Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton – Most Admired People in The World

I think it’s fair to say that no one polled Republicans on this. I think it’s fair to say that in the Republican circle, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the worst people in the world, not necessarily because of who they are or what they’ve done, but because of what party they belong to.

Republicans view everything through a political lens. But I digress.

The Gallup polls, which have been taken for both genders every year since 1948, asks respondents, “What woman or man that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most?”

The multi-billionaire hotelier and the leader of the Catholic Church earned 5 percent of the vote each; President Barack Obama won more than three times their respective shares, with 17 percent. Bernie Sanders ranked third in the poll, pulling 3 percent of the vote.

Bill Gates, Ben Carson, the Dalai Lama, George W. Bush and the Reverend Billy Graham earned 1 percent each.

For the 14th year in a row, Hillary Clinton won the distinction of most admired woman in the world in the survey. This was the 20th time the former first lady, senator and secretary of state has won the honor — a record for the poll.

Over 229,000 Sign Petition Demanding DNC Give Bernie His Database Back

The story just broke like hours ago, but already, there are well over 229,000 signatures on a petition demanding DNC Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz take her finger off the scale for Hillary Clinton and give Bernie Sanders access to his database.

According to the petition;

We demand that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz immediately reinstate the Bernie Sanders campaign’s access to the DNC’s 50-state voter file, which is crucial for voter outreach in the last weeks before the first Democratic caucuses. Shutting down Sanders’ tools to reach voters is an infringement on democracy.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who heads the Democratic National Committee, undoubtedly made the call to suspend Bernie Sanders’ access to the DNC’s 50-state voter file in the wake of a software glitch that a Sanders staffer had previously reported on multiple occasions. With just 6 weeks to go before the Iowa caucuses and less than 2 months before the New Hampshire primary, the Sanders campaign needs this voter file more than ever to reach a maximum number of voters. Withholding access to this critical information at such a critical time for the campaign is equivalent to sabotage.

See the petition here.

Jeb Bush – “Hillary Clinton would Clean” Donald Trump – Really Jeb? “Clean?”

Jeb Bush opened his mouth again and again, another awkward statement jumped out!

In another recent interview, Jeb talked about why he should win the nomination and not Donald Trump. And according to the JebCanFixIt man, a Hillary Clinton / Donald Trump match-up would result in Hillary cleaning Donald.

“I cannot imagine Donald Trump becoming president because he would never win. He would never win, Hillary Clinton would clean him.”

Now, maybe I’m reading too much into this statement. Maybe this is just an innocent proclamation by the Republican presidential wannabe, or maybe like his brother George, Jeb just cannot control the things that come out of his mouth. But whatever the reason, the last think I need in my brain is a visual of Hillary cleaning Donald.

I’m having lunch for crying out loud!

Major News Outlets Apparently Boycotting Bernie Sanders’ Campaign

Bernie Sanders is one of the Democratic Presidential candidate running alongside Hillary Clinton. He gets the bigger crowd at campaign events and the Democratic base is energized about his campaign. But you will never know that if you watch the major news where Sanders’ name is not even mention. It’s as if he’s not even running.

MediaMatters looked into this and confirmed that a Bernie Blockout is in effect.

Does that ratio seem out of whack? That’s the ratio of TV airtime that ABC World News Tonight has devoted to Donald Trump’s campaign (81 minutes) versus the amount of TV time World News Tonight has devoted to Bernie Sanders’ campaign this year. And even that one minute for Sanders is misleading because the actual number is closer to 20 seconds.

For the entire year.

That’s the rather stunning revelation from the Tyndall Report, which tracks the various flagship nightly news programs on NBC, CBS and ABC. The Report’s campaign findings cover the network evening newscasts from January 1 through the end of November.

The results confirm two media extremes in play this year, and not just at ABC News. The network newscasts are wildly overplaying Trump, who regularly attracts between 20-30 percent of primary voter support, while at the same time wildly underplaying Sanders, who regularly attracts between 20-30 percent of primary voter support. (Sanders’ supporters have longcomplained about the candidate’s lack of coverage.)

Obviously, Trump is the GOP frontrunner and its reasonable that he would get more attention than Sanders, who’s running second for the Democrats. But 234 total network minutes for Trump compared to just 10 network minutes for Sanders, as the Tyndall Report found?

Andrew Tyndall provided the breakdown by network of Sanders’ 10 minutes of coverage, via email [emphasis added]:

CBS Evening News: 6.4 minutes

NBC Nightly News: 2.9 minutes

ABC World News: 0.3

But how can they be? ABC News, for instance, clearly devoted more than 20 seconds to covering the Democratic debates, which featured news of Sanders, right?

As Tyndall explained to me, the number “counts stories filed about the Sanders campaign or from the Sanders campaign. Obviously he is mentioned in passing in other coverage of the Democratic field overall, specifically his performance in the debates.”

So in terms of stand-alone campaign stories this year, it’s been 234 minutes for Trump, compared to 10 minutes for Sanders. And at ABC World News Tonight, it’s been 81 minutes for Trump and less than one minute for Sanders.

Jeb Promises to “Whoop” Hillary Clinton in 2016

Seems to me Jeb is counting his chickens before the eggs hatch. Seems to me that Jeb’s main focus these days should be to “whoop” the other people running ahead of him in the Republican field. Seems to me his concentration should be to avoiding the 3 or maybe 5 percent poll ratings.

“Should I win this nomination,” Jeb was heard saying at the Republican Jewish Coalition on Thursday, “I will take it to Hillary Clinton and I will whoop her.”

And along with the whopping of Hillary Clinton, Jeb promised the Jewish Coalition that as soon as he becomes president, he would whoop Israel’s enemies too.

He told the audience that”Day one” he will move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, ensure Israel’s Qualitative Military Edge is maintained for the long run, and work with the U.S. attorney general to stop the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement in the United States.

He said he would use aggressive U.S. military leadership in the region, marshaling Sunni Arab armies, and building safe zones inside Syria.

There will be a lot of whoopings going on in a Bush administration… apparently!

Glenn Beck Figures it out – Donald Trump is Secretly Working for Hillary Clinton – Video

And you thought Glenn Beck wasn’t a smart man. Well, I don’t blame you. I thought he was a fool too! But apparently there is a little nugget between the man’s ears and it’s working overtime these days!

Like in this recent episode of his show, where Glenn Beck finally figured out the liberal plot to get Hillary Clinton elected president in 2016. According to Beck’s nugget, Hillary’s secret weapon for 2016 is Donald Trump!

“What are the odds that he is a spoiler?” Beck asked. “What are the odds that he got into this because he’s friend with the Clintons and he’ll get massive payback? If Hillary Clinton gets in because he ran third party, do you know the favor they’re going to owe him?”

“It makes no sense otherwise,” Beck insisted, asserting that “it’s more logical to believe that” scenario than the idea that Trump is actually a Republican or even someone who cares about the issues.

Poll – Bernie Sanders Gains Ground on Hillary Clinton

Although the new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows Hillary Clinton gaining 3 percentage points, the same poll shows Bernie Sanders increasing his support by 10 points.

According to the ABC News/Washington Post poll, Hillary Clinton has gone from leading Bernie Sanders 56%-22% in October to 59%-35% in November. Support for Sen. Sanders is up thirteen percent, and support for former Sec. of State Clinton has gone up by three percent in the past month. Voters said that the three most important issues in the election are the economy (33%), healthcare (13%), and immigration (10%).

The poll reveals that Sanders had made gains with Democrats and Democratic leaners under age 50. Sen. Sanders has also made limited gains among non-whites and women.

Nina Turner Changes Her Mind – Endorses Bernie Sanders Instead

The great progressive voice of Ohio and former state Senator, Nina Turner, dropped her support for Hillary Clinton on Thursday and wholeheartedly endorsed Bernie Sanders for president.

Turner and Sanders’ presidential campaign confirmed the endorsement Thursday.

“I’m very attracted by his message and his style — and that he has held pretty much strong on his beliefs and the world is catching up with him,” Turner said.

Turner added that Sanders’ positions on voting rightsand wage issues have stood out to her. While she is expected to be active in his campaign, a Sanders spokeswoman said whatever role Turner has will not be paid.

Turner spoke to cleveland.com by telephone before flying to Iowa, where she will attend Saturday’s Democratic debate featuring Clinton, Sanders and Martin O’Malley.

She also will introduce Sanders at his Monday rally at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center. The Vermont senator, who describes himself as a democratic socialist, has emerged as Clinton’s strongest Democratic primary rival.

“We are extremely, extremely humbled by the support of Sen. Nina Turner,” Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said. “She is nationally known as a voice for voting rights, for workers’ rights and for marginalized people. The support of someone with that record of standing up for middle-income and working people is tremendously important.”

Hillary Clinton Laughs When Supporter Said He Wanted to “Strangle” Carly Fiorina – Video

When someone stood up and said Obama is “an Arab,” I expected then presidential candidate John McCain to take the mic away from that woman and correct her. McCain did, as he should, and received well deserved praise for his efforts. When a man stood up in Donald Trump rally and described Muslims as “a problem in this country” and then said, “you know the president is one,” I expected Donald Trump to correct the man. He didn’t, and got some well deserved criticisms for it.

Even Hillary Clinton slammed Donald Trump in a tweet, letting him know he should have corrected the man. “Donald Trump not denouncing false statements about POTUS & hateful rhetoric about Muslims is disturbing,” Hillary tweeted, “& just plain wrong. Cut it out. -H”

But when a military veteran at an event in New Hampshire told Hillary Clinton that he wanted to “strangle” another presidential candidate, Republican Carly Fiorina, I expected Hillary Clinton to denounce the man and his statement. She didn’t. Instead, she laughed, telling the man, “I wouldn’t mess with you!”

Pure Insanity – Hillary Clinton and Ben Carson Tied in Nationwide Poll

It is times like this when I know my theory is correct, that Americans love punishment. How the hell is Ben Carson – a man who gives me the urge to flush the toilet everytime he opens his mouth, how can this man be tied with Hillary Clinton – the former Secretary of State – for president?

Pure insanity!

Clinton is ahead of Republican Donald Trump by eight points among registered voters, 50 percent to 42 percent.

She leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush by four points, 47 percent to 43 percent.

And Clinton holds a three-point advantage over Sen. Marco Rubio, 47 percent to 44 percent, though that’s well within the poll’s margin of error of plus-minus 3.4 percentage points.

But against Ben Carson, who is now leading the GOP horse race in the NBC/WSJ poll, Clinton finds herself in a tied contest, 47 percent to 47 percent.

The reason why Carson performs better versus Clinton than the rest of the GOP field is due to Carson’s standing among independent voters.

Bernie Sanders on Clinton’s Surge – “We are still the underdog”

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has reestablished herself as the inevitable Democratic presidential candidate, and according to her opponent Senator Bernie Sanders, that’s to be expected at this stage in the race. Sanders however, is convinced that when it’s all said and done, he will be the eventual Democratic nominee.

“We are taking on the political establishment, we’re taking on the economic establishment,” Sanders told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Tuesday when asked about his lagging poll numbers in a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll out Tuesday. “We started as the underdog we are still the underdog. But the kind of enthusiasm that we are generating tells me that at the end of the day we are gonna win this election.”

Clinton has double Sanders’ numbers, 62 percent to his 31 percent in the poll released Tuesday. Her lead has gone up slightly from October when the former secretary of state had 58 percent and Sanders had 33 percent. Overall, Clinton’s Real Clear Politics polling average lead over Sanders has jumped from 15 points on Oct. 3 to 24 points on Nov. 3. Clinton has also taken back the lead in some New Hampshire polls.

Mitchell asked Sanders what had gone wrong.

“I don’t think it’s a question of things going wrong, you know when we started this campaign we were at 3 or 4 percent in the polls. Since that point we have done extremely well in many states around this country,” Sanders replied.

Fox News Contributor Calls Hillary Clinton “a professional at lying” – Audio

Conservatives are falling over themselves trying to deflate the fact that Hillary Clinton wiped the floor with Republicans over the last week. And in her feeble attempt to do just that, American Family Association and Fox News contributor Sandy Rios, went out of her way to call Hillary Clinton “a consummate professional at lying and covering up,” when she discussed Clinton’s recent appearance at the Benghazi hearing.

I thought it was interesting how they conducted the hearing, that they had – what I would describe it as unending answers – for Hillary Clinton. They just let her go on and on and on, and she is wonderful at this. Hillary Clinton is the consummate apologist, and she has had probably more experience than any living woman in our country right now at defending herself against scandals under oath, of parsing her words. She is aconsummate professional at lying and covering up. And so by even having her there and letting her go on in unending fashion is a disaster just waiting to happen.
