Breaking: The U.S Has Began Bombing ISIS Targets in Syria

The United States launched airstrikes in Syria against ISIS targets, sources tell NBC News. The U.S. military plans to strike up to 20 targets — logistics, fuel and weapons depots; training sites; troop encampments; command and control sites; and headquarters for the Sunni fighters.

The U.S. military will deploy manned and unmanned air assets, including F-22s, B-1 bombers, F-16s, F-15s and F/A-18s. The aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush is at the ready in the Persian Gulf, and the USS Arleigh Burke, a guided missile destroyer that fires Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs), is in the Red Sea.

Kissing Republican Congressman Continues to ‘Use’ His Wife – Ad

The kissing Republican congressman. Remember him? He was the one caught on video tape kissing one of his subordinates, all the time being happily married I supposed, with a wife and kids at home.

After the video went public, the congressman, Rep. Vance McAllister, initially said he was not going to run for reelection. But he had a change of heart and his wife is clearly his biggest supporter.

“I’m lucky to have been blessed with a great family and a wonderful Christian wife,” McAllister says in his ad. And his wife was also happy and “blessed” with a husband like McAllister.

“I’m blessed to have a husband who owns up to his mistakes and never gives up,” she said, “always fighting for the good people of Louisiana.”

Now who knows? Maybe the kissing Congressman is a changed man and has promised his wife that she is “blessed” to have him as a husband. It is reasonably easier to change when the woman he was caught kissing had her marriage fall to pieces and undoubtedly moved on. And maybe his wife realized his mistake and decided to give him another chance.

Or, maybe this is just politics, and the best way for this congressman to win his seat is to show the world that he and his wife are of one accord, that they’re on the same page, that they can sit close enough to make an ad. Yea, I think that’s it. Using his wife to win a political seat.

“Blessed!”

Man Who Breached White House Security Had 800 Rounds of Ammunition

How dangerous was Omar J. Gonzalez?

The man who ran all the way into the White House last Saturday was ready for war with White House security. He has a record and has had numerous run-ins with the police.

According to information that came out in his first court appearance on Monday, Omar J. Gonzales, who did multiple tours in Iraq, was stopped by police in July. When he was searched, authorities found a map of the White House and a machete on him. Then again in August, Gonzalez was spotted walking in the vicinity of the White House with two ratchets on his possession. He was questioned and allowed to go on his merry way. Then On Saturday, he made his way into the White House with a knife in his pocket and 800 rounds of ammunition in his car.

According to court proceedings, Assistant U.S. Attorney David Mudd, said Gonzalez was a danger to the President.

Asked by reporters if he has confidence in the Secret Service, President Obama said that he is grateful for the sacrifice they are making on his behalf and the behalf of his family.

Sacrifice? A man who had 800 rounds of ammunition made his way into your home with a knife in his pocket. Sacrifice? Really?

Jeeze!

This Muslim Expresses Her True Feelings on ISIS – PIC

I never thought there was a proper comparison for The Westboro Baptist Church, but now that this Muslim has dared ventured out on a limb and compared ISIS to the hate-mongers in Westboro, I can absolutely see the connections. They’re both the same. Beheading their ‘enemies’ as in ISIS, or rejoicing when others are killed as in the Baptiste Church, hate is hate and these two groups are masters of it.

Reporter Quits On Live Broadcast – “F*ck it, I quit” – Video

Was it the cannabis? Was she high? We don’t know for sure, but whatever made this reporter quit her job on live television with an expletive, is definitely one for the ages.

Charlo Greene, a reporter for Anchorage-based television station KTVA, revealed that she was at the center of the story she had just covered, telling viewers that she is the owner of an area cannabis club.

“Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska.”

And then came the profane, sure-to-be-viral on-air resignation.

“And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but: Fuck it, I quit,” she said, giving a final shrug and walking off the set.

The woman who served as anchor of that night’s telecast was left reeling.

“Alright, we apologize for that. We’ll be — we’ll be right back. Pardon for us,” the clearly flustered anchor said.

Congressman Peter King – White House Breach is “Absolutely Inexcusable”

It’s refreshing to know that there are some in Congress who are demanding something be done to make sure the this doesn’t happen again. Peter King, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, spoke on Fox News Sunday and called the total lapse by the Secret Service “absolutely inexcusable,” and he suggested a congressional hearing into the breach of security be done.

“This is absolutely inexcusable! This demands a full investigation, an investigation as to what happened, why it happened and what’s being done to make sure it never happens again.”

“He could have had a body bomb; he could have [had] a vest on! There can be a lot of conspiracies against a president, a lot of complex assassination plots. This is the most basic, the most simple type of procedure, and how anyone, especially in these days of ISIS, and we’re concerned about terrorist attacks, someone could actually get into the White House without being stopped is inexcusable.”

Needless to say, I disagree with just about everything Peter King has to say. He’s a Republican, so there. But in this case, I am in agreeance with the man. I am pretty shocked!. That someone can jump the fence and be allowed to go on a Sunday jog casually across the North Lawn, up to the doors of the White House and then enter the building is freaking mind-boggling!

According to the response from the Secret Service, the man wasn’t taken down because he didn’t appear to have a weapon. Huh? So that allows him free passage into the most secure place in the nation?

The man, later identified as 42 year old Omar J. Gonzales from Texas had a knife in his pocket when he entered the doors of the White House. Can you imagine if he was a suicide bomber?

Absolutely inexcusable indeed!

ISIS Releases 49 Hostages

Dozens of Turkish hostages abducted by Islamist militants in northern Iraq were freed Saturday after three months in captivity, CNN reports.

Militants from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria raided the Turkish consulate in June and seized 49 people, including Consul General Ozturk Yilmaz.

Others abducted included his family, children and other citizens who were at the consulate in Mosul at the time, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

Of the total, three were local employees and 46 were Turkish citizens. All were freed and the latter are now in their home country, Turkish authorities said.

It’s unclear how they were freed, but Erdogan thanked Turkish intelligence officials in a statement on his website.

“I thank … every single member of the national intelligence agency from the director to the field operatives,” he said. “I congratulate them for their big success from the bottom of my heart.”
