Donald Trump Goes After John McCain – “He’s Not a War Hero…”

Donald Trump is well known. He is no a new in America or the world for that matter. But it wasn’t until he said some rather disparaging things about Mexicans that Republicans took a second look at this man and crowned him their new leader. In some recent polls, Donald Trump is leading all other Republican candidates for the party’s presidential nomination in 2016.

So what has Trump said that’s giving him so much love among Republicans? His most recent statement was to advise Americans to stay away from Mexico, but before that, Trump engaged in a verbal war with Mexico and Mexicans by saying, “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some, I assume, are good people.”

For that statement, Trump was admired and fell into grace with the Republican voter. A recent Fox News Poll gave Trump 18% support from the Republican voter for his immigration stance on Mexico. That 18% was enough to propel Trump to first place in a crowded field of presidential wannabes, with Scott Walker coming in second with 15%. Jeb Bush, the brother of former president George Bush, came in third among the Republican voters with only 14% support.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Republican presidential field basically tip-toed around Trump’s statement bashing Mexicans as drug dealers, criminals and rapists. These Republicans apparently couldn’t decide whether to agree or disagree with the donald.

But Trump has not stopped there. On Saturday, he said something else that is sure to keep his name in the news for the foreseeable future. Donald Trump decided to take on John McCain.

In a speech before a Conservative Christian leadership conference in Iowa on Saturday, Trump shared this about McCain; “He’s not a war hero,” he said about McCain, who as a pilot in the Vietnam war was shot down and held hostage for five years before being released. “He’s a war hero because he was captured,” Trump continued, “I like people who weren’t captured.” And that statement kicked off a firestorm of criticism as other Republican candidates dumped on Trump in defense of McCain.

“Donald Trump owes every American veteran and in particular John McCain an apology,” said Rick Perry.

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said that anybody serious about being president would not be disrespectful of prisoners of war, and predicted that the early nominating states would render an unmistakable verdict on Mr. Trump’s candidacy.

“Here’s what I think they’re going to say: ‘Donald Trump, you’re fired,’ ” Mr. Graham said to laughs and applause.

“I unequivocally denounce him,” said Scott Walker. But, who cares. The Republican voters apparently love Donald Trump and all he says and all he represents. They’ve placed him in first place to carry their party’s mantle in the 2016 presidential race. And with this apparent vote of confidence, Trump will continue to be Trump.

Responsibility – Republicans Love Donald Trump – #PureInsanity

Republicans have no sense of responsibility, despite their claim that they are. It’s all a big lie and here’s why. They love Donald Trump and if given a chance, they will elect him president of the United States in a heartbeat! That, my friends, is not the thinking of a responsible party!

A new Washington Post ABC News Pol found that among Republicans, Donald Trump is surging right now! Nearly six in 10 — 57 percent — Republicans now have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 40 percent who have an unfavorable one. That marks a complete reversal from a late-May Post-ABC poll, in which 65 percent of Republicans saw Trump unfavorably.

Trump continues to be unpopular among the public at large, with negative marks outpacing positive ones 61-33. “Strongly unfavorable” views outnumber strongly positive ratings by a 3-1 ratio.

But Trump’s image has improved since his campaign launch; in May, just 16 percent had a favorable view of him, while 71 percent were unfavorable — by far the worst rating among a slew of candidates in that poll.

Those of us who grew up in the era of summer reruns have had the most difficult time with both the new media and political environments. There just is no downtime anymore, what with 24-hour news cycles and the panicked reaction of the main television networks to phones, Netflix, YouTube and on-demand programming.

So it makes perfect sense that we will have a summer jammed to the gills with Donald Trump, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Rick Perry, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley. Not that these candidates don’t have things to say, because they do. It’s just that come the fall, they’ll be off the headlines and back to being annoyances and debate fodder for the wealthier, more established name-brand candidates. It’s not fair and it certainly isn’t democratic, nor does it help the country when money determines your political life, but that’s the way it is, and has always been.

The stark reality is that candidates need to run actual campaigns with strategies and staff, and that takes professionals who know what they’re doing, donor lifelines, media access, and political experience under the heat and glare of the media spotlight. Right now, we’re getting the free media show that only the second tier candidates can provide. Hillary Clinton is sharpening her economic message, ahead of Monday’s speech, Jeb’s reconnecting with the bluebloodlines inherent in the Bush family, dining with Mitt at the Walker Point compound, and Scott Walker is wowing them with his approachable personality, but not with his smarts.

I know it’s rather gauche to put Chris Christie in with the varsity because most major publications and even dyed-in-the-wool Morris County, New Jersey Republicans are writing him off (no link; just a conversation I had with said woolen GOPer), but I’m not going to get on that train just yet. It’s true that he’s got the trifecta when it comes to negatives–a scandal, no record and a lousy personality–but the man does fight and with a frontrunner named Bush, this year is going to be a bit unpredictable on the right side of the spectrum.

Which brings me back to Donald and Bernie. Trump is blowing hot air and getting media traction for it, but it’s attention for all the wrong reasons. He’s got nothing to run on and no policy except outrage. As a matter of fact, he even makes Christie’s YouTube rants look like Bill Buckley on Firing Line (I’m trying to win the Most Obscure Reference award today. DraftKings has a daily game, you know). He’ll be off the radar by the time the first GOP debate comes around and I would be surprised if he’s even in it. Of course, if he is, then his campaign will really end there because people will see him for what he is.

Bernie Sanders is the anti-Trump; he has an actual message for the country and the far left is drinking it up because Hillary won’t dare say the same things on the campaign trail. Sanders is playing to large crowds, but again, he needs to raise money and run ads. He also needs to appeal to a larger portion of the Democratic electorate. Hillary will eventually need to fold in some of Sanders’ ideas if she hopes to keep the faithful in her corner, but I just don’t see him being a force after Iowa or New Hampshire. If anything, Clinton will be expected to win those races handily, so if Sanders is close then that will be the narrative. But a loss is a loss and money doesn’t follow losses.

Still, we should enjoy the summer fun because once the campaign turns serious, there’s no turning back.

Trump’s Deleted Tweet Attacking Jeb Bush’s Wife – PIC

Don’t look for the tweet in Donald Trump’s twitter feed. It has since been deleted by the Republican presidential candidate.

This is the man Republicans apparently love. In some recent polls, he is number one in the race to be their presidential nominee.

The rest of the set however saw Trump for who he is, “a fool and a fraud” as said by Jonathan Hoenig, one of the panelist on the set. While hammering Trump, Jonathan also pointed out that Trump cannot talks a lot about negotiating with other countries, namely Mexico, to which Jonathan said, “negotiate with Mexico? He can’t even negotiate with Macy’s!”

Donald Trump Sues Univision for $500 Million

If Donald Trump is not a racist, he definitely has racist tendencies. That may explain why he said those racist things about Mexican people causing Univision to cut ties with him and the Miss USA Pageant. But in addition to his racist tendencies, Trump is sometimes a sore loser, and has filed a $500 million lawsuit against Univision over the network’s decision to cut ties with the Miss USA pageant.

The Blaze reports that Univision, which was under contract to air the pageant live in Spanish, said it would no longer do so after Trump’s controversial comments on those illegally entering the USA from Mexico.

Trump, however, contested Univision’s claim, contending the network’s move was really aimed at silencing his freedom of speech as he begins his presidential campaign. Trump said in a statement that nothing he has said was different from what he has been saying for “many years.”

“I want strong borders, and I do not support or condone illegal immigration,” Trump said. “There is a high level of crime occurring in this country due to unchecked illegal immigration. This is a major security issue for the United States.”

“Additionally, the terrible trade deals our government is routinely entering into with Mexico are causing great financial harm to our country,” he continued. “We are losing a huge number of jobs, manufacturing opportunities and money due to poorly negotiated trade deals, a fact that is indisputable. That won’t happen if I become president – this disturbing trend will end and it will end quickly.”

Trump said that he has “great respect for Mexico and love for the Mexican people,” contending his comments have been manipulated by the media to frame him as a racist.

Republicans Fooled Again – New Poll Has Donald Trump in Second Place – #Insanity

In case you didn’t know, Donald Trump is really not running for President. Yes, I know, he made an announcement stating that he is running, but believe me when I tell you that he isn’t. What Trump is doing now is something he has done multiple times in the past – fool Republicans into thinking that he is running so he can sell a book or gain more viewership for his television show or get more reservations in his hotels. It worked in the past, so chances are it will work again in Trump’s favor.

And the Republican voter simply cannot figure this out!

Take this new poll as an example. There are those out there who really believe Donald Trump is running for president! A new national poll has Donald Trump in second place to Jeb Bush. According to the poll by Suffolk University, Bush is sailing away with a grand old 15%. Trump is a distant second at 11%.

No other candidates are in double digits, with 8 percent for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, 7 percent for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 6 percent for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, 5 percent for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and 4 percent each for businesswoman Carly Fiorina, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

“Jeb Bush continues to lead, but Donald Trump has emerged as an anti-Jeb Bush alternative in New Hampshire,” said David Paleologos, the director of the Suffolk University poll. “Many of those who like Trump are voting for him, and although many more dislike him, the unfavorables are split up among many other candidates. It’s the politics of plurality.”

Jon Stewart on Donald Trump – He is a “batsh*t billionaire” – Video

Donald Trump is running for president. Have you heard? He made a “speech” about it yesterday. It’s the kind of speech that would make Sarah Palin proud. This “speech” has been described by Jon Stewart as “the most beautifully ridiculous jibber-jabber ever to pour from the mouth of a batshit billionaire.”

Stewart goes on…

“America’s id is running for president! This speech was so fucked up that in the middle of it, all the liquid in his body tried to escape from the corner of his mouth.”

Donald Trump on Iraq “We shouldn’t have been there”

Now that Jeb Bush is totally ridiculed by both Democrats and Republicans for saying that, given what he knows now he would still invade Iraq, other Republican presidential pretenders are jumping on the bandwagon trying to distance themselves from Jeb Bush, George Bush and the whole Iraq invasion.

Enter presidential pretender, Donald Trump. Apparently, he and Preside Obama are in one accord when it comes to the Iraq invasion.

On “Fox and Friends,” co-host Steve Doocy asked Trump about reports that the Islamic State took control of Ramadi in Iraq and whether Trump would call for “boots on the ground” following ISIL’s latest attack.

“Well, I would have never been in Iraq,” Trump answered, according to a clip highlighted by Mediaite.

Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck later asked Trump if he thinks the U.S. should have left Iraq, given what we know now.

“We shouldn’t have been there, and once we were there, we probably should have stayed,” Trump said. “The Middle East has been totally decapitated. It’s a mess. The balance has been lost between Iraq and Iran.”

Trump then referenced Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who on Sunday struggled to explain whether the decision to invade Iraq was a mistake.

“These characters, like Rubio made a total fool of himself on Chris Wallace’s program, talking about ‘We’re better off without Saddam Hussein.’ Give me a break,” Trump said. “Right now we have ISIS, which is worse than Saddam Hussein. At least Saddam Hussein did one thing: he killed terrorists. He was very good at killing terrorists.”

Trump noted that Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction.

“We had very bad intelligence. He had none,” he said.

Donald Trump Endorses Single Payer Healthcare – Video

Donald Trump went on David Letterman last night and spewed some lies about Obamacare. So much lies were told, that David Letterman actually had to interject at one point, saying “I don’t believe that is true.” At another point when Trump continued complaining about Obamacare, he accused the system of containing “fraud and abuse,” to which Letterman asked for documented proof of said “fraud and abuse.”

But in all the lies, Trump spoke about a friend of his who suffered a serious medical condition while visiting in Scotland. According to Trump, his friend was only supposed to be there for four days when he got sick, and was taken to a hospital where he was treated by some very “great doctors” giving him “great care.” According to Trump, when his friend asked “where do I pay,” he was told, “there are no charge.”

This of course is because Scotland has a single payer type system, and in comparing the American system to that in Scotland, Trump said, “we can have a great system in this country…” before he was cut off by Letterman. But following his line of reasoning one can easily conclude that Trump prefers the Scotland system than the system here in America.

Donald Trump on 2016 – “I am considering it seriously”

Back up the clown car. Another clowns wants to hop in.

“A lot of people think I have fun with [talking about running for president] and I enjoy the process,” Donald Trump said while at the Economic Club of Washington on Monday night. , “but the country is in very serious trouble so I am considering it seriously.”

Asked when he’ll decide, Trump said: “March, April or May.”

“I think we need someone very good, very fast, or we’ll be in a lot of trouble,” Trump said.

He said he’d rather do what he’s doing now, but that as far as a run for the presidency goes, “until I see someone I think is outstanding, I’d be inclined to do it.”

Donald Trump Wants Obama’s Resignation Because One Doctor Has Ebola in NYC

What else can I say about the idiot named Donald Trump that would convey to you how much of an idiot he really is? Well how about this: Donald Trump is now asking for the President’s resignation because a doctor traveled from West Africa to New York, then developed the Ebola virus days later.

Trump, in the vastness of his cranium, took to Twitter moments after it was revealed that a doctor may be infected with the virus and demanded that president’s resignation. Said trump, “If this doctor, who so recklessly flew into New York from West Africa, has Ebola, then Obama should apologize to the American people & resign!”

First of all, the doctor who Trump said “recklessly flew into New York” was not piloting the plane. And, said plane did not hit any of Trump’s buildings during this “reckless” flight. There might have been some turbulence but nothing to classify the flight as “reckless.” Actually, turbulence during a flight is common and quite frankly, expected. His plane did not almost hit the World Financial Center nor did the plane land anywhere near Wall Street. In fact, it was a rather non-eventful flight as nothing out of the ordinary was reported to traffic control. I know, I checked.

Putting the “recklessly flew into New York” claim aside, Trump wants Obama to resign because in a city that has 8.4 million people, one doctor contracted Ebola in another country while he was there helping the less fortunate. In case you forgot, Trump is the same one that said anyone traveling to West Africa to help these victims should “suffer the consequences” of their decision.

The doctor Trump hates so much is currently in isolation in one of the best hospitals in the nation! After he arrived in New York on October 17th, he checked his own temperature twice a day until the first symptoms of Ebola began manifesting on October 23rd. When he saw the signs, the doctor immediately reported his condition and was transported to Bellevue.

But that’s not good enough for the hateful old man named Trump! He apparently wants the doctor to suffer the consequences of his decision and die because he chose to help others. And he wants the doctor to die somewhere in West Africa! And then, he want’s Obama out!

Why stop at resignation Trump, why not call for Obama’s impeachment and possible imprisonment and, AND, maybe you can have him deported after he serves his prison term. Sidenote, you should lock him up for life and then deport him back to Kenya after he serves his life sentence! That’ll teach that Obama!

Trump, you are an idiot, just in case it wasn’t said earlier in this post!
