Republican Compares Trump to Jesus – Refers to Trump as “A New King”

The Chairman of the RNC, Reince Priebus, released a statement on Christmas somewhat mentioning Christ but more importantly apparently, announcing the arrival of “a new King” in Donald Trump!

“Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind,” RNC chairman Reince Priebus and co-chair Sharon Day said in the statement.

“Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King. We hope Americans celebrating Christmas today will enjoy a day of festivities and a renewed closeness with family and friends.”
Twitter of course, attacked the nonsense.

RNC Chair – Republicans “Cooked” if Democrats Win the White House in 2016

Republicans cannot find someone to lead them in The House of Representatives, so chances of them getting someone to lead the country in 2016 is bleak… in my view. But I’m not the only one feeling that way. Apparently, the Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) feels the same way.

In an interview with The Washington Examiner, Reince Priebus explained his party’s plight, saying that they are “cooked” if Republican cannot win in 2016!

“Our job as a national party is to elect Republicans, and it generally means House, Senate, presidential,” Priebus said. “We’re viewed in a presidential year as the presidential committee that is responsible for helping elect the president, but at the same time, we have a responsibility to help pay for the ground operation in every targeted U.S. Senate races and the targeted Congressional races as well, so it is our job to do all three.”

Priebus went on to say that, while he has had success at getting Republicans elected to the House and Senate in midterm elections, the White House has proven more difficult.

“We’re seeing more and more that if you don’t hold the White House, it’s very difficult to govern in this country — especially in Washington D.C.” Priebus explained.

“So I think that — I do think that we’re cooked as a party for quite a while as a party if we don’t win in 2016. So I do think that it’s going to be hard to dig out of something like that,” he added.

Republican RNC Candidate – Gays Are a “Perversion” Created by Satan

A new candidate for a Michigan seat on the Republican National Committee wants gays “purged” from the GOP and claims homosexuality is a “perversion” created by Satan himself.

Mary Helen Sears of Houghton County in the state’s Upper Peninsula, elected vice chair of the Michigan Republican Party’s 1st District last year, posted a rant in April on the Schoolcraft County GOP website — preceded by a warning asking readers to “please use your discretion before taking any decisions based on the information in this blog.”

In the post, Sears claimed that homosexuals prey on children, argued that “Satan uses homosexuality to attack the living space of the Holy Spirit” and advocated that Republicans “as a party should be purging this perversion and send them to a party with a much bigger tent.”

What Free Speech? Republicans Shut down Hillary Clinton Documentary

Celebrating the shutting down of production on documentaries by a political party that claims to champion free speech is, at the very least, hypocritical. But that’s what the Republican Part is doing now that both HBO and NBC have put documentaries about Hillary Clinton on ice.

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said his party “won a major victory against the mainstream media” Monday after NBC and CNN canceled plans for programming about Hillary Clinton.

The RNC had threatened to blackball NBC and CNN from participation in Republican primary debates for the next presidential election if they had fulfilled their plans of a miniseries, in the case of NBC, and a documentary, in the case of CNN.

On Monday, Preibus seemed convinced that it was the RNC’s threat that encouraged the two networks to drop their plans, though neither CNN nor NBC cited the RNC as the reason for abandoning their projects about Clinton, the former first lady, U.S. senator and U.S. secretary of state.

Why should NBC or CNN care if the Republican Party doesn’t want their debates on those networks? The party has more to lose from not having the widest distribution possible.

Heartless Republicans Fundraising from Bush’s Heart Surgery

If you thought something as serious as George Bush’s recent heart surgery would demand some respect and a little bit of civility from these Republicans, then think again! ABC is reporting that the Republican National Congressional Committee used Bush’s medical procedure as an opportunity to raise money!

Following former President George W. Bush’s heart surgery Tuesday, the National Republican Congressional Committee reportedly used a “get well soon” card for Bush to raise money for its organization.

“President George W. Bush courageously defended our freedom and our country, and America misses his days in office now more than ever before,” the NRCC wrote on its website, with a link to sign a card. The e-card on the website did not appear to link to a fundraising pitch.

However, the NRCC originally emailed supporters a version of the e-card that linked to a fundraising page for the NRCC, according to The Dallas Morning News.

After signing, supporters were prompted to, “Chip in $5 to help us send President Bush a bouquet of bluebonnets – the Texas state flower.” But the listed donation possibilities went up as high as $250, according to the Dallas newspaper.

When asked, the NRCC did not send the original emailed pitch to ABC News or comment on the reported fundraising, instead emailing a brief statement.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Americans to show President Bush how much they care about him as he recovers,” NRCC spokesman Daniel Scarpinato wrote. “The reaction has been overwhelming, and we all look forward to his speedy recovery.”

CNN’s Black Camera Woman Called “Animal” At Republican’s Convention

On Thursday, Patricia Carroll, the CNN camerawoman who had peanuts thrown at her and was called an “animal” at the Republican National Convention, commented on the incident for the first time. She wasn’t surprised by what happened.

“I hate that it happened, but I’m not surprised at all,” Carroll, 34, told Journal-isms. She later added, “This is Florida, and I’m from the Deep South…You come to places like this, you can count the black people on your hand. They see us doing things they don’t think I should do.”

Carroll was the camera operator who was mocked by two RNC attendees who threw nuts at her while saying, “This is how we feed the animals.” RNC security ejected them from the convention, with representatives condemning the incident. CNN later confirmed the occurrence in their own statement.

Of the convention, she noted there “are not that many black women there.” But, Carroll said, she doesn’t want the incident to be used for anyone’s political advantage — because “racism is a global issue.” It “could happen to me at the Democratic convention or standing on the street corner,” she said.

Comedy Central Points Out More Republican Hypocrisy – Video

So we all know that the Republican Delegates are the ones who picked and solidify Mitt Romney’s position as their Nominee. And we all know that in their Platform, the Republicans have included language making no exceptions for abortions. But Mitt Romney recently changed his position on abortions, saying he would allow the procedure in the case of rape or incest, or if the mother’s life depends on it.

Which brings us to Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. Sent out to interview these Delegates, Samantha Bee asks how they plan to support Romney when he doesn’t agree with the Republican Platform. And in the process, these Delegates – who are trying to take away a woman’s right to choose – reveals something very interesting. Their hypocrisy.

“You can’t force Mitt Romney to choose,” said one Delegate.

“He is allow to choose. This man is not a robot,” said another.

And another, “we live in a free society, we live in America. It is up to any human being to choose. To decide what’s best for themselves.”

On and on, the Delegates continues to proclaim Romney’s right to choose. But when Samantha Bee shows the hypocrisy of their position when it comes to a woman’s right to choose, it seems that’s where the choice stops. When it comes to a woman’s right to choose, Government (a Republican government) has to step in and make that decision for a woman.

Samantha sums it up by telling one Delegate, ““Say hello to my uterus,” she said. “You own a little piece of it. ‘Hello! I belong to everybody!’”
