Laughable that Sarah Palin Blames Obama for America’s “Open Borders”

In one if her regular rambling pieces produced by her “network,” Sarah Palin stole 3 minutes and 23 seconds of my precious time “talking” about an issue that doesn’t even exist – the apparent “open borders” problem that Barack Obama brought with him when he commandeered the White House.

No, seriously. According to Sarah Palin and the rest of her party, America’s borders are wide “open,” like curtains blowing in the winds allowing anyone to just stroll in and out as they pleased. No border patrol agents, no Immigration Customs Enforcement or ICE as we would imagined them called if they ever existed, just a vast opened landmass where anyone can come and steal our jobs.

Said Palin,  “we can’t continue to allow unrestricted, illegal immigration through our open borders and uninforced, over stayed visas.”

That statement was said by Palin after she showed a clip of two countries using our “open borders” to gain free, unrestricted access to the United States – Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Yes, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. These two countries are apparently allowing their people to travel to the United States because our custom agents are all on permanent vacations, and the Border Patrol agents are figments of our imagination, and the Saudis and Pakistanis are free to roam our borders stealing our jobs.

Sidenote: There are studies proving that our borders have never been more secure. And there are studies proving that under this president, there have been an increase in deportations. These are facts and like we all know, facts have a liberal bias. So Palin and her kind will continue preaching their lies. There is unfortunately, an audience for the nonsense.

Me? I want my 3 minutes and 23 seconds back!

An Election Cycle Based on Lies means The American People Lose… Again

An election season void of any real debate on any real issue, simply comes down to this: the best liar, wins.

Who pointed the most fingers, who had the biggest megaphone and the most passionate liars on the biggest networks to push their message, who had the most donations from the most secret donors each with their own motives for getting their politician elected.

These are the engins that pushed this year’s midterm election cycle, and lost in all the melee are the issues that matter to the voters.

After the dusts have settled and the votes are counted we will know. The final vote count will tell us who had the loudest megaphone, the best liars, the biggest network. In this cycle it does not matter what your feelings were about health care,  or the deficit, or ISIS or the budget or immigration. Because the chance that these issues survived this election cycle is minimal.

So some will win and they will celebrate, oblivious to the issues that matter, but mindful of the donors they’ll represent.

And these “winners” will sit in office for the next few years planning their path for the next re-election. They will cuddle up with their secret donors and they will cultivate their friendship with the networks. And the vicious cycle of lies and misinformation will continue with the losers being the American people and the issues that matters to them.

American democracy. You just gotta love it!

Ruling – Officers Who Shot and Killed Darrien Hunt Did Nothing Wrong

Yes, he carried a toy sword in the streets of Utah. But was that a crime punishable by death? Wait. Lemme ask that question this way. Was carrying a toy sword a crime punishable by an execution squad, firing and killing the victim, hitting him in the back as he ran for his life?

That was the outcome for Darrien Hunt when he walked a street in Utah with the sword – in Utah, that is not a crime – and the Utah police disposed of Mr. Hunt as if he were a rabid animal.

And now this: It was ruled that the officers who took Darrien’s life, did nothing wrong.

Back in September, two Saratoga Springs police officers fired a total of seven shots, Utah County Attorney Jeff R. Buhman told reporters, hitting Darrien Hunt, 22, six times — at least once in the back as he ran away. Buhman’s office investigated the Sept. 10 incident for nearly two months.

Buhman told reporters in a televised news conference that the officers had stopped to talk to Hunt, who was carrying the sword in public — which is not a crime in Utah — and that Hunt lunged “abruptly and without apparent provocation.”

The officers opened fire and may have wounded Hunt, who fled with the officers in pursuit. One of them, Cpl. Matthew Schauerhamer, shot Hunt from behind because he feared that Hunt would attack other people, Buhman said.

The shooting, Buhman decided, “was reasonable given Mr. Hunt’s prior unreasonable” attack on the officers.

Hunt was a resident of Saratoga Springs, which is about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City.

Hunt’s family rejected the county attorney’s decision and promised to file a civil lawsuit over the shooting.
