New Lows for Trump’s Approval Ratings

Olbermann called him “our national embarrassment, our international disgrace.” And it seems the rest of the country concurs. Let’s see how low Trump’s poll numbers would go.

The new Quinnipiac University poll finds Trump has a job approval rating of 34 percent, compared to 57 percent who disapprove of the way the president is handling his job.

In a poll released at the end of last month, 37 percent of respondents approved of the job the president was doing and 55 percent disapproved.

The new poll also finds 31 percent of voters think Trump did something illegal regarding his relationship with Russia.

Another 29 percent of respondents think the president did something unethical, but not illegal, regarding his relationship with Russia. Thirty-two percent think the president did nothing wrong.

Poll: Chris Christie’s Approval Hits New Low in New Jersey

How low will he go? I don’t know, but according to these new poll results in New Jersey, Republican Governor Chris Christie just hit an all time low in the state he governs.

New Jersey voters disapprove of the job Christie is doing by 56 percent to 38 percent, his lowest-ever approval rating, according to a Quinnipiac University poll.

Voters gave him the lowest marks for his handling of the state budget, education, the economy and jobs. The results come just days after the state of New Jersey’s credit rating was downgraded for a ninth time since Christie took office in January 2010.

Moody’s Investors Service cut New Jersey to A2 with a negative outlook late on Thursday, citing “the lack of improvement in the state’s weak financial position and large structural imbalance,” stemming mostly from huge shortfalls in its public pension contributions.

New Jersey is the second-lowest-rated U.S. state, behind only Illinois.

Chris Christie’s Approval Ratings Sink to All Time Low

He’s running around the country gearing up for a 2016 presidential run, but back in the state of New Jersey, the state he actually governs, Chris Christie’s approval ratings just hit a new low.

In a Rutgers University-Eagleton poll released on Friday, 53 percent of New Jersey voters view Christie unfavorably and just 37 percent hold a favorable view of the governor — down 7 percentage points in two months.

The possible 2016 GOP candidate’s job approval ratings are facing similar blows. Fifty-two percent of New Jersey voters disapprove of the job Christie is doing while 42 percent approve. In December, 48 percent of voters approved of Christie’s job performance.
Those questioned for the poll were able to elaborate on why exactly they hold unfavorable opinions of their governor. When asked, 20 percent cited his “attitude, personality and behavior,” while 15 percent specifically mentioned Bridgegate and 10 percent mentioned his national ambitions to possibly run for president in 2016 as affecting his ability to govern the state.

“As one respondent said, ‘Christie visiting different states for the presidential race made New Jerseyans not like him,’” David Redlawsk, director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling, said in a news release.

“Others used words like ‘arrogance,’ ‘rudeness’ and ‘abrasive’ to explain the turnaround from his high flying post-Sandy days. And of course, all manner of mentions of Bridgegate and other scandals were offered.”

New Poll – Obama’s Approval Ratings Up 7 Points Since October

The Washington Post reports that President Obama’s approval rating is up 7 percentage points since October, pulling his support out from underwater but leaving Americans still divided over the president’s leadership, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

The CBS survey has the president’s approval rating at 46 percent, up from 39 percent when CBS last polled the question in October. That rise has been particularly sharp among political independents, whose support for the president has risen 11 percent in the last three months.

The White House has had a busy few months, announcing several major initiatives that include an executive action on immigration policy and expanded diplomatic relations with Cuba. Perhaps most notably, these new numbers fall against the backdrop of positive economic trends that have elevated consumer confidence to its highest level since the 2008 recession.

President Obama’s Approval Numbers Are On The Rise

The President’s poll numbers hit a low of 39% approval and 54% disapproval when this poll was taken during the December 21st to 23rd period. Around that same time, Americans were storming the healthcare.gov website signing up for policies that went into effect January 1st. But since the 39% lows, Americans are beginning to see President Obama in a whole new light and Obamacare-love seems to be the only reason, considering the President has not done anything tremendous since those lows. In fact, he is on vacation with his family.

According to the new poll taken between December 27 and December 29th, President Obama’s approval shot up to 44% and his disapproval fell to 49%. Just another small piece of evidence to prove that, unlike the Republican lie claiming that people don’t want Obamacare, they do want Obamacare and they’re loving it!

President’s Approval Ratings Fall

Republicans rejoice! The easily fooled Americans are buying your lies about the president and healthcare.

WASHINGTON — President Obama’s approval ratings are so sickly that Mitt Romney could beat him right now, a new poll has found.

Obamacare is the heart of the problem, with opposition to the Affordable Care Act at a new high, 57%, according to the Washington Post-ABC News poll released Tuesday.

The President’s overall approval rating is at 42%, a loss of six points in a month.

He’s at career lows for leadership and honesty, with his rating for leadership down by 15 points this year.

Romney topped Obama 49% to 45% among registered voters in the poll, while the 2012 rivals were tied at 47% among all Americans polled.

In the 2012 election, Obama beat Romney, 51% to 47%.

A big reason for the turnaround is chagrin among independents and moderates. Their disapproval of Obamacare has risen sharply.

President Obama’s Approval Ratings Fall 8 Points

Credit for the nose dive in the president’s approval ratings goes to the Republican propaganda machine. I know they must be proud.

President Obama’s approval rating has plummeted eight points over the past month, as the White House continues to deal with a slew of controversies, according to a new poll released Monday.

Obama’s approval rating fell to 45% from 53%, his lowest rating in more than a year, a new CNN/ ORC International survey showed.

“It is clear that revelations about NSA surveillance programs have damaged Obama’s standing with the public, although older controversies like the IRS matter may have begun to take their toll as well,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said in a statement.

The poll, conducted last Tuesday through Thursday, also suggests that more than half of the public no longer trusts the President.

Only 49% of the public believes Obama is honest, the poll showed. In addition, 54% of those polled disapprove of the job Obama is doing as President — an increase of nine points from May.

The new ratings come just weeks after it was revealed that the National Security Administration has been monitoring cell-phone and Internet usage data to help prevent terror attacks.

President Obama’s Approval Ratings Highest Since The Killing of Osama bin Laden

A new Associated Press/GFK Poll has President Obama’s approval ratings almost as high as it was when the President was first elected in 2008, and his new ratings are where they were when Mr. Obama announced the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Obama’s approval rating stands at 57 percent, the highest since May 2011, when U.S. Navy SEALs killed the terror leader, and up 5 percentage points from before the election. And 42 percent say the country is on the right track, up from 35 percent in January 2009.

A majority think it’s likely that the president will be able to improve the economy in his second term.

“Compared to the alternative, I’m more optimistic about government and the economy with him in office,” said Jack Reinholt, an independent from Bristol, R.I., who backed Obama in 2008 and again in 2012. “I feel he has the better path laid out.”

Looking ahead to Obama’s final four years, most Americans doubt he can reduce the federal budget deficit. But almost 7 in 10 say he will be able to implement the health care law passed in March 2010 and remove most troops from Afghanistan. And most think he’ll be able to improve the economy and boost race relations in his final term, though both those figures are down significantly from January 2009.

Poll finds Worst Unfavorable Ratings for Romney Since 1984

A new ABC/Washington Post poll shows that “50 percent of all surveyed and 52 percent of registered voters held unfavorable opinions of Romney. Thirty-four percent hold positive views on Romney, the lowest for any leading presidential contender in Post/ABC polls dating back to 1984.

“The poll also finds that Romney’s unfavorability tops Obama’s highest unfavorability rating in the poll’s history.

“Adding to Romney’s challenge in a potential general-election fight, by comparison, Obama holds a 53 percent favorability rating and a 43 percent unfavorable mark, according to the survey.”
