New York Assemblyman Sent Staffer Video of Himself Receiving Oral Sex

Okay, so this is a change. I’m usually pointing out the so-called family values of Republican politicians accused of various sexual crimes from rape to child pornography. But this sickness is no respecter of political affiliation. So with that said, this is a story of a Democratic Assemblyman in New York, who allegedly sent videos of himself doing various sexual acts to his female staffers.

Three female former aides working under 62-year-old Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak—who, naturally, is married and has children—have filed a notice of claim detailing sexual harassment allegations against him. According to the employees—Annalise Freling, Jamie Campbell and Kimberly Snickles —Gabryszak frequently made inappropriate comments to them; he allegedly told then 28-year-old Freling, “I got a boner when I walked into the office today when I saw you,” and “You’re so hot, you know what I want to do with you,” for instance, and is accused of inviting 26-year-old Snickles to a massage parlor and telling her he was “more of a ‘butt’ guy than a ‘boobs’ guy.”

If that’s not skeevy enough, Gabryszak, a Democrat, also allegedly sent Freling a video of “him in a bathroom, either receiving or pretending to be receiving fellatio,” under the premise of sending her a recording of constituents. And, oh, there’s more: Gabryszak allegedly told Freling he wanted to “lick her,” asked female employees to spent the night in his Albany apartment, suggested they wear bikinis to events, joked he had a tattoo on his penis, regularly talked about prostitutes and strip clubs and was generally just an all-around creep, according to the claim.

The employees say the harassment was allegedly ongoing for several years, and they all finally resigned between March and October of this year, according to the claim: “The behavior was so severe, persistent and pervasive that the claimants had no alternative other than to leave their employment.” Now, they’re reportedly hoping Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver takes action against Gabryszak—good luck with that!

Caught on Tape: Man Tries to Burn Wife in Motor Home

A Washington state man is accused of trying to kill his wife and father-in-law by setting their motor home on fire while they were inside.

The Olympian reported that 32-year-old Joshua Ford has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of first-degree arson after being arrested Saturday night in Rainier, Washington.

Ford is accused of locking his wife, who has not been identified, and his father-in-law, Ricky Luppino, inside the motor home after an argument before trying to set the vehicle on fire.

“He said he was gonna kill us, me and my daughter both” Luppino told KIRO-TV. ”

KIRO aired video showing Ford pulling a 5-gallon can of gasoline out of another vehicle, then kicking the door to lock it from the outside before pouring the gasoline onto the motor home and setting it on fire, resulting in a fireball emanating from the front of his relatives’ vehicle.

Ford can then be seen walking back toward the RV’s door and saying, according to Luppino, “I hope you both die.”

Luppino escaped through a window at the front of the vehicle and opened the door, allowing his daughter to follow suit.

Lauryn Hill Returns – Performs at Bowery Ballroom in New York

It wasn’t just a club date and the start of a tour; it was also a video shoot. When Lauryn Hill performed at the Bowery Ballroom on Wednesday night, the camera swiveling over the heads of the audience suggested that the show was something more than Ms. Hill’s re-emergence after her recent three-month jail term for failing to file taxes. It was gathering the kind of material performers use to promote new releases — which, in Ms. Hill’s case, would be more than welcome.

She has extraordinary gifts. Though her voice is lower and raspier than it was when she emerged in the 1990s, she is a supercharged soul singer who stokes her songs all the way through, and her rapping is breakneck, articulate and vehement. She’s also an improvisatory, drama-building bandleader. Throughout her two-hour set, her musicians were watching for her signals; to bear down on a vamp or silence it, to unveil pretty, elaborately planned vocal counterpoint from her three backup singers or to whip up a churchy fervor.

There were some moments that seemed like an open rehearsal, but many more that had been well plotted to give old songs new life. “Lost Ones,” from 1998, arrived with two reinvented grooves, switching halfway through: first 1960s soul, then reggae. “I have to make these songs sustainable to perform,” Ms. Hill said. “You wouldn’t want me to just, like a robot, do the same thing every night.”

Yet on a larger scale, Ms. Hill has been in a holding pattern for more than a decade. After she made two albums as a member of the Fugees, she released her only solo studio album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” in 1998; it won five Grammy Awards. It was followed by a skeletal live recording, “MTV Unplugged No. 2.0,” released in 2002, that backed new songs with only an acoustic guitar. Since then, while raising six children, Ms. Hill has toured on and off, released occasional songs online and on film soundtracks, and collaborated with rappers and R&B singers. This year, bracketing her jail term, she has released two new songs: the angry, tongue-twisting, polysyllabic raps “Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)” and “Consumerism,” both taking aim at greed, immorality, abuse, materialism and obliviousness.

New Mexico Police Shoots After Mother and Children in Minivan

There are obviously some bad decisions made by the driver of the minivan. When she was pulled over for going 71MPH in a 55MPH zone in New Mexico, Oriana Ferrell decided to drive off while the officer walked back to his car to issue her a ticket.

Driving off was obviously a wrong decision.

The officer jumped into his car and a short chase ensued. Oriana pulled over again and an irate police officer walked over to the driver side of the vehicle where Oriana sat waiting, and demanded she get out of the vehicle.

“Look, I’m going to ask you one more time to get out of the vehicle and then I’m going to pull you out, OK?” the officer said. “You’re already facing evading charges. You ran away from me.”

“Sir, I pulled back over, I didn’t run away,” Oriana said. “You see my children. I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to take them to the Rio Grande.”

At this point, the officer is seen on the dashboard cam trying to open the driver side door of the minivan. On the passenger side, Oriana’s 14-year-old son is seen opening his door to get out. He changes his mind and reentered the vehicle.

Oriana finally exited the vehicle and went with the officer behind the minivan. He asked her to face the vehicle and at this point, Oriana walked away, heading back to her car. The officer tried stopping her and at this point, Oriana’s 14-year-old exited the vehicle and tried defending his mother against the police. Oriana made it into the driver’s seat and her son ran into the passenger’s side followed closely by the police.

After meeting the doors locked, the officer bagan smashing the window of the minivan. A wrong decision on his part.

At this point, backup arrived and a scared Oriana, hearing her children screaming in a car with shattering glass all around them, sped off again. Another wrong decision, but one that is totally understandable under the circumstances.

At this point, one of the backup officers decided to pull out his gun and began shooting at the car as Oriana drove away trying to save her children. The officers chased after the mother, arresting her and her son when they stopped at the hotel.

So far, the officers have not been charged for shooting after a fleeing suspect, something the Supreme Court has barred in a 1985 ruling.

Kanye West: “The Confederate Flag is My Flag Now”

If you ask me, I’d say that Kanye West just sold out. I know it’s important to be a businessman in the music industry, but being a businessman doesn’t mean you give up your morals and what’s right.

West, who regularly promotes merchandise that sometimes displays the Confederate flag, was asked about that decision in a recent interview. His answer?

“You know the Confederate flag represented slavery in a way, so I made the song ‘New Slaves’ (on his new album, ‘Yeezus’). I took the Confederate flag and made it my flag. It’s my flag now. Now what you going to do?”

No one’s going to do anything about it Kanye. That’s the beauty of living in the United States, as represented by the American flag. You are free to make good decisions and you also free to make stupid ones. The American flag represent that freedom. But if you choose to own a flag that represent oppression and slavery, then go right ahead and do that. You are free to put your businessman mentality ahead of your morals.

God Bless America, or in your case the Confederacy.

Michael Jackson did it in one flawless move, but it took 225 members of the Ohio marching band to do the moonwalk in this magnificently choreographed tribute to the king of pop.

At halftime during Saturday’s game against the University of Iowa, those in attendance were taken back as the band played some of Jackson’s greatest hits. But the choreographed moves on the field makes this video a must watch.

Republican’s Reason For Shutting Down Government? Show Unity Against ObamaCare… Really!

Since the Republican Government Shutdown ended its 16th day yesterday, everyone’s been asking the same question. Why? Why did Republicans shut down the government and took this country on what seemed to be a pointless adventure. Well the answers are slowly beginning to come in and this from Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) takes the cake… so far.

The reason for shutting down the government? So that Republicans could “reestablish our brand as being against ObamaCare.” Really? Yea, really. They wanted to show the world that they are united against ObamaCare… a scheme that cost the nation $25 Billion so far.

KINGSTON: People need to exhibit their beliefs and have the opportunity to debate, which is what we’ve been able to do in the last two weeks, and I think you can, you know, from a pessimistic standpoint say, you guys, you Republicans did not get anything out of it.

But on the other side, I think it was important to us to reestablish our brand as being against Obamacare and from what we’ve seen so far, Obamacare is not going to be a winner. It has not decreased the cost of medicine or…

HAYES: Congressman, do you think anyone going into this was confused about the Republican stance on Obamacare?

KINGSTON: You know, you would be surprised. I’m telling you, sometimes our base thinks that we haven’t driven the point enough, even though we’ve had something like forty different votes to defund it in one form or the other, we still get complaints that we’re not doing anything to defund Obamacare.

Saturday Night Live – Time To Pray The Congress Gets It Right – Video

Maybe the most reasoned voice in Congress these days is that of Chaplin Barry Black. The Chaplin has opened all the floor sessions with a prayer, mostly geared towards the dumb path Congress has laid out for this country with the Government Shutdown and the unbelievable eventual outcome of America defaulting on paying its bills.

“Save us from the madness,” the Chaplin was heard praying in one of his sessions. “We acknowledge our transgressions, our shortcomings, our smugness, our selfishness and our pride,” he went on. “Deliver us from the hypocrisy of attempting to sound reasonable while being unreasonable.”

Well leave it up to Saturday Night Live to bring some humor in this very serious time. Just hours before America defaults for the first time in our history, SNL extends the role of the Chaplin Barry Black.

The Real Alan Grayson Returns – We’re Less Popular Than Dog Poop – Video

If you don’t know who Alan Grayson is, then you must have had your head under a rock! Please allow me to me to remind you.

On the House floor on Wednesday, Grayson educated his fellow House colleagues on just how popular the American people think they are, especially after the Republican Government Shutdown. Explaining the meaning of the word “dignity,” Grayson educates;

If dignity means what the dictionary says it means—the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect—then surely the honor and worthy of honor or respect of this house has been called into question.

When only 7 out of 100 Americans approve of what we do – the lowest approval rating ever – then surely our dignity has been diminished and is actively being called into question. If we are to be called obstructionists, practicers of partisan petulance, if we are called an establishment that is rotten to the core, if we are leaving Americans wondering why there is so much poison in the system, then surely our dignity as a body has been diminished.

If we’re accused of willingly provoking crises that suspend public services and decrease economic growth, then surely our dignity as a body has been diminished. If we cause international media outlets to refer to us as politically bankrupt and responsible for breaking America’s dignity, as a body, as a House, is being called into question.
