove himself and his failed ideas from the equation and credited “gifts” from the Obama administration to certain ethnic and socioeconomic groups as the reason for his loss.

Mr. Romney:

“With regards to the young people, for instance, a forgiveness of college loan interest was a big gift. Free contraceptives were very big with young, college-aged women. And then, finally, Obamacare also made a difference for them, because as you know, anybody now 26 years of age and younger was now going to be part of their parents’ plan, and that was a big gift to young people. They turned out in large numbers, a larger share in this election even than in 2008.

You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 or $35,000 a year, being told you’re now going to get free health care, particularly if you don’t have it, getting free health care worth, what, $10,000 per family, in perpetuity — I mean, this is huge. Likewise with Hispanic voters, free health care was a big plus. But in addition with regards to Hispanic voters, the amnesty for children of illegals, the so-called Dream Act kids, was a huge plus for that voting group.”

Of course, if Mitt Romney had won the election, getting rid of healthcare would have been his number one priority – he said it numerous times in his campaign. And when it came to women and their healthcare decisions, Romney was/is in favor of inserting the Government in the middle of those private decisions a women make about her own life. It was also no secret that he was against the Dream Act and favored the ludicrous idea that anyone found illegally in the country must “self deport” back to the country of their birth.

Yes, those were all policy ideas of the Romney/Ryan Republican ticket, and all those ideas sucked.

In a nation that considers itself the greatest nation on earth, what’s wrong with making sure that the citizens have affordable healthcare instead of going to the emergency room when it’s too late? What’s wrong with allowing women their right to make their own healthcare decisions? And what’s wrong with implementing smart and necessary immigration policies to ensure that children brought to this country at a very young age be allowed to stay in the only country they know.

Those are some of the policies President Obama implemented in his first term – affordable healthcare, allowing women to make their own decisions and The Dream Act that provided a legal status to children brought to this country through no fault of their own. People voted based on what helped their situations, and calling those policies “gifts” exemplifies the problem with Mitt Romney and the Republicans in general – they just don’t get it!

Two different men, two different governing styles, two different sets of policies. And if what these two men said on Wednesday was any indication, Americans chose the right man for the job of President.

Romney Losing Facebook Friends Faster Than You Can Say “Unlike”

Often the people who friend or like others on Facebook aren’t friends at all. Perhaps there’s a common interest, and with the click of a mouse, a Facebook friendship is born.

According to the Washington Post, Mitt Romney lost nearly 593 Facebook friends between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning. The losses are happening so quickly, the drop in numbers can actually be watched. A click can launch a friendship as well as end one.

A two-minute study was conducted on Romney’s Facebook page at 4:42 a.m., CT, on Sun., Nov. 11, 2012, and he had 12,053,104 likes.

The page was refreshed at 4:44 a.m., CT, and he had 12,053,097, totaling seven unlikes within a two-minute time span. If the “unlikes” continue at the above rate, within 60 minutes, Romney would lose 210 “friends.”

If you want to join in the fun and watch the mass exodus from Romney’s page, disappearing Romney is a site set up just for that purpose. The site gives a live feed to Romney’s Facebook statistics, as Americans abandons the failed Republican presidential candidate.

Republicans Line Up For Their Chance To Throw Romney Under The Bus

We knew this was going to happen, we just didn’t expect it this soon. Usually, the party would wait until the humiliation of a defeat subsides before discussing the reason for their loss, but not now.

Just hours after President Obama hammered Mitt Romney in both the Electoral and popular vote, Republicans have lined up to throw Romney and his campaign from the train… ah, under the bus.

“They ran a 20th century campaign in the 21st century,” said one Romney bundler, frustrated that the campaign made assumptions about the youth vote and voter intensity that didn’t pan out. “The anger is that they were entrusted to do certain things. It’s not like they were paid a $5,000 retainer to get a few dozen articles in an inside-the-Beltway paper. This is the major leagues.”

Another Republican outside the Romney campaign but privy to its thinking described the defeat as a complete pummeling, with Senate losses adding salt to the wound.

Romney supporters point to a series of brash statements made by advisers that seem out of touch with reality in retrospect. Inside the Beltway, Republicans trained their fire on senior Romney advisers like Ed Gillespie and political director Rich Beeson for appearances on last weekend’s Sunday shows. Gillespie said the electoral map was expanding, and Beeson predicted a 300 electoral vote win for Romney.

“There were a lot of Republicans who were on calls that the campaign was having led to believe we had shots in Pennsylvania and Minnesota,” one Republican operative supporting Romney said. “I think Republicans are split right now between confused and shocked, and also I think they are wondering did the Romney campaign have numbers we didn’t have.”

In starker terms, the source questioned: “Was last week a head fake, or were they just not that smart?”

And according to the Teaparty;

“For those of us who believe that America, as founded, is the greatest country in the history of the world – a ‘Shining city upon a hill’ – we wanted someone who would fight for us,” Tea Party Patriots co-founder Jenny Beth Martin wrote in an e-mail, quoting 40th president and conservative hero Ronald Reagan. “We wanted a fighter like Ronald Reagan who boldly championed America’s founding principles… What we got was a weak moderate candidate, hand-picked by the Beltway elites and country-club establishment.”

Is The Lesson Of Hurricane Sandy That God Wants President Obama To Win?

What we’ve all learned from the Republican primaries was that God told each and every Republican contender to run for President. They’ve all said it. From Herman Pizzaman Cain to Michelle investigate congress to see who is un american Bachmann, to Rick “Santorum” Santorum. They’ve all said that God told them to run for President.

They’re all home now watching Mitt Romney.

For the most part, Mitt Romney has trailed in the polls against President Obama. But after the first debate where the president appeared to be in dreamland, Romney saw the surge in the polls he expected from his RNC Convention. And up to a few weeks ago, many Republicans predicted a win for Romney on Tuesday. They were all calling the moving trucks, preparing to move Romney and his peeps into the White House.

But then, Hurricane Sandy [an act of God] made her presence known along the east coast and a newfound coöperation between the President and Republican Governor Chris Christie dominated the airwaves, pushing Romney and his false message off to the side. For almost a week, news stations focused on the storm and the aftermath and Americans are, once again, seeing the caliber of a true leader from the president.

Republicans are taking note. They are calling hurricane Sandy the “October Surprise.”

In the pages of The Washington Post, a chief Republican Strategist Karl Rove, began setting up the talking-point in the likely event that Romney lose the election on Tuesday, and according to Rove, Sandy will be blamed;

“If you hadn’t had the storm, there would have been more of a chance for the [Mitt] Romney campaign to talk about the deficit, the debt, the economy. There was a stutter in the campaign. When you have attention drawn away to somewhere else, to something else, it is not to his [Romney’s] advantage.”

“It’s the October surprise. For once, the October surprise was a real surprise.”

And with that talking-point in motion, the rest of the Republican party used Sunday’s talk show circuit to hammer home Roves point. Appearing on CNN‘s Candy Crowley’s State of the Union, Republican Haley Barbour said;

“The hurricane is what broke Romney’s momentum. I don’t think there’s any question about it.”

“Any day that the news media is not talking about jobs and the economy, taxes and spending, deficits and debt, Obamacare and energy is a good day for Barack Obama. You had a blackout — you had a blackout on all of those issues that started about last Saturday and lasted until about yesterday. That was what was really good for Barack Obama.”

Now if you take the Republican’s attempt to affiliate God with a political candidate, and if Sandy was an “act of God,” it would make perfect sense to conclude that God saw the way Romney was gaining in the polls and allowed Sandy to Bring Barack Back into the public’s focus. It would make sense to conclude that President Obama – if the Republicans thinking is correct – is the candidate God prefers. And it would make sense to conclude that if God prefers Barack Obama, then conservative Christians determined to put Romney and his peeps in the White House would be going against God’s will if the vote for Romney…!

And if Romney is a leader in the Mormon Church, shouldn’t he see this sign and drop out? I would.

Only time will tell, and that time runs out on Tuesday!

Mitt Romney Vs. Hurricane Sandy – Video

Mitt Romney was once a believer that the human race may be contributing to climate change. He quickly changed his position when it was politically beneficial to him and he became an opponent of his previous position. Now, he’s even questioning the Federal Government’s role in providing help to victims of natural disasters.

President Obama on the other hand has made his position known about climate change, and much of his policies including his push for clean energy reflects that belief. During his acceptance speech at the Republican National Conference, Mitt Romney chose his time in the spotlight to joke about Mr. Obama’s climate change belief. Stepping to the podium to deliver his speech, Romney claimed that “president Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans, and to heal the planet.” Romney then said, “my promise is to help you and your family.”

Maybe Romney should stop lying to the American people about helping our families, and realize that the planet demands our immediate attention. President Obama is paying attention and his policies reflect the need to invest more in clean energy. And after the recent hurricane Sandy that hit the east coast, we can see once again, that President Obama’s approach is right.

This video should help.

Lying Joe Isuzu Merges Into Lying Mitt Romney, Or Is Lying Mitt Romney Merging Into Lying Joe Isuzu?

Joe Isuzu. Remember him? He was the “car salesman” for Isuzu cars in the 1980’s. Joe was known for making promises about Isuzu cars that were… for lack of a better word… lies. In one of his commercials he promised viewers that if they bought one Isuzu, they would get another car for free. He also said things like, “this car is so cheap, you can buy one with pocket change.” He said that while holding up a quarter he pulled from his pocket.

Well birds of a feather flock together, and Joe has seen something in Mitt Romney that made him revert to his old lying ways. Joe has substituted the Isuzu car with Mitt Romney, and he is saying some things that he know are lies.

In the ad below, lying Joe Isuzu merges into lying Mitt Romney… or is it lying Mitt Romney merging into lying Joe Isuzu?

You decide.

Even The CEO of Chrysler Calls Romney A Liar – “Jeep Assembly Will Remain In The U.S”

Romney first said it in one of his stump speeches, that because of President Obama jeep manufacturing was leaving Ohio, destroying jobs in the process, and relocating to China. He then doubled down on that message with an ad geared to the people of Ohio. Then, to cover all his basis, Mitt Romney is presently playing a radio ad in the state explaining that Jeep manufacturing is on its way to China.

The problem is Mitt Romney is lying, and it was pointed out to him after he said it in his original stump speech. Chrysler, the parent company of Jeep, told Romney that what he was saying was incorrect. Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne responded in a statement;

“I feel obliged to unambiguously restate our position: Jeep production will not be moved from the United States to China. Jeep assembly lines will remain in operation in the United States and will constitute the backbone of the brand. … It is inaccurate to suggest anything different.”

But of course, hearing the CEO of the company say you’re wrong means absolutely nothing to the Romney campaign  and the lie that Jeep is moving to China is still featured in his campaign speeches, on television and now on radio.

The Obama campaign is also pointing to this latest Romney lie by putting out an ad of their own. In the ad, Romney is referred to as “dishonest.” I’ll be a little more blunt and call it the way I see it. Romney is a liar!
