Pastor Says Watching ‘Harry Potter’ Turns Kids Into Homosexuals – Video

This is the United States of America, where everyone is entitled to their own opinion no matter what that opinion is. But sometimes, those opinions are so outlandish, so far-fetched, that they are worth mentioning if only for the purpose of ridicule.

Take Pastor Kevin Swanson for example. Like his title suggests, Swanson is a preacher but some of his messages deserve more than just a write-off as another person with a dumb, baseless opinion. Like when he preached that watching Harry Potter and How to Train Your Dragon turn kids into homosexuals. I mean really? Is that truly a fact? And if not, then isn’t it a lie being preached from the pulpit?

During his National Religious Liberties Conference in Des Moines, Iowa, Swanson said;

Repent America! Repent! America, repent of your rebellion against God! America, repent of stumbling the little ones! America, repent of “Harry Potter!” America, repent of “How to Train Your Dragon!”

America, repent that Dumbledore emerged as a homosexual mentor for “Harry Potter,” that Hiccup’s mentor in “How to Train Your Dragon” emerged as a homosexual himself in order that history might repeat itself one more time, in order that little six- and seven- and eight-year-olds might stumble, in order that tens of millions of parents.

It would be better for them that a millstone be hanged around their neck and they be drowned at the bottom of the sea in order that there would be so many people stumbling so many children in public schools, in movie theaters, in homes in which children are raised to be stumbled by the Dumbledores and by the mentors of Hiccup in “How to Train Your Dragon!”

Donald Trump’s Sexism On Full Display at GOP Debate – Video

“Why does she keeps interrupting everybody?” said Trump, as Carly tried to interject while Rand Paul made a statement about Russia and the ease at which misguided policies like implementing a ‘no fly zone’ over Syria could start a war with Putin. Hearing Trump’s question made some members of the Republican audience applauded, then realizing the nature of Trump’s comment, they began booing… ever so slightly.

Rand Paul Smacks Down Donald Trump’s Nonsense about TPP – Video

Now, a lot of people don’t like the new trade deal by the Obama administration and 11 other countries, and like Donald Trump ignorantly showed in tonight’s debate, a lot of people don’t like the deal although they have no clue about what the deal entails.

In tonight’s debate, Donald Trump was answering a question about TPP, and he went on a rampage talking about China and how they are using the deal to “manipulate their currency” and how much he hates the deal because “it is a deal designed to allow China to come in, as they always do, through the back door.” After spitting his nonsense for well over the allotted time, Rand Paul casually chimed in with, “we might want to point out that China is not part of the deal.”

Trump had nothing else to say.

Hillary Clinton Laughs When Supporter Said He Wanted to “Strangle” Carly Fiorina – Video

When someone stood up and said Obama is “an Arab,” I expected then presidential candidate John McCain to take the mic away from that woman and correct her. McCain did, as he should, and received well deserved praise for his efforts. When a man stood up in Donald Trump rally and described Muslims as “a problem in this country” and then said, “you know the president is one,” I expected Donald Trump to correct the man. He didn’t, and got some well deserved criticisms for it.

Even Hillary Clinton slammed Donald Trump in a tweet, letting him know he should have corrected the man. “Donald Trump not denouncing false statements about POTUS & hateful rhetoric about Muslims is disturbing,” Hillary tweeted, “& just plain wrong. Cut it out. -H”

But when a military veteran at an event in New Hampshire told Hillary Clinton that he wanted to “strangle” another presidential candidate, Republican Carly Fiorina, I expected Hillary Clinton to denounce the man and his statement. She didn’t. Instead, she laughed, telling the man, “I wouldn’t mess with you!”

Report – Father Had His Hands Up When Police Killed His 6-Year-Old

Why am I not surprised.

Police body camera video shows the
father of a 6-year-old autistic boy had his hands up and posed no threat as police opened fire into his car, severely wounding the motorist and killing his son, the man’s lawyer said Monday.

“This was not a threatening situation for the police,” said Mark Jeansonne (ZHAN’-sawn), the attorney for Chris Few, who remained hospitalized Monday and could not attend the funeral of his son, Jeremy Mardis.

Jeansonne spoke with The Associated Press after a closed hearing in a Louisiana jail where he said the two local marshals were ordered held on $1 million bonds. Derrick Stafford, 32, of Mansura, and Norris Greenhouse Jr., 23, of Marksville, are both charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.

The lawyer said he still hasn’t seen the video, but its contents were described to the judge during the hearing.

Ted Cruz’s SuperPac Slams Marco Rubio as The Absentee Senator – Video

ab·sen·tee
ˌabsənˈtē/
noun
 1. a person who is expected or required to be present at a place or event but is not.

A superpac affiliated with Ted Cruz is slamming Marco Rubio in a new ad as an absentee Senator who has done nothing since being elected to congress. But, according to the ad, Marco looks good on TV!

I’m not going to say how Rubio looks on TV, but the part about him being awol from his job in the senate is a documented fact. And now, the man who can’t even do his job in the senate, is running to be the next president of the United States!

Laughable!

Black American Seeking Refuge in Canada Because of Police Brutality – Video

It has come down to this!

Kyle Lydell Canty, 30, crossed into B.C.’s Lower Mainland in early September of 2015, telling border agents that he was here to visit and take photographs, but once in Vancouver decided he would apply to remain as a refugee.

“I’m in fear of my life because I’m black,” he told IRB member Ron Yamauchi in a hearing on October 23rd in Vancouver. “This is a well-founded fear.”

Canty argues that black people are “being exterminated at an alarming rate” in the U.S. and included examples such as the shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri and the death of Eric Garner in New York City at the hands of police.

Canty represented himself at the hearing, which he applied to have made public, and was commended by Yamauchi at its conclusion, who said Canty had put together a “well prepared case … and argued it as well as it could be.”

Canty submitted a significant evidence package to the IRB including videos, media reports and the UNHCR’s handbook on determining refugee status.

In order for someone to be called a refugee in Canada, they must prove they are in danger in their home country, “that you’re someone with a well-founded fear of persecution in your country, based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group.” said Melissa Anderson. who speaks for the IRB.

Born in New York, Canty has lived in six different states before arriving in Canada, a country he says he’s never been to before.

Ted Cruz – A President Must Begin His Day “on his knees” Before God – Video

It’s always amazing to me how religious these Republican politicians become around election time. Senator Ted Cruz is obviously trying to win the Republican’s nomination for president, so pandering to the religious base in his party is a necessary part of his game plan.

Speaking in an interview with conservative Pastor Kevin Swanson at the National Religious Liberties Conference, Ted Cruz told the crowd what they wanted to hear and in so doing, Cruz hopes to get a rise in the polls.

Swanson asked Cruz, “How important is it for the President of the United States to fear God and what does that mean to you?”

“Any president who doesn’t begin every day on his knees isn’t fit to be commander-in-chief of this nation,” Cruz stated.

The pastor said “amen” and the audience applauded in approval.

Chris Christie Vetoes Bill that Would Have Voting Easier in New Jersey

You did it Christie! You finally figured out a way to improve your poll numbers among the Republican voter. With your veto, which will make it harder to vote in New Jersey, the Republican base is sure to shower you with some new found adoration!

The measure, known as the Democracy Act, was passed in June by the Democratic-controlled legislature, and was strongly backed by voting rights advocates. It would have guaranteed two weeks of in-person early voting, including on weekends, would have automatically registered New Jerseyans to vote when they got a driver’s license or state ID, and would have established a system of online voter registration.

Christie’s decision sparked an outpouring of criticism from voting rights and good government groups.

“Automatic registration is good for the country, and good for New Jersey,” said Myrna Pérez, deputy director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law, which had pushed for the legislation. “The Democracy Act would have made our registration lists more accurate and up to date, and voting more flexible and convenient. We are extremely disappointed Governor Christie chose to veto a bill with these kinds of proven benefits. Instead of passing laws that make it harder for Americans to vote, lawmakers must work to modernize our voting system for the 21st century.”

Christie’s move wasn’t unexpected. Soon after the bill passed, he expressed skepticism about it on his radio show: “Is it really too much to ask to ask somebody to fill out a form to execute their right to vote?” he asked. “Is it really so much to ask people that if they’re in the state that they show up on Election Day and vote? The polls are open from six in the morning til eight in the evening.”

Vivica A Fox Implies 50 Cent is Gay

Shocking news to many, but to Vivica A Fox – the ex-wife of 50 Cent – it is quite possible that her ex hubby rapper is gay.

Fox was talking to Andy Cohen and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live when the conversation went to Fox’s upcoming appearance on Empire and the fact that her ex husband, 50 Cent, had some things to say about why Empire is losing its high ratings.

“What were your thoughts when 50 Cent blamed the season ratings dip on ‘gay stuff’?” Cohen asked.

“First of all, you know the pot called the kettle black is all I’m saying,” Fox responded.

Shocked at what she just heard, Burruss exclaimed, “That was some tea! That was shade. That was major shade.”

Cohen asked Fox, 51, if she was implying that the 40-year-old rapper might be gay, but she clarified that “he’s not.”

Then she added, “We had a great time. He just seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear.” She also said that a magazine cover with 50 Cent and Soulja Boy raised some questions for her.

Not long after WWHL aired, 50 Cent responded to his ex-girlfriend’s comments in a NSFW way. “Oh No!!! Now she things I’m gay because I let her lick my A**. LMAO,” he wrote. “Wait, I didn’t want her to, she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 Shades of Grey.”

Soulja Boy also Instagrammed about Fox, writing: “Everybody hit up this cougar..she’s single and ready to mingle …1-800-GrannyDesperateForAttention extension I’mWashedUp.”

Juan Williams – Ben Carson is “more Urkel than Thug Life” – Video

“This reminds me of a lot of rappers,” Juan Williams said, as he responded to Fox Host Chris Wallace’s statement about Carson’s so-called violent past and the media’s coverage of it. “They hype, they embellish, they exaggerate for the sake of presentation — the biography in this case.”

“With the high school incidents… I think it turns out he’s more Urkel than Thug Life,” he added. “And that’s the Ben Carson I know. I know the guy and I’m just telling you, he’s a wonderful guy but I never thought of him as any kind of thug or attacking people.”

Michael Moore Defends Quentin Tarantino – Cops “Are Trying to Chop” His Head Off

Not only is filmmaker Michael Moore standing up and defending Quentin Tarantino, he’s also trying to shame other whites into recognizing Tarantino’s right to Freedom of Speech!

You may remember last month when Quentin joined a RiseUpOctober rally in New York – a rally designed to highlight police brutality – and made news. Quentin correctly stated a fact – that some police officers who intentionally kill unarmed black men are murderers, and the victims are the murdered.

“When I see murders, I do not stand by… I have to call a murder a murder, and I have to call the murderers the murderers,” Quentin said at the rally.

Those words drew the wrath of the police unions and they went on the attack, encouraging their members to boycott an upcoming Tarantino movie and recently issuing what many are calling, a threat to the filmmaker.

“Something is in the works,” The executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police, Jim Pasco  said, “but the element of surprise is the most important element.” Pasco continued. “Something could happen anytime between now and [the premiere]. And a lot of it is going to be driven by Tarantino, who is nothing if not predictable.

But Moore is speaking out in defense to Tarantino, and he wants other whites to do the same.

The 61-year-old filmmaker and left-wing activist tried to shame others Friday for not rushing to the defense of Tarantino, who invoked the wrath of law enforcement last month for his controversial comments during an anti-police brutality march.

“Has any white person in this town, in the industry, stood up for Quentin Tarantino?” Moore asked the Hollywood Reporter. “The white guy stuck his neck out there and they’re trying to chop it off.”

“So, a couple of days ago I said, ‘To hell with that, I’m going to stand up for him,'” he added.

The “Bowling for Columbine” filmmaker went on to praise Tarantino’s participation in the Washington Square Park rally — during which he called certain cops murderers — as “incredible.”
