Ted Cruz’s SuperPac Slams Marco Rubio as The Absentee Senator – Video

ab·sen·tee
ˌabsənˈtē/
noun
 1. a person who is expected or required to be present at a place or event but is not.

A superpac affiliated with Ted Cruz is slamming Marco Rubio in a new ad as an absentee Senator who has done nothing since being elected to congress. But, according to the ad, Marco looks good on TV!

I’m not going to say how Rubio looks on TV, but the part about him being awol from his job in the senate is a documented fact. And now, the man who can’t even do his job in the senate, is running to be the next president of the United States!

Laughable!

Black American Seeking Refuge in Canada Because of Police Brutality – Video

It has come down to this!

Kyle Lydell Canty, 30, crossed into B.C.’s Lower Mainland in early September of 2015, telling border agents that he was here to visit and take photographs, but once in Vancouver decided he would apply to remain as a refugee.

“I’m in fear of my life because I’m black,” he told IRB member Ron Yamauchi in a hearing on October 23rd in Vancouver. “This is a well-founded fear.”

Canty argues that black people are “being exterminated at an alarming rate” in the U.S. and included examples such as the shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri and the death of Eric Garner in New York City at the hands of police.

Canty represented himself at the hearing, which he applied to have made public, and was commended by Yamauchi at its conclusion, who said Canty had put together a “well prepared case … and argued it as well as it could be.”

Canty submitted a significant evidence package to the IRB including videos, media reports and the UNHCR’s handbook on determining refugee status.

In order for someone to be called a refugee in Canada, they must prove they are in danger in their home country, “that you’re someone with a well-founded fear of persecution in your country, based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group.” said Melissa Anderson. who speaks for the IRB.

Born in New York, Canty has lived in six different states before arriving in Canada, a country he says he’s never been to before.

Ted Cruz – A President Must Begin His Day “on his knees” Before God – Video

It’s always amazing to me how religious these Republican politicians become around election time. Senator Ted Cruz is obviously trying to win the Republican’s nomination for president, so pandering to the religious base in his party is a necessary part of his game plan.

Speaking in an interview with conservative Pastor Kevin Swanson at the National Religious Liberties Conference, Ted Cruz told the crowd what they wanted to hear and in so doing, Cruz hopes to get a rise in the polls.

Swanson asked Cruz, “How important is it for the President of the United States to fear God and what does that mean to you?”

“Any president who doesn’t begin every day on his knees isn’t fit to be commander-in-chief of this nation,” Cruz stated.

The pastor said “amen” and the audience applauded in approval.

Chris Christie Vetoes Bill that Would Have Voting Easier in New Jersey

You did it Christie! You finally figured out a way to improve your poll numbers among the Republican voter. With your veto, which will make it harder to vote in New Jersey, the Republican base is sure to shower you with some new found adoration!

The measure, known as the Democracy Act, was passed in June by the Democratic-controlled legislature, and was strongly backed by voting rights advocates. It would have guaranteed two weeks of in-person early voting, including on weekends, would have automatically registered New Jerseyans to vote when they got a driver’s license or state ID, and would have established a system of online voter registration.

Christie’s decision sparked an outpouring of criticism from voting rights and good government groups.

“Automatic registration is good for the country, and good for New Jersey,” said Myrna Pérez, deputy director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law, which had pushed for the legislation. “The Democracy Act would have made our registration lists more accurate and up to date, and voting more flexible and convenient. We are extremely disappointed Governor Christie chose to veto a bill with these kinds of proven benefits. Instead of passing laws that make it harder for Americans to vote, lawmakers must work to modernize our voting system for the 21st century.”

Christie’s move wasn’t unexpected. Soon after the bill passed, he expressed skepticism about it on his radio show: “Is it really too much to ask to ask somebody to fill out a form to execute their right to vote?” he asked. “Is it really so much to ask people that if they’re in the state that they show up on Election Day and vote? The polls are open from six in the morning til eight in the evening.”

Vivica A Fox Implies 50 Cent is Gay

Shocking news to many, but to Vivica A Fox – the ex-wife of 50 Cent – it is quite possible that her ex hubby rapper is gay.

Fox was talking to Andy Cohen and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live when the conversation went to Fox’s upcoming appearance on Empire and the fact that her ex husband, 50 Cent, had some things to say about why Empire is losing its high ratings.

“What were your thoughts when 50 Cent blamed the season ratings dip on ‘gay stuff’?” Cohen asked.

“First of all, you know the pot called the kettle black is all I’m saying,” Fox responded.

Shocked at what she just heard, Burruss exclaimed, “That was some tea! That was shade. That was major shade.”

Cohen asked Fox, 51, if she was implying that the 40-year-old rapper might be gay, but she clarified that “he’s not.”

Then she added, “We had a great time. He just seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear.” She also said that a magazine cover with 50 Cent and Soulja Boy raised some questions for her.

Not long after WWHL aired, 50 Cent responded to his ex-girlfriend’s comments in a NSFW way. “Oh No!!! Now she things I’m gay because I let her lick my A**. LMAO,” he wrote. “Wait, I didn’t want her to, she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 Shades of Grey.”

Soulja Boy also Instagrammed about Fox, writing: “Everybody hit up this cougar..she’s single and ready to mingle …1-800-GrannyDesperateForAttention extension I’mWashedUp.”
