Donald Trump has done it again. Another statement that is sure to prop up his support among the Republicans.
In an unbelievable statement, Donald Trump said, “Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”
Trump says in a statement released by his campaign Monday that his proposal comes in response to the level of hatred among “large segments of the Muslim population” toward Americans.
Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski says Trump’s proposed ban would apply to “everybody,” including Muslims seeking immigration visas as well as tourists seeking to enter the country.
ABC was able to get this photo of the couple who murdered 14 people in San Bernardino. In the photo, Syed Farook is seen bringing his fiance, Tashfeen Malik, through a Chicago airport in 2014.
The Donald Trump saga continues with yet another statement that Republicans will undoubtedly love – Donald Trump is promising that in his administration, not only will he go after known lawbreakers and terrorists, he will also go after the innocent, the wives and family members of the terrorists, because according to Trump, those wives and family members of known terrorists “know what’s happening.”
On CBS’ Face The Nation, Trump explained why targeting people simply because of who they know makes sense. “At least I would certainly go after the wives who absolutely knew it was happening, and I guess your definition of what I’d do, I’m going to leave that to your imagination.”
Trump also said that he didn’t believe the sister of the San Bernandino terrorist. In recent interviews the sister of Syed Farook, Saira Khan, condemned the terrorist attack her brother and his wife carried out in San Bernardino, and she said the rest of the family had no idea what they planned on doing. Trump however, doubted her statement because, she is family and obviously had to know something.
“I probably don’t believe the sister,” Trump said. “I would go after a lot of people and find out whether or not they knew. I’d be able to find out. Cause I don’t believe the sister.”
According to a new investigative report, 12 year old Tamir Rice did not have a gun or even a pellet gun in his hand when police pulled up and gunned him down at a recreation center in November 2014.
And the various reports that said Rice was killed 2 to 3 seconds after police arrived on the scene are wrong. According to this new report, the 12 year old boy was killed one second after the police car stopped a few feet away from him.
Tamir Rice did not have enough time to remove his hands from his pockets before being shot, and his hands weren’t visible to the officer, according to the analysis released late Friday night by attorneys for Tamir’s family.
The new report and two others from experts already used by the family are the latest analysis of evidence to be released as a grand jury considerswhether to bring charges against the officers in Tamir’s death. The boy was shot after authorities received a report of a man pointing and waving a gun outside a recreation center in November 2014.
Previous reports concluded that officer Timothy Loehmann shot Tamir within 2 seconds of opening his car door. The new analysis determined it happened even faster, within less than a second, according to the review by California-based shooting reconstruction expert Jesse Wobrock.
Donald Trump was recently awarded more love and respect in the Republican party when he made fun of a disabled reporter last month. This love and respect manifested itself in HUGE poll numbers for the Republicans’ beloved, as he now leads his closest Republican contender for the GOP nomination by 20 points.
Well now, the tables have turned and Donald Trump is getting a piece of his own medicine from disabled Americans.
“Not only did I write a book entitled Crippled America,” one man in the video said in his best Donald Trump imitation and referring to Trump’s new book, “but I also make fun of crippled Americans. And I’ll sign either one.”
And if I were to bet, I’m sure these disabled Americans will not get the same love and respect from the Republican party.
It’s as if he couldn’t wait to get back to business as usual, and the terrorist attack in San Bernardino was taking him off his game. So right after the shooting, Ted Cruz made sure to remind his faithful followers to come out to his gun supporting event and to show their love for guns!
“Fourteen people just lost their lives in a shooting, and Ted Cruz’s first thought is, ‘Oh, that reminds me, gotta send out my invites to my gun party,’” Trevor Noah said on “The Daily Show”. “Yeah, that seems like something you’d only do if you were an asshole.”
Later on in his piece after a continued barrage of slams on Cruz, Noah said this; “You know what, Ted Cruz reminds me of Pepe Le Pou, the skunk! Because you know, when he thinks he’s being charming, he’s just being even more creepy!”
That was followed by a video clip of Ted Cruz talking about how happy he was that he didn’t have “17 daughters,” and how easy it was for him to get “rubbers” for sex.
Noah summerized that maybe Ted Curz is the perfect leader for America, because he has shown both Democrats and Republicans that they do have at least one thing in common – their hate for Ted Cruz!
Little Emma Nowling just wanted to play soccer. But after practice on Thursday, her short life came to a tragic end, shot and killed by a family friend, a man who legally bought a gun in September and had a concealed carry license.
Emma Nowling and her mother, Sharon Watson, were shot after the little girl’s soccer practice session at the Taylor Sportsplex in Michigan. Watson is listed in serious but stable condition, while Nowling died Thursday night after suffering head injuries,MLive.com reports. Authorities describe the suspect, Timothy Nelson Obeshaw, as a family friend who had a concealed carry permit and a legally-purchased gun.
Police say a 9 mm pistol recovered from the shooting scene was registered to Obeshaw.
The man had recently been experiencing paranoia, thought someone was out to get him and believed someone was trying to control him through mind control, Taylor police Chief Mary Sclabassi told MLive.
“He thought someone was out to get him,” the chief told reporters at a Friday press conference. “Unfortunately, it appears as a result of his (instability) we now have a little girl who simply just wanted to go yesterday to play soccer, and never went home.”
Police said the girl’s mother is being treated and was informed her daughter has died.
Obeshaw had attended Nowling’s practice sessions in the past and on Thursday had a pleasant interaction with the child and her mother, but after the practice, had a confrontation at about 8 p.m. Witnesses saw him shoot into the vehicle then turn the gun on himself.
Obeshaw had no known criminal history. He had registered the gun under his own name in September.
“Of course, this is a tragic situation and the thought that maybe if the right person had the right information at the right time could have prevented this, of course it’s very frustrating,” Sclabassi said. “Clearly this was an individual who needed help. Clearly this is an individual who should not have been able to purchase a handgun just this past September.”
This incident happened in 2014, but the fate of the police officer in the video below was just determined by the court. The Prince George’s County Police officer, Jenchesky Santiago, was found guilty of 1st and 2nd-degree assault, use of a firearm in violence, and misconduct in office. He will spend at least 5 years in prison.
Back on May 10th 2014, William Cunningham and Kenneth Smith were sitting in their car in front of their home doing absolutely nothing wrong when the officer pulled up, informing them that they were illegally parked. But according to the prosecutor in the case, the car was legally parked as there were no signs, no markings on the curb, no hydrants to suggest an illegal parking situation.
Officer Santiago, it was also revealed, had two unauthorized riders in his cruiser and apparently wanted to show off.
“You guys wanted my attention. You got my attention now.” the officer said.
Having not been legally detained, Cunningham simply tried to walk into his house when all hell broke loose.
Santiago, responding to an innocent man walking into his own home, pulled his gun and pointed it at Cunningham, demanding that he “get back in the car!”
Frightened that he had a madman pressing a gun against his temple ‘so hard that it moved his head,’ Cunningham slowly made his way back to the vehicle. This slow walk was seen as a threat to the tyrant Santiago, which made him even more enraged and more apt to preen for his sadistic audience.
He then pressed the gun directly at the center of Cunningham’s face and mouth, “Go ahead. I dare you to f**king fight me, son.” All of this was captured on video.
After the video was turned off, Cunningham testified in court that Santiago later told them, “Y’all gonna learn about officer Santiago today. I just got back from Iraq. I’m not scared of you all.” He testified that Santiago also said, “You need to watch your attitude because us P.G. cops, we shoot people.”
Cunningham and Smith were then illegally searched without consent. Since Santiago found nothing to charge them with, he made up two counts of disorderly conduct, which would later be thrown out after the video surfaced.
“The actions Officer Santiago chose to take that day are his alone. His behavior is flagrant, appalling and isolated. His actions are among the worst I’ve seen as Chief of Police and that will be taken into account when I make a decision about his employment,” PGPD Chief Mark Magaw said.
“The moment officer Santiago made the decision to act in a reckless, illegal way, he ceased being a police officer,” Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks said. “There is no place for that type of behavior in our county or on our police force. Every citizen should be able to walk across their front yard to their door without fear of being assaulted, especially by a police officer.”
This is Tashfeen Malik, a Pakistani woman who traveled to Saudi Arabia to meet the man who will later become her husband and partner in crime, Syed Rizwan Farook. Farook, born in America but also of Pakistani descent, brought Malik to the United States on a K1 visa and married her. Days ago, the husband and wife suited up and went to a facility in San Bernardino that specialized in catering to the disabled and murdered 14 people at a Christmas party. Another 21 people were injured.
Tashfeen Malik and Syed Rizwan Farook were both shot and killed hours later by police. The FBI has since classified the massacre in San Bernardino as a terrorist attack, claiming that evidence suggests one or maybe both shooters were “radicalized” by external forces.
Donald Trump’s bigotry and fascist tendencies are reaping huge benefits for the Republican, as other apparent like-minded folks in the Republican party flock together to bolster Trump’s numbers.
A new CNN poll finds 36% of registered Republicans and Republican-leaning independents behind Trump, while his nearest competitor trails by 20 points.
Three candidates cluster behind Trump in the mid-teens, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 16%, former neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 14% and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 12%. All other candidates have the support of less than 5% of GOP voters in the race for the Republican Party’s nomination for president.
Carson (down 8 points since October), former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (down 5 points to 3%) and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (down 4 points to 1%) have lost the most ground since the last CNN/ORC poll, conducted in mid-October.
Cruz (up 12 points) and Trump (up 9 points) are the greatest beneficiaries of those declines. Rubio is also up slightly, gaining 4 points — an increase within the poll’s margin of sampling error — since the last CNN/ORC poll.
As if this wasn’t tried before, Senate Republicans on Thursday wasted even more tax-payers’ time and money with yet another meaningless vote on a pointless legislation to defund Obamacare.
Not to be outdone, Democrats seized the debate to try to force votes on gun control legislation that could put some Republicans in a politically tough position as the country is reeling from arecent spate of mass shootings.
By voting to nullify Obamacare — the signature domestic accomplishment of the Obama administration — GOP congressional leaders fulfilled a longtime pledge to voters and rank-and-file members to get a repeal to President Barack Obama’s desk, even though he will veto it.
The bill would also cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood, the women’s health group that provides abortions and has long under GOP scrutiny. Republicans’ passions to cutoff taxpayer dollars to the organization increased in recent months when videos were released that purported to show Planned Parenthood executives selling the tissue of aborted fetuses to researchers
.
While Americans are being massacred by shootings on a daily basis, these jokers in Congress cannot figure out a way to do their job and protect the homeland from ruthless thugs and their easy access to guns.
Instead of bucking the NRA and coming up with a simple background check legislation to make sure people who buy guns are not registered terrorists – an idea supported by a huge majority of Americans – Republicans bring us another attempt to repeal Obamacare, an effort that has been tried and failed well over 60 times.
San Francisco police responded to a report of a stabbing and met this man on the sidewalk with a knife. The man, a 26-year-old named Mario Woods, is seen on the video surrounded by six police officers, still holding a knife in his hand. Police say the man refused to obey commands to drop the knife and was shot after he began walking in the direction of one of the officers.
Police say Woods is responsible for the stabbing of another man in the shoulder. That incident, according to police, happened about an hour before the encountered Woods.
