Republican Congressman Upset that Obama Quotes the Bible – Audio

President Obama is a Christian. He has said this on many occasions and his past venues of worship suggest his Christian belief. So the president quoting and relying on verses from the Bible should come as no surprise to anyone. But Republican Rep. Dave Brat, cannot believe the president has the nerve to quote the Bible.

The president, Brat said, “is using the Christian tradition and trying to bring about compassion by bonking Republicans over the head with the Bible. It’s almost a comedy routine on what compassion and love is. He’s mocking his enemies in order to compel a larger federal state using the tradition of love.”

He said that the conservative movement “needs to reeducate its people that we own the entire tradition” of Christian love, because liberal professors “have rejected natural law” and religious ideas.

Coming Soon – President Obama’s Executive Action on Guns

People close to the President Obama’s administration say that in the coming days, the president will take Executive Actions on guns, more specifically, on a proposal that is extremely popular with the American people – better background checks on gun purchases.

Described as “imminent,” the set of executive actions would fulfill a promise by the President to take further unilateral steps the White House says could help curb gun deaths.

Planning for the action are not yet complete, and those familiar with the process warn that unforeseen circumstances could delay an announcement. But gun control advocates are expecting the new actions to be revealed next week, ahead of Obama’s annual State of the Union address, set for January 12.

The White House wouldn’t comment directly on the exact timing or content of Obama’s executive orders. White House spokesman Eric Schultz said that the President expected a set of recommendations on unilateral action to arrive at the beginning of the year.

He said Obama was “expressing urgency” for a list of steps he can take on his own after high-profile incidents of gun violence at the end of this year.

“It is complicated. That’s why it’s taken some time for our policy folks, our lawyers, and our expects to work through this and see what’s possible,” Schultz said.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton – Most Admired People in The World

I think it’s fair to say that no one polled Republicans on this. I think it’s fair to say that in the Republican circle, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the worst people in the world, not necessarily because of who they are or what they’ve done, but because of what party they belong to.

Republicans view everything through a political lens. But I digress.

The Gallup polls, which have been taken for both genders every year since 1948, asks respondents, “What woman or man that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most?”

The multi-billionaire hotelier and the leader of the Catholic Church earned 5 percent of the vote each; President Barack Obama won more than three times their respective shares, with 17 percent. Bernie Sanders ranked third in the poll, pulling 3 percent of the vote.

Bill Gates, Ben Carson, the Dalai Lama, George W. Bush and the Reverend Billy Graham earned 1 percent each.

For the 14th year in a row, Hillary Clinton won the distinction of most admired woman in the world in the survey. This was the 20th time the former first lady, senator and secretary of state has won the honor — a record for the poll.

Comedian Jerry Lewis Dogs President Obama, Praises Trump – Video

The well-known comedic icon Jerry Lewis, is not a fan of President Obama. And in a newly released interview with Raymond Arroyo, Lewis did not hold back.

“Refugees should stay where the hell they are,” said Lewis bluntly. “Hey, no one has worked harder for the human condition than I have, but they’re not part of the human condition. If 11 guys in the group of 10,000 are ISIS—how can I take that chance?”

…Lewis then said that President Obama was “never prepared” for ISIS and suggested that he was not a real leader…

…The clip concludes with Lewis praising Trump for his “showmanship.”

“I think he’s great,” said Lewis of Trump. “He’s a showman and we’ve never had a showman in the president’s chair.”

“Well, we had Ronald Reagan,” Arroyo interjected.

“Well, that’s different,” answered Lewis. “You can’t make do a comparison on Ronald Reagan because I can do three hours on him with just praise, he was so good.”

President Obama Has a Question for the 2016 Presidential Candidates – Video

A great question asked by the interviewer from NPR. The question had the president thinking for a while before he offered this; “I might just ask somebody, ‘Why do you want to do this?’ ” he said.

The president went on to say that being the most visible person on Earth gets old very quickly:

“And I suppose they would give a cliché answer because that’s what candidates do, but I will tell you as president, if you are interested just because you like the title or you like the trappings or you like the power or the fame or the celebrity, that side of it wears off pretty quick. At least it has for me.”

Obama’s Message to ISIS Leaders – “You’re Next” – Video

Maybe because of all the noise we’ve heard from the Republican presidential candidates lately, that President Obama is “doing nothing about ISIS” and “Obama has no plan” for ISIS, that caused the President to hold this brief press conference, reminding Americans and the world of all the successes the US led coalition against ISIS is having.

Surrounded by some of his top generals, the President outlined a few of the things his administration and coalition forces have done, including the nearly 9,000 bombs dropped on ISIS targets as of December 14th, and the taking out of ISIS leaders, “one by one.”

The President stressed the point that “ISIL cannot hide,” saying that “our message to their leaders is, ‘you’re next.'”

Ted Cruz Suggests President Obama Prefer Muslims Over Americans – Video

Ted Cruz has figured out a way to get another rise in the polls from the clueless Republican base with another dumb attack on the President. In talking to one of the original Obama Haters, Sean Hannity on Fox News, Cruz talked about the recent terrorist events in Paris, and his completely foolish views that the president prefers Muslims over Americans.

HANNITY: Senator, [Clinton] couldn’t say [“radical Islam”] during the debate Saturday, couldn’t say it today. Bernie Sanders thinks climate change is a bigger national security threat.

I want you to respond to that. And as you are, we have new footage, by the way, from inside the Paris cafe of some of the refugees (sic) attacking these innocent men, women and children. So what’s your answer to her and Bernie Sanders and Barack Obama when they say these things?

CRUZ: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, the modern Democratic Party, has a blindness to radical Islamic terrorism, and they’ve endangered the safety and security of this country, the safety and security of millions of Americans.

You know, have you noticed that the one time President Obama and Hillary Clinton are willing to use military force is when using it benefits radical Islamic terrorists? Go back to the beginning of the administration, Libya. Listen, Qaddafi was a bad man. He had a terrible human rights record, but he had voluntarily handed over his nuclear weapons efforts. He was aiding the United States in going after radical Islamic terrorists. He was targeting the terrorists. And what did Obama and Clinton do? They led NATO in bombing Qaddafi and doing everything they could to drive him out of power. And the consequence was they handed Libya over to warring tribes of radical Islamic terrorists. One of the reasons Benghazi happened, four Americans were murdered—It wasn’t just Hillary Clinton’s malfeasance on that night. It was the failed foreign policy that had handed that country over to radical Islamic terrorists.

They did the same thing in Egypt. Mubarak, again a flawed man, a dictator with a terrible human rights record, but he consistently stood as an ally with America against radical Islamic terrorists. What did Obama and Clinton do? Pushed Mubarak out and pushed the Muslim Brotherhood, which finances radical Islamic terrorism…

Cruz Threatens Obama – “Come Back and Insult Me To My Face”

This is no longer in the realms of “freedom of speech.” This irresponsible statement by Texas senator Ted Cruz is a direct threat and it should be taken as one! What exactly is he planning to do to the president if Mr. Obama was in his presence?

Now I understand that a direct threat to the President of the United States will give Cruz much favor with the so-called “patriots” in the Republican party, but it sounds like the Secret Service need to pay Cruz a visit!

Cruz was responding to Obama’s recent criticism of Republicans suggesting there be a religious test for Syrian refugees seeking entrance to the country, a plan he called “shameful” and “not American” while in Turkey for the Group of 20 summit.

“If you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries. But I would encourage you, Mr. President, come back and insult me to my face,” Cruz said, staring directly into the camera.

Cruz got even more schoolyard, challenging the President to a debate any place, any time.

“Let’s have a debate on Syrian refugees, right now. We can do it anywhere you want. I would prefer it in the United States and not overseas,” the Republican presidential candidate said. “We’ll do it on any station.”

Trevor Noah Shows Carson The Craziness of The Obama Vetting Process – Video

Ben Carson thinks the media is against him. The man is running for president and he expects the media to give him a free pass by ignoring his inconsistent statements about his past. Any questions by the media pointing out his lies and falsehoods are immediately shut down by Carson himself, and the usual Republican talking-points attacking the “mainstream media,” follows. Attacking the media plays well with his right-wing, and usually earns Carson more good favor among his Republican base.

Carson, convinced that he is the only presidential candidate ever to be vetted by the press, issued a challenge to the media – to find another president, namely President Obama, who went through the vetting process the way he is.

“If you could find me where that has happened with someone else, I’ll take that statement back,” Carson said, referring to his claim that Obama was not vetted.

Trevor Noah from Comedy Central took him up on that challenge.

Obama Slams GOP Candidates – They can’t Handle CNBC, How Can They Handle Putin?

And this is one of the reasons why Republicans are no match for the president. He is in a class by himself. He has more wit in his little finger than the 52 Republican candidates put together, and nothing these jokers do or say will ever change that.

At a democratic fundraiser in New York City on Monday, the president spoke about some of the nonsense going on in the Republican Party and in the GOP debates. One of the things he mentioned was the recent cry baby episode by Republican presidential candidates, complaining that the CNBC moderators were too hard on them and too unfair in their questions.

The president nailed it by saying that these are the same people who complained that he is weak when it comes to Putin. They claim they will be stronger. But as the president points out, how are they going to be stronger when dealing with Putin  when they couldn’t even handle questions from CNBC moderators?

“Every one of these candidates says, ‘Obama’s weak, Putin’s kicking sand in his face. When I talk to Putin, he’s going to straighten out,'” Obama said during a democratic fundraiser in New York City.

President Obama – “Playing Like a Girl Means You’re a Badass” – Video

While honoring the U.S Women’s Soccer team in the East Room today – you know, the same unbelievable team that beat Japan 5-2 in the World Cup earlier this year, President Obama let it slipped that “playing like a girl means you’re a badass!”

After much applause and laughter, the president clarified that he probably shouldn’t have said it that way. He explained, “playing like a girl means being the best! It means drawing the largest TV audience for a soccer match — men or women’s — in American history. It means wearing our nation’s crest on your jersey, taking yourself and your country to the top of the world. That’s what American women do, that’s what American girls do — that’s why celebrate this team.”

The hilarious video posted by ABC News on their twitter account said, WATCH: @POTUS just made his best Grumpy Cat face—to impersonate “gloomy” GOP politicians. In the video, the president talked jokingly about the Republicans and the Benghazi fiasco they had yesterday. Then he spoke about their gloomy outlook on America!

“Overall though, we are making enormous progress and it does make you wonder why is it that Republican politicians are so down on America,” the President said. “Have you noticed that? I mean they are gloomy,” he said, making the face. “They’re like Grumpy Cat.”
