Seattle Quarterback Russell Wilson Shuts Down Fox News Host, On Fox News

Any chance to dig at the Obamas and you will find Fox News leading the way. Neil Cavuto thought he could throw in said dig by interviewing Super Bowl Champion, Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Russell Wilson. Wilson went on Fox News to discuss his partnering with United Way and their effort to help eliminate childhood hunger.

An effort that should have been acknowledged and praised, but at Fox, everything is politics and politics is dumping on an Obama. Cavuto tried and failed to get Wilson to talk bad about the Obamas, in this case, Michelle Obama.

“Well, Russell, what are we doing wrong then as a nation though with this urging them to eat healthy or set up these school lunch programs where they’re urged to eat healthy. I mean, Michelle Obama’s trying. Many argue that she’s getting to be too much of a food police mommy,” Cavuto said. “Be that as it may, whatever she’s doing isn’t working and I’m wondering what you’re doing that is working. What’s the difference?”

Russell shut him down!

“Well, the first lady, I have so much respect for her. I was able to meet her and the President, obviously, you know when we went to the Super Bowl, we won the Super Bowl and got to go to the White House,” Wilson said. “You know, I think at the end of the day, you know the kids, it’s tough to eat healthy. You know, I remember when I was a little kid I was always struggling trying to eat healthy.”

Cavuto moved on.

OMG – Is Fox No Longer a Republican Safe Zone? Michele Bachmann Finds Out – Video

So, Chris Matthews and MSNBC are trying to get Republicans to come on their network by appeasing them and repeating their talking points. And over at Fox, Republicans are slowly beginning to find out that Fox News may no longer be the safe haven for their lies and misinformation.

Megyn Kelly first took on Dick Cheney, calling him a liar when he spoke about Iraq, then she took on John Bolton questioning his lies and the role he played in the Iraq invasion.

Now Neil Cavuto interviewed Michele Bachmann and a shouting match ensued!

The interview had to do with the laughable Republican notion that President Obama is overstepping his authority by issuing Executive orders. John Boehner, as you would recall, just announced that he is planning to sue the president over said orders. Cavuto brought Bachmann on his Fox show on Wednesday and asked her about this lawsuit and whether this was the more efficient way to tackle this issue. He refered to Boehner’s suit as an “enormous waste of effort” and “a political football.”

Bachmann of course tried to defend the enormous waste of effort because, like a typical Republican, that is what she does. And so began the shouting match.
