New Poll – Hillary Clinton Overtakes Bernie Sanders in Iowa

What a difference a Republican whipping party makes. Well, the so-called Benghazi hearing contributed to this new love for Hillary, but she has been on this wave of growing support since the last Democratic debate a little over a week ago.

And now this – Hillary Clinton has reclaimed the lead in Iowa from Bernie Sanders and it is a commanding lead. According to Quinnipiac University poll, Hillary Clinton now hold an 11 point lead over Bernie.

The poll of likely Democratic Caucus participants showed Clinton with 51 percent support to Sanders’ 40 percent. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley received 4 percent support. Quinnipiac’s Sept. 10 poll had Sanders leading Clinton 41-40 percent.

“A strong debate performance doesn’t always translate into better poll numbers, but it sure did for Hillary Clinton,” Quinnipiac assistant director Peter A. Brown said in a statement. “Clinton had been losing momentum among the key Iowa Caucus participants and last month was tied with Sen. Bernie Sanders, who seemed to have the momentum in Iowa and nationally. But the debate seemed to reverse that trend and once again she is the leader of the pack in Iowa,” he said.

Indeed, the poll found that a majority of those who watched the debate said she had won it.

Former Australian Prime Minister Endorses Hillary Clinton for President – Video

Gillard made the endorsement in a star filled video supporting the former Secretary of State.

She continued;

“She was determined to see that women take their places as economic partners in the community and take their places as political leaders in their community.”

Rudy Giuliani – “Hillary Clinton Got Away with Murder” – Audio

Former NYC Mayor and staunch Republican Rudy Giuliani, attacked Hillary Clinton in a radio interview with John Catsimatidis (AM 970) today, saying that the former Secretary of State “got away with murder” in the Democratic Debate and further saying that the debate “was like a love-fest.”

Giuliani claimed that “Bernie Sanders virtually applauded Hillary for destroying her emails,” and stated that he has “a list of 13 criminal statutes that Hillary allegedly violated with her conduct,” referencing Hillary’s decision to use a personal server for her emails when she was Secretary of State. Maybe he couldn’t get that list to Anderson Cooper in time for the debate.

Did you know that Republicans are fixated Hillary’s emails… and Benghazi!?!

Must use taxpayer’s dollars to conduct phony investigations into Clinton. Must.Pull.Her.Poll.Numbers.Down!

Another Republican Confess – Benghazi Committee Created to Attack Clinton

For those of you who think Kevin McCarthy misspoke when he admitted that the Benghazi Committee’s only goal was to bring down Hillary Clinton’s approval numbers, what will you think if I told you that another Republican congressman is backing up McCarthy’s statement?

Well, another Republican congressman is backing up McCarthy’s statement.

In an interview with WIBX 950 in New York on Wednesday, moderate Republican Rep. Richard Hanna said House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy was speaking the truth when he said this month that the committee had successfully injured Clinton.

“Sometimes the biggest sin you can commit in D.C. is to tell the truth,” Hanna told the upstate New York radio station. “This may not be politically correct, but I think that there was a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people and an individual, Hillary Clinton.”

I know,  I know. It’s hard to find one Republican in Congress capable of telling the truth, but finding two? This is totally unheard of and I understand your skepticism. But it’s true. The rest of America knew that this committee was nothing more than a very expensive political sham and now, one by one, Republicans are finally admitting it too, that the Benghazi Committee was just dirty politics.

Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear before this fake committee next week. There will be fireworks. Consider yourselves warned.

Hillary Clinton Goes After Bernie Sanders in Democratic Debate

Tuesday night was the first time the candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination met face to face in a debate, and Hillary Clinton did not waste any time attacking her Democratic opponent, Bernie Sanders. Her weapon of choice, his not-so-stella record on guns.

“We have to look at the fact that we lose 90 people a day from gun violence,” Clinton said. “It’s time the entire country stood up to the [National Rifle Association].”

Sanders repeatedly pointed out that he holds a D-minus rating from the National Rifle Association, and argued that it was necessary to bridge the cultural divide between urban and rural America when it comes to common-sense gun reform.

But the self-described Democratic socialist could not escape heated criticism for voting against the Brady Act, which mandated federal background checks on firearm purchases, and supporting a federal bill that would have shielded gun shops from crushing lawsuits. Sanders said that it was “a large and complicated bill,” with some provisions that he liked, and some he didn’t.

“It was pretty straightforward to me,” Clinton countered. She voted against it.

Tuesday’s debate comes less than two weeks after a lone gunman opened fire on a community college campus in Roseburg, Oregon, killing nine people before taking his own life. Shortly after the shooting, President Obama delivered an emotional address that spotlighted the nation’s shortcomings in keeping guns out of dangerous hands.

Obama on Clinton’s Email Scandal – She Could Have Have Handled it Better

In an interview with CBS, President Obama concluded that his former Secretary of State and current leader in the Democratic run for president, Hillary Clinton, made a mistake when she decided to host her own private server for her private and government emails.

“I think she’d be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled the original decision better and the disclosures more quickly,” Obama said.Republicans have used Hillary’s email decision as a political weapon to attack her.

Obama downplayed the threat to national security, and when it was pointed out that his administration has prosecuted people for having classified material on their private computers, the president said he didn’t get the impression there was an intent to “hide something or to squirrel away information.” He also said he was not initially aware of her use of the private email server.

There are still questions being raised about the security of that system. Former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden told Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan recently that Clinton’s use of a private server was a “problem.”

Senate investigators recently discovered that Clinton’s private server was subjected to unspecified hacking attempts in 2013 from China, South Korea and Germany. The FBI is still examining her system, and that review could reveal evidence, if any, of unauthorized intrusions into her server or any attempts to siphon off her data.

Donald Trump on Hillary Clinton – “She Shouldn’t Be Allowed to Run”

In his statements at a rally in Georgia on Saturday, the Republican leader, Donald Trump, implied that if Hillary Clinton was a Republican, she would be in jail.

“I mean, honestly, she shouldn’t be allowed to run. No, she shouldn’t be.”

Clinton is currently being investigated by the FBI for using a private email server during her tenure as secretary of State, and questions surrounding it continue to dog her on the campaign trail.
Trump said if Clinton were a Republican, she would have already been in jail for the offense.

“I can tell you this, if that were a Republican that did what she did with the emails, they would have been in jail 12 months ago,” the businessman said. “They would have been in jail. It’s a very unfair system. It is a very, very unfair system. But I’m telling you, if that were a Republican, it’s called jail time.”

Clinton maintains that she never knowingly sent classified information over the server and has not broken the law.

Republican Kevin McCarthy Stars in Hillary Clinton’s New Ad – Video

When the Republican House Majority Leader opened his mouth last week and admitted the only reason for the Benghazi Committee was to bring down Hillary Clinton’s approval numbers, he had no idea he was staring in an ad in support of Hillary Clinton.

In an interview on Fox News, Kevin McCarthy proclaimed, “Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her [poll] numbers today?”

And today, Clinton thanked the Republican, Kevin McCarthy, with this brand spanking new ad. I’m wondering how much Kevin got paid for this.

Bernie Sanders Capitalizing on Small Donor Support – Hillary Needs Big Donors

(AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin)

This is definitely good news for the Bernie camp. They must be happy with this news.

According to a new report, Bernie Sanders has raised just about the same amount of money mostly from small donors, as Hillary Clinton has, and the bulk of her donor-base is coming from a few large donors and Superpacs.

The Vermont senator’s campaign says he has raised about $26 million for his presidential campaign in the past three months. Coming mostly from small donations given online, the sum underscores the draw of his insurgent campaign among the grassroots of the Democratic Party.

Clinton’s campaign, in its own announcement Wednesday, said she had taken in $28 million. Most of it came from fundraisers hosted by big donors across the country. Many took place in the traditionally Democratic treasure chests of Manhattan and Hollywood. She raised at least $19 million from about 60 events where admission typically cost $2,700, the biggest donation allowed by law.

The Sanders campaign has held just seven traditional fundraisers since launching at the end of April, said Sanders campaign spokesman Michael Briggs, compared to a total of more than 110 for Clinton over the same period.
