FBI Obtains a Warrant to Search Weiner’s Computer for Hillary’s Emails

While the rest of the world assumes the FBI has already found incriminating emails from Hillary Clinton on Weiner’s computer, MSN News is reporting that the FBI just obtained a warrant to search Anthony Weiner’s computer for emails related to the Hillary Clinton private server probe.

The warrant came two days after FBI director James Comey revealed that the emails were linked to Weiner’s estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The FBI already had a warrant to search Weiner’s laptop, but that only applied to evidence of his allegedly illicit communications with an underage girl.

Comey’s disclosure of the emails ignited fierce criticism, particularly from Clinton, who called the move an “unprecedented” departure from FBI policy.

On Sunday, Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid scolded Comey as well, saying in a letter that he “demonstrated a disturbing double standard for the treatment of sensitive information, with what appears to be clear intent to aid one political party over another.”

Just Like That Trump Changes His Mind on “Rigged” System Talking Point

Can you imagine this guy in the White House with all the power of the world at his disposal? A guy who can change his mind at the drop of a dime should not and cannot lead the free world or have his finger on the nuclear code.

Trump has shown time and time again that he is incapable of maintaining a steady position on any political issue. We’ve seen and heard situations where Trump says something one day and totally change position days, even hours later. So it comes as no surprise that Trump’s “rigged system” talking-point has come to an end now that the FBI announced a review of Hillary’s emails.

“It might not be as rigged as I thought,” Trump said at a campaign rally in New Hampshire after FBI director James Comey advised Congressional leaders of newfound Clinton emails. “The FBI, I think they are going to right the ship, folks. I think they are going to right the ship, and they are going to save their reputation by doing so.”

Just hours before the FBI’s announcement, Trump was interviewed on Fox News where he condemned the FBI, saying the agency “rolled over” by not throwing Hillary Clinton in jail.

“The system is rigged when Hillary Clinton is allowed to run for president, because what she did is criminal,” Trump told Baier Friday morning. “The FBI rolled over and the Department of Justice rolled over.” For extra emphasis, he added moments later, “When she’s allowed to run for office, the FBI rolled over.”

“Rolled over” no more. Trump has now changed his position on the very same FBI.

“I have great respect for the fact that the FBI and the Department of Justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they made. This was a grave miscarriage of justice that the American people fully understood. And it is everybody’s hope that it is about to be corrected.”

I can see Trump in the Oval office snuggling with Russia’s Vladimir Putin on the phone, then bombing Moscow minutes later because Putin hung up without saying good night. Instability is not a trait we want in the next Commander-in-Chief and it is unbelievable that Republicans allowed Trump to get this close to the White House.

Donald Trump on Hillary Clinton – “She Shouldn’t Be Allowed to Run”

In his statements at a rally in Georgia on Saturday, the Republican leader, Donald Trump, implied that if Hillary Clinton was a Republican, she would be in jail.

“I mean, honestly, she shouldn’t be allowed to run. No, she shouldn’t be.”

Clinton is currently being investigated by the FBI for using a private email server during her tenure as secretary of State, and questions surrounding it continue to dog her on the campaign trail.
Trump said if Clinton were a Republican, she would have already been in jail for the offense.

“I can tell you this, if that were a Republican that did what she did with the emails, they would have been in jail 12 months ago,” the businessman said. “They would have been in jail. It’s a very unfair system. It is a very, very unfair system. But I’m telling you, if that were a Republican, it’s called jail time.”

Clinton maintains that she never knowingly sent classified information over the server and has not broken the law.

Bridge to Christ Christie’s 2016 Bid Now Closed

Ah Chris Christie. Allow me to refer to you as piblic bully number one.

By now everyone’s heard of Bridge-Gate, where the busiest bridge in the nation – the George Washington – was mysteriously closed back in September on the first day of school, right before the election in 2013.

No one seemed to know the reason for the bridge closing and although questions were asked, answers were few. The answer that initially came forth – the closure was a traffic study – made no sense.

Then it was revealed that the closure to the bridge happened in the town of a Democratic mayor who endorsed Chris Christie’s opponent in the gubernatorial election. Then more questions were asked. Did Chris Christie ordered the bridge closing to cause havoc in this town of Fort Lee, thus, causing unnecessary problems for Mayor Mark Sokolich – the man who refused to endorse him?

Christie denied it of course, then today, the emails were made public.

“It will be a tough November for this little Serbian,” wrote David Wildstein, one of Christie’s appointees to the agency responsible for maintaining the bridge. His comment, apparently referring to Mayor Mark Sokolich.

The emails show that Bridget Anne Kelly, a deputy chief of staff in Mr. Christie’s office, gave a signal to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to close the lanes about two weeks before the closings occurred.

“Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee,” she emailed David Wildstein, Mr. Christie’s close friend from high school, and one of his appointees at the Port Authority, which controls the bridge.

After the emails were released on Wednesday, Mr. Christie canceled his one public event for the day, which had been billed as an announcement of progress in the recovery from Hurricane Sandy. His office had no immediate comment.

Mr. Christie’s handpicked chairman of the Port Authority, David Samson, was also involved in the closings, according to the emails, which describe his efforts to “retaliate” against New York officials who had not been told of the changes and sought to ease the gridlock.

A text between Christie affiliates went like this.

“Is it wrong that I am smiling?” Mr. Wildstein texted Ms. Kelly.

“No,” she texted back.

“I feel badly about the kids,” he texted.

“They are the children of Buono voters,” she said, referring to Mr. Christie’s Democratic opponent, Barbara Buono, who was trailing consistently in the polls and lost by a wide margin.

Christie’s canceled all appearances today after these emails were made public. He might as well cancel his plans to run for president in 2016.

Virginia School Board Member Faces Ouster After Sending Racist Michelle Obama Emails

A string of racist emails and controversial remarks have shaken up a school board in southeastern Virginia’s Isle of Wight County, and now one of the people responsible is facing intense pressure to resign.

On Thursday, board members voted 4 to 1 to officially call for their colleague Herb DeGroft to step down over emails he sent this month from his board email account attacking first lady Michelle Obama. DeGroft was the only one who voted against the measure.

According to NBC12, one of the emails DeGroft sent to colleagues depicted bare-breasted, African female warriors along with the caption, “Michelle Obama’s high school reunion.” Another message claimed the first lady was paid $50 to model in National Geographic.

The emails didn’t stop with DeGroft’s initial sending. Board of Supervisors Vice Chairman Byron “Buzz” Bailey forwarded them to other board members and county employees. Bailey drew criticism earlier this month for saying “the South will rise again” during a board meeting on budgetary issues. Those comments, as well as his involvement with the racist emails, led to the resignation of Isle of Wight Division Superintendent Katrise Perera.
