Paul Ryan – Voter Fraud “Doesn’t matter to me” Because Trump Won

If Trump had lost the election like all the polls said he would, Paul Ryan and the Republicans would still be marching in the streets calling for recounts due to voter-fraud. But thanks to Russia’s influence in our election, Trump won, and according to Paul Ryan, no one should care about voter fraud and their needs to be no call for recount.

Scott Pelley on CBS’ 60 Minutes interviewed House Speaker Paul Ryan and asked about Trump’s claim that because of millions of illegal votes for Hillary Clinton, he did not win the popular vote. Pelley wanted to know Paul’s thoughts about Trump’s unsubstantiated claim.

Rand Paul couldn’t care less.

“It doesn’t matter to me. He won the election,” Ryan said. He went on to state that if Trump lives up to his promises and fix the issues he said he would, people will no longer care about what he might have tweeted in the past.

Trump Suggests Paul Ryan is Part of a “Sinister Deal”

Donald Trump is like the visitor who comes to your house one night for dinner and end up staying for a year-and-a-half. You give endless clues and hints that he was no longer welcome, but every morning you wake up he’s still there, eating up all the chitlins, and writing his name on the box of orange juice inside the refrigerator.

And there is no gratitude, no “thank you” for putting up with me and my bull  all this time. As soon as you insist that it was time for him to leave, your visitor cusses you out and talks bad about you to anyone who listens.

In the beginning of this campaign season, Paul Ryan reluctantly accepted the fact that Donald Trump had invaded the GOP. It took a while, but Ryan eventually learned how to live with the crazy man who occupied the GOP’s guest room. Ryan was even willing to  be seen in public with Trump.

But when Ryan learned of some of the things Mr. Crazy said in the past, more specifically things he said in 2005 about condoning sexual assault on women, Ryan decided enough was enough and it was definitely time to cut his affiliation with Trump. Paul Ryan, Republican Speaker of The House of Representatives, even went as far as issuing a statement saying that he will no longer campaign for or have anything to do with Trump’s presidential campaign.

And apparently that also meant that Ryan did not call to congratulate Trump after Sunday’s presidential debate. Needless to say that pissed Trump off bigley. He took off the gloves and went on the attack against the man who once handed him the keys to the Republican party.

Trump at a Florida rally on Wednesday questioned why Ryan, who effectively conceded Trump’s White House chances during a call with lawmakers this week, wouldn’t come out and congratulate him after Sunday’s presidential debate.

“Wouldn’t you think Paul Ryan would call and say, ‘good going’?” Trump asked in Ocala.
“You’d think they’d say, ‘Great going, Don. Let’s go, let’s beat this crook. Let’s beat her. We’ve got to stop her.’ No, he doesn’t do that. There’s a whole deal going on. We’re going to figure it out. I always figure things out. There’s a whole sinister deal.”

Paul Ryan Will Not Help Trump Anymore – Trump Throws a Twitter Fit

The little boy in Donald Trump raised his ugly head again. This time, to pick a fight with Republican House Speaker, Paul Ryan.

Since the audio/video of Trump’s 2005 womanizing ways came to light on Friday, Ryan publicly disavowed Donald Trump saying he was “sickened” by Trump’s statements about groping and forcing himself on women. Ryan and Trump were scheduled to hold a joint event on Saturday, but Ryan disinvited Trump after the recording went public.

On Monday, Ryan took it a step further, telling House members that his goal is no longer to get Trump elected, but to spend more time trying helping other Republicans running for reelection down ballot. Trump of course, failed to understand his own role in forcing Ryan to take such a position. He took to the twitter machine to lash out at the House Speaker.

Asked to respond to Trump’s tweet tantrum, Ryan’s spokeswoman said, “The speaker is going to spend the next month focused entirely on protecting our congressional majorities in order to advance our ‘Better Way’ agenda.”

Paul Ryan – “l Would Sue” Donald Trump If I Have To

The most powerful Republican in Congress has drawn a line in the sand against the leader of the Republican party – if Donald Trump tries to carry out any of his more insane policies, Paul Ryan has said he “would sue!”

Ryan said he wasn’t sure of the “legal question” of whether Trump could institute a Muslim ban on his own as president.

“That’s a legal question that there’s a good debate about,” he said, citing the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act.

“On the broader question, are we going to exert our Article I powers and reclaim this Article I power no matter who the president is? Absolutely,” Ryan said. He also said he discussed the limits of the executive power with Trump.

Paul Ryan – A Trump Win is Unlikely if All These Conditions Are Not Met – Audio

The Republican Speaker of the House was interviewed by Politico’s Glenn Thrush, and gave a rather conditions-filled answer to a simple question.

“Do you think he can really win?”

“Yeah, sure, of course I do,” Ryan responded. “I’m not gonna — I’m not a betting man,” Ryan added when pressed if he would bet his own money on a Trump victory.

“I think if we get our party unified, and if we do the work we need to do to get ourselves at full strength, and if we offer the country a clear and compelling agenda that is inspiring, that is inclusive, that fixes problems, that is solutions-based and based on good principles, then, yes, I think we can win.”

The Speaker, who earlier this month met with Trump after saying he wasn’t yet ready to endorse the presumptive Republican nominee, indicated he will continue calling out the businessman, telling Politico, “I’ve done that in the past, and I will do that in future if need be, and I hope it’s not necessary.”

Paul Ryan Slams Donald Trump on Super Tuesday

It’s all for show. Someone had to stand up and pretend to tell the rest of America that Republicans are not as crazy as they seem, and Paul Ryan was the chosen one.

After Donald Trump basically embraced former KKK leader David Duke with his initial refusal to reject Duke and the KKK, Paul Ryan was tapped to try and convince Americans that Trump was wrong.

“If a person wants to be a nominee of the Republican Party there can be no evasion and no games,” said Ryan in one of the party leadership’s most pointed attacks on Trump.

“They must reject any group or cause that is built on bigotry … This is the party of Lincoln. If someone wants to be our nominee, they must understand this.”

Ryan’s rebuke of Trump came as voters in 11 states headed to the polls on Super Tuesday. Prognosticators believe Trump will win the majority of delegates up for grabs on the busiest day of the battle for the nominations in both parties.

Paul Ryan Admits – Republicans Have No Alternative Plan for Obamacare – Video

Like his predecessor before him, Paul Ryan promised a new tone in Washington when he took over the gavel from then Speaker John Boehner. And one of the places Republicans promised to be different was on Obamacare, promising to have an alternative plan available for the millions of Americans benefiting from Obamacare, before trying to repeal their healthcare.

Well, if you missed it, Republicans tried to repeal Obamacare again, and again, there was no plan in the unlikely event their repeal efforts were to succeed. Obviously, their repeal effort didn’t succeed, as President Obama vetoed the measure. But House Speaker Paul Ryan was asked about the plan on Sunday’s Face The Nation, and was forced to admit that there is no plan for healthcare if Obamacare is repealed.

“You said that you wanted the Republicans to offer an alternative to the president,” CBS host John Dickerson reminded Ryan in an interview that aired on Sunday. “One of the first things you did this year, though, was offer that [Obamacare] repeal.”

“How is than an alternative?” Dickerson wondered.

“It’s not,” Ryan replied, laughing. “It’s why we have to come up with an alternative. So, you’re right about that one.”

“Will you?” Dickerson pressed.

“Absolutely,” Ryan insisted. “My goal — I don’t know how far it will go given we have a filibuster and a guy named Obama who’s not going to replace Obamacare — but my goal is that, we as Republicans, if we don’t like these laws, don’t like the direction the country is going, I think we have to be more than just an opposition party.”

Paul Ryan Answers Simple Question with Pointless GOP Talking Points – Video

In his interview on Meet the Press today, Paul Ryan, the new Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives, was asked a very direct question – name one thing you can accomplish over the next 6 months that Americans will be proud of.

Instead of giving what should have been a very simple answer, Paul Ryan spat out the usual Republican talking points, criticizing everything from President Obama to Obamacare to the economy to foreign policy.

“Working families are falling behind,” Ryan said. “The economy is stale… our foreign policy is a disaster.”

What can you do in the next 6 months Ryan, answer the question! If you had any ideas besides maintaining your party’s reputation of saying “NO” to everything, then maybe you’ll tell us about those ideas. Instead, we get blah blah blah blah Obamacare blah blah blah!

Paul Ryan – It’s an “Entitlement” for Other Americans to Spend Time With Their Family – Video

Paul Ryan laid down his demands before accepting the position of Republican House Speaker. One of those demands was to allow him more time with his family. That family time it seems, is paramount to Paul Ryan. But given the same opportunity to allow other Americans to have more time with their family, Paul Ryan and Republicans voted down that bill.

In an interview on Fox News today, Ryan, the new House Speaker – he accepted the job because his demands were met – was asked to explain that apparent hypocrisy, and in his explanation Ryan said that Americans spending more time with their family can only be done if another “federal entitlement” is created, and that was something he was not going to do.

“I don’t think people asked me to be Speaker to so that I can take more money from hardworking taxpayers to create some new federal entitlement. But I think people want to have members of Congress who represent them, that are like them.”

“Don’t you want your member of Congress to be a citizen legislator who lives with you among you, who has your own kinds of concerns, who wants to spend time with his children on Saturdays and Sundays?” I’m going to keep living in Janesville, Wisconsin where I’m from, where I raise my family. I’m going to keep going back and forth to D.C.”

It’s apparently good for Paul Ryan, but making sure that the average American has that same privilege? Paul Ryan and his Republican buddies call that an entitlement.

Paul Ryan Demands “Family Time” – Voted Against Family Leave Bill

In the never ending saga that is the hypocrisy in the Republican Party, we bring you this little nugget from Paul Ryan.

One of the demands Paul Ryan made to the members of the Republican party last week, was that he get regular time off to spend with his family. According to Paul Ryan family time is very important and he wants to be around to see his kids grow up.

That’s a very fair and admirable statement.

But why wasn’t that same consideration given to other employees when the Paid Family Leave Bill hit the House floor for a vote? According to the results of the vote, Paul Ryan was one of the many Republicans who voted against the paid family leave bill.

To quote a report from the Jazebel on this topic, “perhaps if Paul Ryan hadn’t spent much of his political career fighting laws that promote realistic work-life balance for parents of all socioeconomic levels, asking for family time would make him look more like a hero and less like a hypocrite.”

Paul Ryan Lays Out his Demands Before Accepting House Speaker Position – Video

All indications now point to Paul Ryan accepting the Republican hated job of Speaker of the House of Representatives. Earlier on Tuesday, Ryan held a meeting with the other Republican members of the House and laid out his demands – things he say must happen before he accepts the job.

The Demands

Ryan will run only if he’s supported by three groups inside the House Republican conference: the House Freedom Caucus, the Republican Study Committee and the moderate Tuesday Group, his spokesman, Brendan Buck, said.

Ryan also had a few more demands: He wants changes to House rules made as a team — a major demand of the House Freedom Caucus; he wants to make it harder to overthrow a sitting speaker; and he wants a better work-life balance than out-going House Speaker John Boehner had.

He also emphasized the importance of unified support for the next speaker.

Ryan told his colleagues he is willing to take “arrows in the chest but not in the back,” a GOP source inside the meeting told CNN.

Should the conference agree to his stipulations, “I am happy and willing to get to work.”

Paul Ryan’s CPAC Speech Based on Fictional Events

It’s about a sad little boy who didn’t want a school lunch. He wanted his lunch in a brown paper bag just like all the other boys and girls who got that brown paper bag of love from their parents.

“The left is making a big mistake here. What they’re offering people is a full stomach and an empty soul. The American people want more than that. This reminds me of a story I heard from Eloise Anderson. She serves in the cabinet of my buddy, Governor Scott Walker. She once met a young boy from a very poor family, and every day at school, he would get a free lunch from a government program. He told Eloise he didn’t want a free lunch. He wanted his own lunch, one in a brown-paper bag just like the other kids. He wanted one, he said, because he knew a kid with a brown-paper bag had someone who cared for him. This is what the left does not understand.”

The problem? This never happened. Its from a 2011 book called The Invisible Thread. So, Ryan gets four Pinocchios.

In this case, apparently, the story was too good to check. We appreciate [Ryan] is regretful now. But a simple inquiry would have determined that the person telling the story actually is an advocate for the federal programs that Ryan now claims leaves people with “a full stomach and an empty soul.” So he also earns Four Pinocchios.
