Republicans have tried and failed to return Healthcare to what it once was – an unsustainable strain on the U.S economy and a profit-making endeavor by insurance companies that refuse to insure people with pre-existing conditions and drop others when they get sick and need their insurance most. But President Obama stood in their way.
Now that Republicans control all three branches of Government, Mitch McConnell is excited about the prospects of putting huge profit margins back in the pocket of insurance companies at the expense of the American people.
Giddy with joy at a Trump win and the fact that Republicans maintained control of the House and Senate, McConnell said that repealing Obamacare is once again a top priority.
“It’s pretty high on our agenda as you know,” the Kentucky Republican said on Wednesday. “I would be shocked if we didn’t move forward and keep our commitment to the American people.”
Insurance companies rejoice.
Everyone is still shocked by what they’re calling a “win” by Donald Trump. But according to the Russian government, there is no surprise there at all because they “helped” with the Trump win.
Putin has dismissed claims by U.S. authorities that Russia had interfered with the American election by hacking Clinton and the Democratic National Committee and then dumping their private emails online through WikiLeaks.
But Sergei Markov, a pro-Kremlin political analyst, suggested some Russian involvement had helped Trump win his unlikely White House bid, reported The Guardian.
Markov said Trump’s win made a Russian-U.S. agreement on Syria, where the two powers back opposing sides, more likely, and the Putin advisor said Americans would be less likely to support “the terroristic junta in Ukraine.”
He denied allegations of Russian interference, as American officials have claimed, but admitted “maybe we helped a bit with WikiLeaks.”
At a little after 2am, the brother of the current President took to twitter to congratulate the man he supported in the elections. Sporting a “Make America Great Again” Trump cap, Obama’s brother tweeted, “CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT TRUMP! GOD IS GREAT!

He has since removed the tweet of him voting for his father, but images of his illegal activity has been forever recorded in internet archives and in screenshots.
New York election law dictates any person who “[s]hows his ballot after it is prepared for voting, to any person so as to reveal the contents … is guilty of a misdemeanor,” according to a BuzzFeed report.
At a Minnesota rally for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump today, Reuters Politics photographed one Trump supporter wearing a pretty provocative T-shirt.
I am pretty sure Donald Trump didn’t see this shirt, he would have brought the guy onstage and congratulated him on his outfit.

President Obama laid out a simple truth today while doing his final campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Revealing that Donald Trump’s campaign advisers took away Trump’s twitter account over the weekend, the President asked;
“If your closest advisers don’t trust him to tweet, how can we trust him with the Nuclear codes?”
I haven’t heard it said so clearly before. Can you imagine?

“Make America Great Again…” yea, but without those others. You know, those others who are not like us, who look different and who act different. A little 12-year-old boy with cerebral palsy found out the hard way that Trump and his supporters don’t want his contribution to making America great.
JJ Holmes and his mother were kicked out of a Trump rally on Saturday after the two showed their support for Hillary Clinton. According to reports, Donald Trump demanded that the mother and her son be removed immediately. As they were escorted out of the rally, the angry crowd began chanting “USA! USA,” even kicking the wheelchair JJ was in.
“I hate Donald Trump,” J.J. piped up, speaking through a computer vocalization device. “I hate Donald Trump.”
As if there is any good news in this story… a day after JJ experienced the worse of America, he experienced the best. The President of the United States met and greeted JJ and his mother

The announcement came just days before the 2016 presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. After arousing the Republicans’ manhood with news that more Clinton emails were found on Anthony Weiner’s computer, FBI Director James Comey has now announced that after reviewing the new emails, there will be no further charges to Mrs Clinton.
The pressure was intense. FBI Director James B. Comey had told legislators in late October — less than two weeks before the election — that the bureau’s work had resumed, igniting a firestorm of criticism that his revelation had affected the election. The agents’ work, at first, seemed endless. They had to use special software to sift through some 650,000 emails.
But on Sunday, just two days before the election, Comey announced that the team had news to share. After reviewing “all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State,” he wrote, investigators had “not changed our conclusions.”
The messages, U.S. officials familiar with the case said, were either personal or duplicative of those found earlier in the investigation.
What, really, is there to say? We have come to the end of a truly unique and disturbing Presidential election, and in the end, most people will reject Donald Trump’s twisted view of America and his repeated assertion that only he can fix our problems. Yes, I know that many on the left, and some on the right, are rightly appalled that he stayed so close in the race through November. Why isn’t Hillary Clinton trouncing him in the polls? What’s wrong with the Republican Party? Where’s the outrage?
The honest truth is that it was always going to be far more difficult electing a woman to the presidency. Overt sexism is alive and very well in the United States, and, more specifically, at Harvard University, and while I can’t say that it’s more or less virulent than racism, it does seem to manifest itself on a broader level in society. More people, it seems, see racism and treatment of African-Americans as more unjust, more obnoxious and more unfair than our historic treatment of women, and I think it’s because mistreatment of women cuts across all ethnic and racial groups. Seeing women as second class citizens and/or as sex objects is still a cultural norm.
That Hillary Clinton will likely become the first female president will be a significant milestone in the country’s development. She will have overcome an opponent who represents the worst of America and who reminds us that we are not a nation that wants to turn the clock back to a time when it was fine to refer to woman as inferior or to question someone’s judgement because of their ethnicity. Three debates and countless news stories have shown that Donald Trump is not the kind of person most people want to lead our country. It will be close. In the end, it won’t matter. Hillary will be the president and she will have the power of the office.
It will then be up to the Republicans to decide whether they want the country to move forward. Will they make good on their promise to block any Supreme Court nominee that Clinton send them? Will they threaten to shut down the government? Will they refuse to compromise on tax reform, immigration reform and background checks? We cannot afford four more years of one party believe that the other party’s presidents are somehow illegitimate. It’s time to move forward.
Make sure you get out and vote on Tuesday.

If you arrived in the United States and illegally made money, you’d be in a lot of trouble. But Melania Trump, the woman Republicans want to be the next First Lady of the United States, apparently worked illegally when she came to this country, and Republicans are clearly okay with that.
Melania Trump was paid for 10 modeling jobs in the United States worth $20,056 that occurred in the seven weeks before she had legal permission to work in the country, according to detailed accounting ledgers, contracts and related documents from 20 years ago provided to The Associated Press.
The details of Mrs. Trump’s early paid modeling work in the U.S. emerged in the final days of a bitter presidential campaign in which her husband, Donald Trump, has taken a hard line on immigration laws and those who violate them. Trump has proposed broader use of the government’s E-verify system allowing employers to check whether job applicants are authorized to work. He has noted that federal law prohibits illegally paying immigrants.
Mrs. Trump, who received a green card in March 2001 and became a U.S. citizen in 2006, has always maintained that she arrived in the country legally and never violated the terms of her immigration status. During the presidential campaign, she has cited her story to defend her husband’s hard line on immigration.
