Republicans Want Easier Access to Gun Silencers – Mass Murderers Rejoice

With all the massacres in America these days where crazy lunatics use guns to murder innocent people, you’d think every effort would be made to save lives.

Think about it. If the murderer in the next classroom has silencers and noise suppressors installed on his gun, then chances are other students might not be aware of the carnage taking place next door. With these sound suppresses installed, the murderer now has elemental surprise on his side when he goes from classroom to classroom committing his crime.

That element of surprise is exactly what House Republicans are trying to secure for everyone,  especially those individuals who will benefit the most from the devices – the crazy mass murderers.

House Republicans on Thursday introduced a bill that would eliminate a federal tax on gun silencers and would weaken licensing requirements that currently make the devices more difficult to buy than most firearms.

The Hearing Protection Act of 2015, proposed by Rep. Matt Salmon (R-Ariz.) and co-sponsored by 10 of his colleagues, would do this by removing silencers, which are also called suppressors, from the purview of the National Firearms Act, instead putting them in the same regulatory category as long guns. As its title suggests, the bill’s sponsors are framing it as an effort to keep shooters from damaging their ears.

In 1934, in the wake of Prohibition-era violence carried out by heavily armed bootleggers and gangsters, sound-suppressing devices were included on a list of NFA weaponry and other hardware, alongside firearms like machine guns and short-barreled shotguns. Today, purchases of silencers are still subject to a $200 fee, which covers an extensive FBI background check that can take months to complete.

Responsibility – Republicans Love Donald Trump – #PureInsanity

Republicans have no sense of responsibility, despite their claim that they are. It’s all a big lie and here’s why. They love Donald Trump and if given a chance, they will elect him president of the United States in a heartbeat! That, my friends, is not the thinking of a responsible party!

A new Washington Post ABC News Pol found that among Republicans, Donald Trump is surging right now! Nearly six in 10 — 57 percent — Republicans now have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 40 percent who have an unfavorable one. That marks a complete reversal from a late-May Post-ABC poll, in which 65 percent of Republicans saw Trump unfavorably.

Trump continues to be unpopular among the public at large, with negative marks outpacing positive ones 61-33. “Strongly unfavorable” views outnumber strongly positive ratings by a 3-1 ratio.

But Trump’s image has improved since his campaign launch; in May, just 16 percent had a favorable view of him, while 71 percent were unfavorable — by far the worst rating among a slew of candidates in that poll.

Former Republican House Speaker Accused of Sexually Abusing Another Male

Oh these Republicans have balls!

It is common knowledge that while Newt Gingrich masterminded the impeachment of President Bill Clinton for having an affair with Monica Lewinsky, Gingrich himself was busy having an affair of his own. And it is common knowledge that while Clinton was being impeached for said affair, another Republican leader, Rep. Bob Livingston of Louisiana, had to step down from being House Leader because he too was involved in multiple affairs.

Balls, right? Yea, I know.

But that’s not the end of if. Apparently, the biggest balls of all go to the next Republican who took over as House Speaker and became the longest-serving Republican House speaker in U.S. history, Dennis Hastert. It is now being revealed that Hastert had a secret of his own, and his secret was big… very big. Big enough that Hastert felt it was necessary to pay $3.5 million to a blackmailer to keep the secret… secret.

What was Hastert’s secret? Was it sexual in nature? Hell yea! He is a Republican after all. But unlike the sexual nature of his predecessors Newt and Livingston, Hastert’s sexual secret involved another man who might have been underage when Hastert had sex with him.

“It goes back a long way,” said one official discussing the recent seven-page indictment against Hastert.

On Friday, federal law enforcement dropped the anvil when they revealed that Hastert paid $1.7 million of the $3.5 million to a male he’s accused of sexually abusing when the boy was his student in Illinois.

And if they can all do it over, I’m sure Gingrich, Livingston and Hastert would all impeach Bill Clinton again for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Balls!

Another Conservative Arrested for Owning and Distributing Kiddie Porn

May 22, 2015 – Brooklyn, NY: Joseph Hayon, a Brooklyn politician running for a city council seat, is arraigned at Brooklyn Criminal Court for possession of child pornography.

This is straight from the morally superior depleted Republican party.

An ultra-conservative one-time Brooklyn city council candidate — whose campaign slogan was “Our children are our future” — has been nabbed for possessing and sharing kiddie porn, prosecutors said Friday.

Joseph Hayon, 37, was arrested Thursday and admitted to police that he traded the sick pics of kids between the ages of 2 and 12 in December 2014 using his email account ArtModel@juno.com, according to a criminal complaint.

At his arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court, prosecutors said a tip led police to search Hayon’s Midwood home, where the stash of child porn was found.

Cops confiscated Hayon’s two laptops, five desktops, video camera, Samsung cellphone and one DVD, prosecutors said.

He was also slapped with an order of protection Friday barring him from coming in contact with his four children, ages 9, 7, 4 and 15 months. He was released on $50,000 bail.

“I can’t comment, my lawyer told me not to talk,” a scruffy Hayon, clad in a yarmulke, button-down and khakis, told reporters when he was released.

When asked whether his wife, Batya, tipped cops off to his disgusting behavior, he only said, “Definitely not my wife.”

People Died, Many Injured and Republicans Want to Cut Funding to Amtrak

Republicans – how is it even possible for a party to always be on the wrong side of everything? How is that even possible?

After multiple deaths and even more injuries in Tuesday’s Amtrak train crash, here comes the Republicans and another attempt to cut funding to the agency.

As investigators still searched through the wreckage of the Amtrak train in Philadelphia, a political battle seethed over funding for the long-neglected rail network.

The crash of the train travelling between Washington DC to New York came just hours before politicians in the capital are due to meet to discuss a budget bill that could see funding for Amtrak cut by millions.

Supporters of Amtrak have been lobbying the House Appropriations Committee, not to reduce funding containing within a broader transportation bill. A draft of the bill would see Amtrak’s funding cut to to $1.13bn from the $1.4bn it typically receives annually, Politico reported.

On Wednesday morning, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the government had sent a letter to the committee urging it not to cut funding to Amtrak.

“There is clearly more that can be done when we’re talking about a railway infrastructure that is decades-old,” Mr Earnest told CNN.

“If there’s an opportunity for us to make further investments in our infrastructure that would better safeguard the traveling public, then those are investments that we should make.”

Reports said that Democrats had already been planning to try and defend funding for the network. But that will likely take on a new urgency given Tuesday night’s accident.

President Obama on The 47 GOP Traitors – “I’m Embarrassed For Them” – Video

In a preview for his Vice News interview, President Obama was asked about the recent backlash to the 47 Republican Senators who took it upon themselves to send a letter to Iran, urging the nation not to negotiate with President Obama because any nuclear agreement between the two parties may not last. Since making that ghastly mistake, Republicans have endured a national and international ridicule for their foolish decision.

The President was asked and weighed in.

“I’m embarrassed for them,” Mr. Obama said. “For them to address a letter to the Ayatollah, who they claim is our mortal enemy, and their basic argument is ‘don’t deal with our president because you can’t trust him to follow through on an agreement. That’s close to unprecedented.”

One by one, the signers to the letter have tried to distance themselves from the letter, but the damage has already been done as the Republican party is not only seen as a disappointment here in America, but a mockery worldwide.

Republicans to Iran – We Could Undo Your Deal with Obama

Congressional Republicans are tired of blocking domestic policies. They are now openly engaging in foreign and international obstruction of the President’s policies, and they don’t care who sees their obvious and sickening hate for this president.

Republican U.S. senators warned Iran’s leaders on Monday that any nuclear deal with President Barack Obama could last only as long as he remains in office, an unusual partisan intervention in foreign policy that could undermine delicate international talks with Tehran.

The open letter was signed by 47 senators, all but seven of the Republicans in the Senate, and none of Obama’s fellow Democrats, who called it a “stunt.” Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif dismissed it as a “propaganda ploy” from pressure groups he called afraid of diplomatic agreement.

In the letter, the senators said Congress plays a role in ratifying international agreements. Noting Obama will leave office in January 2017, they said any deal not approved by Congress would be merely “an executive agreement” that could be revoked by Congress.

The White House said the letter was a partisan effort to undermine Obama’s foreign policy by lawmakers who oppose a deal. “Congressional Republicans are ready to fast-forward to the military approach before the diplomatic approach has been given the opportunity to succeed,” spokesman Josh Earnest said.

A Western diplomat said the action was “without precedent.” “It’s 100 percent an American issue, but obviously it could become a real problem,” the diplomat said.

Iran’s Zarif blasted the Republicans. “I wish to enlighten the authors that if the next administration revokes any agreement ‘with the stroke of a pen’ … it will have simply committed a blatant violation of international law,” he said in a statement.

Democrats Threatening to Boycott Netanyahu’s Republican Speech to Congress

And they should boycott! Benjamin Netanyahu is slowly becoming a polarizing figure in American politics, and that is not a good look for the Israeli prime minister. Republicans, through their continuous efforts to disrespect of the President Of The United States, have invited the foreign leader to address a joint session of Congress without notifying the White House, and through that careless action, they are succeeding on tearing apart an already fragile relationship between the United States and Israel

Dozens of House Democrats are threatening to boycott Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s March 3 speech before a joint session of Congress, Politico reported Tuesday, another sign of how the speech is exacerbating partisan tensions over Israel.

Vice President Joe Biden hasn’t committed to attending, according to Politico. He would ordinarily sit beside Boehner as president of the Senate during a joint session of Congress.

The White House has already said that President Obama will not meet with Netanyahu during his visit to Washington, D.C., citing the Israeli elections two weeks later. Secretary of State John Kerry also will not meet with the prime minister.

Republican Logic – Repeal Immigration Reform or No Money for Homeland Security

Congressional Republicans are playing hardball with America’s security because they don’t want any immigration reform. And as far as they are concerned, the perfect way to hammer at immigration reform is to include repeal language in a funding bill for Homeland Security. Their stance is clear – if they can’t repeal the president’s immigration order, they will provide zero funds for America’s security.

Funding for Homeland Security runs out February 28th.

“There’s not a Plan B,” said Republican Senate Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), moments after the Senate vote, “because this is the plan.”

No plan B. The only plan these Republicans have is all politics – dismantle the all the immigration reforms put in place by President Obama, and do it by any means necessary. And after the reforms are dismantled, chalk up a win for the party regardless of the consequences to the nation.

Rep. John Fleming (R-La.) echoed that message, saying “many of us agree that we should stand behind the one bill that we sent over there.”

“Most of us feel that way,” he said just before the Senate vote. “Anything less than that, we’re not going to get any better result anyway. So why not just go for what’s really right?”

Tuesday’s Senate vote was 51-48 to end debate on the House-passed Homeland Security bill — far shy of the 60 supporters GOP leaders needed to move to a vote on final passage.

Every Senate Democrat voted against proceeding to the package, as did Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.).

It’s unclear how GOP leaders intend to proceed. Republican leaders in both chambers are under pressure to stand firm in opposition to Obama’s actions.

DHS funding is set to expire on Feb. 28, and Republicans are also wary of the political blowback if they’re seen as threatening a shutdown of the agency, particularly in the immediate wake of the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris last month.

Republicans to Waste More Tax Dollars on Another Obamacare Repeal Vote

Not only are they wasting the American people’s time with these pointless Obamacare repeal votes, these so-called “conservatives” are wasting our tax dollars as well. Millions of dollars down the drain on over 50 failed votes, and these “conservatives” see nothing wrong with wasting even more money on Obamacare repeal.

Is this why we pay these fools, or are we the fools for keeping them in office?

The Republican-led House is planning to vote next week to fully repeal Obamacare, a GOP leadership said on Wednesday.

It will be the fourth House vote to repeal the law in its entirety, and the latest in more than 50 votes aimed at dismantling President Barack Obama’s signature domestic achievement.

The House last voted to wipe out Obamacare in May 2013, after GOP freshmen complained that they had not had the chance to vote to repeal the law yet.

The upcoming vote is likely to succeed in the House and face a filibuster in the Senate and a veto threat from Obama. It appears to be an attempt to help more than three-dozen newly elected House Republicans win points with their base.

Fox News Slam Republicans Over Netanyahu’s Planned Speech – Video

The people at Fox News are not fans of the president and have displayed their hate for the man from the time he announced his intentions to run for presidency. But there is an issue that’s causing a shockwave at Fox, and that issue is the disrespect John Boehner and the Republicans leveled against the president by inviting Benjamin Netanyahu to a congressional speaking engagement without telling the president.

The White House has already said that with this proposed speech, Netanyahu and the Republicans have “spat” in the president’s face and apparently, Fox News agrees.

“And to make you get a sense of really how, forgive me, wicked, this whole thing is, the Secretary of State John Kerry met with the Israeli Ambassador to the United States for two hours on Tuesday, Ron Dermer. The ambassador, never mentioned the fact that Netanyahu was in negotiations and finally agreed to come to Washington, not to see the president, but to go to Capitol Hill, speak to a joint session of congress and criticize the president’s policy. I have to say I’m shocked.”

Congressional Republicans Admit – “Climate change is real and is not a hoax”

But don’t worry Republican voters, this coming to their senses is only temporary. When they campaign in their next elections, these same Republicans would tell you all that climate change is a hoax, and like the faithful sheep that you are, you will love them for it.

Lord help us all!

The Senate on Wednesday voted that “climate change is real and is not a hoax” as Democrats used the Keystone XL pipeline debate to force votes on the politically charged issue ahead of the 2016 elections.

The “hoax” amendment to the pipeline bill from Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) passed 98-1, with only Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker, the chairman of the campaign operation for Senate Republicans, voting “no.”

In a surprise, the Senate’s leading skeptic of climate science, Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), voted in favor of the amendment — but made clear he doesn’t believe humans are the primary driver of climate change.

The GOP “yes” votes also included three of the GOP’s leading contenders for the White House: Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas), Rand Paul (Ky.) and Marco Rubio (Fla.).
