Slate on Alan Colmes – “Colmes Was a Buffoon and Patsey… Original Liberal Weakling”

Alan Colmes died a few days ago but moments after his death, Slate’s contributor, Isaac Chotiner, said that because Colmes was “a nice guy and a liberal” who worked on Fox News, he was a “Buffoon” used by the conservative network.

“Alan Colmes, Buffoon and Patsy, Was Fox News’ Original Liberal Weakling,” wrote Slate’s Isaac Chotiner [Editor’s note: Nope, not going to link to it]. Chotiner doesn’t take exception to Colmes’ politics, but complained that he was not good enough at advocating for liberal positions.

“Colmes was the most absurd, useless, and mocked television personality in America for many years, precisely because he was nice. In the context of Fox News, being a nice guy — and a “liberal” nice guy at that — meant being a buffoon, and a patsy. Colmes not only played the part to perfection — he defined it,” Chotiner wrote.

Chotiner’s biggest beef was with Colmes’ role on Hannity and Colmes. “Yes, the two men appeared to have equal time during each segment, and yes, there was often a liberal guest and a conservative one…” he admits. “But the show, by design, was conservative, and often in racist or homophobic or Islamophobic ways.”

“While Colmes may not have been a genius, he wasn’t a complete moron either; in short, he was smart enough to know he was being used, and to take the money that his services demanded. If this is something less than morally reprehensible, it is still pretty gross,” he writes.

Bill O’Reilly Calls Trump a “Buffoon” – Fails to Convince Trump to do Debate – Video

Roger Ailes failed again when he sent out his top dog to bully Donald Trump into doing the Fox Debate on Thursday. In an interview on Wednesday, O’Reilly did all he could, even trying to bribe Trump with “milkshakes”, to get the Republican presidential candidate to do the Thursday night debate.

Trump, who has been in a no holds barred war with Megyn Kelly since Kelly asked a valid question in a Republican debate back in 2015, has been adamant in his decision to boycott another Kelly moderated debate on Thursday. In the interview, Bill O’ Reilly tried and tried, and failed consistently, even bringing up Trump’s “Christian” faith, to convince him to “forgive” Kelly and “turn the other cheek.”

Trump wouldn’t give. So an exasperated Bill O’ Reilly called Trump a “Buffoon,” although he didn’t come straight out and say, you’re a buffoon. Bill O’ pulled the same trick played by many others in the political media, saying there are some who say Trump is a buffoon. You know, put it out there and hope the words have their intended effect.

Watch the craziness below.

British Parliament – “Donald Trump is a Buffoon!” – Video

After an online petition to ban Donald Trump from entering Britain reached over 500,000 signatures – well over the 100,000 mark required for the British Parliament to discuss the measure – the Parliament did just that on Monday. And one after the next, parliament members stood up and expressed their feelings towards Donald Trump – the Republican’s clear choice for President of the greatest nation on earth.

Based on the way things went in the debate, it is fair to say that Donald Trump is not a fan in Britain. According to the prevailing opinion on the floor of the parliament, one can safely say parliament members think “Donald Trump is a buffoon!”

Here’s The UK’s Parliamentary Roast Of Donald TrumpWatch as members of the UK’s House of Commons zing Donald J. Trump, one after another, as they debate whether he should be banned from the country.
