Laughable – Report that Freddie Gray was “intentionally trying to injure himself,”

Now how in the world is this even possible? That Freddie Gray, the man handcuffed by Baltimore police and had to be taken to a police vehicle screaming in pain because he was physically unable to use his legs… how is it even possible that he was inside the vehicle, he was “intentionally trying to injure himself?”

This one does not pass the smell test.

A prisoner sharing a police van with Freddie Gray the night he died of spinal injuries while in police custody in Baltimore purportedly told investigators that Gray was “banging against walls” inside the vehicle and was “intentionally trying to injure himself,” The Washington Post reported Thursday.

The statement from the unidentified prisoner was contained in an application for a search warrant, the newspaper said. The warrant has been sealed by the court, but the Post said it had obtained the documents under the condition that the prisoner not be named.

The newspaper noted that the prisoner, al though sharing the police van, was separated from Gray by a metal partition and could not see him.

Police had weeks since Gray’s death to come up with a better story, you’d think they’ll have something better than this.

Police: No Public Announcement on Freddie Gray’s Death on Friday

Freddie Gray died on April 19th after being in police custody where it was eventually determined that his spine somehow became 80% severed. After his death, the word from police indicated that on Friday, May 1st, there will be answers on what exactly happened to Freddie Gray. But now, just two days before that information is supposed to be released, Baltimore City police Capt. Eric Kowalczyk said that report will not be made public.

“What we are going to do, which is unique, is turn over all of our findings, all of our investigative efforts to the State’s Attorney’s Office,” Kowalczyk said. “We have an obligation to be accountable to the people of Baltimore in this investigation. We know that there are a lot of people who want answers who have concerns they want addressed and we have an obligation to do our best to be accountable.”

However, Kowalczyk said because the integrity of the investigation has to be protected, “We cannot release all the information from the investigation to the public.” He said in being held accountable with the state’s attorney, the Police Department would be accountable to the public.”

Mom Smacks Masked Son in Middle of Baltimore Rioting – Video

Commenters all over the interwebs are saying she should get the mother of the year award. The woman is seen on video beating the living crap out of son who thought he was about to take part in some of the rioting, looting and destruction going on in Baltimore. Toya Graham completely lost it when she saw the figure of her son, dressed in all black with his face covered, joining the crowed of rioters.

“Take the motherf*cking mask off,” Toya screams as she smack her unsuspecting son, Michael, with both hands across his head. After taking some of the initial blows, the teenager began walking backwards trying to get away from his mother, but she wasn’t done yet as she continued going after the boy. “Get over here now!” She says, following the boy as he tried to make his escape, while getting a few more smacks in the head from his very irate mother.

President Obama Speaks Out on The Violence in Baltimore – Video

Twenty four hours after Baltimore began burning due to riot activities related to the police killing of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, the President was asked about the incident today in a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Mr. Obama stressed that the problems of blacks and minorities being killed by police is not just a police problem or a community problem, but a problem the nation must face and correct.

“I think we as a country have to do some soul searching,” the President said. “This is not new. It’s been going on for decades.”

Police Seen Celebrating After Beating an Innocent Black Man – Video

This is the police video showing the aftermath of another police beating of a black man named Floyd Dent.

The beating left Mr. Dent suffering from multiple head injuries and broken ribs, but those injuries were not serious enough for the officers involved to request medical attention for the man they are sworn to “serve and protect.” Instead, the guardians of the law are seen at the Precinct cleaning themselves of Floyd’s blood, fist bumping each other and laughing, while Mr. Dent sits off to the side.

California Man on Horse Awarded $650,000 for Police Beat-down – Video

Francis Pusok, the 30-year-old man seen on video falling off a horse only to get his head kicked in by San Bernardino police, will receive  $650,000.00 from the county to settle all future lawsuits Pusok may bring.

A statement from Pusok’s lawyers said, “the Pusok family is happy to put this awful chapter of their lives behind them and begin the emotional and physical healing that must take place.”

The settlement does not negate any criminal charges for the 10 officers involved in the beating and future charges are still possible.

In a separate with statement, Supervisor Curt Hagman said the settlement resolves what could have been an expensive situation for the county.

“With situation behind us, we can move forward with protecting our residents and ensuring that local enforcement is responsive, effective and restrained,” Hagman said.

In a video recorded by a news crew, Pusok is seen riding a horse trying to outrun police. He falls off the horse and immediately lays facedown on the ground, arms and legs outstretched. He is then tased by an officer, then kicked in the head and groin multiple times while other officers piled on. Ten officers were placed on paid leave pending an ongoing investigation.

While in Police Custady, The Victim’s Spine “was 80 percent severed at his neck” – Video

To Serve and Protect. This video covers the death of Freddie Gray, another black man caught in the web of those hired to serve and protect him – the Baltimore Police. While the police were “protecting” Mr. Gray, his spine was somehow ‘almost’ completely separated from the rest of Mr. Gray’s body. This almost separation, according to the officers involved, happened because of a “medical emergency.”

A preliminary autopsy report showed Gray died of a spinal injury. Video shot by a bystander shows Gray screaming in apparent agony as police drag him to a van. Another witness said the police bent Gray like a pretzel.

Police Rage – Cop Snatches Woman’s Phone, Slams it to Ground – Video

Cell phone video is not going anywhere. It is one way thing Americans are doing to capture the actions of rogue cops intent on harming and even killing fellow Americans. 

But there is one rogue cop in California who is doing his best to stop all cell phone recording of police activities, and he is snatching and destroying people’s personal properties, one phone at a time.

The cell phone video below shows what appears to be a US Marshal charging after woman on a sidewalk in South Gate California as she recorded police activities. The rage filled man snatches her phone, Slams it on the ground and kicks it, unaware that another American was recording the entire event on her cell phone, directly across the street.

Watch Arizona Police Intentionally Runs Over Suspect With His Car – Video

I will stop broadcasting these stories about police brutality when those hired to serve and protect figure out what it really means to “Serve and Protect.”

This example of excessive force and police brutality comes from Arizona in an incident that happened on February 19th, when a suspect who allegedly had a gun was followed by various cops and then rammed by one officer driving a patrol car. This particular officer wanted to go home to his family and used his patrol car to send the man flying in the air. Fortunately, the man did not die from his injuries and the officer who used his vehicle as a weapon faced no charges from the department.

Another Police Shooting Caught on Camera – Another Black Man dies – Video

Eric Harris is just another man gunned down by a police officer… a reserved police officer… with the incident caught on camera.

Harris was involved in an undercover drug operation when things went south. The video shows him exiting a car and running away,  being chased by police officers and Robert Bates, a 74 year old millionaire, who volunteered as a reserved cop. On the video, Harris is caught by one of the officers and is on the ground when the 74 year old apparently went for his taser and pulled his gun instead, shooting and eventually killing Harris.

“He shot me!” Harris yelled, before he died. “He shot me, man. Oh, my god. I’m losing my breath.”

“Fuck your breath,” another officer is heard yelling on the video.

Harris’ brother Andre spoke with CNN and explained his frustration.

“It was a situation where I didn’t necessarily think that a taser should even be used,” Harris said on New Day. “As you see the footage that was three or four, maybe five people on him. We hadn’t seen the whole tape so I’m not exactly sure how many people are on him. But there was enough people on top of my brother, knees on his head, to not even have to use a taser. For it to be that many people around him and him go to use a taser really didn’t make any sense.”

“And then with the taser being yellow and on his chest, for him to shoot my brother with a .357 makes no sense to me,” Harris said. “It was overkill.” Harris added he was pleased to see charges brought against Bates.

Jay Z App Review Interrupted by The Police Shooting of Another Black Man – Video

His goal was to give a review of the new Jay Z music streaming app, but then the news broke about another black man gunned down by another police officer, and in this edition of The Illipsis, Jay Smooth shared his thoughts on the killing of the 50 year old African American, Walter L. Scott.

GoFundMe Shuts Down Donation Page for Police Who Shot Unarmed Man in Back

And once again, it has already started. Even with the video showing that the officer lied in his report on what happened in South Carolina, even with that video evidence showing a man being gunned down like an animal as, even with that video available for all to see, the supporters of the police who pulled the trigger are making themselves known with a GoFundMe page to raise money for the officer who shot the man in his back. But according to this report, that page was shut down by GoFundMe.

A fundraising page dedicated to South Carolina police officer Michael Slager was shut down by GoFundMe on Wednesday.

Slager was charged with the murder of 50-year-old Walter Scott after video surfaced of him shooting at the unarmed man eight times. GoFundMe’s public relations manager, Kelsea Little, told The Huffington Post that the page’s removal was “due to a violation of our terms and conditions.”

However, Little said GoFundMe was unable to discuss the details of the campaign with anyone other than the organizer because of “privacy concerns.”

One source of outside financial support for the Slager family will be North Charleston. In a press conference Wednesday, Mayor Keith Summey confirmed that the town would continue to pay for the medical insurance of the officer’s wife, who is eight months pregnant, until the birth of the child.
