Woman Dies to Avoid Voting for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton

That’s not my take on it, that’s what her obituary said.

According to polls, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the two least liked presidential nominees in modern American history. In fact, you may have heard some of your friends say they’d rather die than vote for either one of them… and that’s exactly what one Virginia woman’s obituary is claiming she did.

An obituary published in The Richmond Times Dispatch on Tuesday states that “faced with the prospect of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 68.”

The obituary doesn’t say anything else about her political views and only notes that she was a “faithful child of God” who was “devoted her life to sharing the love she received from Christ with all whose lives she touched as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and nurse.”

SNL – Donald Trump Considers George Zimmerman for Vice President – Video

The Saturday Night Live video below shows Donald Trump and Chris Christie going through the rigorous process of choosing a running-mate. And fittingly, in accordance with all his other nonsensical “policies,” Donald Trump suggested George Zimmerman – the Florida man who followed a black, unarmed teenager, picked a fight with that teenager then murdered the teen – for his running mate.

“How about a guy from a swing state, Florida,” Christie suggested. “He’s half-Hispanic, with a proven record for standing up for himself.”

“George Zimmerman,” Trump blurted out.

“No!” Christie immediately replied. “No no no no no no. Marco Rubio.”

“Oh, little Marco,” Trump said. “I can’t ask him to be V.P. until his parents sign the release form.”

Hillary Clinton’s Ad – What is Donald Trump Hiding in his Taxes – Video

Donald Trump is obviously hiding something. He has made several statements about when he would release his taxes and has backtracked on all those statements. So if you’re a sensible American who watched all the recent presidential candidates released their taxes, then you naturally wonder… what’s the hold up? Why isn’t Trump releasing his?

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is asking that very question and has produced the video below detailing much of Trump’s previous timelines about when he would release his taxes. Those self-imposed timelines have long come and gone. We’re still waiting…

Trump Shows Video of Hillary Clinton Laughing as Benghazi Burns – Video

Truth is not a necessary or required component of Donald Trump’s brand of politics.

In a video released on his Instagram account, the businessman turned professional politician and leader of the Republican party pushes the envelope even further, showing a laughing Hillary Clinton superimposed on another video of a burning Benghazi. Also featured in the video are three family members of the deceased, also casting blame on Hillary Clinton.

Republicans have longed blamed then Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, for the Benghazi tragedy. And they all conveniently forgot their role in this tragedy when they refused allocate funds for embassy protections. Donald Trump, being he master politician that he is, has once again managed to ignore the real issues facing Americans. Again he has grabbed our attention with a shiny Republican talking point called BENGHAZI!

And the main stream “news” media soaks it all up!

Donald Trump Backtracks on his “Ban All Muslims” Policy

Like much of his other statements, Republicans are beginning to realize that Donald Trump’s words carry absolutely no weight. His most recent backtrack comes after London elected its first Muslim mayor last week, and that new mayor voiced his concerns that he might not being able to visit the United States under a Trump presidency.

“If Donald Trump becomes the president, I’ll be stopped from going there by virtue of my faith, which means I can’t engage with American mayors and swap ideas,” London’s mayor Sadiq Khan said.

Naturally, this concern from one of America’s main ally is forcing Donald Trump to punch a few holes in his “ban all Muslims” policy.

“There will always be exceptions,” Mr. Trump said when asked in an interview on Monday how his proposed ban would affect London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan.

“I was happy to see that,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Khan’s election. “I think it’s a very good thing, and I hope he does a very good job because frankly that would be very, very good.”

Asked why, Mr. Trump said, “Because I think if he does a great job, it will really — you lead by example, always lead by example. If he does a good job and frankly if he does a great job, that would be a terrific thing.”

Don’t Like Trump? Does Trump-Christie Make You Feel Better?

I’ve read some scary headlines over the past few months about the primaries and the Trump march to the GOP nomination, but now that it’s all-but-official, the race for his running mate is beginning to take shape.

The early signs are, of course, terrible: Chris Christie, the roach of the GOP, is back in the national kitchen baseboard.  You read that right, and I hope you weren’t eating.

In a truly remarkable political year, the party that runs on wars–on Christmas, Coal, and Women–has finally declared war on itself.  Both presidents Bush, and the one who did not get there, have all said that they will not go to the GOP convention in Cleveland this summer and will likely not even vote for president in November, even though they could write in Jeb. What a family. Conservatives across the country, from George Will to Russ Douthat to Mitt Romney and myriad others, have urged their fellow Republicans to oppose Trump, nominate a third-party candidate or, apostasy!, vote for Hillary. And they’re doing this because they believe that Donald Trump is not temperamentally suited for the Oval Office (the man’s not even suited for Ovaltine, if truth be told). On this, they are correct.

But there is another reason the GOP faithful are abandoning Trump, and that’s because he hasn’t supported the Reaganite vision of conservatism the party has pushed since the 1970s. Never mind that Reagan couldn’t get elected in a Ted Cruz party, but the sentiment is clear. On this point, that the party needs a true conservative, they are absolutely wrong, and that’s why Trump is the nominee. The GOP has alienated its base so thoroughly, they’ll follow Trump’s isolationist, anti-immigrant, misogynistic, racist rantings all the way to November (of course, many Trump supporters do agree with his ideas). The base doesn’t care about the economics of tax cuts or shrinking the government programs that have kept them afloat for the past few decades. They want their power and their middle class wage jobs back. A more conservative candidate, they have rightfully identified, will not help. So what’s really happened is that the conservatives think the party needs to go farther to the right, but the evidence is showing exactly the opposite. That’s not a recipe for success in November.

How will Chris Christie help? He can be a true conservative even though he isn’t one. He can also, perhaps, batter the Democratic VP candidate into submission the way he did Marco Rubio. He can be Trump’s pit bull on the campaign trail. While these are important attributes, I doubt that they will help Trump, which is why I don’t think Christie will be his running mate. Then again, who thought we’d be where we are now? A unified GOP could not elect John McCain or Mitt Romney. A fatally split party will have a hard time electing Donald Trump.

Donald Trump Branded a “Sociopath” by a Former Republican Senator

Former U.S. Sen. Gordon Humphrey (R-N.H.), a supporter and delegate of former Republican presidential candidate John Kasich, called the presumptive Republican presidential nominee a “sociopath,” saying he would never support the donald.

“Unequivocally, I’m not supporting Donald Trump,” Humphrey instructed the New Hampshire Union Chief. “I believe he’s a sociopath.”

“Sociopath” is just one of many names used by Republicans of all people, to describe Donald Trump. Racist and xenophobic are other names often associated with the Republican leader.

John McCain Admits – I Could Lose in Arizona Because of Donald Trump – Audio

Arizona Republican Senator, John McCain, has admitted that he has no other choice but to fall in line like a good sheep and follow the fox that is Donald Trump where ever that fox leads. But just a month ago when John McCain thought he was talking off the record, he told an audience about his fears having Donald Trump being at the top of the Republican presidential ticket, and the misery he face in trying to win his Arizona senate seat again.

“If you listen to or watch Hispanic media in the state or in the country, you will see it’s all anti-Trump,” McCain, the 2008 GOP presidential nominee, said at the event. “The Hispanic community is roused and angry in a way that I have never seen in 30 years.”

McCain, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, blamed Trump’s remarks that Mexican immigrants are “rapists” and “murderers,” along with his proposal to build a wall along the Mexican border, for Latino voters’ anger.

“Frankly, there’s an element of nativism to it,” the senator said.

Mitch McConnell is “Committed” to Supporting Donald Trump

The same man who stood on the Senate floor and vowed to make a sitting President a “one-term president,”has  issued a statement saying that he is “committed” to supporting Donald Trump for president – Trump, a man who has successfully demonstrated the mannerism of a 3rd grade school boy.

“I have committed to supporting the nominee chosen by Republican voters, and Donald Trump, the presumptive nominee, is now on the verge of clinching that nomination,” McConnell said in a 75-word statement.

“Republicans are committed to preventing what would be a third term of Barack Obama and restoring economic and national security after eight years of a Democrat in the White House,” McConnell said. “As the presumptive nominee, he now has the opportunity and the obligation to unite our party around our goals.”

Ted Cruz’s Failed Intimidation Tactic on Donald Trump Supporter – Video

What happens when supporters of Donald Trump attend a Ted Cruz event in Indiana? A face to face confrontation between Cruz and said Trump supporter of course, as Ted Cruz tried and failed to intimidate the man.

Protesters started chanting “Do the math” during Cruz’s stop in Marion, Ind., prompting the Texas senator to walk up to to a demonstrator holding a Trump campaign sign.

The man, who refused to give his name to reporters but said he had come from Ohio, interrupted Cruz and repeatedly called him “Lyin’ Ted,” Trump’s favorite nickname for his rival.

“With all respect, Donald Trump is deceiving you, playing you for a chump,” Cruz said.

“Ask yourself two questions: One, why is it that the mainstream media so desperately wants Donald Trump to be the Republican nominee? And why is it John Boehner supports Donald Trump?” Cruz asked, referring to the former GOP Speaker from Ohio.

The men stood just a few feet from each other, and were enveloped in a throng of reporters and Cruz supporters.

Cruz repeatedly attempted to make his pitch while the man interrupted him.

The protester chided Cruz for calling on John Kasich to get out of the presidential race, telling him to take his own advice. The man told Cruz that Trump is certain to win the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the GOP nomination.

“You’ll find out tomorrow,” the man said, “Indiana don’t want you.”

The attacks also got personal at times, with the man jabbing him about rumors of infidelity and panning his Canadian birth. Cruz was also criticized for having ties to Goldman Sachs. Cruz’s wife Heidi worked for the investment bank.

“Where’s your Goldman Sachs jacket? We know your wife works there,” the man said.

The Neutering of Trump. Just Spayin’

Word is that Donald Trump will act more presidential from this point forward. Of course, not everyone is buying it, but the New York primary seems to have marked a turning or shifting point in the GOP race, if for no other reason than it looks more and more like Trump will be the Republican nominee this fall. Yes, I know that many party stalwarts are still trying to undermine his campaign and delegate count, and they say that even if Trump is 10 or 20 delegates short of 1237 that they will stop him, but that’s easy to say in late April or even May. Come July, when angry Trump supporters gather in the streets or threaten to walk out or support him for a third-party run, the GOP will relent.

But, as we have read over the past few days, that might not be necessary because Trump now understands that if he really wants to be taken seriously as president, he’s going to have to tamp down his comments, become less controversial, and appear like, well, a politician.

Welcome to the end of the Trump phenomenon.

It’s not like he commands a majority of the GOP popular votes, because even his most dominant showings are barely over 50%. At best he commands 35-40% allegiance among the party’s base supporters. That, in no way can translate into an electoral victory in the fall. He has simply insulted and lied and shifted his positions too many times for him to capture the vital center from which all presidential aspirants must live during the campaign.

Take for example the Cook Political Report’s map of electoral votes. Can Trump really win Iowa after not capturing it in the caucuses? Are Nevada and Colorado really toss-ups given what he’s said about Mexican immigrants? Virginia just elected a Democratic governor. Will Trump convince enough of those voters to switch to him? The only way he can do that is by fleeing from his bombastic past and embrace a boring future.

Trump has built his campaign on the provocative and the vague, but if he wants to appeal to more voters he’s going to have to leave all of that behind and hope that most voters forget that he ever said such things. This will not happen. Also, his most loyal supporters don’t want another politician in the White House. They want a real maverick who says what he believes, even if, possibly especially if, it’s misogynist, racist, anti-Muslim and largely made up of magazine articles he’s recently read. Will they continue to support a Trump who pivots to the party line?

I would think not.

Ann Coulter Hates “the new” Donald Trump

Ann Coulter is slowly beginning to realize that Donald Trump is nothing more than a cunning Republican politician, who has master the art of  saying whatever is necessary to get votes. The loose-mouth Trump made a political name for himself and Republicans like Coulter fell in love with his 3rd grade mannerism – a trait they look for in their leader.

But the politician in Trump is looking forward to bigger things than the elementary level maneuvering necessary to win the Republican base. Trump wants more, and the mare basics would not appeal to this larger audience. So Trump is surrounding himself with party insiders, people who know the ropes, people who could help him navigate his way out of the muck Republicans wallow in, and into a more generally accepted mode.

Donald Trump is a politician, and he is changing, and the Republicans stuck in the muck cannot accept his change.

Slowly, Ann Coulter and the other juveniles in the Republican party are beginning to realize that they have been fooled. Fooled by a 3rd grade Republican politician and his 3rd grade mannerism.
