…’cause after he left the island, it was impossible, just impossible for 3000 people to die! The holy paper-towel was supposed to soak all that up!
The Republicans’ mighty leader has spoken tweeted!
While Donald Trump foolishly wasted precious time attacking black players in the NFL for peacefully protesting the slayings of black people by police, former president Barack Obama continued his efforts to bring attention to the suffering in Puerto Rico.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the former president shared a video he made with other former presidents and asked Americans to donate.
“We’re expanding our efforts to help Puerto Rico & the USVI, where our fellow Americans need us right now. Join us at oneamericaappeal.org.”
The current occupant in the White House has been under criticism lately for manufacturing the NFL controversy while ignoring the Puerto Rico catastrophe. He got carried away last weekend while speaking at a rally in Alabama, and called on NFL owners to “fire” any “son of a bitch” that keeled in protest during the rendition of the National Anthem.
The man who took an oath to protect Americans and our rights to peacefully protest, who took an oath to uphold the Constitution clearly knows nothing about the Constitution and people’s First Amendment.

Just another dumb statement in the loooong and growing list of things a Republican presidential wanna-be has said. This time, Rick Santorum does the favor while explaining why Puerto Rico cannot be the 51st state.
In an interview with a San Juan newspaper, El Vocero, Santorum said English would have to be the “main language” if Puerto Rico were to become a state.
“As in any other state, you have to comply with this and any federal law. And that is that English has to be the main language,” Santorum told the paper. “There are other states with more than one language as is the case in Hawaii, but to be a state in the United States, English has to be the main language.”
There is no federal law designating English as the country’s official language, although some states and local governments have adopted such “English only” laws.
Puerto Rico is a U.S. commonwealth. Its residents are U.S. citizens but can only vote for president in the primaries, nor do they have a voting representative in Congress. Puerto Ricans will hold a referendum Nov. 6 on the island’s political status. Statehood, independence and no change in status are the three options. Regardless of the outcome, Congress must approve any change in status.
We all remember the massive uproar Republicans and the media had when Anthony Weiner was literally caught with his pants down. Republicans immediately harped on the bandwagon demanding that Weiner cover up and leave his job in the House of Representatives. So naturally, when a Republican is caught with his pants down showing his ass, other Republicans will immediately demand him to step down, right?
Wrong!
His name is Roberto Arango, and he is the Republican Senator from Puerto Rico. In 2004, Arango co-chaired the George W. Bush’s 2004 Puerto Rico campaign. Last Friday, naked pictures of him surfaced online. In one picture, found on a gay website, Arango is seen showing his cheeks, and we’re not talking about his pretty smile either.
But have no fear, Arango has a reason.
You know I’ve been losing weight. As I shed that weight, I’ve been taking pictures. I don’t remember taking this particular picture but I’m not gonna say I didn’t take it. I’d tell you if I remembered taking the picture but I don’t.
And you thought he was taking naked pictures of himself and posting them on gay websites. Take your mind out of the gutter! He said he was just documenting his weight-loss!
Of course! Don’t you take these type of pictures when you’re documenting your weight-loss?
