Trump Tells Republican Voter that He’ll Deport Members of Her Family – Video

She is a registered Republican but has undocumented immigrants in her family. An anomaly, yes, I know. Everybody knows Republicans don’t have immigrants as part of their family, right? I mean, that’s just unheard of! But in this unheard of situation, the registered Republican anomaly needed to know what will happen to her family if Donald Trump becomes president.

…if Donald Trump becomes president… I shudder at the thought!

In a town hall meeting, the Republican anomaly explained that although she has a family member in the military protecting America, there are members of her family here illegally and they have been here for illegally for 25 years. What will happen to them if you are president? She wanted to know.

Trump answered;

They’ve been here how many years? We’re going to do something. For people that have been — look, we’re either going to have a country or we’re not going to have a country. But many people are very fine people. and I’m sure these are very, very fine people. They’re going to go, and we’re going to create a path where we can get them into this country legally, okay? But it has to be done legally.

“You will deport them first, right?” Asked the host.

“They’re going to go, and ” Trump said. “Then come back and come back legally.”

I cannot guarantee it, but I’m sure the registered Republican anomaly will vote for Donald Trump in the election. Republicans aren’t very bright.

Donald Trump Prefers Harriet Tubman on the $2, Not the $20

A perfect example of why a certain segment of the Republican party love Donald Trump – because he say the things they think!

In case you haven’t heard, Harriet Tubman,  an African American abolitionist who helped free slaves on the Underground Railroad, was recently chosen to be featured on the front of the $20 bill starting in 2020. Andrew Jackson, the current holder of that position, will be placed on the back of the bill.

This decision has obviously caused a raucous among those who cannot stand to see an African-American acknowledged for doing something good and apparently, Donald Trump, the new Republican leader, is one of these people.

I guess the $20 bill is too popular. They want her on a bill that is hardly in circulation.

“Andrew Jackson had a great history and I think it’s very rough when you take somebody off the bill,” Trump said during a town hall interview on NBC’s “Today” show.

“Andrew Jackson had a history of tremendous success for the country,” Trump added.

“I think Harriet Tubman is fantastic. I would love to leave Andrew Jackson and see if we can maybe come up with another denomination. Maybe we do a $2 bill,” Trump said Thursday.

“I don’t like seeing it. Yes, I think it’s pure political correctness,” he added.

“I would love to see another denomination … I think it would be more appropriate,” Trump said.

Now I must say that Donald Trump is not the originator of this idea, it was first said by another Republican and supporter of Donald Trump, Republican mastermind Ben Carson.

AP Report – Ted Cruz is Toast – Getting to 1237 is Impossible

Thanks to the excellence of “New York Values,” Ted Cruz, the Canadian born Republican Senator for Texas, has absolutely no mathematical way of getting the 1237 delegates necessary to win the Republican nomination. His only hope now is for the Republican establishment to hand him the prize at a contested convention.

Cruz was shut out from winning any delegates in Tuesday’s New York primary, while Trump won at least 89 of the 95 delegates at stake and Kasich won three, according to the AP.

Cruz acknowledged Wednesday that a contested convention is his only path to the GOP nomination.

“We are headed to a contested convention at this point. Nobody is getting 1,237,” Cruz said in an interview with Philadelphia radio host Chris Stigall. “Donald is going to talk all the time about other folks not getting 1,237. He’s not getting there either. Neither of us are getting the 1,237.”

Donald Trump on Clearing the Rubble on September 11th – “I helped a little bit” – Video

Are you shocked that billionaire, Donald Trump, went down to ground zero after the Twin Towers in New York came down on September 11th? Well, we all are. Campaigning in New York, Donald Trump decided to remind everyone that he “helped a little bit” in the rubble clean up at ground zero after the terrorist attacks on September 11th.

“Everyone who helped clear the rubble, and I was there, and I watched, and I helped a little bit, but I want to tell you, those people were amazing, clearing the rubble, trying to find additional lives, you didn’t know what was going to come down on all of us, and they handled it,” Trump said.

The GOP frontrunner made the remarks at the same Buffalo, New York rally when he inadvertently referred to 9/11 as “7-11.”

Washington Post‘s Philip Bump noted that contemporaneous reporting indicated Trump certainly visiting Ground Zero after the attacks. New York Newsday wrote that the businessman appeared on the site two days afterward with “every hair in place and impeccably dressed in a black suit, pressed white shirt and red tie, walking into the plaza with his cellular phone to his ear.” This was the same day he gave this interview with a German TV station, where he was supportive of the search-and-rescue effort and optimistic about re-building, but made no reference to having personally helped out.

Roland Martin to Trump – “You’re unfit for being president – Shut Up” – Video

Roland Martin has had enough of Donald Trump and all his complaining about the election process and how the Republican’s version of democracy works, In an interview on Sunday on ABC’s This Week, Martin interrupted another panelist to make the point that Donald Trump is “unfit for being president” and should “shut up” and “stop complaining” about what Trump calls, “a rigged system.”

George, forgive me if I don’t have any sympathy for a real estate developer from New York complaining about a process. This is somebody who talks about ‘Oh, I know how to get things done’. Okay. The task to see if you can get something done as a president, is can you navigate a primary process, running for president.

Guess what! If you become president, you’re gonna be dealing with the same things in other countries. You’re gonna be dealing with the same things when it comes to business. So if you can’t handle this process, you’re unfit for being president! So shut up, stop complaining, have an organization, because they’re not gonna hand it to you, you have to earn it!

Trump’s Lawyer – “No, I am not voting” for Trump – “I’m a registered Democrat”

Donald Trump was once a Democrat. He now claims to be a staunch conservative Republican and get this, many in the Republican party believe Trump – a man who will say anything and adopt any position if it means an extra vote. He reminds me of Ted Cruz!

Trump, the former Democrat apparently surrounded himself with other Democrats. His special council admitted earlier that he is a Democrat and would not be voting for Trump in the primaries.

“No, I am not voting in the primary; I’m a registered Democrat,” Michael Cohen said on CNN’s “At This Hour,” adding that his inability to vote for Trump was limited to “the primaries.”
But Cohen is just a small piece of the Democratic puzzle surrounding Donald Trump. Two of Trump’s children — Ivanka, 34, and Eric, 32 — acknowledged this week that they didn’t register as Republicans in time to vote in Tuesday’s closed primary in New York, despite months of campaigning for their father.

It’s April 2016: Do You Know Where Your Vote Is?

Now that we’ve got some room to breathe a bit until the New York primary hits with full force this week (that’s when the ads will start running), it’s worth looking at the present election season and asking, “Is this democracy?” I’m sure the rest of the world is following the elections and is wondering how the greatest democracy in the world can elect its political leader with such a long, messy, potentially divisive process.

As are many Americans.

The 2016 primaries will, I think, redefine the system we have for a few reasons. The first is the influence of social media. No longer can a candidate say one thing in Arizona, contradict themselves in Massachusetts and say a third idea in Florida and have nobody notice. We are too connected and communication is instantaneous.

The second reason is that many more people are taking part in the primaries, partially due to social media, but mostly due to the issues at stake and the bitter polarization between the parties.

Finally, Donald Trump, love him or not, has made this campaign into his own reality program and no news organization can resist him. But now that we have more voters participating, more citizens are questioning the process, and for good reason.

A look at the primary results so far suggests that both parties lack transparency, and the Republican Party is on course to actually thwart their own system in order to stop Donald Trump from becoming its nominee. On the Democratic side, although Hillary Clinton has a substantial delegate lead, the use of free-floating superdelegates is skewing her lead. These delegates are party elites who can essentially vote for whichever candidate they please, and most of them have pledged themselves to Hillary, although as in 2008, they can always switch their allegiance to Bernie Sanders should he upset her in New York and Pennsylvania. So even though thousands of Democrats have gone to the polls, they’re finding that their democratic will is not being honored.

On the Republican side, superdelegates are not really the problem, as they mostly have to vote as their state did during the primary. The real issue is that the candidate who wins a state primary’s popular vote does not necessarily get all, or even a representative portion of that state’s delegates. This has happened to Trump in Louisiana and Colorado, and threatens to derail his bid for a majority once the GOP Convention starts in July. This also affects Bernie, as Saturday’s Wyoming Caucuses show. He won the most votes, but he and Hillary will get the same number of delegates.

This is why many voters are feeling disenfranchised, despite their being able to cast a ballot. In effect, although the Supreme Court just ruled in favor of counting all voters in the latest “one person, one vote” case, we don’t seem to all have that vote. The Republican Party is risking more because they have come out in favor of doing all that they can to deny Trump the nomination, even if he comes close to having enough delegates. This would fracture the GOP and probably lead to Trump running as an independent, especially if Ted Cuz is the nominee despite not having anywhere near the required delegate majority after the primaries.

The Democrats won’t suffer the same fate, but it would help if Hillary won enough delegates independent of the superdelegate votes. That would at least convince Democrats that their votes had weight.

Nominating contests have traditionally not been expressions of democracy, but now much of the country is paying attention at this early stage. 2020 will look different.

Rapper Demands that “Scumbag” Trump Stop Using his Music – Calls Trump “a Piece of S–t”

Add Rapper Everlast from the rap group “House of Pain” to the long list of musicians who have demanded that Republican leader Donald Trump, stop using their music. And to get his point and frustrations across, Everlast used some rather colorful adjectives to describe the donald.

“Hey @realDonaldTrump stop using my song jump around at your rallies you piece of s–t. Cease and desist is coming you scumbag,” the rapper, whose real name is Erik Francis Schrody, tweeted Monday night.

“Stop playing my song you ignorant racist piece of s–t lawyers are already on it. I don’t want your money no amount you offer will get the license. I would love to meet you and smack that comb over right off your scalp you scumbag!!!” he added on Instagram.

“The reason he doesn’t ask anybody — a lot of people have asked him to cease and desist — (is) because every f–king person would say, ‘No, f–k you,’ except for whatever right-wing country artist wants to give him the song,” he said.

It’s unclear whether Trump’s campaign obtained a license to play the song, which has long been a favorite in movies, clubs and sporting events. A spokeswoman has yet to return the Daily News’ request for comment.

Donald Trump – I Have No Intentions to Move to the Center – Audio

Due to some of the things he has said, Donald Trump has been linked to sexism, racism and xenophobia. But in an interview with conservative radio talk-show host Michael Savage, Trump assured the host and all his supporters that moderating his message is not going to happen. He has no plans to change his sexist, racist and xenophobic ways.

“The reason you’re popular is because of borders, because of immigration, because of the flood of Muslims coming into the country,” Savage said. “I would almost say, Donald, please don’t let the moderate influences in your campaign take you off-point, it’s what got you where you are. Are you going to modify your campaign and move a little bit more to the center now?”

Trump assured him that he would not adjust his message, telling Savage that “the last thing I should be doing now is changing so I don’t think you have anything to worry about, okay?”

But then again, Donald Trump is called a classic liar by other politicians, both Democrats and Republicans. They say Trump will say whatever and do whatever to get elected. When politicians call you a liar, then that is really saying something.

John Oliver Slams Trump’s Foolish Claim on Nuclear Weapons – Video

The Republican joker running for president has fooled many gullible Republicans into supporting his candidacy. But now that the media is finally asking questions, the shocking depth of Donald Trump’s ignorance is beginning to show.

In an interview with the donald last week, Trump boldly announced to CNN’s  Anderson Cooper that any country seeking nuclear weapons should be allowed to amass nuclear weapons.

“At some point we have to say, you know what, we’re better off if Japan protects itself against this maniac in North Korea,” Trump told Cooper. “We’re better off, frankly, if South Korea is going to start to protect itself.”

Asked about Saudi Arabia getting nukes, Trump replied: “Saudi Arabia? Absolutely.”

“He says that with the confidence of a man who could easily find Saudi Arabia on a map if he was given three tries — and the map only included countries ending with ‘Arabia,’” a smirking Oliver said.

Trump also stated that nukes could be used in Europe because: “Europe is a big place.”

“It’s ‘a big place’ is not a good excuse for using nuclear weapons,” Oliver explained. “It’s barely a good excuse for peeing in the ocean.”

Joy Reid Factchecks Michael Steele’s False Comment About Abortions On Air – Video

Former RNC Chairman, Michael Steele went on MSNBC today and was interviewed by Joy Reid on the ridiculous comments Republican leader, Donald Trump made earlier in the week, where he said women seeking abortion services should be punished.

Asked to speak about Trump’s comment and the fact that others in the Republican party want women punished for seeking abortions, Michael Steele tried to sidestep the issue, falsely stating that no one in the Republican party is advocating punishing women.

“That has not been the policy of this country to prosecute women who had an abortion, either back in the 50’s or today,” Steele said. He then went on to call the issue a “red herring,” then reiterated his stance that no one in the Republican party is pushing laws to punish women.

But Reid already had multiple headlines cued up, showing that women were already being punished, even jailed for having an abortion.

The Reality Show Election Just Got Very Real

It is true that political discourse has taken a wildly unpredictable and extremely troubling turn in this country, but just when it seems that the shouting match will get louder, along comes a politician who is calm, focused, steely, intelligent, moral and principled. Who is this person?

The current occupant of the Oval Office. A man who has led this country through some of its most trying days. The president who will be remembered for bringing health care to millions and for signing a financial reform plan that is holding up well in the face of those opponents who would like to go back to the conditions that created the crisis in the first place. He has made stirring speeches, gave the order to kill Osama bin Laden, reminded us that race is still a central issue in the country, and weathered attacks by people who questioned not only his authority, but his legitimacy and fitness for the highest office in the land. And he did all of this without a major political scandal, running the government and hiring advisers who, for the most part, served their president well.

And for all of that, President Obama’s approval ratings have risen as the economy has improved, as evidenced by last week’s Labor Department report showing that wages are rising, more people are working and looking for work, and the economy is improving at a rate we haven’t seen in years.

But of course, much of this improvement is because the opposition is presenting voters with the choice between a Know-Nothing, Say Anything candidate in Donald Trump and his main competition, Ted Cruz, whose chief accomplishments seem to suggest that he wants to be president so he can shut the government down rather than have it serve the American people.

And this past week serves as a reminder that we had better be very careful about who we elect to the presidency. Trump’s mindless comments about criminalizing women who have abortions is only one-half step worse than Cruz’s position that abortions due to rape and incest be likewise criminalized. Both have said that American citizens who are Muslims should be watched more closely, and of course Trump wants to bar Muslim immigrants based solely on their religious beliefs. As for foreign policy, if you can call it that, Cruz wants to carpet bomb while Trump said last week that he wants our allies to pay far more for their own defense, even if it means the spread of nuclear weapons to South Korea and Japan. Never mind that an arms race with China is a real possibility and that the United States has an interest in shoring up those two countries against Chinese and unpredictable North Korean threats.

This last issue provoked the president into reminding the country that candidates like Trump can’t simply make up foreign policy on the fly. We have commitments in the world and whoever is president needs to take them seriously. And saying that many other countries, such as Pakistan, have nuclear weapons as a reason to allow more countries to have them is not responsible.

There is a reason why the Republican Party is trying desperately to stop Trump from earning enough delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot, even to go so far as to repeal a rule passed to stop Ron Paul and ensure the nomination of Mitt Romney just four short years ago. Even in the states that have already voted, such as Louisiana and Tennessee, there are efforts to deny Trump delegates or to convince formerly committed delegates to support another candidate, or no candidate at all. Yet. Now, don’t confuse this with GOP support for Ted Cruz. The party doesn’t want him either. What they want is an open convention where they can settle on a compromise candidate who can win, such as…um…I’ll get back to you on that.

All of this should serve to remind us that we have a president who is a positive role model, a committed family man, a serious thinker and an admirable representative of the United States. He’s had his challenges and burdens and did not really understand just how hard the Republicans would try to thwart him, but he’s learned and adjusted. In the end, we might not get Justice Garland, but we might trade that for the Senate in 2017. I’ll take that deal.

And I think a majority of the people in this country are waking up to the reality of what might happen if we make the wrong choice.
