Jeb Bush’s Poll Numbers Sink to New Lows in Latest Poll

Jeb Bush’s campaign should be studied, dissected and analyzed, then documented and hung in the campaign Hall of Shame for future campaigns to know what not to do.

The latest poll, conducted after last week’s third GOP debate in which Bush delivered a mediocre performance, just 4 percent of Republican and independent Republican-leaning voters said they would support Bush in their state’s primary. In the September survey, Bush earned 10 percent, trailing Trump, Carson and Carly Fiorina. And in terms of favorability, no one polled lower than Bush, at a net-negative of 33 points. Just 25 percent of all registered voters surveyed said they had a positive opinion of him, while 58 percent said they had a negative one.

For its part, the Bush campaign has tried to manage expectations among the media.

“FYI political press corps. Jeb’s going to have a few weeks of bad polls,” campaign communications director Tim Miller tweeted Monday. “Comebacks take time, we recognize and are prepared for that.”

Pure Insanity – Hillary Clinton and Ben Carson Tied in Nationwide Poll

It is times like this when I know my theory is correct, that Americans love punishment. How the hell is Ben Carson – a man who gives me the urge to flush the toilet everytime he opens his mouth, how can this man be tied with Hillary Clinton – the former Secretary of State – for president?

Pure insanity!

Clinton is ahead of Republican Donald Trump by eight points among registered voters, 50 percent to 42 percent.

She leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush by four points, 47 percent to 43 percent.

And Clinton holds a three-point advantage over Sen. Marco Rubio, 47 percent to 44 percent, though that’s well within the poll’s margin of error of plus-minus 3.4 percentage points.

But against Ben Carson, who is now leading the GOP horse race in the NBC/WSJ poll, Clinton finds herself in a tied contest, 47 percent to 47 percent.

The reason why Carson performs better versus Clinton than the rest of the GOP field is due to Carson’s standing among independent voters.

“47 Percent” of Republicans Say Trump will Win It All

Ask Donald Trump about his policy on any issue, be it foreign or domestic, and you’ll get the same answer – when I’m the president, everything will be great! Everyone will be rich!

Well that’s the only answer some Republicans need to stamp Trump their candidate in 2016. Details about his policies are apparently not that important for these voters.

A new poll finds thatTrump leads Carson and the rest of the field on key attributes in addition to being seen as the most likely to win it all.

Approximately 47 percent said he is the best leader, while a plurality of 32 percent gave him the upper hand on the issues over Carson, at 19 percent.

He is also seen as the strongest candidate on immigration, with 39 percent backing him in that regard, and 29 percent said he understands people like them, leading the field over Carson’s 19 percent.

Meanwhile, a larger share of voters saw Carson as honest (33 percent to Trump’s 21 percent) and having a better personality (24 percent to 19 percent). At the same time, Bush leads the field in terms of the candidate voters felt is most experienced for the job, with 31 percent to Trump’s 23 percent.

Poll: Ben Carson and Donald Trump Almost Tied for First

In a new NBC/WSJ Poll, Ben Carson is just one more outrageous statement away from taking the lead from Donald Trump. But it’s still early, and there are still many more outrageous statements to come from both Donald Trump and Ben Carson. The most outrageous is sure to win over the Republican base.

In the new poll, Donald Trump is now at 21% with Ben Carson closely following with 20%. Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio are tied for third place with 11%. Coming in fourth is Jeb! Bush with 7%.

Rand Paul and Chris Christie both ties with a whopping 3% and bottoming out the Republican list are Mike Huckabee with 2%, Rick Santorum with 1% and Bobby Jindal at 1%. There are a few more people who are below 1% and not worth the time mentioning in this post.

The Poll was conducted between September 20th and September 24th.

Poll: Despite The Sexism, Donald Trump Increases Lead Among Republican Voters

They love the guy! No matter how low he goes – implying that war-hero John McCain is a coward, demoralizing women with sexist remarks including his most recent attacks on Fox’s Megyn Kelly – Donald Trump still finds a place to call home among Republicans.

In the national survey of more than 1,000 registered voters conducted August 11-13, Trump stands at 25%, one point less than his standing in the same poll before the debate, but more than double each of his competitors. Even with the margin of error at plus or minus three points, Trump’s lead is commanding.

His closest rival in the poll is Ben Carson at 12% (up five points post-debate), followed by Ted Cruz at 10% (up four points). In fourth place is Jeb Bush with 9%, dropping six points from his second place standing before the debate, the largest decrease of any candidate.

New Poll – Bernie Sanders Leads Hillary Clinton in New Poll

He has commanded the crowds as huge numbers show up at his campaign events and now Bernie Sanders, the Democratic candidate running for president in 2016, has taken the lead away from Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire.

A new poll shows Bernie Sanders with an apparent lead over Hillary Rodham Clinton among likely Democratic voters in New Hampshire, adding to his momentum in the nation’s first presidential primary state.

Sanders, the independent senator from neighboring Vermont, tops Clinton, the former secretary of state, 44 percent to 37 percent, in the new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll.

The survey, taken Aug. 7-10, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.7 percent, meaning Sanders’s lead is not considered statistically significant by pollsters.

Responsibility – Republicans Love Donald Trump – #PureInsanity

Republicans have no sense of responsibility, despite their claim that they are. It’s all a big lie and here’s why. They love Donald Trump and if given a chance, they will elect him president of the United States in a heartbeat! That, my friends, is not the thinking of a responsible party!

A new Washington Post ABC News Pol found that among Republicans, Donald Trump is surging right now! Nearly six in 10 — 57 percent — Republicans now have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 40 percent who have an unfavorable one. That marks a complete reversal from a late-May Post-ABC poll, in which 65 percent of Republicans saw Trump unfavorably.

Trump continues to be unpopular among the public at large, with negative marks outpacing positive ones 61-33. “Strongly unfavorable” views outnumber strongly positive ratings by a 3-1 ratio.

But Trump’s image has improved since his campaign launch; in May, just 16 percent had a favorable view of him, while 71 percent were unfavorable — by far the worst rating among a slew of candidates in that poll.

New Poll – Americans Stand With Obama on New Iran Nuclear Plan

According to a new poll by Quinnipiac University, 58% of Americans stand with the president on the new Iran nuclear plan.

According to the new poll released earlier this week, a majority of Americans believe the new plan should get the approval of Congress, with 33% rejecting the plan altogether.
But 77% say they want to plan to succeed instead of a military intervention, as proposed by Congressional Republicans.

“Americans are worried about Iran, but not enough to send in the troops,” said Tim Malloy of Quinnipiac.

The poll was taken between April 16 and 21 and surveyed 1,353 registered voters.

The Lunatics Are In Charge – Fox News Is “Most Trusted Network”

As a nation, we have collectively fell off the turnip truck and hit our head. That is the only logical explanation for this poll.

Fox News has the most trusted network and cable news coverage in the United States, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released Monday. But network TV is much less trustworthy than it was in the days of Walter Cronkite, American voters say.

In comparison rankings, 29 percent responded that they trust Fox News the most. CNN follows with 22 percent, with CBS News and NBC News at 10 percent, ABC News at 8 percent and MSNBC at 7 percent.

When asked whether they trusted the journalistic coverage of each network, 20 percent said they do “a great deal” for Fox, and 35 percent said “somewhat.”

Compared with the days of old network news, only 7 percent think the information presented is more trustworthy, with 48 percent responding that it is less so and 35 percent answering that it is about the same.

Among Republican voters, 58 percent say they trust Fox News the most, with 13 percent favoring CNN, 7 percent for NBC and CBS, 5 percent for ABC and 2 percent for MSNBC.

With Democrats, CNN is the top choice: 32 percent prefer CNN, 15 percent for NBC, 14 percent for CBS and MSNBC and 8 percent for ABC.

New Poll – Americans Would Blame Republicans for DHS Shutdown – Video

And rightly so. Republican House Speaker John Boehner went on Fox News over the weekend and screamed down Fox host, Chris Wallace, telling him that the blame for any Department of Homeland Security shutdown would be placed on Senate Democrats. Boehner was quick to point out that the House of Representatives already passed a bill to keep DHS going past the February 28th deadline, but he failed to admit that the bill contained language specifically geared to shutting down President Obama’s immigration order.

Senate Democrats have said that they would not entertain any DHS funding bill that degrades the President’s immigration order, so we stand at a standstill with the February 28th deadline quickly approaching.

But who should be blamed if the deadline passes and Homeland Security funding stops?

A recent poll conducted by CNN puts that blame in the lap of Congressional Republicans.

Republicans in Congress would shoulder the blame for a shutdown at the Department of Homeland Security if they are unable to enact a new spending bill to keep the agency running, according to a new CNN/ORC poll. The survey finds 53% of Americans would blame the Republicans in Congress if the department must shut down, while 30% would blame President Barack Obama. Another 13% say both deserve the blame.

If a spending bill is not passed by Feb. 28, the agency’s funding will run out.

A majority says a shutdown at DHS, even if it’s just for a few days, would be a crisis or a major problem. Republicans are less likely to see a shutdown as a big problem, 46% say so compared with 66% among Democrats. Among all adults, slightly fewer see a DHS shutdown as a problem or crisis than said so in November when asked about a possible shutdown of the whole government, 55% now vs. 59% in that poll.

As in November, this shutdown threat has more to do with immigration policy than with budgetary concerns.

House Republicans have been sparring with their Senate counterparts over whether a bill to continue the agency’s funding should also reverse Obama’s executive actions on immigration, which shielded millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation. The House has already passed a bill to fund DHS which includes a provision to undo Obama’s actions, but Senate Democrats have blocked attempts to bring the bill to a vote and some Senate Republicans have spoken out against dealing with both issues in one bill.

Poll – Scott Walker Leading Republican Wannabes for President in 2016

Scott Walker – the man who went on a mission to dismantle the unions in his state of Wisconsin, a state with a dismal economic outlook due to weak job growth since Walker became governor – now has his eyes set in the White House,  and according to this new poll, Walker is leading all the potential Republican wannabes for the 2016 presidential election.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is surging, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is an also-ran and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is dominating in a new poll of Iowans likely to vote in the nation’s first presidential nominating contest.

The Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register Iowa Poll, taken Monday through Thursday, shows Walker leading a wide-open Republican race with 15 percent, up from just 4 percent in the same poll in October. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was at 14 percent and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who won the Iowa caucuses in 2008, stood at 10 percent.

Bush trailed with 8 percent and increasingly is viewed negatively by likely Republican caucus-goers. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is in even worse shape, with support from just 4 percent. More troubling for Christie: He’s viewed unfavorably by 54 percent, among the highest negative ratings in the potential field. At 9 percent, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson pulls more support than either Bush or Christie.
