Mitt Romney Got Giggles, Chuckles and Boos From The NAACP

Mitt Flip Romney took a trip today, apparently got lost and found himself in-front of an unfamiliar audience, the NAACP – The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Okay, maybe he didn’t get lost and we all know his trip was planned, but the audience was still unfamiliar to Mr. Romney and his awkward speech and frequent booing from the audience highlighted this unfamiliarity.

One part of Romney’s speech to the group that is getting a lot of play right now was when Romney told the audience, “I’m going to eliminate every nonessential expensive program I can find. That includes Obamacare, ” – the President’s signature policy that has growing support among the American people and the poor and middle class in general.

But what was strange and what got a lot of attention was not so much the booing, it was Romney’s expression as the booing was happening. As if relishing the moment, Romney stood on the stage with a sly smile on his face for an extended period, nodding his head ever so slightly as if to say, “yes, boo me. Boo me!”

The whole scene looked as if it was a message for another audience, like his Republican base maybe. It seemed as if Mitt Romney wanted his Republican supporters to see him as a man who is serious about “repealing Obamacare,” – a law they have voted to repeal 33 times since it was sworn into law in 2010. It seemed as if Romney wanted his base to know that he was willing to go in-front of an audience who supports the law and tell them he will repeal it.

Other areas of his speech got chuckles and giggles mixed with some more boos from the audience. One of those areas was when Romney told the audience that he would be a better president for them than President Obama is.

No, we are not saying that President Barack Obama (he is black you know) is the only candidate to represent the black community. The black community has voted religiously for white politicians for decades. What caused the chuckles in the audience I believe, was Romney’s words – reminiscent of other things Romney has said, like “I love American cars,” and “the trees are the right height here” while talking to a Detroit audience. Or when he said, “I am learning to say y’all and I like grits, and things,” while talking to a Mississippi audience earlier this year.

This particular NAACP audience knew that Romney was being Romney, so they giggled, they chuckled and some even booed. This audience knew Romney was pandering to them for votes.

California Pastor Says “God Wants Ron Paul To Be President”

A California pastor says God has personally told him that Christians must vote for Rep. Ron Paul (R-CA) to be the next president of the United States.

“God wants Ron Paul to be President,” USA Christian Ministries Pastor Steven Andrew said in a statementreleased on Wednesday. “Paul is the only Christian still running who beat Obama in polls, but will Christians and pastors obey God?”

“We must obey God and vote for Christians.”

Andrew believes that President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are not qualified for office because they “are deceived and would seek Satan because they refuse to make Jesus Lord.”

“Obama says to leave living babies to die who survive botched abortions, covers Jesus’ name and cross at Georgetown, fights unjust wars that result in Muslims persecuting Christians, and mocks God and our Founding Fathers’ Christian laws,” he explained.

“Jesus Christ is the second Person of the Godhead but, as a Mormon, Romney thinks: Jesus is a created being, the spirit brother of Lucifer; that men become Gods and that Christians are inferior people. Christians know Mormonism is Satanic,” Andrew added.

Hey, Democrats Do Dumb Stuff Too

We have all heard of the RINOs – Republicans In Name Only, and we have went out of our way to bring them to you… free of charge. But when we come across the DINOs – Democrats In Name Only, people who call themselves Democrats then do things we expect a Republican to do, well… we’ll point them out too.

We’ll bring you to Scranton Pennsylvania and allow us to introduce you to a Democratic Mayor name Chris Doherty. Doherty and the City Counsel cannot figure out how to close a $16.8 million budget gap, so Doherty decides the best way to raise revenue would be to cut the pay of Firefighters and other public employees to minimum wage. Although a local judge ordered Doherty not to cut wages, the DINO went ahead and reduced the public employees wages anyway.

Doherty last week ignored a court order and cut the pay of about 400 city workers to the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour. The Democratic mayor said it was all the cash-strapped city of more than 76,000 could afford, promising to restore full pay once finances are stabilized.

“It’s incredible,” the unions’ attorney, Thomas Jennings, said Tuesday. “I’ve never had a public official just say, ‘I’m not going to obey a court order. I’m not even going to try. He can’t tell me what to do.'”

We can all agree that deficits need to be reduced and even eliminated, but something is terribly wrong when the only way out of a financial hole is to put the cost on the backs of the hard-working middle class while the rich goes scott-free!
