Black Trump Supporter – “I don’t live in a black neighborhood so I’m not worried about getting shot”

The following was said by Ret. Brigadier Gen. Remo Butler, as he was interviewed by Carol Costello on CNN. I’m sure by now you have noticed that Remo Butler is a black man, but as a Trump supporter, I guess it makes sense the things he said below.

“A lot of black people don’t support Donald Trump for their own reasons, and I don’t think that the Republican party has done him any favors by helping him with his outreach to the minority communities. You know, most minorities, we want the same thing that everybody else wants,” Butler explained. “The media — and I’m not bashing the media, I would never bash the media. But you heard this: The media sets the tone. If you watch the media and you watch TV, you would think that all black people are on welfare. We live in the ghetto, we’re so afraid of getting shot, and we wear our hair in dreadlocks.”

Referring to his own baldness, Butler remarked, “I don’t wear my hair in dreadlocks because I don’t have hair.”

“Two, I speak fairly well; people can understand me. Three, I don’t live in a black neighborhood so I’m not worried about going out and getting shot,” Butler said, alluding to Trump’s past lines courting black voters. “Most of my friends are like me. We are, as Reagan said, the silent majority. There’s a silent majority of black people — you notice I don’t use the term African-American — of black people out there. And I believe a lot of those people want the same things that Donald Trump wants.

President Obama Defends Colin Kaepernick’s Right to Protest

San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, has come under a lot of heat and scrutiny lately for refusing to stand during the playing of the national anthem. Kaepernick states racial injustice as his reason for protesting.

In a press conference on Monday, President Obama showed support for Kaepernick when asked about the quarterback and the backlash he’s met.

“[H]e’s following his constitutional right to make a statement,” Obama said at a press conference in Hangzhou, China, responding to a question about the quarterback. “I think there’s a long history of sports figures doing so.”

The president added, “I don’t doubt his sincerity. I think he cares about some real, legitimate issues that have to be talked about. And if nothing else, he’s generated some conversation around some topics that need to be talked about it.”

Kaepernick has refused to stand for the pre-game playing of the national anthem, citing racial injustice and the oppression of minorities in America.

At Monday’s press conference, Obama reiterated his call for an “active citizenry” and praised the 28-year-old professional athlete for speaking out: “I would rather have young people who are engaged in the argument and trying to think through how they can be part of our democratic process than people who are just sitting on the sidelines and not paying attention at all.”

Trump Supporter – If Black Americans “Return” to Africa, They’ll Find Work – Video

He sat on the CNN set with his Trump pin prominently displayed on his suit and explained that black Americans could “return” to Africa to find work.

Apostle Thomas Rodgers, Sr. of Antioch Road to Glory International Ministries in North Carolina told CNN host Carol Costello that black Americans should receive “dual citizenship” so that they could find jobs in Africa.

“African-Americans are the only people in the world who do not seek dual citizenship,” Rodgers said. “That’s why Chicago gangs, California gangs, the Crips and the Bloods and Detroit in Michigan — we have gangs in the streets because blacks have no vision, they have no leadership.”

“You’ve also talked about building a road back to Africa,” Costello noted. “Can you explain that?”

Rodgers replied: “Matter of fact, where our ancestors came from, from the Indian Ocean all the way across the Atlantic Ocean, that’s 4,000 miles and we want to go back and help with the highways all the way across, to create jobs, train rails, pipelines, oil, petroleum. They create jobs for young people that can’t find jobs here, that the Democrats have not did.”

“I think it would give young people in prison [jobs] just like Great Britain did,” he opined.

“So you are suggesting young people in trouble should go back to Africa, perhaps to find jobs?” the CNN host pressed.

“Not to go back, but I say to return,” Rodgers insisted. “It’s a clause in the United Nations charter, our right to return, to help build infrastructure. Everybody don’t want to stay here. We are skilled people.”

Democratic strategist Angela Rye pointed out that building a “literal” bridge back to Africa was “probably impossible.”

Actor Don Cheadle to Donald Trump – “die in a grease fire”

Actor Don Cheadle added to the criticism of Donald Trump Saturday, after the Republican presidential nominee tweeted about the death of Nykea Aldridge, the cousin of basketball player Dwyane Wade who was caught in crossfire and shot in the head and arm while leaving a school in Chicago, The Hill reports.

“Dwayne [sic] Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!” he tweeted, misspelling the athlete’s name.

The black actor responded in two harshly worded tweets.

Twitter Suspends Accounts of Racists for Attacking Actor Leslie Jones

Chalk one up for the good guys. After pointing out and retweeting some of the vile and racist tweets sent her way, Ghostbusters star, Leslie Jones, got some sort of redemption on Tuesday when Twitter finally responded by permanently suspending some of the racists who took part in the attack.
Among those banned Tuesday was Breitbart tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos, who has been a controversial figure on the site and helped lead the abuse against Jones. Yiannopoulos did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Twitter has long come under criticism for not doing enough to police abusive behavior on the often-freewheeling messaging service. Other celebrities have taken issue with abuse on the site, including writer and actress Lena Dunham, who said in September she had hired someone to tweet on her behalf because it was no longer a “safe space” for her.

Twitter said in a statement Tuesday that it had seen an “uptick” in the number of accounts violating its abuse and harassment policies over the past 48 hours, noting it had enforced its policies either by issuing warnings or permanently suspending users.

“We know many people believe we have not done enough to curb this type of behavior on Twitter. We agree,” Twitter said in the statement. “We are continuing to invest heavily in improving our tools and enforcement systems to better allow us to identify and take faster action on abuse as it’s happening and prevent repeat offenders.”

Jones, who is also a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live, publicly pondered over several tweets what would prompt people to “spew hate.”

“I used to wonder why some celebs don’t have Twitter accts now I know,” she wrote in one tweet. In a separate post, she added: “Twitter I understand you got free speech I get it. But there has to be some guidelines when you let [hate] spread like that.”

Donald Trump – “Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is; I believe that”

As if his documented hate for minorities isn’t enough, Donald Trump is now being quoted as calling backs “lazy.” The quote comes from one of Donald Trump’s top associates, John O’Donnell.

John O’Donnell, who was president of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino and later wrote a memoir about his experience, said Trump blamed financial difficulties partly on African American accountants.

“I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza — black guys counting my money!” O’Donnell’s book quoted Trump as saying. “I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Those are the kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else. . . . Besides that, I’ve got to tell you something else. I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is; I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”

O’Donnell said in an interview that he admonished Trump not to talk that way.

“You’re sitting there listening to him talk in stereotypes about black people being lazy and that it was a trait in his mind. And you just go, ‘Oh my God,’ ” O’Donnell said.

Trump told Playboy magazine that O’Donnell’s memoir was “probably true.” He told The Post earlier this year that the book was “fiction,” although he hadn’t read it. Trump said he fired O’Donnell, but O’Donnell said he quit.

Kansas Cop Threatens Random Black Woman and Her Daughter on Facebook

The threat came after five police officers were shot and killed in Dallas. The Kansas cop apparently trolled Facebook, found the woman’s profile and proceeded to threaten her and her little daughter.
“We’ll see how much her life matters soon,” the officer said. “Better be careful leaving your info open where she can be found 🙂 Hold her close tonight it’ll be the last time.”

The Overland Park police officer was fired Friday after the Texas woman reported the threat made the night before, shortly after a gunman opened fire on law enforcement officers during a Black Lives Matter demonstration, reported the Kansas City Star.

The comment was made from the officer’s personal Facebook account on photos of the woman’s daughter she had posted in 2014.

The woman has no idea how the officer found her Facebook profile or why he targeted her and her daughter.

“I had no clue who this guy was,” said the woman, LaNaydra Williams. “I was angry, and then I was scared.”

The police department launched an investigation Friday morning after Williams reported the comments, and the officer was fired hours later.

White Boys Almost Decapitated Black Girl – School Called it an “Accident”

An obvious racially motivated incident at a school in Waco Texas is being brushed off as “an accident” and “play” by a school. The photo above shows the result of one of the many “accidents” a 12-year-old black school girl suffered at the hands of a group of white school boys. Looking at the photo, one can say she was almost decapitated but according to the school there’s no need to worry, “accidents” happen.

The family is suing the school for what they claim is failure to ensure the safety of their child.

The family is seeking $3 million in damages from Live Oak Classical School for what they claim are repeated instances of the school failing to protect their daughter from violent and aggressive students.

The family has brought forward more than one instance of bullying from a group of white male students, but the school has defended the boys’ actions, saying that rather than being malicious, the boys simply involved the girl in “accidents” and “play.”

The most recent “accident” allegedly occurred in April on a school field trip when a group of boys wrapped a rope swing around the girl’s neck. The evidence of injury to the girl is clear in photos but the school is currently arguing the intent of the boys.

The girl’s parents were not notified when the incident occurred and when her parents saw her injuries, she was taken to the hospital where doctors notified police.

The school claims that it investigated the incident fully, talking with other students and faculty members before determining that “the injuries suffered by the student were the result of an accident.”

The family’s attorney has said that they believe the incident to have been “racially motivated” due to the “severity and specificity” of the injury the girl sustained.

D.L Hughley – “Donald Trump is a Racist!” – Video

In an interview with Joy Reid on MSNBC, comedian D.L Hughly got serious for a moment when the subject of Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, was mentioned, And before the Trump question was fully asked, Hughley answered, “Donlad Trump is a racist!”

Hughley then associated the rest of the Republican leadership with Trump’s racism, quoting House Speaker Paul Ryan as saying that Trump’s  basically a “textbook” racist. “And if you can say that,” Hughley continued about Ryan, “it’s because you’re not affected by racists.”

Hughley ended the piece on Trump saying that “if I’m in a car, I committed a crime and the dude in the car with me pretend that he don’t know, that ain’t going to work. You’re a co-conspirator. And if you know that he is a racist, you’re a co-racist. Simple as that!”

Donald Trump’s Racism Caused Senator Mark Kirk to Un-endorse Him

Yes, there were some politics involved in this un-endorsement, but at least the Illinois senator stepped up and did the right thing.

Kirk, facing a tough fight with Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) to keep his Senate seat, released a statement saying, “While I oppose the Democratic nominee, Donald Trump’s latest statements, in context with past attacks on Hispanics, women and the disabled like me, make it certain that I cannot and will not support my party’s nominee for President regardless of the political impact on my candidacy or the Republican Party.”

Marco Rubio – “I’m not sure I’m going to speak at the convention” On Trump’s Behalf

Although some Republicans remain totally blinded by the obvious racist remarks of Donald Trump in reference to the heritage of a federal judge, a small amount of them have seen the light. Marco Rubio, a former Republican presidential candidate, appears to be one of them, and he is apparently pulling away from the leader of his party.

Sen. Marco Rubio wants to make clear that if he speaks at the Republican National Convention this July, he will not be on stage as a Donald Trump surrogate.

“I may not be asked to speak, but if I am at a convention or any Republican gathering for that matter, what I would communicate is the things I believe in,” Rubio said Monday.

He said that no one has reached out to him about a potential speaking slot.
Rubio said his vision is, in some cases, “substantially different from what Donald is offering, and that’s why I’m not sure I’m going to be asked to speak at the convention.”

After Trump’s comments suggested that U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel should not preside over a case against Trump University due to his Mexican-American heritage, Rubio was among the GOP lawmakers saying that Trump should stop the rhetoric.

“I’ve never said I would stand and speak on behalf of someone else’s agenda,” Rubio said. “I would speak about the things I believe in, not somebody else’s platform or on behalf of anyone else for that matter.”
