Jon Stewart on Donald Trump – He is a “batsh*t billionaire” – Video

Donald Trump is running for president. Have you heard? He made a “speech” about it yesterday. It’s the kind of speech that would make Sarah Palin proud. This “speech” has been described by Jon Stewart as “the most beautifully ridiculous jibber-jabber ever to pour from the mouth of a batshit billionaire.”

Stewart goes on…

“America’s id is running for president! This speech was so fucked up that in the middle of it, all the liquid in his body tried to escape from the corner of his mouth.”

Watch.

Report: Sen Bernie Sanders Will Announce His White House Bid This Week

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. (Lauren Victoria Burke/WDCPIX.COM)

Politico is reporting that Bernie Sanders will announce a presidential bid on Thursday, a source close to the second-term senator confirmed.

The Vermont independent, a self-described democratic socialist, will run as a Democrat in a field that includes frontrunner Hillary Clinton. The launch will likely be a low-key announcement — no big rally or high-budget video. The senator is expected to have a larger campaign kickoff in a few weeks, most likely in Vermont, before heading to early presidential nominating states such as Iowa and New Hampshire.

Sanders, 73, has been openly considering a presidential bid for months, and in recent days has begun to focus his attention on staffing. Tad Devine, an informal adviser and longtime friend to the senator, has said that a Sanders campaign would focus heavily on three major issues — campaign finance reform, climate change and income inequality.

Gohmert’s Office – Louie is Not Running For President Because of He is “Bald”

Last week, Republican Brain Louie Gohmert stunned the rest of the Republican party and caused much amusement among liberals when he hinted that he is interested in running for president in 2016. Speaking to The Hill, Gohmert was asked about his feelings on Ted Cruz and whether he will support Cruz’s run for President.

“Ted is a good friend and would be an outstanding president,” Gohmert said. Then he chimed in this little piece of nugget.”However, I haven’t ruled out an exploratory committee myself!”

Realizing that the Brain had once again stuffed his mouth with his right foot, Gohmert’s office quickly released this statement via email, informing the world that Gohmert was only joking about a possible run for president, and even if he wasn’t joking, the statement concludes that Gohmert’s baldness prevented him from running.

The Statement:

“Washington D.C. contains too many who do not recognize statements made with a figurative tongue in cheek, sometimes known as being ironic,” said an email from Gohmert’s office.

“To more completely describe his actual beliefs, Congressman Gohmert notes the Kennedy-Nixon debates created a line of demarcation beyond which television became the critical factor in being elected President which also meant there would be no more bald Presidents in his lifetime.”

Too bad. I was looking forward to a President Gomer in the White House!

So, What is Jon Stewart Saying about Ted Cruz’s Announcement for President? – Video

Like you may have heard, Ted Cruz formally announced his intentions to run for president in 2016. I’ll wait for the laughter to stop.

Waiting.

Waiting.

Ok, I can’t wait anymore. We don’t have all day you know.

Moments after Cruz made his announcement in front of a reported 10,000 students at the Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University, another report stated that these students had to attend the event to avoid being fined. But with such a demand for mandatory attendance, some in the audience could have been angry and could have missed Cruz’s speech. They were there physically, but mentally…?

Well we are here to help. So let’s take it to Jon Stewart for his two-cents on this two-cents Republican candidate.

Canadian Born Ted Cruz to Announce a Run for President Of The United States

I keep saying ‘Canadian born Ted Cruz’ because that is just a fact, although some would argue that fact does not disqualify Cruz from running for President. I am just flabbergasted that there are still some who, without any proof whatsoever, disqualifies Barack Obama from being president because they assume he was born outside the United States. But these same people however, will vote for the Canadian born Cruz in 2016.

But I digress

Senator Ted Cruz is expected to announce his run for the Republican nomination for president on Monday. The Teaparty loved Republican has made waves among fellow Republicans and Democrats alike, and even orchestrated the last Republican government shutdown in 2013, the exact quality Republicans are looking for in their next president – a president who can shut down the government.

In addition to shutting down the government, Cruz is also one of the biggest oppositions to President Obama and has opposed everything Obama has done since he became president. Cruz’s opposition to Obama’s healthcare reform for example, is legendary. And he has vowed to do everything possible to take away this healthcare from the 16 million Americans currently enjoying it.

Yes, a president capable of shutting down the government and taking away healthcare from millions of Americans? That is the Republicans’ dream!

Meghan McCain to Mitt Romney – Save Your Family, Don’t Run in 2016

But will The Mittens listen? I doubt it. Chances are the American people will have yet another chance to tell Romney NO… Again… for the third time!

In a column on the Washington Post, McCain apple about the hurt and pain she suffered as her dad ran and lost in previous presidential contests.

Those of us who’ve been through it multiple times, who’ve watched our parents be rejected by the American public more than once? We make up a weird, lonely island of political misfit toys. I’m on it. So are the Romneys. And when I think about what they might go through again, if their father runs a third time, I shudder.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Mitt Romney. I like his wife and children. But take it from someone who knows – being the direct spawn of a presidential nominee is arduous and excruciatingly public. It’s an experience that will always hold a very special place in my heart, but I wouldn’t put myself or my family through it again for anything in the world. And it’s inconceivable to me that anyone else would either – especially after losing as your party’s most recent nominee.

Teaparty’s Black Man Ben Carson Spending Big Bucks to be President

I’m not calling Ben Carson a token, but I was yotally unaware that black people were in the Tea Party.

Call me shocked.

Buzzfeed reoorts that the National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee is spending as much as it’s taking in: $10,757,609, to be exact, according to Federal Election Commission data. The money is mostly being spent on fundraising efforts and for a digital campaign that the group’s campaign director told BuzzFeed News is modeled on the vaunted Obama operation. It’s also providing a salary for Vernon Robinson, the campaign director, who has made nearly $236,000 from his work so far for the PAC, according to FEC filings.

It’s not unusual for people running a campaign of some kind to make money. But the committee only categorizes a small percentage of its disbursements as salary payments. The payments in this case haven’t been listed as going directly to Robinson, and have been classified as fundraising expenses. The recipient is listed as “Tzu Mahan” — in some cases, “Mahan, Tzu.”

Tzu Mahan is Vernon Robinson’s consulting and strategy firm. It has one full-time employee: Vernon Robinson. The firm also has “various subcontractors,” he said in an interview on Wednesday.

Asked why he didn’t just list his own name on the FEC documents as a payroll expense, Robinson said, “When Dr. Carson wins the presidency, we want everybody to know that Tzu Mahan is running the strategy.”

“People get paid to do politics,” Robinson said.

Ted Cruz’s People say, The Canada Born Politician is Running for President

Ted Cruz was born in Canada. Ted Cruz was born in Canada. And for those who need to hear things 3 times to understand… Ted Cruz was born in Canada.

But I digress.

According to sources close to the Texas senator, Cruz could be preparing for an end-of-year announcement and is now dedicating considerable time and effort to cultivating a foreign-policy foundation that might help his candidacy stand out in what is guaranteed to be a crowded field.

“At this point it’s 90/10 he’s in,” one Cruz adviser said. “And honestly, 90 is lowballing it.”

The senator’s choreography since arriving in Washington has long pointed to a presidential run. His office meticulously documents the details of his meetings and events to guard against opposition research. He has aggressively pursued visits to important primary states, including Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Late last month Cruz hired three prominent consultants with experience in national campaigns and extensive contacts in early nominating states. And he recently moved his chief of staff, Chip Roy, from his congressional office to the campaign operation, sending the clearest signal yet to allies inside and outside the Capitol that a bid for the White House is imminent.

Michele Bachmann Hints She May Run for President in 2016

Lol… as if the present stock of Republican candidates aren’t looney enough, looney tunes herself is hinting that she may run again in 2016.

In an interview with RealClearPolitics, Michele Bachman said that all the media does is speculate that only Republican men are running for president.

“The only thing that the media has speculated on is that it’s going to be various men that are running. They haven’t speculated, for instance, that I’m going to run. What if I decide to run? And there’s a chance I could run.”

Well, end the speculations Bachmann, make the announcement. There is always room for one more in the Republican clown car.

Up next, Mitt Romney and Herman Cain!

Jason Chaffetz Believes That Two-Time Loser Mitt Romney, Is Running For President

Chris Matthews of MSNBC actually made some news Monday night. He did not beat up on the president. And that in itself is amazing providing that of lately, the Hardball host has been on a personal vendetta it seems, to help bolster the Republican’s talking points.

Oh, and Matthews made another set of news. In an interview with Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz and Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings, Matthews asked Chaffetz his opinion on whether two-time loser Mitt Romney is running for president a third time. Chaffetz answered with no doubt in his mind that Mitt Romney is in deed, running!

Chaffetz even went as far as predicting that in 2016, the Flipper will be the next president of the United States.
