Latest Poll – Jeb Bush Hits 3 Percent Support for 2016

And he’s still in it! When oh when will he bow out and save whatever is left of the Bush name? I don’t know. Maybe when he falls into the Bobby Jindal zero zone!

Jeb Bush has fallen to eighth place in the race for the 2016 GOP nomination, according to a new national poll released Tuesday.

Bush, once considered a front-runner in the race, was the first choice for President of only 3% of likely Republican voters surveyed in the University of Massachusetts survey, marking the former Florida governor’s worst poll levels since he announced his candidacy earlier this year.

Coming in first in the poll, conducted among 1,224 people from Nov. 5 to Nov. 13, was Donald Trump, who got the support of 31%.

Ben Carson and Ted Cruz came in second and third, with 22% and 13%, respectively.

Donald Trump – More Guns Would Have Been the Answer in Paris – Video

The ironic thing is, the terrorists use of guns caused the most carnage in Paris last weekend, but according to Donald Trump, the leading Republican presidential candidate, more guns on the scene would have been the answer. It’s the usual Republican answer – More guns is the answer to everything.

Speaking to CNN on Saturday, Trump said;

“When you look at Paris — you know the toughest gun laws in the world, Paris — nobody had guns but the bad guys. Nobody had guns. Nobody. They were just shooting them one by one and then they (security forces) broke in and had a big shootout and ultimately killed the terrorists.

“You can say what you want, but if they had guns, if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry, it would’ve been a much, much different situation.”

Then on Monday at a rally in Knoxville, Tennessee, Trump doubled down on the favorite NRA talking point;

“You have the horrible attack. And by the way, Paris is one of the places in the world that’s toughest on guns… If 20 of those people — you don’t need more, but could’ve been more, could’ve been all of them. But if 20 of those people that were shot, viciously — and if you heard the stories, ‘Come on over, boom, come on over, boom, come here, boom,” one after another after another, hundreds of people, plenty are dying and will be dead. Now, if you had 25 people in there that had guns, okay? It would have been a totally different story, folks. There would have been the shootout at the O.K. Corral.”

Jeb Bush Flips – Now He’s Concerned about ALL Syrian Refugees – Video

What a difference a couple of days make… and a smack down from the President of the United States helped.

Just Sunday in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Jeb Bush fell in line with the other Republican presidential candidates demanding Syrian refugees remain in Syria where they are being slaughtered by ISIS and the Syrian regime. In that CNN interview however, Jeb didn’t close his heart from all Syrian refugees, he was willing to allow only the Christian refugees access to the United States.

“There are a lot of Christians in Syria that have no place now,” Jeb said, while talking about whether we should allow refugees here in the United States. “They’ll [Christians] be either executed or imprisoned, either by Assad or by ISIS. We should focus our efforts as it relates to the refugees for the Christians that are being slaughtered.”

In other words, a Religious test to decide who we save and who gets slaughtered.

President Obama had something to say about that!

“That’s shameful,”the President said. “That’s not American. That’s not who we are…We don’t have religious tests to our compassion. We do not close our hearts to these victims of such violence and somehow start equating the issue of refugees with the issue of terrorism.”

Those words from the president apparently had some effect on Jeb and he admitted in the interview that he thought the president was talking directly to him. So with that, the interviewers asked Jeb if he felt refugees – not just Christian refugees, but Muslim refugees as well – should be allowed in the United States?

Jeb offered his new position – “the answer to this is not to ban people from coming” but “to lead, to resolve the problem in Syria.” He then went on to say, “I don’t think we should eliminate our support for refugees,” Bush added. “It’s been a noble tradition in our country for many years.”

Nice flip Bush, nice flip! Have you met Mitt Romney?

Charlie Sheen – “I am in fact HIV-positive”

Charlie Sheen went on The Today Show and made the confession, saying “I am in fact HIV-positive” and that he knew about his condition four years ago.

In the interview with Matt Lauer, Sheen said;

“I’m here to admit that I am in fact HIV-positive, And I have to put a stop to this onslaught, this barrage of attacks and of sub-truths and very harmful and mercurial stories that are about the (alleged) threatening the health of so many others, which couldn’t be farther from the truth.”

“It’s a hard three letters to absorb,” he said. “It’s a turning point in one’s life.”

He said he the diagnosis came after he suffered a series of migraines.

“After a battery of tests … they walked in the room and said, ‘Boom, here’s what’s going on,’ ” Sheen said.

He said he revealed the diagnosis to people he thought he trusted, but some of them demanded money to keep the information to themselves. He paid those people “in the millions,” he said.

“We’re talking about shakedowns,” he said. “I’ve paid those people — not that many.”

One of those people, he said was a prostitute who entered his bathroom, took a cellphone picture of his medication and threatened to sell the image to tabloids.

Asked if he would continue to pay the people he’d been paying, he said: “Not after today, I’m not.”
