Conservative Group Forms Website Called “Not Mitt Romney”

Next up for the Conservatives and Republicans? Putting an end to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, or trying to put an end to it. A group of hard right conservatives, including Ali A. Akbar – Republican consultant at the Vice and Victory Agency, John Hawkins, founder of Right Wing News and Matt MacKowiak,  consultant and president of Potomac Strategy Group LLC., have come together to create a website for Conservatives called, NotMittRomney.com

The group’s main concern with Mitt Romney is that he is too flaky, blows too easily in the wind from one position to another, usually in regards to the same topic. Some of the points they list in are;

Romney was pro-abortion until a decade ago. He is now pro-life.

Romney was pro-amnesty in 2006, saying about the McCain-Kennedy bill, “Those [immigrants] that are here paying taxes and not taking government benefits should begin a process towards application for citizenship.” He now opposes amnesty and attacks other candidates on their immigration records.

Romney broke with a tradition followed by his three immediate Republican predecessors and refused to sign the Americans For Tax Reform’s “no tax” pledge, which his spokesman then called “government by gimmickry” in 2002 when running for governor of Massachusetts. As governor, he raised taxes by hundreds of millions of dollars, according to the New York Times. In 2007, once he decided to run for president, he signed the pledge.

Romney was not a registered Republican until December 1993. He has admitted voting in the Democratic primary in Massachusetts in 1992 for Paul Tsongas for president, rather than voting for Vice President George H.W. Bush. In 2005, Romney claimed that Ronald Reagan is a personal hero.

Romney opposed the Brady Bill in 1994. But in August 2006, when seeking the Republican nomination for president, he signed up for a lifetime membership in the NRA, because, as he said to an audience in Derry, N.H.: “I’m after the NRA’s endorsement.”

On Jan. 10, 2007, Romney said, “I have a gun of my own; I go hunting myself” on the Glenn and Helen Show. Four days later, Romney admitted at a gun show that he does not personally own any guns.

And the list goes on.

Herman Cain To Woman Number 4 – Say Hello To My Little Friend

Woman number 4 has a name. She is Sharon Bialek and in 1997, she went to Herman Cain trying to get her job back after being laid off. But Cain had other plans for Mrs. Bialek – an introduction to his crotch!

Bialek, a Chicagoan, had raised money for the restaurant association before being terminated in 1997, Allred said. When she lost her job, she reached out to Cain for help.

“Mr. Cain instead decided to try to provide her with his idea of a stimulus package,” Allred said.

Bialek detailed Cain’s sexual overture, explaining that he spent money on a palatial hotel suite for her at the time of their meeting. When they saw each other in the evening, Bialek said he his hand on her leg, “reached for [her] genitals” and pushed her head toward his crotch.

Oh Mr. Cain, you are so smooth. I’m afraid to ask how many women you got this way, cause I believe there’s a woman number 5,6, 7 etc.

And while I write this, a diehard Republican just said to me, “I don’t know why, but I am drawn to the man even more. I like Herman Cain.”

Surprised? I’m not!

Playa Herman Cain For President – Of the Playboy Mansion

The count goes up. It’s now woman number 4 accusing Herman Cain of sexual harassment. If this keeps up, Herman Cain will not be running for president of the United States, but president of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion.

A fourth woman accusing Herman Cain of sexual harassment during his time at the National Restaurant Assn. plans to go public with her allegations at a news conference Monday in New York.

The woman is represented by powerhouse Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred. Allred had a similar news conference earlier this year on behalf of one of the women who was enmeshed in the Twitter scandal that brought down New York Rep. Anthony Weiner.

Allred’s office said the woman “is not one of the three women who have previously been reported to have alleged sexual harassment by the Republican presidential candidate ” and that she will be “the first to give her name and to speak out about details of what she alleges occurred between her and Cain.”

Michele Bachmann Calls Herman Cain Inconsistent

In a radio interview airing today, Michele Bachmann – one of many Republicans trying to beat President Obama in 2012 – expressed her concerns about her fellow Republican and front-runners in the nomination process, Herman Cain.

Answering questions about Cain’s sexual harassment allegations, Bachmann said;

Now this is significant. There has been 10 instances in the last month where he’s changed his positions on significant issues. On the issue of pro-life, he said the government shouldn’t intervene to protect life and then he switched and said ‘no they should.’ He said he wasn’t for the marriage amendment, then he said he was. Then he said that he would allow the terrorists to go out of Guantanamo Bay. In other words he would release the terrorists. Then he changed his mind and said ‘no.’ He just said this week that China was developing a nuclear weapon. They’ve had one for 47 years. He said that 9-9-9 would be equitable and fair, then he changed it to 9-0-9 after people called out his errors.

… That’s what the real issue is with Herman Cain’s campaign: the fact that he’s switched his positions when he found out that they weren’t acceptable by the people who were voting. That should really give people pause. Everyone loves him, who doesn’t? He has a great personality, but this is the leader of the free world that we’re talking about … We need to know that our President of the United States is going to go in there and do bold things and know what they’re talking about and be consistent. That’s what I bring that no other candidate brings. That’s why I am set apart and it’s why we can’t settle.

In other news, Michele Bachmann just realized that China already have nuclear weapons, thanks to Herman Cain’s ignorant claim that the Chinese are trying to develop nuclear capabilities.

Did You “Take Your Money And Run” Last Saturday?

November 5th was officially “take your money and run” day. A day set aside for the people to hit the big Corporate banks where it hurts most, in the vaults. “Take your money and run” came about after Bank Of America decided to create a $5.00 monthly fee for any customer deciding to access their money by using their bank card.

The impact of Saturday’s “take your money” event is not yet known, but some very interesting details are coming out since the greed of big banks manifested itself in Bank Of America’s decision. A study by the Credit Union National Association shows that from September 29th to November 4th, hundreds of thousands have joined Credit Unions.

At least 650,000 consumers across the nation have joined credit unions in the past four weeks, reflecting consumers’ reactions to rising fees at banks, according to a survey by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
They have joined credit unions since Sept. 29, when Bank of America (BofA)  unveiled its plans to charge $5 a month for debit cards. The public outcry the past month has forced BofA and other big banks to reconsider their debit fees.

Americans finally taking matters into their own hands? That’s what this country is all about!

The Occupy Movement Forming A Political Party

If the Teaparty could be misguided into forming a party to protect the rich and their investments, why can’t the Occupy Movement form a party to protect the middle class. The leaders of the Ohio Occupy Movement is trying to take the movement to that next level.

Spokesman Tyrone Givens tells The Associated Press that he and other Cincinnati-based protesters traveled to New York’s Occupy site to pitch the idea. He says the party is vetting six potential candidates for local office from Ohio, New York and Kentucky.

The party’s website lists a 10-point platform, with items including reversing the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision granting corporations the right to spend an unlimited amount of money on political campaigns, limiting the influence of lobbyists and prosecuting those responsible for the recent recession.

Givens says the ultimate goal is to elect members of the “Occupation Party” to Congress.

After 3rd Sexual Harassment Allegation, Cain Loses Support With Base

So it seems that Republicans have a limit after-all. Apparently, two sexual abuse cases will get your poll numbers and donations increased among your Republican base, but if a third woman comes forth and makes the makes sexual harassment allegations, then Republicans will slowly begin to abandon your cause.

Herman Cain is seeing that abandonment play out in his bid to become the next big Republican’s book salesman, or the Republican nominee to go against President Obama in 2012.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Allegations that Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain sexually harassed women in the 1990s have begun to damage his bid for the White House, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

The poll showed the percentage of Republicans who view Cain favorably dropped 9 percentage points, to 57 percent from 66 percent a week ago.

Among all registered voters, Cain’s favorability declined 5 percentage points, to 32 percent from 37 percent.

The survey represents the first evidence that sexual harassmentclaims dating from Cain’s time as head of the National Restaurant Association have taken a toll on his presidential campaign.

A majority of respondents, 53 percent, believe sexual harassment allegations against Cain are true despite his denials. Republicans were less likely to believe they are true, with 39 percent thinking they are accurate.

Well, we were tricked and we’ll be the first to admit it. After the first two sexual harassment accusations came to light, Herman Cain saw his biggest fund-raising rewards since announcing his candidacy. Republicans just loved the man and nothing he said or did, would change their minds. They wanted him to be president.

Then the third woman came forward and, based on what happened with woman #1 and #2 , we wrote a blog saying that Cain’s stock price would go up with his Republican base, as they just adore the sexual abuser.

So now we have these new poll numbers and based on what they show, Republicans are rethinking their support for the Herman. So – we were wrong.  There is a limit to their support.

But then again, it’s still early in the process. Maybe a fourth sexual accusation against the Republican candidate will propel him right back onto the pedestal. Waiting…!

Brother From Another Mother? Koch And Cain Means ‘Koch-Cain’ For America

Herman Cain is setting the record straight and he wants the media, in fact, he wants the world to know! We have all suspected this before, but no one actually made the obvious connection. We see slight psychological resemblance, but now we know for a fact: Herman Cain and the Koch brothers are family. Different mothers, but same father. They are “brothers from another mother.”

Speaking at a conservative event on Friday, the Presidential Republican candidate explains the relationship between him and the Kochs.

“I’m proud to know the Koch brothers. I’m very proud to know the Koch brothers. They make it sound like that we have had time to go fishing together, hunting together, skiing together, golfing together,” Cain told the audience. “Just so I can clarify this to the media, this may be a new announcement for the media: I am the Koch brothers’ brother from another mother. Yes. I am their brother from another mother, and proud of it. You see, the reason that I am running for president, folks, is because I want to unite the United States of America, not divide the United States of America.”

A report by the Center For American Progress Action Fund finds that the billionaire brothers – owners of Koch Industries, a corporation dealing in array of industries ranging from oil and gas, minerals, chemicals, refineries and forestry among others – are using their wealth to bankroll “the right winged, including the Teaparty.” Their main objective, according to the report is “gutting government oversight and electing candidates who oppose government regulation, especially in the oil industry.” The lack of regulations the report claims, directly helps the bottom line of  Koch Industries.

Which brings us back to Herman Cain and why his “brothers from another mother” association with the Koch’s is so important. Knowing what we know about the Koch brothers and their wish for America – no government and no regulations – what will a Cain presidency mean for America?

You like ‘Koch-Cain?’

In Rick Perry’s Texas, D.N.A. Evidence May Not Be Enough

His life is scheduled to end next week through lethal injection, but DNA evidence could prove that Mr. Hank Skinner did not commit the crimes he is condemned to die for.

His lawyers have requested the DNA be provided for testing, but the prosecution is refusing.

Welcome to Rick Perry’s Texas!

With just days to go before Hank Skinner is set to die by lethal injection, his lawyers are battling to persuade the federal and state courts to intervene to delay the execution and force prosecutors to hand over the materials for testing. The legal fight over the items has already lasted a decade, but time is now running out.

Skinner, 49, was put on death row in 1995 for the multiple murders of his live-in girlfriend Twila Busby and her two adult sons. He has consistently maintained his innocence, saying that he was virtually unconscious on the night of the murders having consumed a mixture of vodka and codeine.

I though Republicans were pro-life.  If  DNA evidence could prove someone’s innocence, why would they be against him living?

Chicago Traders Throw McDonalds Applications At Occupiers

And you thought the traders in Chicago couldn’t stoop any lower. You thought that after placing a huge sign in their office windows saying, “we are the 1%,” these heartless parasites wouldn’t be able to offend the 99%, the Chicago Occupiers protesting outside their building any worse.

Well think again!

In yet another example of the insensitivity of the rich towards the middle class, Chicago Traders once again went to their windows and threw McDonalds’ applications down to the Occupy Chicago protesters below.

The actions of the Traders caused Occupy Chicago to tweet; “Real class acts. This week, it’s McDonald’s job applications they litter from the windows. Soulless place.”

These same traders belong to a financial industry that, through greed and market manipulation, contributed to the present economic crisis. And thanks to the American taxpayers, bailouts were allocated to traders with the hopes that a strong financial sector will eventually amount to a strong middle class, something Republicans call trickle-down economics.

This America, is what the Republicans mean when they say “Trickle-Down Economics.”

Republicans Blocked Yet Another Part of Obama’s Job Bill

This story is becoming old. For the third time, congressional Republicans blocked another part of President Obama’s Jobs Bill.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans in the Senate Thursday dealt President Barack Obama the third in a string of defeats on his stimulus-style jobs agenda, blocking a $60 billion measure for building and repairing infrastructure like roads and rail lines.

Supporters of the failed measure said it would have created tens of thousands of construction jobs and lifted the still-struggling economy. But Republicans unanimously opposed it for its tax surcharge on the wealthy and spending totals they said were too high.

The 51-49 vote fell well short of the 60 votes required under Senate procedures to start work on the bill. Every Republican opposed the president, as did Democrat Ben Nelson of Nebraska and former Democrat Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., who still aligns with the party.

Although they try, these Republicans still cannot keep the American people down. Reports out today found that the unemployment rate fell, from 9.1% to 9%.  A small drop, but given the Republican’s goal of making this president fail by destroying the middle class, any reduction in the unemployment figures are welcomed news.
